    Hi AyinRaah.

Are you referring to this verse?

Exodus 6:3 (KJV) And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Corinthians 13:8 is where it is written. Corinthians 13 is a great chapter on love/charity.

    God Bless.

"I know thy works, and tribulation, and pouertie, but thou art rich, and I know the blasphemie of them which say they are Iewes and are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan."

Clearly, Iesus says here very clearly, those who say they are Iews, but are not. Why do people have such a hard time understanding this? Iesus came for his sheepe no? But says, some of you are not real Iews. When a canaanite woman came to Iesus for healing, he said, DOGS ARE NOT WORTHY OF MY SHEEPS CRUMBS. Right there, he called them DOGS. He also says that there is no difference between the Greek, and the Iew. Well we all know that the original Greeks in those days were ARYANS... Get a clue

"Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion, I recognize more profoundly than ever the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian, I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice."

Why do we blame the Government for our own behavior? We site racism, Abortion, Same sex Marriage, slavery ect... We Legalized these sins and and close our eyes to the sin of hatred and Division. Since some of these sins is Glossed over and some legalized, YOU AS A CHRISTIAN CANT PLACE THE BLAME ON THE WORLDS GOVERNMENT, WHEN GODS LAW SHOULD BE WRITTEN IN YOUR HEART.

Take Daniel Daniel,Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men didn't abandon God in Babylon. They were in a foreign land and so are you.

The difference is we help build this country the way it is, "" ALL OF US""

King David I know he had his own sins as we all do but his heart was right with God, ""a repented heart""

He was a great king when it comes to leading a nation in the statutes of Gods laws. ( HE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD ALL HIS DAYS )

Do you think if he was our president we would be a better nation? Don't we have an advantage on that Era? ( We have the Holyspirit in us to direct our Lives individually to form a nation barring fruit.

    Who's Governing you?

My take is that Jobs wife was giving him bad advice, wanting to put an end to the suffering. She didn't have the answers and if I'm not mistaking Job never got an answer either. Never knew what was going on behind the scene.

And no one was born righteousness but Jesus. He was a quickening spirit. ""the second Adam""

The first Adam was a living soul, we come into this world a son of Adam. That's why we have to be born again, ""Meaning born from above"" Then we will be born of that life giving spirit.

Romans 8:11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. This is done by the baptism of the Holyspirit.

What hurts the Church today is the apostasy, The things we suffer to enter the Church and draw people away from the truth.

There are people in the Church that think we have to prepare the way for Christ return. Some abandon the truth for their on agenda.

The Star of David, or in Hebrew, "Magen David" (Shield of David) is not in Scripture. It's use today is as a symbol of Jewish identity. It had its roots much earlier in Jewish mysticism whereby David's shield (a five pointed star) was said to hold special powers against evil spirits & used by Muslims as the 'Seal of Solomon' - wearing it as a protective amulet against evil.

Only after the 17th Century AD, it became a six pointed star & the official seal of many Jewish communities & a general sign of Judaism. So, it definitely has no Scriptural warrant or mention but merely a Jewish emblem for today.

A Jew would celebrate Purim & do so joyfully as he is brought into remembrance of the great deliverance of the Jews by the Hand of God, through His servant, Esther. As a Christian, I would have no need to celebrate this event but only to bear it in mind for historical understanding & of the working of God in the affairs of men. My special event is when I break bread in fellowship with the saints, in remembrance of my great deliverance from the depths of sin & captivity in Satan's domain.

Are you referring to Leviticus 13:45-59 where the mention of "warp & woof" is in several verses? If so, this whole chapter is devoted to the disease of leprosy, if it happened to appear amongst the children of Israel.

The verses prior to verse 45, describe the leprae bacteria that is found in the skin or scalp of the diseased person. From verse 45, it's the disease that is noticed in the person's clothing. So if it was found in the clothing, whether linen, woollen or of skin material, that garment was to be burned. So the mention of "warp & woof" in the garments, signifies the basic structure of the garment, that of its weaving of the thread: it is the direction of the weave of that particular garment. The "warp" threading runs lengthwise, and the "woof" threading runs across the garment. This, to me, shows how close an examination had to be made to detect any evidence of leprosy, as if any evidence escaped the priest, then the community would be at risk. And so we see our present distress of having to mask up, be checked out & quarantine ourselves in this Covid pandemic, just as the leper had to do in those early days - these were God's instructions to properly & carefully deal with diseases or plagues.

And a further note about "warp & woof", I've learned that this term is also used in this way: For example, "The Constitution & Declaration of Independence are the warp and woof of the American nation", denoting its essential foundational base of the country, or the thread which holds it together.

I hope that explains it better for you, though if you meant 'wood & warp' that you saw in some other Scripture, then I don't know of any such phrase, & my apologies for rambling on.

When someone languishes, it means that he becomes so weak or feeble in strength that if he happens to be bed-ridden he only grows worse because it & the prolonged inactivity. But David proclaims that even in that pitiful condition, the Lord will give him the necessary strength & bring him to full health.

And this David spoke as applying to the person who "considers the poor". So this person is indeed blessed of the Lord, as he places the unfortunate & struggling person before himself. We could even see how the Lord reached out to us, both poor & languishing in spiritual darkness, but a Saviour came by for us, not regarding his Own Life but for those who needed help & salvation from the pit of sin & hell.

  • S Spencer something we shouldn39t forget on 2 Timothy 4:22 - 4 years ago
Here's something would save us a lot of time when we minister lost, whether using scripture or not, We have the tendency to set aside what brought us to the truth,

Can a person feel the way you do or see what you see if he have a different spirit than you? Why do we use reasoning so often rather than scripture? Why not lead them to Christ for a filling of what you have in you, Once the Lord opens their eyes maybe they will see what you do and hear what you hear. As Jesus said my sheep here my voice.

Romans 8:7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

1 Corinthians 2:13-16. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Sanctification comes after Salvation. Tbank you

    Here's a few George.

Ephesians 6:4. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Proverbs 22:6. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:15. Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Interesting. Where have you seen Nathan used in John 14:8-9? I have always known this to be Phillip by what I've read. Checking a site with 26 different versions of the Bible they all had Phillip.

Was this a certain Bible you saw the other name there? Thanks David.
