    Praise Jesus!

All glory and honor to His mighty saving name! O/!

    Thanks for the encouragement.

Yea we must proclaim the truth in love.

    Ezekiel 33:6 KJV

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Jesus is returning to catch up a virgin chaste spotless bride of believers who are baptized in His name & filled with His Spirit. I pray that I will persevere to the end and can warn & lead as many others as the Lord wills into the fold.

    For He is also returning:

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that (a.) know not God, and that (b.) obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:"

    2 Thessalonians 1:8

If someone believes Jesus Christ the Son of God is a "pre-incarnate" "co-equal" deity of a "triune" triple God, then they (a.) don't know God ( Matthew 7:21-22).

And if they haven't been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins ( Acts 2:38), then they (b.) haven't obeyed His gospel.

    Be encouraged Sacha.

    Be well, in Jesus' name.

    Greetings in Jesus' name, Alec.

In this passage of scripture we can see that the pharisees were trying to trip Jesus up & condemn Him, as they always tried to, unsuccessfully. The sabbath was a convocation (an act or rehearsal) pointing to the 7th day 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ after His second coming. This is the rest spoken of in Hebrews that remaineth to enter into. Christian's don't enter into a day of the week, though there's certainly nothing wrong with observing the sabbath and the Lord's day.

    Concerning the pharisees:

13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

    - Isaiah 28:13

This is why Jesus said in :

    Matthew 23:23 KJV

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

    John 1:17

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

    I hope this helps you.

    Be well,

    Andrew

Thanks again Andrew ,i hope you will pop up here now and again ,there are one or two other things that i dont believe that lots of others seem to and i havent mentioned them ,yet ! Mostly i keep quiet because i know that people dont change their minds easily and im not a person who likes to get embroiled in long pointless arguements so mostly i say nothing and try to focus on the things we do have in common ,there are some things i do feel very stongly about and i know i wont be able to stay quiet for long , you have helped me to speak out about the fact that Jesus is not God and im so thankfull to you for that ,we are not alone ,there are a few others on here occasionally and most of my Christian friends know this ,stay strong and bold in the Truth ,you give courage to others ! May God bless you and bring you closer to Him every day through the mediation of our sinless High Priest in heaven ,Jesus Christ the Righteous .

    John 7:24

    King James Version

24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

    1 Corinthians 2:15

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

One may only judge all things righteously if it be that the Holy Spirit is in him.

Hi Andrew ,nice to meet you ,thankyou for so succinctly expressing what i have wanted to for so long now ,no one will ever be able to convince me that Jesus i s God ,it honestly distresses me that people think this , to me this doctrine actually diminishes the awe inspiring life and death of Jesus ,for his sacrifice to be acceptable as a covering for our sinfulness then he has to be just like us ,human, possessing free will and the ability to sin ,he lived a similar life to all of us before his annointing of the Holy Spirit ,he may not have had children of his own but i belive he had younger siblings ,he may have helped raise them depending on when Joseph died ,he may have been the breadwinner and provider for his family ,he understood us as humans totally , he received the Spirit WITHOUT MEASURE but that doesnt mean he was actually God ,for every verse that anyone tries to point to to say that he was i can point to twenty verses to prove he was not God ,he was tempted GOD CANNOT BE TEMPTED , im going to stop now ,im sure ive caused enough trouble for one night and im not going to debate this with anyone so you can all reply to me and i will read them but i would much rather focus on the Truth that binds us and not get into endless arguements ,no one will change my mind and im sad to think i wont change anyones mind ,thanks Andrew .

    Jacqueline,

There were 12 Original apostles, but many disciples. A disciple is a follower of Christ. There were and are many, many disciples, but no more apostles. An apostle was someone who was chosen specifically by Jesus and functioned as an ambassador of God. An apostle was somebody who was sent out on a commission.

    Dear Chris,

    A. Paul makes no reference to a warning about the Assyrian siege & hearing the word of God in other languages (the Assyrians were pagans, and the word of God was been only written in Hebrew).

Paul is showing forth that Isaiah's prophecy is showing that tongues are for a sign to them that believe not.

    B. You say you appeal to the scriptures, yet cleave to doctrines of men such as Tertullian etc. Both Tertullian and Sabellius (originator of the oneness/modalism heresy) were theologians/witchdoctors & wolves crept in unawares.

There is no issue with the divinity of Christ. The deity of Christ is His Father: God.

2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV) 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation

    God was in Christ.

It doesnt say God was Christ or Christ was God. It says Christ was/is the Son of God. Flesh and blood cannot reveal this to you.

This is the very definition of the word Christ: the annointed one.

He was annointed with the Holy Spirit of His Father @ his baptism by John in the Jordan river. Hallelujah!

That was when the Word (God) was made flesh.

He then began his 3.5 year ministry of miracles signs and wonders.

Furthermore as per the heretical doctrine of the "trinity": there are 3 "co-equal triune" deities.

    Matthew 1:18 KJV

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

So did Jesus have two Fathers?

"God the Holy Ghost" AND God the Father (the only true God)..???

I beseech you in the name of Jesus Christ to come away from the teachings of men & rome (MYSTERY BABYLON MOTHER OF HARLOTS) and all her "protestant" daughters, & read & believe the word of God AS IT IS WRITTEN.

This is your 2nd & final admonition.

I will pray for you, Chris, & I remain here for you in the gospel of Jesus Christ ( Acts 2:38)

    Be well.

Jesus said not to judge in several places:

    Luke 6 37

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

    Romans 2:1 |

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

    Romans 14:13 |

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

    James 4:12 |

There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

If you believe in God and Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and have been baptized you will receive the Holy Spirit. But if you believe in God and Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and have not been baptized will you still go to Heaven be not receive the Holy Sprit while your alive?

On both accounts Also Believe that Jesus is God's son who was sent as a sacrifice.

    Hello Levi,

I believe your statement is quite accurate. How you would refute a person trying to differ the 1611 KJV from the Oxford 1769 KJV(which we have now) is exactly what I would state and is correct. The only differences seem to be a bit different spelling of some words and capitalization here and there. As on this web site they have every single page of a 1611 KJV Bible photographed as we can go over the whole thing and see.

    God Bless.

Hello, we're all a part of the one human race and God doesn't distinguish between race and doesn't have any laws about the skin tone or pigment to marry. Moses married and Ethiopian and I'm sure there's many other mixed It's very unfortunate you heard this false teaching from this person. Often times false info comes from a source that is misinterpreted. For example when God led Israelites out of Egypt they passed through a land of 7 nations and Israelites were commanded not to marry them: Deuteronomy 7:3-4. It probably had less to do with their skin color and more to do with them being corrupt idol worshippers. False attribution is a common logical fallacy, but it's often done unevenly. Like, someone may ignore the verses in Leviticus about wearing adornments, fine clothes, gold, hair length, but then tell someone else they can't intermarry. All these laws were for the Israelites- which went beyond moral law, but civil, and ceremonial law. God asks us to avoid sin and keep moral law, not the laws specific to the Israelites for a limited time.

The Bible also warns to not be unequally yoked- meaning an believer with an unbeliever. But Paul in the Bible said it's better to remain single. So, one must read in context to understand what is a suggestion and what is a moral law God wants us to follow. When in doubt we should pray.

We should ignore flawed man's opinions and just go with what the Bible says. The Bible doesn't say anything against mixed race marriages. And most importantly pray to God and ask Him for confirmation and to release your heart of any doubts that have been instilled by others. God bless...

Is interracial marriage wrong? Will the Lord cast you out if you do marry someone of another heritage?
  • Jesse - In Reply on Hebrews 3 - 4 years ago
    Jeffrey,

I sat under the ministry of a pastor who never asked for money and never even passed a collection basket around during the service. Giving money was not important to him. But people still gave, and there was a reason why they gave. It wasn't out of obligation. What was important to him was that people were being ministered to, being fed!

In fact, he would tell those in his congregation that "If you're not being fed here, please go somewhere where you will be fed. To him, it wasn't important that they were there. What was important to him was that they were being fed. That was most important, that a person was being fed spiritually.

Now, ask yourself, are you being fed where you fellowship? If so, maybe your perspective on giving back might change.

I think it is important to support those in ministry, especially those who feed us. We should also feed them.

If the Lord puts it on your heart to give, then give. If He's not leading you to do so, don't!
  • Josie on Nehemiah 9:8 - 4 years ago
I need understanding on interracial marriage. Does the Bible talk about not mixing races at all and if we do the Lord will never allow us into his kingdom? Or is it if the person you marry does not believe in his word and risks leading your children away from him. Because I know Aaron and Miriam were judged for judging Moses and his wife, but was there an exception for them. I'm in an interracial relationship, I'm told it's very wrong. I'm hurt from it, but I want to make sure it's truly what the Bible says, if it's wrong to do. I've read many verses of it, but it all just seems that it says it's only bad if they aren't followers of Christ. I need more understanding, thank you if you read this whole paragraph and respond.

    Chris,

I do concur that both eras have ended, apostolic and prophetic. We both know that there are groups that claim there are both prophets and apostles in existence today.

I myself know that can't be so. If I recall, without looking it up in the scripture, so please don't quote me on this, but the qualifications of an apostle was that he had to be there from the time of John's baptism, had to be chosen by Christ, and also had to be an eyewitness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. No one alive today can meet those qualifications.

And yes, we have the complete word of God in written form. The book of Revelation was the final prophecy given to us.

Personally, when I hear of a "prophet" today, and there are many who claim to be, I am not even interested in what they have to say. I am very cautious.

I know that God does not give new revelation or new prophecy. If He did, it would have to be added to the Bible, and we are given a stern warning about adding.

If God gives a so called "prophet" today a new revelation, it must be added to the scripture because if God gave it, it's His word.

But those who profess to be prophets, they won't go that far as to add it. Why not? Well, I think we know the answer to that!

Thanks Chris, always a pleasure to hear from you. The Lord is good!

In some passages, the Bible says that Jesus is God ( John 10:30, John 1:1 & 14, Isiah 9:6, John 14:9), but other passages don't say that Jesus and God's are the same ( Luke 9:44, Luke 9:58, Matt. 16:13-17, Luke 18:19).

Are Jesus and God the same, or is Jesus God's Son?

How can I explain this to someone?
