    Hello Michael,

I have been reading all your comments you have been posting here about "tongues". I see you are picking Scriptures and portraying them to be "only" about speaking in unknown tongues of the Holy Ghost. Like Isaiah 33:19. It says "Thou shalt NOT see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand". The word "stammering" here is the Hebrew word "la ag" Strongs number H3932. Meaning "to deride or speak unintelligibly" or "to mock or ridicule". This is not speaking of the "tongues" of the Holy Ghost.

I don't want to argue with you Michael. If you want to believe that "only" those who can speak in an unknown "tongue" has received the Holy Ghost that is your belief. Like I stated before. To me with my experiences and understanding this is false. I was lead to reply to you.

I'll end with one question. The numerous times through the Gospels our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to the Father, as the very in depth prayer in John 17. Do you believe our Lord was not praying to our Father in the Holy Ghost because it was not in an unknown tongue?

Thank you for your answer. Again I don't want to quarrel. Especially with another believer in Christ so this will be my last statement on this subject.

Have a wonderful day. God Bless.

I enjoy using the naturalreader website, free text to speech. You can choose your font size or apply a dyslexic font that makes it easier on your eyes. The toolbar includes different voices and speeds and will highlight the words as it reads. Just copy and paste your text into the window and go. You can manually add spaces between lines if needed.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4

"[1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: "

The Lord Jesus Christ can help you (repent:change your mind on what you thought before), and give you strength through any trouble.

    Romans 5:1-4

"[1] Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. [3] And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; [4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope: "

    Philippians 4:6-9

"[6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

Many use verse and scripture in the wrong context not discerning spiritual with spritual things ....any deadly thing can be seen this way a posionous snake can be they way a person speaks ...or how you hear....or what you see and assume the opposite as to what you should know about what you see .....Thats why the Word of God says ( LET NOT YOUR GOOD BE EVIL SPOKEN OFF ) ....

Hebrews 9:27 is simply a short statement about the progression of a life from birth to death. All of us, having no control over our aging process which leads to our last breath, will face death as a normal course of human existence.

But in the Rapture of the Saints, those that are alive to be a part of it, will not die - will never taste of death, but be ushered with glorified bodies into the presence of Christ. And those of God's children who have died prior to the Rapture, will be raised from the dead first, that their glorified bodies would unite with their souls & together will be with the Lord forever. This was the comforting message to the Thessalonian believers who were despairing that those who had already died would miss out from being with Christ in their new bodies. Even though we cannot envisage such a spectacular event, how the dead are raised from almost no visible evidence to us, or indeed, how we are raised into the sky to be with the Lord, yet the Bible states this event & that we should live in such manner of expectancy & holy living.

If jesus said he is the same today yesterday and forever what does that mean to you regarding the whole bible in general ....
  • Chris - In Reply on Romans 6:11 - 4 years ago
Neither. I understand that the crucifixion & resurrection of Jesus was for the forgiveness of our past sins & removal of them that were held to our account. Hebrews 10:16,17: "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more." And, Romans 4:25: "Who (Jesus) was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification." Our sins placed on Jesus at the Cross have been taken away, no longer imputed to us & we remain justified (i.e. to be declared not guilty, absolved, acquitted) from any further recourse or punishment. When God looks at us, He sees us IN Christ & clothed in His Righteousness (& not our own which could only condemn us).

Salvation, I believe is a once only event that was accomplished at the Cross & received through full faith in that Work. It can't be undone or re-given: we're either saved or not, or else, we show that we despise this great Work & count it of little worth. What you wrote, "that Salvation is a process of maturing in the spirit of Christ", I see that as the ongoing filling Work of the Spirit, as we continue to empty ourselves of that which hinders His Work. And when we do, He reveals to us more of Jesus, endeavouring to make us more like Him in every way. ( Ephesians 3:19, 5:18).

You mentioned an alternative translation of Jesus on the cross saying 'how could you forsake me?' Can you tell me where to find the translation you quoted? That line has always puzzled me because I instinctively know the statement to be false; the king of kings would not whine like a pleb. Only a fool would believe that that book was shielded from edits, while full well knowing satan is the god of this world. However, bring up the Bibles' credibility here, you will get Christians bending over backwards with scriptures to defend the indefensible for ego sake.

    Hello Richard

if you had read what I have being replying to Spencer with you would of notice I like to use scripture because

Jesus said every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and the Word of God also says if another angel brings another gospel let him be accursed..

I particularly use scripture for one reason its God you answer to not me .the word also tells me not to add or takeaway from the word of God it can cost you eternal life..

    ACTS CHAPTER 2 Says ....

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in other tongues as the SPIRIT GAVE them the utterance..

And spiritually anyone who speaks in tongues has their own tongue no one has the same...

First of all, thank you all for your awesome site! I absolutely love it! Its taken me about 40 years to get to a point of having some understanding of God's word. It never ceases to amaze me.The Bible is a way more effective tool when we use it to verify situations, occurrences, and then refer back to the word with comparative principal. What this vlearly represents is a form of slavery that seems to have been around since the fall of man/angels in the "garden".

From angels fallen to mankind, and mankind falling to a beast commonly known to is todsy as "hu-man". Sons of God, to sons of man...and then sons of perdition. With our birth certificate created at our birth, they created a "CORPORATE FICTION"...An "Ens Legis. It is in all caps and has the capacity and status of a dead body...It is a corpus. The State captures the soles/souls on a document brfore our babies feet touch the ground and claim jurisdiction over them/us. If Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, then where was this battle in Heaven where Lucifer and his angels warred against Michael and Gods angels actually taking place? When God created Man in the Creation account in the beginning..It was an equal creation...Male and Female He created He them. But this garden story where you know who happened to be a third party and led the male and female to sin and to "fall" through what I have come to clearly understand through Gods Loving Mercy and Grace, is that the forbidden fruit was Sex.Out of wedlock. Which is the act of "reproduction" ,NOT "Procreation" which in turn made them something God did not intend on them being. The first/original estate is mentioned in the book of Enoch. It speaks of how the angels that fell turned away from what God wanted for them/us ,so they became manifestations of themselves and not Gods intended way. Once I was at the end of my rope, and surrendered ,then came understanding. I could go on and on. ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO THE FATHER! God bless you all!

The day of the Lord is a very specific day of destruction from the Almighty; Judgment day for the people of earth. It is not an everyday occurrence: Mystery Babylon and the entire Babylonian system comes down in under one hour. The day of the Lord is synonymous with the 6th trumpet strike: Isaiah 13, Isaiah 47, Ez 21:1-24, Ez 38:1-17, Jer 50, Jer 51 and Rev 18. It is Jesus who comes like a thief on HIS day named for HIM to lay the land desolate. The spoiler at noonday (anti-christ) Jer 15:8 places the abomination of desolation that obliterates both corrupt houses of Israel to dust. America by fire, and Israel by invasion/captivity as they reap Jacob's 6th trumpet time of trouble.

    Michael,

You seem to believe in your own doctrine in that only those who can speak in tongues have received the Holy Ghost. I am sorry to tell you this but you are wrong. Others have posted much Scripture on this that you seem to want to ignore. Nit picking verses like Mark 16 and thinking Jude 1:20 is the same as speaking in tongues. Seeming to have more zeal for different tongues than the teachings of Christ and the Word of God in the Holy Scriptures. God knows when we pray to Him no matter what, of the thousands, of languages it is in. God reads hearts not just an angelic tongue.

. 2 Corinthians 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

God Bless those who have the gift of speaking in unknown tongues. Like I stated before I see no use for this gift and am not interested in asking for it. My Father and Lord Jesus Christ know when I am speaking/praying to them.

I wish you well on your journey. God Bless.

The 6th trumpet changes the world with much violence. 'Jesus thief' and his northern army will cover Mystery Babylon like a cloud. America to desolation, Israel to captivity, both taken in the self-same hour. 1) Obadiah saw it coming, he saw Esau (Russian confederacy) destroy Jacob (US, Israel), whole. 2) Dan 11:40 The king of the north (Russia) destroys the king of the south (US, Israel). 3) Rev 17 & Rev 18 the beast plans, then destroys Babylon. These 3 depictions do the prophets use to signify the day of the Lord strike, and no one describes the missiles any better than Joel 2:1-11. It's not a standing army, but hundreds of 200 mega ton warheads.
