I agree with your thoughts on Christ and His earthly body. I believe you are right but I still find it amazing that He will appear both as a spirit and with His earthly body. How perfect that He being so unique will have retained His fleshly body.

    Sister Jema:

Nothing is happening today than has not been happening now for 2000 years.

At Christ resurrection, HE OPENED the seven seals of Revelation.

For 2000 years wars, pestilence, and famine has PREVAILED on earth.

Christ has divorceded OLD ISRAEL, they were never THE PROMISED SEED of Isaac, Christ was the promised Isaac, the true ISRAEL, from the house of Judah.

The OLD temple is no more, THE NEW TEMPLE was raised THREE DAYS after Christ died on his cross.

Old Israel along with all the other DEAD will be RAISED back to live when the JUDGES of the earth have been gather.

Those judges have to first be harvested,

When harvest, they become the IMAGE OF CHRIST.

This mortal shall PUT ON IMMORTALITY, Christ ONLY hath IMMORTALITY ..... 1 Timothy 6:16

All those already harvested; are already the image of Christ, they have been in the 1000 year: ONE DAY, reign with Christ NOW, some for 2000 years. the parable of the workers in God's vineyard, is representative of this, all CALLED at different hours of the DAY.

All these at present are ministering Spirits, angels of fire. At some point, Christ will resurrect all back to there bodies of flesh and blood, and God will say to the JUDGES; APPEAR, and all the world will see Christ appearing in the CLOUDS OF HEAVEN, his judges, his IMAGE.

2 Kings 6:17 ..... open their eyes, that they may see, And the Lord opened the eyes of the young men, and they SAW, and, behold, the mountain was FULL of horses and chariots of FIRE (our God is a consuming fire) round about......

Everyone, is going to see, some NOW, some LATER.

Don't try to predict TIMES, only God knows, but we can know that it is all just ONE DAY, TODAY the day of salvation.

    God BLESS YOU!

Until Christ has ASSEMBLED all the JUDGES of the EARTH, thing will continue as they are.

    AngelEverett:

Yes there is TWO creations of man.

The FIRST was when he made man out of the dust of the earth and breathed the breath of life into man.

The SECOND is when ALL FLESH and BLOOD died on the cross of Christ.

Three days later a NEW CREATION arose, Christ and his wife, EVE, taken from Christ's rib, bone of Christ's bone flesh of Christ's flesh, NO LONGER living by the breath of life, BUT, LIFE by the SPIRIT of GOD.

    God BLESS YOU!

    I agree Bennymkje,

Jesus stopped reading at the right verse, not reading the rest, as you noted. The day of vengeance will come at His second coming. But in His earthly years, He was the Anointed One to bring the good news of salvation in and through Him to all nations.

    Hello Terrimastalz,

I remember you from a few months ago. Thank you for the reminder to pray for you, your son, and other family members.

Dear Heavenly Father, today we come to You to intercede for Terrimastasz and her family. Please heal the disharmony in her family with three generations living in the same household. Kepp them together in a home and prevent them from needing to move. Help Robert to continue the healing you have begun in him and teach him how to interact with his Mom and Grandma respectfully. Be the buffer between these family members when situations get frustrating and anger rises up. We ask that You will answer the needs of this family quickly and restore this family in relationship to one another and to You and Your Son, Jesus. Strengthen Terri as she is the one "between" generations in this home. Give her wisdom and guidance in what to say and do each day. Transform the hearts of everyone in this family to be more and more like Jesus with each new day. We askk all this of You Father, in the name of Jesus, Your beloved Son. Amen.

"To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."( Luke 4:19) (1 of 2)

Jesus was given a portion for reading."And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,"(v.17) It was as remarkable as Isaiah's passage concerned him, as his closing book where it was clear why he stood in the synagogue of his hometown. He was there to announce the acceptable year of the Lord. The various timscales applied with direct reference to the Son had come a full circle. According to the scriptures written of him there is one aspect to which he said, "Things concerning has an end"."For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end."( Luke 22:37) Number 42 delineates his ministry which is different than the year assigned to him. Thus the year must be reckoned in terms of the Word which was with God in the beginning and eternal nature of Jesus Christ who is the Messiah, describes his ministry, "he Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised," This is in conjunction with preaching. The Sermon on the Mount (Matt.5) is to be seen as the Mission Statement. By the same token His 'woe to you' discourse must be treated as his repudiation of the nation of Israel. "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate." Matt.23:38)

Now he is seated 'down on the right hand of the Majesty on high' upholding all things by the word of his power helps us under the passage from Isaiah better. Is.61:3-7) "And the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn" is yet to be fulfilled.

Dan.12:7 "Time, Times and Half" (2 of 2)

So the silence in heaven for 'the space half an hour' (Re.8:1) is where we need look into. A remnant of Israel shall be allowed to be part of the building work. (Is.28:16).

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,/Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Re.14:6-7) The word of God is tagged by 4 so Gospel outreach whether north south east or west is of the self-same quality So what does the Immanuel factor imply? "And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."(Matt.28:20)This commission was delivered before Ascension. Consequently this half an hour in heaven must be considered part of 'And upholding all things by the word of his power, (He.1:3). In short 42 as a tag is employed to set the temporal events and this necessitate the angel telling John, "But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."
  • Bennymkje - 1 year ago
"Time, Times and Half" (1 of 2)

"And sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished." (Dan.12:7)

The number 42 is familiar to most. "But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months./And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."(Re.11:2-3)

Here we have days and months, which must be considered as having frame of reference to the Son. In the vision of the Woman clothed with the Sun (Re.12:6) we find the same number of days ie., 1260. The woman was called but only the man-child shall be caught up to the throne. The days fall short of 42 months the base line set by the Spirit.

In terms of the temple building the Spirit tells us of the court which is given to the Gentiles. Keeping the promise of God to Abraham, there shall be no difference between the Jews and the Gentiles. Ministry of reconciliation of the Son would see to it. We have however an order first Israel was called but their falling off let the Gentiles come into the fold and "until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in"(Ro.11:25) informs us that the work is going on even now. "The half' is not yet fulfilled.

Thus we have three-fold division Time Times and a half. Time refers to Israel, Times where Israel and the Gentiles are as one.

"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."(John10:16).

So the silence in heaven for 'the space half an hour' (Re.8:1) is where we need look into. A remnant of Israel shall be allowed to be part of the building work. (Is.28:16).

    Hello StuBo

I would like to give some suggestions on memorizing selected Scripture verses. While I am not sure if you are asking for this approach or for the memorizing of large passages of Scripture, I will speak to memorizing key verses. These practices have helped me to memorize verses that I can still quote word for word after several decades.

    1) Read the passage out loud several times throughout the day. By reading out loud you will develop a specific cadence to the words that one does not have when reading it silently.

    2) in a journal, write out the verse by hand and copy the verse over and over again in this journal. The act of writing engages the mind in additional activity that strengthens memory of what is written.

    3) Have another person read the verse out-loud to you often. This uses the brain in a different way than the above two actions and will help you to remember in addition to other actions I mention.

    4) Try to make the verse into a melody that can be sung. This employs additional aspects of brain activity. We remember words to songs so well because of the melodies. If you can play an instrument and play the verse on it as you sing it, that would be an additional boost for memorizing.

    5) Concentrate on the meaning of the verse so that your mind will associate the actual wording with the lesson it teaches.

    6) Concentrate on one verse at a time for a set period of a week or several weeks.

    7) Be patient and not rushed.

I am sure that there are other helps for memorizing Scripture. In all of this, being prayerful about learning the verse and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Scripture memorization should ne done "in the Spirit" and not just by using our minds to learn, but both are needed for a verse to be ingrained in our minds, hearts, and souls.

    Hope this is helpful.

Thank you so much for your reply , I appreciate it . I'm surprised more if us are not commenting on recent events , maybe it's because we are scared we might get it wrong ? I hope that isn't the case :) if I only ever posted when I believed I was 100 per cent right I wouldn't post very often :) . I think Israel will go too far in its retaliation against the Palestinians and this will turn Israel's allies away from it . Israel needs to remember what God says : vengeance is mine , I will repay . Israel is over confident because it is relying on its allies USA , UK etc . Only God can save Israel . Israel will be left isolated because Putin will throw his hand in with Iran and the other muslim countries and this will deter USA etc from getting involved . This has been brewing for years , Putin has been testing the world's response to his aggression , he has poisoned people with chemicals in their own countries , assassinated his enemies in exile , I believe he was responsible for covid and he's invaded Ukraine . What has anyone done about any of these things ? Nothing . He's been testing our response and he's very confident that no one will oppose him . My guess is that he's correct . God will save Israel . What are everyone else's thoughts please ? Thanks again Giannis :) .

    Hello Angel

    Hebrews 1:2

, "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"

The greek text says "centuaries" not "worlds". But again "centuary" is a Hebrewism for "world". I think that Paul means that Jesus created everything in the universe but we can not say anything really about the spiritual world since we don't have any revelation about an angelic genesis.

The verse means that Jesus as a God was the one who ordered the creation of the universe. In any paricular action All 3 Persons participate. In genesis it was The Son who ordered and the Holly Spirit who executed the order. Everything that God does, He does it through His Spirit. That is why the Spirit is often described as the hand or arm of God. Like man uses his hands to do something, God uses the Spirit.

    Hello Jema

Israel will suffer during the end times. In a few words Israel will accept the antichist as the Messiah they are expecting. By that time a union of nations (who?) will rule on earth with its head the antichrist. When the antichrist puts His throne on the Temple (so it is going to be rebuilt) and asks people to worship him as a God, they will realize that he is not the person they were always waiting for. Under the threat to be destroyed totally and having realized that the antichrist is not the Messiah , and with the grace of God, they will turn to Jesus who they had crucified. They will repent and ask for Him. All the other nations by that time in alliance with the beast (the last kingdom, a union of the most powerful nations on earth which will be under the control of antichrist) will surround Jerusalem to destroy it. It is then that Jesus comes to earth with His saints and angels and destroys that army. Now God preserves Israel because He knows that they will accept Jesus in the future, but still they are paying the price of crucifying Jesus, we see that all the time. For 2 thoudand years they had been in a continuous tribulation and persecutions..

By that time the church will already be in Heaven.

This in general. This is how I know it but I don't say I am definitely right.

    Oseas:

The heaven of heavens has already been set up.

They (the new heavens) had to be set up before Christ could reign on earth.

They (the new heavens) had to be set up before the DAY of the LORD could come.

They (the new heavens) had to be set up before the Kingdom of God could come.

The were setup when creation was resurrected as the BODY of CHRIST.

The fourth heaven is YOU, where GOD DWELLS, YOU the house of God, YOU the BODY of GOD.

    God BLESS YOU!

So interesting in Genesis! In Chapter 1:26 - 27 God created man - male and female telling them to replenish the earth, be fruitful and multiply.

Then in Genesis 2v.7 Another account of God creating man. This time the account says He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life making him a living soul.

Not until verse 22 do we have an account of the creation of woman who God began with Adam's rib. Adam taken from the dust - woman taken from man.

So was there two creations of man?

The Bible indeed holds a special place in the hearts of many as a divine source of guidance, comfort, and wisdom. While digital platforms and online resources can be valuable in many ways, they cannot replace the personal and spiritual connection that comes from reading the Bible itself. It's important to prioritize spending time with the actual text, immersing ourselves in its teachings, and allowing it to speak to our hearts. The distractions in the online world are abundant, and it's essential to maintain a clear focus on what truly matters in our spiritual journey. The best advice I was given was "make a friend with your Bible."

A short Sonnet on God is Good

"God Is Good All the Time"

In every dawn's first light, God's grace does shine,

A steadfast beacon through the darkest night.

In trials and in joy, God's love aligns,

A truth unwavering, a guiding light.

Through tempests fierce and tranquil, serene seas,

In every heartache, every joyful chime,

    In life's uncertain, ever-changing pleas,

God's goodness echoes through the sands of time.

In every moment, every breath we take,

We find God's blessings, pure and so divine.

In sorrow's depths or love's sweet, tender ache,

God's goodness evermore, an endless line.

In life's grand tapestry, this truth we find,

God's goodness, constant, both in heart and mind.

I sometimes wonder where religion and Christianity in particular the KJV will be in 100 years time. The emptiness of the digital world, false gods, and empty soulless lives might result in people become more believers in God and Christ. The Bible will grow even more in use, and spiritual life will be more prevalent in peoples lives. Technology is a mixed blessing. The Word will last for ever.

Isaiah 51:16-20 from the King James Version of the Bible is a passage in the Old Testament that contains a message of divine promise, warning, and prophecy to the people of Israel. Here's a brief explanation of the verses:

Verse 16: In this verse, God is speaking to Israel, and He says that He has given His words to Israel to speak, and He has protected and covered them like a sheltering hand. The purpose of this divine intervention is so that God can bring about the creation or restoration of the heavens and the foundations of the earth, and declare to Zion that they are His chosen people.

Verse 17: This verse calls for Jerusalem to wake up and stand strong because it has experienced God's wrath and suffering, represented as drinking from the cup of His fury. Jerusalem has gone through hardship and must now rise and face its challenges.

Verse 18: Jerusalem is depicted as having no one to guide or support her among her own people. There is a sense of abandonment or lack of help from those she has given birth to.

Verse 19: Two significant adversities have come upon Jerusalem - desolation, destruction, famine, and the sword. The verse raises the question of who will comfort or console Jerusalem in the face of these hardships.

Verse 20: This verse describes the dire state of Jerusalem, with its sons weakened and defeated, lying in the streets like trapped wild bulls. The reason for their suffering is said to be the fury and rebuke of God.

In summary, these verses convey a message of God's involvement in the fate of Jerusalem, expressing both divine protection and judgment. It underscores the need for Jerusalem to awaken and take action in the face of adversity.

I have many Bibles. Not just KJV Bible but also have other translations. I do not write in my "good" bibles but happy to markup my more less expensive Bibles.

I am thinking about getting the Cambridge KJV family chronicle bible, I like the illustrations and the print size. Its expensive and I don't know the best way forward on this.

    Comments please.

What is the best way to memeize Bible verse? I would like to remember one or two verses a day.

Also I do have trouble some of the place names and people names. How can I deal with this? I would like to read the Bible KJV in church but trip up over the above two things. Also how best to read the Bible. As the voice of God? How would I do that? Or as a newsreader on the radio.

    Your comments would be welcome.

    Well, Jesse

Holy Spirt states 1John 2:1 children do not sin, & if you do. Indicating their state

Then in 1John 2:12-14 Holy Spirit distinguishes the maturity of the believers, as children who sins are forgiven for His name sake, the young men who have overcome the wicked one & the fathers that have known Him from the beginning, each according to the measure of the Spirit they received in their growth in Christ.

1Pet 5:1 Peter here makes a distinction, in exhorting the elders that are among them

    1John 2:6

Your wrong it does imply this, as plenty of Scriptures confirms this.

Rom 8:29, conformed to the image of His Son,

1John 3:3 pure as He is pure

Gal 2:20 not I but Christ lives in me, only the pure in heart see & experience this on the spiritual level Paul is speaking from here.

we think, talk & walk as He did. 1Cor 2:16 we have the mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5

2Pet 1:3 freely has given us all things,

Luke 10:19 He's not talking about physically hurt here, as the Scriptures give witness too.

Luke 12:5 & that fear is to depart from evil, sin along can hurt us.

Col 3:10 Ephesians 4:23,24 the renewing of our minds in the knowledge after the image of Him that created him,

"the new man", is the work of Sanctification of the Spirit, bringing us into ever increasing measures of growth to maturity in Christ, the divine nature, fruits of the Spirit & ultimately being born again of the Incorruptible Seed,

    your comparisons paragraph

you end with "how are you going to walk differently? You answered your own question

quoting you "I DON'T always in the human perfectly follow" one's not abiding in the Vine & according to this Scriptural statement, one has transgress against the Light, which the Spirit declares in the contest of these Scriptures is that one is still a child, for the young men have overcome the wicked one & the fathers have likewise.

Last par; Yes, this is the heart of the Father in sending His Son, Christ being the first born among many brethern

    Time, Times and half

"But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months./And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."(Re.11:2-3) Here we have days and months which must be considered as having frame of reference to the Son. "until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."(Ro.11:25) Thus we have three fold division Time Times and a half. Seventy weeks where the command number 7 is used to indicate the fulfillment aspect of divine Will. The Immanuel factor applies to each. 1) to finish the transgression 2) to make an end of sins 3) to make reconciliation for iniquity etc., "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."(Dan.9:24)

    Finishing the race well.

I recently heard a short clip from Voddie Bauchum on two people who died. Apparently they both involved tragic circumstances; with the first person receiving accolaides related to memorable moments in their lives and the second person who was murdered a review of her godly life followed by scripture reading. The difference between the two was the first person was not a believer.

Finishing the race and receiving the prize is a daunting task; and scripture makes it clear that some at least make it to heaven as through the fire. When Jesus stated "let the dead bury their own dead"; however ( Matt. 8:22); He wasn't mincing words. Ungodly people who are not eulogized by the truth aren't doing anyone any favors. True; in a funeral stating that a person showed no fruits of repentance and; barring some unknown last minute conversion is in hell wouldn't go too well and perhaps there are better ways to present such an argument at a later date. Such situations should make a believer think carefully if they will attend such an event; no matter how much the family may be offended in our absence. Whether someone is remembered as kind; courteous; witty to their friends and family members doesn't mean a hoot when it comes to eternal salvation and security in Christ. Of course those who PROFESS Christ should they be honored if indeed they were mean; stingy or had sinful LIFESTYLES which the Lord Himself says disqualifies them from entering the Kingdom that should be considered as well. ( 1 Cor. 6:9).

Whether we should say something or remain silent in such a situation is determined by the individual circumstance; we should prayfully consider it before entering such a situation. As a Pastor; we have a heavy duty and responsibility to uncompromisingly proclaim the truth; whether or not we are considered social outcasts. We need to hold to standards and make it clear before entangling ourselves in such an event so as not to dishonor God.

Daniel Ch 8 V 23-25 , the peace that destroys many , its nuclear weapons , all nations are afraid of them , they create a false peace , people don't want war because they fear nuclear escalation . Putin knows this , Russia and Iran , once they get involved in the conflict in Israel , all of Israel's allies will leave them , abandon them . Israel has put a lot of confidence in its allies and their nuclear weapons but , no one wants a nuclear war especially not against Russia . Israel will be alone , undefended by humans . Israel has to learn to not put it's trust in humans , only God can and will save Israel . When it looks as if Israel is done for , surrounded by enemies and with no earthly allies , that's when Christ will return to defend Israel and destroy it's enemies . Tell everyone , comfort your friends and family with the Word of Truth , don't be afraid :) .Christ is coming !!!!!
