    Hi Alex Palace,

Is Jesus Michael the archangel? I have heard this from the Jehovah's Witnesses. Some say the angel of the LORD were manifestations of Jesus before His incarnation, but Jesus is not an angel.

Michael is the only angel specifically called an archangel, Jude 1:9. Michael is the chief prince who stands up for Israel, Daniel 10:13,21 Daniel 12:1. We see that Michael and his angels battle the dragon/Satan and his angels and cast them down to earth out of heaven with no place found for them anymore in heaven for them, Revelation 12:7-8.

We see in 1 Thessalonians 4:15 that when Jesus returns it will be announced by a shout, by the voice of the archangel, I understand that as Michael.

Jesus is the Son of God, our Lord who gave his life and shed His blood for us. Jesus's name is above all, Ephesians 1:21 including Michael. At the burning bush, it was the angel of the LORD, it does not say what angel it was.

Heb. 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

My understanding Jesus is not any kind of angel, Michael was probably the angel of the LORD we see in the OT because Michael is the chief prince of Israel and Michael will announce Jesus's second coming.

    God bless,

    Brother Dan:

I am not confused by 1 John 5:7, but you have to included 1 John 5:8 to come to truth.

There are three that bear record in heaven and three that bear record on earth, that makes SIX that are ONE.

The three that bear record in heaven is GOD: God is the Father, God is the Word and God is the Holy Ghost, they are just different references to GOD, they are ONE.

The three that bear record on earth is CHRIST: Christ the Spirit, Christ the water, and Christ the blood, they are just different references to CHRIST, they are ONE.

God bears record in heaven, Christ bears record on earth, TWO not THREE, otherwise it is SIX that are ONE.

    God BLESS YOU!

So does God look like humans or not?

OK, God is spirit, but don't spirits have a form, a specific appearance of their own? Yes spirits can take any form they like, but again don't they have an image, a form of their own? Spirits are a fluid thing? Clouds or something like that? I don't really think so.

My belief is that He does look like people, or better we were made to look like Him. God gave something of His own when He created Adam, something that is a part of His Spirit, when He breathed into Adam's nostrils. So man was created in His image. Spiritually yes, but not physically? Of course physically as well. Why not? Why only spiritually but not physicaly? There isn't any reason for not making us similar to Him. To be honest I can not imagine something without a form, like a "mountain" or a "cloud" sitting on a throne. A cloud surrounded by other clouds, the angels. Something that looks like those weird looks of aliens in science fiction movies. I want to believe that in Heaven we will look at His beautiful eyes, His beautiful face(the most beautiful face in the universe), hearing His beautiful voice, feeling the touch of His beautiful hands, walking side by side with Him. God honored us by making us in his image, both in the outside and the inside. This is how I believe it is.

I do thank you for your comments. I didn't mean to offend you with that question but to me its really that simple.

If we don't believe that God preserved His Word for ever like He promised us in His Word, then what is our final authority?

The Word of God has to be our final authority, but if its modern version bibles then which one would that be? They are all different. And how can we trust a bible that calls Jesus Christ a liar?

The Truth does matter One eighty, I have shown many posts that has nothing to do with my thought system, and surely not my opinion but has shown modern version bibles to be doctrine that is not sound doctrine, but corrupt doctrine.

You said "Of course truth matters; I don't think anyone would be on this site if it didn't". There is much deception in this world today, ( Mt 7:15) "false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing". ( Mt 24:11) "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many". And in ( 2 Cor 11:13-15) The word (ministers) speaking of Satan's minsters in v15 are disguised as Christian teachers and pastors. The word (transformed) is #3345; it means to transfigure or disguise.

You have a desire to teach peace, that's a great thing for one to teach in this time period we live in today, that will help many.

I have a desire to show the Truth One eighty, and there are a few subjects that are very important to show the Truth in the Word of God by using Scripture. The inspired preserved Word of God is one of those subjects, And as I'm sure you can see there is deception in almost everything today.

The reason I say "God Bless all who seek His Truth" is that it truly seems today that many people ignore, or just push aside the Truth like it has no meaning when it is presented straight from the Word of God. Some of that on this subject would be caused by a belief and trust in modern version bibles.

Again I did not mean to offend you.

God Bless you and all who seek His Truth, (and everybody else) for One eighty.

God's commandments are EVERY WORD that proceeds out of his mouth, not just TEN written in stone.

1 Timothy 4:10 ....... who is the SAVIOUR of ALL MEN, specially those that BELIEVE......

1 Timothy 4:11 These things COMMAND and TEACH.

How many BELIEVE these WORDS of Christ and FOLLOW those words.

The word of God contains about 750,000 words, they all APPLY as a commandment.

Adam, hey.. one thing to keep in mind concerning the pharisee view of the sabbath. Jesus didn't "violate" the sabbath, he did however, violate their man made restrictions added on to the commandment. He intentionally walked through the discouraging "traditions" that they were requiring people to obey, causing it to be a burden rather than the blessing it was intended to be.

PS: I forgot to tell you that I do use Bible Hub, in fact, I used it when I did my comparison studies. When the commentator, for example, compared a verse in the KJB and the NIV I would go to Bible Hub to be sure it actually said what the commentator said. They were right 95% of the time but there were a few times that they were incorrect. Bye again Ann

Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I will reply soon with my studies. The verses you listed do tell the prophecy of this happening and I have a thought of why the world is so taken with these new versions. It isn't so much they can't understand the KJB, as they are to lazy to study for themselves, as God admonishes us to do. They would rather make excuses and let man do it for them. It's silly, also, since the KJB was written on an 8th or 9th grade level, that they "can't read it or understand it." I believe since the devil couldn't tempt most Christians to not read their bible he introduced these modern versions to do it this way and it is very successful. Also, people on YouTube are asking the YouTuber what version they should use, some even saying all the different versions are confusing to them and making it hard for them to choose, so they go to man, to help them deside instead of asking God.

Would you mind telling me your testimony in becoming a Christian? I am very interested.

Now on to study. I'll talk to you later. Have a blessed day. Ann

    Hello GiGi, 1/2

Some comments about God. I will repeat some of your comments and add some more, what I understand of Him.

God is invisible. No man has ever seen God, nor he can because they will die.

So do we know anything about God or not, or do we know God or not? Has anybody gone up there and saw Him, and His surroundings, has anybody talked to Him face to face to tell us something about Him? How does He really look like? How is His character? What is He like really?

Although God has revealed to people in the OT many things about Himself, it seems those were not enough for us to have a relatively good knowledge of Him. Only some general things about Him.

In John 1:18 Jesus says,, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him"

So it was Jesus who told us everything about God. Actually everybody who gets to know Jesus, he actually gets to know Father as well, since they are completely indentical, in character, power, nature ..., everything. Like Jesus said to Phillip the one who sees Jesus has seen God the Father Himself. Of course Jesus doesn't mean here the external appearance of God.

There is a very nice verse in Hebrews 1:2-3

"2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds

    3. Who (Jesus) being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"

Jesus is the visible brightness of the invisible glory of God, He is the express image of the invible image of God. After all that how can one claim that Jesus is not God?

But how is God's external appearance. The truth is that we don't know. Some say His is like a man, taking into account some descriptions in the Bible. Others say that He only uses such expressions for Himself to make us feel comfortable with Him.

As usual better insight than I have given. Probably better for you to continue this more than me.

I thought about you; actually talking to an old lady in my church who apparently was told from a very young age that she was gifted in teaching. She went on to have many adopted kids and apparently teach some Sunday school stuff like you did.

Hope your relative is doing better than last week (Vivian I think her name was).

If Jesus returned to earth today and did healings and works on the Sabbath, would we accuse Him of violating this commandment?

Because that's what Pharisees did in Jesus's time, and Jesus had a response to that which was interesting. Did Jesus actually violate that commandment? No, and He explained why, including Mark 2:27. He said he didn't come to abolish the law but fulfill it. Notice it wasn't other commandments He was accused of breaking, just that one. It should be no surprise that Christians have different takes on this and it doesn't automatically mean each has impure motives. Picking grain or helping an elderly person on Saturday seems very different in severity than committing adultery. So, I think well meaning Christians who only follow 9 of the 10 commandments will be judged fairly, and I think Christians who follow 10 of 10 commandments will be judged fairly. God knows our heart.

The sabbath commandment is a little bit in question based on what Jesus said and did during that time. Had this not been included in the Bible, I think 10 of 10 commandments would be seen as equal. I personally try to honor the sabbath, but am not 100% clear on what 'work' is sometimes. For example some may view typing a comment as a 'work' and some may not. I also think that being too consumed with analyzing this if it results in losing focus on following Jesus would defeat the purpose. We are to obey Jesus, but not like pharisees. That is my opinion. God bless.

    Jimbob,

Pg 2: since the page I was just writing was submitted without any intention of submitting at that time.

To continue: Of course truth matters; I don't think anyone would be on this site if it didn't.

God bless you, all who seek His Truth; AND all who don't, for THEY need His blessings in the same manner. Let us continue to pray for our perceived enemies whom we perceive as going against the Word of God. Let us do so, so that they can become our friends.

    Peace
  • SolaScrip - In Reply - 1 year ago
Yes and don't forget Matt. 5:19-20 which not only states that those who obey and teach the 10 Commandments will be considered greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, but also states that our righteousness must 'exceed' that of the scribes and Pharisees of that day. Sadly, today's modern pastors and preachers don't even come close.

The teachers of the Law in Jesus' day taught the 10 Commandments but didn't follow any of them ( Matt. 23:1-3), but our woeful excuse for teachers today teach that we should NOT keep God's Law - that it is some form of sin to do so.

What a shame. They shall in 'no way' enter into the Kingdom of Heaven as they teach that those who obey will be, heaven forbid, sent to hell by God ... 'for obeying Him.'

They are given a massive stage and a forum to reach many, many people and do they feed them? No, they do not. They poison them with lies of the devil and lead hundreds of millions, if not billions, to their destruction.

  • One eighty - In Reply - 1 year ago
    Blessings Jimbob,

I'm going to refrain from answering your question on whether I believe the Word of God. But I will say that I don't believe anything the ego speaks.

Please understand that I feel no need to defend modern bible versions, nor the KJV for that matter. If one or the other is true, it needs not my defense, for the Spirit is Truth and He needs NO defense. Truth Is.

Nor do I want to fall into the egocentric trap of attacking your thought system, as it would be a show of disrespect to a brother whom I desire to love with the Love of God; for there is no other Love.

My desire is to teach peace. To have peace, one must teach peace to learn peace; there is no other way. I'm slowly learning that attacking another's system of thought does not bring peace to my mind. My sole desire is for healing: not to approach others with the mindset of having to prove something

    "Momsage - in Reply

May I ask, do you set aside Saturday as the sabbath as the 4th commandment says? I am not part of an denomination that worships on Saturday."

Yes, I set aside Saturday as the Biblical Sabbath and treat it much differently than any other day that I worship according to Gen. 2:2-3 and many other passages in Scripture, including Jesus' definitive teachings of the 10 Commandments and His keeping of them in alignment with 1 Jn. 2:6.

I'm not part of any organized denomination as I have found that very few, if any, align their doctrines accurately with the Bible. I believe the ONLY way to find Truth in Scripture is to study it diligently on our own and pray for guidance via the Holy Spirit.

Regardless of what anyone believes, when one does that, they come to very different conclusions about what the Bible teaches concerning most of the main doctrines of modern mainstream churches today. That alone should lead most to want to find out for themselves what God actually teaches in His Word.

"I honestly believe that in the end times God's true believers will use the KJV and worship, maybe even in secret, on Saturday. (not prophesying, just wondering :))"

I believe we are living in that time now. It is difficult to live by the 10 Commandments in this day and age, but it is not impossible as nothing is impossible with God and with strong faith and conviction. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that True Christians will have it easy, at any point in history.

    Jordyn,

I'm not sure why you are so confused regarding 1 John 5:7.

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

The verse states (3) three bear record in heaven. Not 2, and Not 4.. but 3. Easy to understand.

God loves the meek, the humble, the poor and the trodden down. He wants these simple people to read and understand His message because they will inherent the Kingdom.

I will leave you with this verse my friend. Titus 1:15 "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled."

    Blessings,

Before we continue, I'm hoping you will clarify some things:

First, I'm a bit confused whether to address you as Mewol or Merete.

Second, I don't wish to deceive you or anyone that I teach anything on youtube. I think maybe I've heard the term "Sasha Stones", but I have no awareness of what it is.

Third, it will be helpful to everyone on this site, including you, if you, at the beginning of any comments, address the specific entity you are communicating with; unless of course, you are addressing your comments to everyone in general who visit here.

Please excuse me if I've misrepresented myself in any way, as it was unintentional.

With this being said, while I believe the Holy Spirit speaks through God's Creation as HE sees fit, He is ultimately the ONLY Therapist. Being the Mind of God, Who is Perfect Love, He is the Answer.

In addition to this; please consider that the only way we will obtain the peace of God that passes understanding, is through complete forgiveness; not as the world sees forgiveness, but that of Christ. Yet do not be deceived, given the the condition of our state of mind, this will appear to be a long and trying journey. There are rewards though, traveling along this road, and unspeakable ones when we awaken to the perfect Love of God, finding the reality of our Self, in His Kingdom.

If you are inspired to have a dialogue with me or others on this site, please do so. I'm confident they will speak lovingly and respectfully, while not sacrificing their thought system in any way, unless of course one freely chooses to do so.

Peace be with you my perfect equal!

Thank you for your reply, I am so grateful for your answer. I agree with what you say about the mind. I am now listening to your first and second masterclass on youtube and I find this knowlwdge very powerful indeed. This teaching is totally new to my ears and I consider myself a truth seeker. I work in the spa and wellness industry and meet people 1:1. Any suggestion to how I can be of service to them and contribute to wake up to the truth? Almost everybody wants to be fixed by a therapist and forget the why they are off pist. How to help them to help themselves, that goes for me too.

    Kind regards

One eighty thank you for the comment.

It's really simple One eighty, do you Believe the Word of God?

God promised He would preserve His Word in ( Ps 12:6-7) The Word of God is Truth, God preserved His Word in 1611 in the KJB.

The words of the LORD are pure words.

Every word of God is pure ( Proverbs 30:5-6) (EVERY) WORD, (EVERY) WORD of God is pure.

In ( John 14:23) Jesus said "If a man love me, ((he will keep my words)); and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him".

There a condition with Jesus and the Father coming unto a person and making their abode with him, what is it? ((he will keep my words))

    Keep His words.

Then if we look at the other side of it.

( Jer 23:36) Tells us "for ye have (perverted) the words of the living God" (perverted) is #2015; it means to change.

All the modern version bibles have changed the words of the living God!

( Jer 23) is prophecy for today about pastors that feed God's people ( Jer 23:1-2) and scatter His flock.

What do pastors feed Gods people? The Word of God!

Then we see ( 2 Tim 4:3-4) Where is the doctrine at today that's not sound doctrine?

Those who do not endure sound doctrine are those who choose the bibles that (change) or pervert their words, turning from the truth.

So there would be (perverted) scripture meaning (to change) the words, these would not be sound doctrine, this is also all modern version bibles. Then we see ( 2 Tim 3:16) "scripture that is inspired by God", the KJB.

Truth is what matters One eighty.

Again thank you for your response.

God Bless you and all who seek His Truth.
  • Jimbob - In Reply - 1 year ago
Momsage thank you for your kind words and for your comment. Its good to have another KJB believer on this site, you are very much welcomed here. It is really sad that so many people including pastors are using modern version bibles today, that is a prophecy being fulfilled ( 2 Tim 4:3-4) v3 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;"

v4 says "And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables". They turn from the truth?

( John 17:17) "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth". They turn from the True Word of God, the KJB!

( Ps 119:89) "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven".

That means the Word of God will never change! Yet every modern version bible does (change) the words.

There's a site that you might really like, it shows patterns that only God could have been in control of in translating the KJB, and the KJB ONLY.

Search (Truth is Christ) on youtube and watch some of the videos, it proves the KJB is the True Inspired Word of God.

This will be a really good tool for you to use in Bible study if you want to compare Bibles, it called (Bible Hub).

I do look forward to seeing you post some of your future Bible studies on the KJB.

God Bless You and all who seek His Truth.

To end, let's consider how we can praise God

    1 Timothy 1:17

"Now unto the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."

May IMMORTAL should be the next attribute we post on.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 1 year ago
On the mount of transfiguration He gave a few of His disciples a peek at His glory and they were astonished, drew back, and fell down to the ground. Just that peek stayed with these apostles for the rest of their lives, as did Paul's encounter with the Resurrected and glorified Christ.

No one can see God and live, the Word says. But we will behold God with our eyes in the face of Christ forever in the life to come. And that will be completely satisfying for us. Seeing Jesus is seeing God and also seeing that He became man for our salvation. God and Man in one Person forever. Hebrews tells us to fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. We keep our eyes on Jesus by knowing Him through the intake of His Words in Scripture.

Richard, thank you for participating with me on this topic of our Great God. He is so worth studying and knowing more deeply. Let us press on to know Him more and more.
