It is not necessary to answer this because you simply just sent me the same message as before my second response. God bless.
Did those Laws & Ordinances lose their potency or currency? Matthew 5:18: "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Some think that Jesus is stating that "heaven & earth" must first pass away before the smallest requirement of the Law be removed forever. However, I believe that Jesus was showing that every aspect of the Law would be fulfilled & then the "heaven & earth" would dissolve: a slight difference. And that means, that Jesus in Himself fulfilled every aspect of the Law, so that by believing in Him, & through the virtue of His Death & Resurrection, the Jew would never be judged & condemned by the Law. They (and us), would be judged by our acceptance of the Gospel of Christ & by a renewed Spirit-filled Life to obey all of God's requirements for us. And these requirements far exceed in moral & spiritual value, than was revealed to Israel in the old Law.
The Prophets spoke of Jesus' Coming, but still there are many prophecies yet to be fulfilled (those for the end times). After these complete, then the dissolution of the "heaven & earth" will be the next on the Divine Agenda.
"A prophet(ess) and preacher have the same required duties." I suppose we would disagree on this aspect as I see that the prophet & the preacher are very different, unless of course, the preacher is gifted in receiving the prophetic Word. A prophet or prophetess would receive God's Word as a particular revelation to bring to the people. It must include more than a rehearsal of what is already known, but a direct Word from God for the future (whether for good or ill). If it doesn't include "the future", then it's not a prophetical utterance. After the Word of God was completed (as we have it now), has there been any prophecy from anyone (except the false prophets, of course), that could add to the Bible? Bearing in mind Revelation 22:18,19?
"His Word is enough to confirm his calling on women to preach." Well, I have yet to find a Scriptural authority for this to happen. Rather, when we come to worship, we have the attendance of Heaven as well. If even the angels observe the order & dignity in our services ( 1 Corinthians 11:10), then what must Heaven observe if there is a woman usurping the Divine Order, & see a woman preaching the Word to a mixed congregation. Can a sister share her testimony, can she minister to other sisters & children or can she assist in whatever way the Lord has gifted her? Of course, she can - she fulfils her position in the Church receiving the appreciation & gratitude of the Church. Blessings.
If I may;
We Must step out of our personal comfort zones and provide love and acknowledgement. A simple smile and hello.. "As I sat here today God placed my attention on you. I just wanted to say hello and to see if there is anything that I could help you with today or talk about." Try very simple open ended questions. Ask if you can get them a coffee or water(if your church offers them).
May I share a personal experience;
I had a similar encounter once. Due to pride and friends being around I dismissed this person. God placed that action upon my mind and heart for weeks. I felt shameful. I kept hoping that I would see this person again so that I could "redeem" myself. One day, out of nowhere, this person appeared again. One of my friends actually made a rude, judgemental, comment about this person and pointed at her as she walked out of the building. I immediately walked away to Run outside of the building. I approached her as she sat in her car. I apologized, first, for "bothering" her. We then had a simple conversation. The result from stepping out of my comfort zone was overwhelming. What I would like to refer to is Hebrews 13:12. At the end of our conversation this woman looked deep into my eyes, grabbed my hands and said "Today, a child is born." She smiled and said "God Bless You" and then left. In this moment I was overcome by a feeling I can only describe as, God or God's presence. Overcome by the Holy Spirit. I learned something that day that I will never forget.
We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us. Always, remember that.
I apologize for a long response but sometimes our actions ARE the answers to the prayer. Does that make sense?
God Bless

They are a great comfort
Ephesians 2:8,9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
I believe that it is by God's Grace through faith alone in Christ's finished Work that brings us salvation & nothing else. But works that FOLLOW faith, is the proof of the reality of that faith. Once works, or anything else, is added to God's Grace through faith, then it is no longer of Grace, but of works, "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." Romans 11:6.
If it was only my human faith, without God's Grace that undergirded & provoked me towards salvation, I would be in a pitiful state accounting that my generated faith alone was sufficient. Of ourselves, faith cannot succeed - we need the whole: God's Grace & Faith without any hint of human contribution towards it. But it may be that that was the intent of your statement. Blessings.
Only bible I trust to study & know it is Gods preserved Words in English.
Thanks for your reply. As Mild Bill stated, your church tradition does not transcend The Holy Bible. Yes, in your church's opinion, I'm a heretic because I believe, as did Martin Luther, in Sola Scriptura. No church gets to interpret The Scriptures for everyone. The Holy Spirit guides us into The Truth.
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."Joh 16:13
Church traditions over the centuries have resulted in a number of unbiblical practices such as
prayer to saints and/or Mary,
the immaculate conception,
transubstantiation,
infant baptism,
indulgences, and
papal authority,
none of which can be justified from The Holy Bible.
Just so you're aware, as a Baptist, I don't believe that baptism saved or will save me, although I was baptized at age 12. By being baptized, I confessed that I had placed my trust in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, The Son of God to be my Savior from sin and death.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Rom 10:9-10
I'm glad that we can discuss these differences in our beliefs and evaluate the reasons why we believe what we believe. I try very hard, to act consistent with The Bible. Sometimes I fail.
(PLEASE stop here with my words, & go NOW & read Matthew 26:36-54),
even though HE KNEW His WHOLE PURPOSE in living in a human body on earth was 4 that very thing He was exceedingly sorrow-filled (or perhaps..anxious about..) Your prayer request helped me, because it wasn't until just now..that I finally re-read it! See, I'd rememered Christ's prayer WRONG! I'd thought He'd prayed that the cup be removed each time with "but nevertheless--not MY will--but THY will be done!"@the end! But instead, Christ only prayed like that ONCE&THEN the following 2 were prayers, Christ EXCLUSIVELY prayed that GOD's will b done...SOLELY! I'm with our Savior-Master (Christ)--I don't particularly look fwd 2 God's will4my life at all points either, LOL! however, thanks2YOUR prayer request/need, I have the correct outlook (4 now)! 1--U caused me2FINALLYb corrected in a CRUCIAL prayer modeling lesson (we are2 model ourselves after whatever Christ DID/taught US 2DO) & in 200 years whatever is troubling us2day..SURE won't be 200 years from now! Hopefully we'll be in 'Heaven or asleep in Christ''s salvation, ready to wake and go to heaven at the world's end? Well, I hope this actually helps YOU..because YOUR prayer request has done a LOT of GOD's teaching 4 ME! In ALL graveness, though, I don't know WHAT is troubling you! But GOD is the MAKER of physicians, He CAN heal your anxiety, and bless others through your healing, or, as He has CRUCIALLY helped me--bless others through your pre-healing. Either you will be healed now, or in Heaven you will be QUITE MORE than HEALED! Thanks to Christ, EVERYONE'S sins were paid-in-full for! Now all we have to do is OBEY Him, His Dad & His/our Father's Holy Spirit! As a little toddler obeys his mum's rules, letUsObeyGOD'sLaw
I looked into this for you. The word "corn" in Deuteronomy 7:13 is the Hebrew word transliterated "dagan". The BDB definition is "wheat, cereal, grain, corn". With a Strongs number of H1715 "properly grain".
Hope that helps. God Bless.
I don't know who wrote or said it first, but I think when I was a young woman, some guy (or perhaps another woman, who knows?! LOL!) wrote, in regards to worrying about things of and in this life and fretting upon them:
"Something to the effect of, if it won't matter like 200 years from now...."
Which is to comfort us all in helping us to remember that: This is a temporary problem/worry/legitimate cause of anxiety (or no?).... In 200 years it won't matter. You won't be "matter" anymore--purely spirit, and hopefully in Heaven, and there WILL BE NO anxiety THERE!!! ALL will be good, and merry, and blessings, and healing, and good-in-feeling there! "No more tears," but sans the Johnson's & Johnson's baby shampoo commercial [from my youth]!
Your prayer request reminded me of this! I have been fretting and crying over things of this life. I will continue to do so when I forget this little lesson here, LOL!
But you and I BOTH KNOW that, in this world, there are MANY causes for one of GOD's beautiful ladies (named Ann!!!) to be anxious! But somewhere, it is written: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." I guess Paul is correct (LOL), i THINK, THOUGH, that the ONLY thing that will comfort/cure your anxiety is reading the Holy Bible scriptures needed. GOD&Google(LOL) CAN lead you 2 those helpful scriptures. Pray in earnest now 2 GOD 4 scripture 2 help cure ur anxiety. U may also try Googling Holy Bible verses 4 anxiety (be careful not 2 read the false teachings...just get the scripture addresses & then look them up IN a real KJV Holy Bible). Sometimes just reading NEthing in GOD's word will take u away from "the cares of this world." Pray2GOD2helpU n whatever u or a loved 1 is in need of, too (healing, finances, protection from harm).
The Hebrew word here translated as corn, is done so 37 times in the KJV.
That's what the word meant in 1611.
I wouldn't loose any sleep over that.
Please read 1Cor 7:29, 30 and follow the annotation on the difficult verse 30.
1Cor 7:30. And they that weep, as though they wept not: restraining and moderating their grief by the hope of the life to come. As a matter of fact, it is very difficult for human nature to ignore pain or any adverse circumstance as if nothing happened to him when persecuted, maligned, slandered, when near earthly friends are taken away and etc. Religion will keep us from immoderate grief, and sustain the soul even when in distress nature forces us to shed the tear of mourning.
As though they rejoiced not: Not rejoicing with excessive or immoderate joy; not with riot or unholy mirth; not satisfied with these things, though they may rejoice in them; Not forgetting that they must soon be left; but keeping the mind in a calm, serious, settled, thoughtful state, in view of the fact that all these things must soon come to an end. Oh, how would this thought silence the voice of unseemly mirth!
As though they possessed not: It is right to buy and to obtain property; but it should be held with the conviction that it is by an uncertain tenure, and must soon be left.
The general idea in all these expressions is, that in whatever situation Christians are, they should be dead to the world, and not improperly affected by passing events.
We can agree to disagree in love....
many brought sick, and HE healed them.
If you are not known, who will come to you?
Don't judge the rich or poor, fame or not, rich or not.
Often we misunderstand the depth of meanings.
King is famous , is it not?
LORD is king of the kings, Is he not?
If you are poor, or rich, love and charity is important.
At the sermon on the mountain
Blessed are the poor, there is kingdom of heaven.
The word poor is mistranslated. Poor is beggars of spirit.
what that means is, someone who prays to GOD, which is beggar of spirit.
Someone who searches for higher power then the earth.
This is beggar of spirit.
Someone who goes to temples and churches are beggars of spirit.
Someone who wants to Know GOD, and LORD, and searches for GOD.
is beggar of the GOD's spirit.
It is not dry and cut, it is how we live.
Love is main foundation in begging for spirit.
In love we don't judge others. Only GOD is the judge.
The definition of preaching is the delivery of a sermon or religious address to an assembled group of people, typically in church. A prophet is a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God and a prophetess is a female prophet. Prophetess Deborah judged the children of Israel in the same manner as the men. A prophet(ess) and preacher have the same required duties.
I am a member of a church that is 90-years established. God called a woman to establish and start this church. The pastor I am under is the first male to pastor our church. Prior to him three females pastored this church and he grew up under their leadership and teach the same Gospel message from the same version Bible (King James) as they taught and preached from. I do believe in the order of God and this is why I believe God has called women to preach and pastor. His Word is enough to confirm his calling on women to preach.
If truth be told, once a man, woman, and or child repent of sins, be baptized in the Name of Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and be filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost ( Acts 2:1-4; 36-41) they become preachers (spiritual) when they testify of their new birth experience, which proclaims the salvation plan of the Lord.
Some brethren believe in women preachers (or pastors) and some don't; nonetheless, our hearts focus needs to be on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and winning souls into His kingdom and being rapture ready awaiting Jesus' return for His Church.
God bless you.
When I wrote this:
"Although He HAS and He DOES hear and help and move and CHANGE some things from the prayers of this dead, dog, hear, so AMEN! But I cry, and have SO CRIED, because the LORD's will IS grevious! The Devil's children wear Sheeps' wool&proclaim2B heave-bound, yet be NOT so decieved! 4 ye shall STILL "know them by their FRUITS!" I knowof1&she, as she falsely proclaims sheephood--she tries2weave in deceptions to "up Satan"&"de-bad-ify"him!Flee them if u can,Fam(ily n Christ)!"
