Dear Heavenly Father, we bring Jesusgirl and her husband before you now in the name of Jesus asking You to bring harmony and peace in their life together and that this matter of what is occurring in Israel and Gaza will no longer put a wedge between them. Have them come to an agreement on this in faith and do not let the devil gain a foothold in their marriage. Lord God, help them in this time and strengthen them in faith in You and love for one another. Steer their conversations away from this conflict and onto other things. Lead them to study Your Word together and to gain spiritual nourishment from it. Be near them both in the day to day activities they engage in and bring them enjoyment in what they share together. Amen.

"And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand"(Re.11:11-13)

There are several earthquakes mentioned in the Bible. One we shall quote here, "yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee./ And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:/But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light."(Ze.14:5-7). 'Tenth part of the city fell'. Compare this with "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;/ And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind." (Re.6:12-13) The number 10 and the fig tree are often applied to the nation of Israel.Number of slain men were 7x1000 so the inference is clear. It is decreed from heaven.

From the key text we have the earthquake set in the backdrop of the martyrdom of the two witnesses. "And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet;" They were caught up to heaven in plain sight of his enemies. We are looking at the same hour in which rapture takes place and then the earthquake. "Yes 'ye shall flee' and we see the Palestinians fleeing from Gaza at this moment' Zechariah is addressing Israel. Now an earthquake splitting Jerusalem decimating as he warns, remains to be seen."And the Lord shall come/ and all thhe saints with thee,"

Ro.12:4-21 "One Body"

The Lord's Prayer has this:"...Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matt.6:10)

"The Body prepared for the Son (Ps.40:7;He.10:5-7) The writer to the Hebrews also refers to it, "Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me." This is with reference to what was in the divine Will. Where the NT writer refers is how God the Son fulfilled it. It is body a memorial, and a body fashioned after human body. The prayer is the very foundation of Christian Living so every believer while on earth model their body of experience in the manner Jesus Christ fulfilled the human aspect. This becomes all the more significant when we identify with the body of Christ to which Holy communion is a reminder of what our Savior Lord did. He poured out meaning that he totally identified with the world whom he was to serve as Servant-King. "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:/ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:/And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross./Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:(Phi.2:6-9)" When we believed and came to the born again experience we shall conclude that we are in Christ or rather we have a body but it is no longer the body of natural man but the selfsame body as befitting those who have cast their hopes beyond the veil as a sure anchor. Christian Living it is called. We are in body attending to our material needs (Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;-v.11)' yet we are in heavenly places. We are dead to the world and we live by faith that we shall one day be received by him. Of this apparent contradiction St Paul speaks thus"We are confident,I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord(2 Co.5:8).

I've openly stated that I'm in the work of the washing of regeneration & renewing in the Holy Spirit, the work of sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling to the Blood/Life of Jesus.

The phases themselves indicates a cleansing from sin & a renewing into the image of Him who created him.

I've experience through the years, that this cleansing is not only from the committing of sin, but from the temptations to commit sin, though not submitted too. Their powers are weakened as I pick up the Cross & deny self in the inward parts, were thoughts are formed & birth, springs forth & we become conscious of them, Holy Spirit quickens me in my conscience to their stratagem within & without & makes me to learn Wisdom, Job 28:28 He preserves me 1Pet 1:5 by faith in the inward Voice, Grace appearance.

Surrendering to Christ is not a one time thing, it's a daily surrendering, as one exercises & abides in known Truth & as new light & knowledge is shined into our hearts in the face of Jesus Christ. Paul says at the end of his life, "I have kept the Faith"

A Christian life is one of constant growth, a perfection that can be added too. Even in our unperfected state there's a perfecting of our faith, how else will one ever arrive at 2Cor 7:1 "its from faith to faith, glory to glory".

I appreciate your concern, spiritually, but my faith whom Christ has Authored decrees a cleansing from all sin, Titus 2:14 & according to my faith, so shall it be unto me.

Ephesians 3:19,20 Matt 5:6 both indicating there's no place for darkness to remain & that God is able.

The Number Seventy

The Spirit while organizing the Bible has assigned numbers as tags where the number multiplied by 10 refers to man's life. A godly man therefore lives by the Law of the word. (Ps.119:89). 7x10 explains him.

In the Book of Exodus we have this line: "And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already (Ex.1:5)".

Compare this citation from the Acts. "Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls." Here we have two numbers 75 and 70. There is no discrepancy here. The number 75 refers to the exact number of souls but in the same sense we find 70 is placed in the narrative. "Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there near the water(Ex.15:27)". The significance of number 12 and 70 there is placed as a reminder that this wanderings of the children of Israel has a spiritual ancillary. Compare it with the occasion Jesus sent his 12 disciples and later 70 other disciples ( Luke 9:1 and 19:1). The trek towards the Promised Land is a dry run where Moses is a stand-in for the Son. The Spirit uses command number as additional safeguard so when we compare spiritual significance of the Salvation Plan with another passage there shall be no error.

Likewise 70 weeks refer to unfolding and fulfillment of events revealed to Daniel, which are part of the history of Israel with frame of reference to the Son.

Here we have two groups of men of equal status representing their masters. There is friction and there is talk of war. The Spirit has set their meeting by the conduit of the upper pool which means that all that water is going some place. We shall see where it comes from. Pool, fountain, well or water hole all have one thing in common,- water. It is the sign of God's blessing which was sent from heaven along with the creation of Adam, sent as a river coming down and in four heads which watered the Garden of Eden. This has been all the while flowing beneath the feet of these warring parties.

This helps us place the current events in the Middle East, in Ukraine or in USA in context of the water of life, river pure water of life which signifies time.

Seventy weeks as you have rightly pointed out holds significance and makes 490 years. In terms of history a chronological order is very significant. But here we are talking about the God document where the fulness of Christ is the centre of gravity to which all events move. This historical perspective I can explain from recent history. I was a war child. Having lived through 8 decades living in another continent, yet Stalingrad Siege was a crucial event that drew me in. Papers were full of daily grind house to house combat and twists and turn of the battle. Now in any history book WWII merits a couple of pages I will be surprised if this siege would get even a paragraph. And the exploit of Vassily Zaitsev in Enemy at the gate , in the overall narrative would have fallen through the tiles as it were. There is a distortion. It is thus we need look at time element in the Bible. Jesus Christ, " And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Col.1:17)

Now 70 weeks hold spiritual significance. Seven is a number of completeness. 7x10 is applied to the life of am as 120 years was applied (Ge.6:3) Man's life reckoned in terms of the Gospel and it applies to the Advent of Christ. 70 weeks carry several tasks which are set in frame of reference to the ministry of Jesus. "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

1) to finish the transgression 2) to make an end of sins. 3) Here we have the ministry of reconciliation,-'to make reconciliation for iniquity, 4)to bring in everlasting righteousness et al.,

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This current millennium belongs EXCLUSIVELY to my Lord JESUS, all Power was given to Him in heaven and in earth, so what the powerful and great rulers of powerful nations are saying and claiming, and vociferating will not happen absolutely, everything they speak will not be fulfilled, but never. My Lord JESUS is in control of history, nothing random happens or will happen.

My Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels (the true believers- Luke 20:35-36). In flaming fire taking VENGEANCE on them that know not GOD, and that obey not His gospel, the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be PUNISHED with everlasting destruction- Revelation 11:18- from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power;(according to the Mat.28:18) when He shall come to be glorified in His saints(true believers), and to be admired in all them that believe (in Him).

Now, even now, and from now on, what will LITERALLY be fulfilled according the written Word of GOD? Opinion is good for nothing, by the Word of GOD there will be only and only PUNISHMENT, punishment over punishment, anguish of ALL nations, and tribulation, and so on.

The rebel Israel was banned from their land and was spread around the whole world from year 70 AD until 1948, but from now on...? What will happen with Israel and Gentile nations?

Romans 2:9 - Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

What will happen with Israel according the Word of GOD? The rebel Israel was banned from their land and was spread around the whole world from year 70 AD until 1948, but from now on...? The Word is GOD, LITERALLY self-executing, understand?

By the way, the everlasting PUNISHMENT announced since ancient time, had a specific time to begin, but not to end, of course, and THIS TIME HAS ARRIVED and the everlasting punishment begins to run now, even now, and from now on, it's for ever and ever.

If this helps any, I can share this on the last part of Hebrews 1:2. Where it says, "by whom also He made the worlds," the word worlds in the Greek text is the word ages, which denote epics of time, stages of time in history.

Christ ministry on earth was 1290 days, or 42 months, or 3 1/2 years, at the end of 1290 days, he was crucified, taking away the daily sacrifice.

45 days after his resurrection, came PENTECOST the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, until pentecost, the Holy Spirit was silence in heaven.

Seal 6in Revelation is the resurrection of Christ and with him the i44000, the Old Testament saints, the first, after Christ, of firstfruits of the resurrection.

Seal 7 was Penetcost,. there was silence in heaven for the space of half and hour (symbolic of Daniels prophecy).

Genesis 11:27-32. Abraham, his father, Terah, nephew Lot, with their wives left Ur in southern Mesopotamia, almost at the northernmost coast of the Persian Gulf. Ur was one of the first cities built in the plains between the Tigris and Euphrates after the family of Noah migrated south and eastward from the Mountains of Ararat after the landing of the Ark.

They came to Haran in Padam Aram in Northwest Mesopotamia (modern day Syria/Iraq border area) where Terah and Nahor settled their families there and the whole family dwelt in Haran for a time until God again called Abram to travel to the land He had chosen for Abram. It seems that Nahor already lived in Haran because he did not travel from Ur with the group. Later, Isaac send for a wife from the family of Nahor in Haran. Rebecca. Haran became a major city on the trade routes from Egypt through Canaan to the Tigris-Euphrates plains that lie between these rivers going northwest to southeast to the Persian Gulf. Abram, Sarai, Lot journeyed from Haran to Canaan.

God asked Abram to leave his family and set out with Sarai to the land God would show him. Lot went with them to Canaan. ( Genesis 12) It seems that Abram had servants that went with them whom they had acquired while residing in Haran. ( Gen 12:5) So, there must have been a larger group of people than just Abram, Sarai, and Lot.

Abram and Sarai and Lot descended from Noah's son, Shem, therefore were known as Semites along with all the other descendants of Shem that formed other people groups and tribes. He was descended from Eber (sometimes spelled Heber) and therefore was called a Hebrew along with all of the other descendants of Eber that formed other people groups and tribes. By the time of Abram, the Semites and more narrowly, the Hebrews were a large race of people. But as one can see from the list of nations in Genesis 10, God was slowly narrowing down the family and tribes that He wished to work through in those days as people selected.

hey Oseas, from a "prophetic" standpoint a half an hour equals 7 days. Jesus said his holy angels would be coming with him when he comes back. Matthew 25:31, could it be the "silence" there is because noone is home? We learn from Daniel that a "prophetic" day is equal to a Hebrew year, 360 days. 70 weeks equaled 490 literal years, Daniel ch 9, concerning the coming of Jesus. So, they may be on their way at that time, noone knows for sure.. but it seems a logical, "spiritual" conclusion. Just saying..

Hey Bennymkje, wanted to mention, the prophetic "day" is actually a year. We learn this from the 9th chapter of Daniel regarding the 70 "weeks" actually being 490 years. The time, times and half of time, as well as the 42 months, have already happened. It began in 538 AD under emperor Justinian, before he relocated he gave the vatican an army, it was indeed a period of 1,260 years. A time of horrible persecution by the catholic church, in which believers were imprisoned, tortured, burned at the stake, etc. Not being "argumentative" mind you, just a slight correction. The time, times and dividing of time had not happened when it was spoken of to Daniel (of course).. but in Revelation the 42 months, which was the same 1,260 year period was getting closer at hand.

Christ is IN HEAVEN, at the right hand of his Father, but that heaven is the NEW HEAVEN ....this mystery ..... CHRIST IN YOU ....

Some thoughts of mine about the end times. The Bible talks about a kingdom that will rule over the whole earth. Which Kingdom that might be? Assuming the end timea are now (I firmly believe so) what can be a good guess? In Daniel 2:40-43, we are given a description of that kingdom: 1. a union of kingdoms, 2. "they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.", which means that there will be a dispersion of nations in that union., 3."And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.", which means some nations in that union will be weak and other strong. What does that remind you of? Definitely the European Union. But can Europeans dominate the world on their own? For the time being it doesn't look like it. So they are going to need a powerful ally. Who that might be? USA, maybe NATO. So my belief tends to be that that last kingdom will be in general the Western World, maybe NATO or something similar. How is it possible a person like the antichrist ascending to the highest place in that kingdom? With the aid of satan and with the abscense of the only obstacle which is the church (with our prayers and authority on devils), it seems he will manage to do it

So I don't think either Russia or China or Iran or any alliance of those will ever manage to be a problem to that union. The Bible is definite about it, "And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise."

So I believe sometime we will see the end of those problems with those countries. Now about Israel now and the fights in Gaza. I don't think it will lead to a general conflict. That general conflict will take place at the end in Armaggedon. So one way or another it will finish but with consequences in the economy worldwide.
