    Chris

You said "If we cover human beings given to sexual deviancy with the skin of animals, then God sees them as animals?" No, humans do not cover humans with skins. God covers humans with skins as stated in Gen.3:21, "unto Adam and also unto his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothed them." God clothed them in skins. God did not literally kill an animal and use the skin from that animal. God saw them as animals. Animals are not the image of God. After a person commits unnatural sex they have departed from God to serve Satan. They are no longer the image of God. They are like the animals that are not the image of God.

When Jesus sees an entire generation as vipers, they are not wearing Halloween costumes. They did not dress themselves as snakes. He is saying they are children of Satan and not children of God.

The word fornication does not cover all sexual acts. It did not include David's adultery. All sin is not equal. Fornication is idolatry, whoring. 1 Cor. 6:13, "The body is not made for fornication, but for the Lord."

Fornication is the sin of the Gentiles.

Acts 15:28,29: "I lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood and from things strangled, and from fornication from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well."

Fornication is the sin of Babylon.

Babylon is mentioned 260 times in the King James Bible

Rev. 19:2, "For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication [porneia], and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand." The entire earth will be corrupted by this most popular sin of unnatural sex. It is the broad way that leads to destruction. This sin began in Eden.

1 Corinthians 14:1-4 "Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: (If it is an unknown tongue (language), it is reasonable to assume that men would not understand it, but God understands all languages, so a person speaking in an unknown tongue would be speaking to God. for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself;(showing off) but he that prophesieth edifieth the church." Tongues are for them that believe not.

Tongues are for them that believe NOT. 1 Corinthians 14:22 "Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe." As Christians we walk by faith, not by sight (sings, tongues). 2 Corinthians 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)".

God does speak to his people today. Some Bible scriptures can only be understood by revelation. It is not good to make assumptions about the Bible unless it is written. In a lot of denominations people believe things in the scriptures have passed away and that is because people come up with these ideas that have no bible foundation. The scriptures cannot be understood fully by simply reading. I always pray for understanding and revelation before reading God's word and I do receive as requested.

    Luke 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

    Mark 4:11

And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

    1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We were already dead, and the Bible says, Ephesians 2:1 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:" Once you believe the Gospel for the Gentiles, God quickens you.

Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
  • Charles R Peek - In Reply on Romans 6:11 - 5 years ago
We were saved from all sins, past sins, present sins, and future sin the second we believed Paul's Gospel to the Gentiles during the age of grace. Which is: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Tongues were a sign gift to the Jews, because their Nation started under Moses with sign and wanders; miracles of all sorts. The tongues sign was to bear witness to the Gospel for the Jews ( John 20:31 "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." So if someone was speaking in tongues today, would they be speaking to Jews; for the Gentiles don't need a sing?

  • Charles R Peek - In Reply on Romans 8:9 - 5 years ago
Jesus is the same, but dispensations are not, and ages are not the same, and what the Jews believe to be save, is different from what the Gentiles believes to be saved, and many other things in the Bible are not the same.

    Dear God,

Please heal my co-worker Marva who is filled with anger and hatred. Marva comes from a place that uses voodoo and witchcraft, please God release the strongholds over her from these evil practices. Marva claims to be Christian but is very mean and cruel. Please heal and release her from all generational curses, demonic oppression and wrongful inclinations of her own heart. I pray that Marva will repent of her sins, ask for Your forgiveness God and welcome Jesus into her heart so that she can be reborn in Jesus' spirit! I pray this in Jesus' name, amen!

What your husband is endeavouring to do may show some value, particularly to those who are uninformed about the global political situation, but to devote so much time to information gathering & publishing where attendance at your Fellowship has to be neglected, is not only a misdirected quest but detrimental to his spiritual life, his family & even those he knows at Church. He may not see it now, thinking that he has it all under control & his faith is strong, but one of the many reasons we attend Church is to bring our lives & our thoughts into a correct perspective, by paying special attention to the reading of the Word, singing to the Lord, & to receive both a mental & spiritual challenges from the message by God's servant. Tell him that to give up just a couple of hours on a Sunday to worship as a couple & meet & encourage the others whom you know there, is vital to all & brings glory to God.

Don't discourage him from his 'watchman' pursuit, though I wonder whether all the information he gleans is actually true, verifiable & profitable to others. I think most of us realize that world leaders, even the honest, upright ones, have to stay true to their political affiliation, which often goes against what is right & proper, even against biblical standards & values. So what must be the condition of those who are corrupt, self-seeking & give little value to life. And even if he exposes all this, I wonder whether his purposes would ever be fully realized. In any case, if he sees that you are supportive of him to some extent & interested, he may well consider your appeal to him, favourably.

Indeed, God is still in control even though at times it may not appear to be so. All these griefs we face must come to pass as part of God's Agenda - it may be worthwhile to warn others, but more so to look to our own spiritual health & family needs first. There has to be a balance in whatever we do, & the end of it has to be for God's Glory. 1 Corinthians 10:31: "whatever we do".

If the wanker is behaving like Caligula, while entertaining impure thoughts of coitus with his married neighbor----his imagination is sinful, is it not? You are correct for our society, but perhaps not some thousands of years ago.

In Noah's time there were 900 year old giants roaming around. They lived long lives to populate the earth, until the time of Moses when the life span was cut to 120. So, I'm sure this group of procreating flood survivors would not take any tossing away of seeds lightly, and therefore might consider a wank a sin. It's really the secondary charge, the sin of lust that exposes the wanker. This is the basis for Gen 38:8-10.

Of Biblical law: if you think of adultery, you are guilty of adultery (to include perversions).

As far as where the seeds should go, and where they shouldn't go, please see Matthew 13:3-8 & 18-23. There is subtle symbolism, enough to say that God doesn't like errant seeds.
