Mystery Babylon America and the whole Babylonian system comes down at the day of the Lord ( Isaiah 47). America and her partner in crime Israel will both be taken at the abomination of desolation: America is taken at 3 pm EST (spoiler at noonday), and Israel is simultaneously invaded at 11 pm local time.

The 5th trumpet marked by 9-11-01 is almost past. Waiting on Rev 6:14, Rev 6:12 and Malachi 4:5 to show. Our visitation is practically at the door. Jesus thief with his iron and clay northern army will simultaneously turn both lands into a desolate wilderness. No, not even the mighty US will have the strength to save Israel from their fate ( Luke 21:20-24). Anti-christ will be sitting in the temple, claiming he's God. The only enemy in sight will be his own fractured beast army. The 6th trumpet is going to be the greatest show on earth.

God said in his word ask and it shall be given you knock and the door shall be open seek and you shall find.If a evil man know how to give good gifts to his son well when you ask the Lord Jesus for something he will give it to you all you have to do is to obey the Lord and live by his word and anything you asked of him he will bless you with. And remember now we are children of the king our King is king of all Kings and Lord of all Lords and there is nothing impossible for him to do and also don't forget before we was formed in our mother's wom he knew us and before we was borned he laid the foundation down for us so he wants us to ask him for whatever we need but also don't forget Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 1 tells us if we obey God and do as he command automatically we are blessed in everything we do but also God want us to pray and ask him for whatever we need but our prayer must be very sincere and remember now we can't fool God so if you are very sincere with your prey and you obey his word yes the Lord Jesus will give you what ever you ask of him.

If you reject commentators' understanding of Matthew 11:16,17, how do you then understand those verses?

I generally accept a comment, if made by one well studied in the Scriptures & who gives it a good support/defence, but leave the matter open till the Spirit reveals otherwise. So what I'm saying is, let's not discount all commentaries as I believe many of them have much to teach us as well, that will help us in understanding the Bible better. Otherwise, one should refuse to attend a Fellowship as the preacher offers a verbal commentary to us.

I hear the sweetness of Jesus in your words. It is always ok to ask Jesus for more: more light, a deeper understanding, a window into His heart to see the love He has for all people.

To be a part of His body; in the body of Christ: his hands, his feet, his ear to hear the cries of people in need or lost in spiritual darkness. There's a song I sing: ' Lord make me an Instrument'. It's on YouTube.

May the Lord show you every answer that you seek; and give you a hunger for more.

Born again is an act of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said you can feel the wind blow but you can't tell where it's from and where it goes. This means we have no part in receiving the Holy Spirit in order to be born again. It's all the act of God for those He choose before the world was created. God bless!

No, the Bible states that God saw what He created was good. If God had declared it good, then His own declaration would make it so and evil will have no place here. Isaiah 55:11 gives us this understanding. God bless you.

    Daren Croft,

Born again is to be filled with the Holy Spirit a act of God and God alone. Those who God choose from before the foundation of the world will receive it at different times in their lives. Some from in the whom like John the Baptist, some at birth, some in their teens, 20s, 30s and so on and some at the last day on this here earth like the thief on the cross. Jesus being God in the flesh do not need to be born again. God bless you.

I once read a commentary ,when i was quiet young and hadnt read all the Bible yet ,that tried to tell me that Matthew ch 11 v 16 & 17 were about a game that children in the mid east must have played ,it waffled on for about two pages making all kinds of presumptions and assumptions and guesses about theses two verses ,im done with commentaries and have been for many years ,i trust what God says not what people say ,i by no means understand everything in the Bible and i dont expect i shall in this life but ever time i read it i feel like i put one more piece in a very big jigsaw puzzle and i see just a little bit clearer ,as long as that still happens on a regular basis i am happy but thankyou for your advice ,we are not all the same and we dont have to be ,may God continue to bless you every day .

It pays to read all of the Geneology scriptures. If it's recorded, that is the final answer.

If your Bible has center of the page references to other relevant scriptures, I read all of those too. Those open up the total picture of Bible people.

There's hundreds of Geneology charts on Google you can look at. Pick the ones that agree with scripture. Prove validity always.

Jesus was not Begotten by any earthly father. The begotten are whom born through normal biological relationship with their father and mother. Jesus was conceived by Holy Spirit in the Mary's womb. Joseph never knew Mary.

  • Pandemic or Pestilence - In Reply on Revelation 21 - 4 years ago
Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, and also, Mark and Luke; what are to be signs of the times we are living in.

I've listened to some of those folks teaching on what Covid means to this generation. The Bible names these things as PESTILENCE. Today's world, HIDES that by calling it, PANDEMIC.

Africa, the Mideast and other places are overrun with locust Pestilence. All their crops are being destroyed. The world food supply is being attacked every day. You can Google "Locust Swarms today", and read those reports. Our national news media NEVER reports that on the evening news. They have used the honey bee disaster occasionally. That's a Pestilence too.

Last year we had almost no hurricanes till the end of the season; and then here hey come: one on top of another. Look at the recording websites, daily, of earthquakes, volcanoes, typhoons, etc.

Three million Californians have moved to Texas because they greatly fear "the big one is coming". Population is shifting everywhere. Forest fires are expected every year now. Scientists say that Yellowstone super volcano is showing "signs" of great instability.

God in His Mercy is trying to get our attention off sports etc and onto His end time plans ( Matthew 24). Stay informed. Don't build your house on a riverbank, the beach, or in the middle of a forest!

Shockingly, there are 3 scriptures in the Bible that point to China as a pestilence/pandemic source. Mostly due to crowding, little food for the poor, and nefarious people. Type 'China' in the search box and get your Bible maps out. The ancient Mideast is named too.

It's been in the Bible for 2000 years. We just didn't see it until now.

Make PREPARATION, and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior now! Get your loved ones in His care, NOW. Quit listening to fools and read the Book of Peter yourself. Jesus is the Rock of our Salvation.

Trust Him, and Him only. The world, or Jesus? Pick only one.

  • Use of Bible Study Helps - In Reply on Acts 3 - 4 years ago
I read commentaries sometimes. There is a Commentary Search link on this website.

Lots of Bible students use it. We use Bible Dictionary, Concordance, History, Multiple Commentaries, and other "helps".

A serious student uses what is available. If you street evangelize, you have need of being enabled to give an answer for what you believe; along with a huge amount of Grace and Mercy.

The more we know, is a pool of Living Water the Holy Spirit has, to draw the lost to the Savior of their souls. Like the woman who met Jesus at the well. She ran to her neighborhood and told them, "COME SEE A MAN!! Who told me all of my life history." The entire community was saved, as a result. That is remarkable and worth remembering.

    Apologies. Mishael

Psalm 24 was one of The Psalms read in public school homeroom every morning. I heard it read so often that I have most of it memorized.

The portion that deeply influenced me is...

Who shall ascend to The Hill of The LORD or who shall stand in His Holy Place?

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing of The LORD and Righteousness from The God of his Salvation.

Righteousness that is not my own.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;" Tit 3:5

"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:" 1Co 1:30

    I meant genetically of course.

Joseph and Mary were both chosen to be Jesus's parents. Why is it so easy to be offended when the details are recorded in scripture? I was not disputing anything. I'm sorry you were upset by my comment.

Is this the end time. COVID-19 500,000+ souls dead, and the bible says "The dead in Christ shall rise first and those that are alive and remain should be caught up to meet him in the air." and is the COVID-19 vaccine the mark or type of the mark of the best. There are some end-time prophets preaching this, I am not in fear at all, because I know none will live forever, but I am just in questioning, nothing more and nothing less. There are some end-time prophets that belief wearing the mask is a control sign of the best and his way of getting worshipers.,

When I was a five year old boy, Pastor Rouse one evening, did not do an altar call.

After we got home, I asked my parents why Pastor Rouse didn't ask people who wanted to accept Jesus as their Savior to come forward. They, very wisely, asked me more questions about my question and that night I put my trust in Jesus.

I knew I was a bad boy and I didn't want to be like that. I knew that Jesus died for me. I'm not at all sure what specific Scripture verses I was aware of. By the age of 5, I had memorized Psalm 1, Psalm 23 and John 3:16 and probably knew even more by osmosis. But with that limited knowledge, I knew that Jesus was The One I needed to trust. God had been working on my heart for years.

Since that day, I have reaffirmed admission of my utter sinfulness and my trust in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection as the only way.

Here's another recollection. We moved out of the city when I was 5. I can vividly remember things in the city house. I can recall my parents talking to another couple, at the dining room table in the city house, about "Manny", who was a "hyper-calvinist." Things like that stuck.
