To her question: I understand that she was referring to Revelation 7:3 ff. There would be several views on this portion of Scripture, but to me, if it seems clear in the Bible, then I accept it as given. We're not told how this Seal of God is applied to the foreheads, whether visible or not: likely visible. And then again, it applies to the 144,000 (12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel). Some see this number as referring to the Church, since the purity, indeed the evidence, of any of the tribes, are virtually non-existent today. But if we say that it's the Church being spoken of, then why mention the tribes, & why such a relatively low number of people who are sealed? Again, I believe that this speaks of Israel, as we (the Church) have already been sealed by the Holy Spirit & as I also believe that we will not go through the Great Tribulation & we will not be here in Revelation chap 7, but with the Lord in Heaven.
So the Revelation Seal is one from God placed upon the 144,000 of Israel, whereas the Mark of the Beast, is that mark or name that is required to be put on all those left on Earth so they can serve the Anti-Christ & be able to live. But for how long? As the Wrath of God will soon be poured out on all living on Earth at that time.
she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion:
Donna
You quote Deborah, the judge & prophetess. She was so equipped & called by God to serve. But could she minister in the Tabernacle or its environs? And we could say the same for the other women mentioned, so called of God. Or the Elect Lady or those women at the Tomb: none of these were teachers - we would have to force that meaning into those passages.
So whether concerning the Jewish Temple, Synagogue, or even the Church, the order has always been the same, with the Church given greater latitude, allowing women to minister to children & youth & engage in other services in the Church. Even if I read right up to The Revelation, I don't see any change to this Divine Pattern. How then is God's Word misconstrued or taken out of context? When human sentiment enters into Divine instruction, it is then we fall into error, which then is very often compounded.
Yours In Christ,
I have always been told we are supposed to rejoice when Christians go home.
If our faith was strong enough we would be happy for them because we know they are in a better place.
A place far better than here.
God knew this so maybe did 2 things at once and took them home to a better place and
He showed his lesson to us also.
I'm fully aware of what it says in 1 Corinthians, but, as in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." this would be more of my view of what the word church really means as opposed to the physical building used for worship. I don't read any version of the bible other than KJV, but as per others that are much more learned than myself, the KJV is more accurate. Like in our church, I'm sure the fellowship in your church would be like family, Just a question, would bible study as a group work. Throughout the bible you find that there are a number of women who influenced their fellow man proclaiming Jesus ministry, I've listed just a few.
I do hope this may help
John 4:25-29 Because of the Samaritan woman at the well, many came to believe,
Romans 16:1 "I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:"
Romans 16:3 "Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:"
Acts 9:36-42 40 "But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up."
And I am going to read a page every day and maybe it will help my memory if I read it again.
The Bible tells us that sin will one day be finally eradicated before the new heavens & earth are brought down, when Satan, his demons & his disciples, indeed death & Hell, are finally locked away in the Lake of Fire (Revelation chapter 20): all this tells me that sin, which is the very nature of Satan & his dominion will have no more access in the lives of mankind. I can't see how you or I could have any part in the eradication; if we can't properly deal with our present sin, we have little hope in dealing with the sins of the rest of mankind. But what we can do, is to share the Gospel of Love that brings forgiveness and reconciliation, that some other desperate sinful souls might be spared eternal death.
This is Aaron, Edna's great grandson, again.
Is there an email address that she could use to ask questions? I'm trying to figure out how to make using the discussion function as easy as possible for her. She is fairly inexperienced with using the internet, and I have been receiving her replies, just one so far, and sending those to her myself. Is there was an email address that could be used in the same way as posting a comment? If not, that's ok.
Again, I really appreciate you taking time to answer her question. I think she liked that a lot.
Have a blessed day!
Ephesians! I think of superlatives like Eph 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Here, the opening verses 3-14 enumerate spiritual blessings IN CHRIST.
Verse 6 has this phrase, "To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted IN THE BELOVED."
It ties into vss 12 & 14 "the praise of His glory."
This is all about the richness and vastness of God's marvelous Grace. Grace that He has bestowed on unworthy sinners. Think of it: He does NOT give us what we rightly deserve AND He freely gives us what we in no way deserve. He did not do that for the angels that sinned. This is Grace that glorifies God, a God that keeps the promises He has made over the millennia. Later Paul explains the mystery (used 6 times) that is now revealed to the principalities and powers through the church! Eph 3:9-10.
There's a song that my mother sang many decades ago that ends with these lines:
Holy. Holy. Is what the angels sing
And I expect to help them make the courts of heaven ring
But when I sing redemption's story, angels fold their wings,
For angel never felt the joy that my salvation brings.
Hope this helps.
And the 2 woman at the tomb, The church still haven't started and that was not preaching,
1 Timothy 2:12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. The church is a gathering, a people called out. I think the emphasis here is when gathered ""men and women"" she is to be silent, meaning not to give input to teach. However I believe she can teach other or younger women.
Titus 2:3-5. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
1 Corinthians 14:34-36. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? And please don't take that as a sign of disrespect. I do know a woman in a marriage is supposed to model the bride of Christ. Maybe someone can elaborate on it a bit more. Thank you
Thanks.
Thank you very much for your kind replies brother.
image of his Father.. The name Jesus means (God is saving) through Christ we are given Faith and the Grace to back it up.
Blessings,

John the baptist elaborates on it as well in the same chapter verses 31-33.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. Now it's Jesus who speak what he has seen and heard, Those who receive through the power of the Holyspirit testify of this truth. John 16:12-13. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 4:23. Here Jesus is answering the woman of Samaria giving a lesson on its not where you worship its on how to worship, ""Through the power of the holyspirit"" John 16:14-15. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Maybe someone can elaborate on it further.
1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that WAS NOT FIRST which is spiritual, but that which is NATURAL; and afterwards that which is SPIRITUAL.
1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown (at natural birth) a NATURAL body; it is raised (at Christ resurrection) a SPIRITUAL body (we are delivered into this body the moment we depart our natural body). There is a NATURAL body, and there is a SPIRITUAL body.
John 16:21 A woman (the church) when she is in travail hath sorrows (suffers in the flesh), because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she rememberth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
There are many, many symbols that describe the called out: the elect, the saints, the anointed ones, the church, the temple, the house of God, the trees, the books, the rivers, the streams, the mountains, the house of Israel, the house of Jacob, the chosen, the called, the faithful, the horses, the chariots and many more. When the Spirit causes you to understand the symbols it becomes easier for the Spirit to reveal His truths.
Isaiah 9:5 For every (natural) battle of the (natural) warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this (spiritual battle) shall be with (spiritual) BURNING and FUEL of (spiritual) FIRE.
Isaiah 9:19 and the PEOPLE shall be the FUEL of the FIRE
Isaiah 4:3-6 (vs 4)When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion (another symbol of the called out) and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem (another symbol of the called out) from the midst thereof by the SPIRIT OF JUDGEMENT and by the SPIRIT OF BURNING.
This is what the armies (the ones gone before us) are doing.
