Someone once mentioned to me that Jesus was not born into sin. But since Mary and Joseph were born into the world, they were born into sin, even if they never committed sinned. Doesn't that still mean that both Mary and Joseph were of a sinful nature? And wouldn't that mean that Jesus being born into the world, would be born into sin or born to have a sinful nature even though He is God?

    Verse 22

Here is the correct understanding of Jesus position . As mediator on behalf of all of us .

We would all be toast with out Jesus Acting on our behalf . No one can approach God . Without Jesus , he Is intercessor as well as Saviour .

Much more could be said . Martha got it right .

We should be as Christ. Loving one another , without covetousness, not looking unto others things .Doing things out of love not for vain glory !We are to be as Christ. Always humble, looking unto him. that we worship as the son of God. So, how can we do these things if we are not like one another. We should always except one another as Christ excepts us . We as brother and sisters should always remember what He has done for all of us!
  • Fred Scanlan - In Reply on Philippians 2 - 5 years ago
We start out as a child , we except the word for what it is! As we mature and live our life we carry his word with us. I carried a bible most of my life. I still have a very short memory, and have difficulty remembering chapters and verses. So., what I do is try to apply certain things that happen in life to his words. There is nothing that will happen to you, that is uncommon to man. You will soon find out that Satan does not like anyone excepting Christ. This world is his place , this to you will find out. The 3 words I always, always remember, is when He says " Do Not Be Afraid"

Understanding his love for us, would be an eternity of learning. That is why He loves us so much !So. so. much. We have but a short time here to learn these things . God bless, keep up your study. You will only do nothing less than grow in him.

Cathy, I just respond to your question here only, as you've asked a similar question a couple of times. I can see that this issue is troubling you a lot & it is important. When I read about 'forgiveness' in the Bible, whether of God's forgiveness of us or us forgiving someone else, it speaks of an act of love that demands no further repercussions from us. Just as God Who forgives us of our sins when we come to Him in faith because of Jesus' Sacrifice, God's forgiveness then requires that He no longer remains angry with us & that He no longer holds our many sins as still accountable before Him. In other words, when God forgives, He treats us as clean, innocent of all crimes & fully acceptable to Him into His family.

But does God forget? He being God, cannot suddenly have the thought of us just having wronged Him, be obliterated from His Mind - that wouldn't make sense. So, His forgiveness will make us not guilty before Him but not release His Mind from knowing that we were & still are sinners. Even of Jesus when He walked on Earth, it was said of Him in John 2:24,25, "But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men; and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man." Many people began to believe in Him because of His miracles, but still He did not "commit Himself to them" (or, He didn't put His trust or confidence in their good words about Him), because He knew the true condition of their hearts.

In yours & our situation, we are told to forgive one another & so we should, so that we demonstrate a true heart's response to someone else's wrong against us based on the love of Christ in us. But we need to be prudent, knowing that our hearts are prone to doing evil, & so in our forgiveness of someone else, we remain cautious (i.e. we fully accept that person into our hearts but careful if there happens to be signs of a recurrence of such acts against us). We must forgive but we remain cautious, remembering what we all are.

Our personal relationship with Christ gives us individuals power to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Phil 4:13 so we give no authority to the enemy to steal our joy or love or peace. Your own blossoming in fruits of the Holy Spirit Gal 5:22 can give you wisdom for your personal journey to defeat all attempts from the evil one and those that do evil. James 1:5. I personally believe Jesus taught us to have less of an eye for an eye old testament mind set to the fulfilling of the law in love so we each in our own spirit are stronger in our armor for our own sake. Eph 6:10-18.

Hello Christian brethren, I am in need of G-d's Divine Direction, Protection and Intervention in my immediate life's situation. I do not know what to do but to cry out to G-d and to ask for His Loving, Compassionate Help and Assistance. I need G-d to protect me from being oppressed and tyrannized by unreasonable enemies. I thank you in advance for your prayers and bless those who bless me. Blessings to all G-d's Elect and Chosen Ones in these Last Days of Noah. I thank You Father G-d in advance for all that You have done in my life and are doing and are currently working on to bring Glory and Honor to Your Holy Name. I pray to serve and to minister to others soon how You saved and delivered me out of all my troubles so that others can come to know You and the great steadfast love You have for Your Creation. I love You Abba Yah and I love my neighbor as myself. I have learned from my G-dly Discipline that You are to be Feared and Obeyed. I only desire to do Your Will and to be pleasing in Your sight, so can You please make and mold me in the image of Yahawishi so that I am beautiful to You.

Verse 9: ... and there is no new thing under the sun.

I don't understand this, it must be abstract. There are new things made by man every day, it must mean that there are no new earth elements being made or no new things like wind, fire, water etc being made?

Melinda, so in your opinion, we have already had 7 plagues prior to the Spanish Flu and Covod 19? And if so, would the Spanish Flu and the Covid be 1 and 2 of the coming 7 plagues in Revelation?

When you study the word soul, Hebrew (Nephesh) and Greek (psuch). Nephesh in Genesis 2:7 is used as a living being (Adam). This gives us the meaning of a soul. Now the word Nephesh (Soul) is also any part of the whole being. Such as the breath, the thoughts, the desire, feelings, etc. Like David in Psalms 42 uses soul many times to express longing and desire.

In " 1 Thessalonians 5:23, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Paul is expanding on this idea that our whole being in all aspects is right before God. In fact the first part of the verse he explains this by saying "sanctify you wholly". So in a long way yes Paul understood the nature of man as a collective being with separate attributes, living, thinking, and doing.

You should find the "Become A Christian" link on this website and compare your experiences with what it says on the total link.

John 3, where Jesus is speaking to the Pharisee, Nicodemas: Jesus tells him he must be born again. When we are born again, we ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. He is available to be your personal Teacher. He opens up the Bible to you. As you are able, He explains your questions.

It involves daily study of your Bible. Works best if you turn off media and listen for the Holy Spirits voice. It is not audible. He reveals Jesus to your born again spirit. With much practice, you will become more in tune to the Holy Spirits presence.

It's more beneficial to begin in the New Testament, learning just who Jesus is. Once that foundation is secure; you'll understand the Old Testament in your study travels.

Attend a Church that is teaching Bible Scripture. Some of them teach "works" or put more emphasis on counseling and relationships. You grow faster if you are learning scripture and how to enter into Gods Presence with praise and worship.

Let us know how it's going, and if we can help more. Explore all the links out on the red links page. It's all good things to read.

May i give ya my feelings on the Antichrist, no pun intended. We are all Born ANTICHRIST thats y we must be Bornagain, Of an incorruptible seed Even by the living words of God .God wanted to destroy the whole nation of ISRAEL at 1 time b/c of their AntiGod spirit,There was none righteous no not ONE . Thats y he Rebuked Peter calling him SATAN simply b/c Peter had not been converted just yet . Ya gota realize that mans carnal mind is in rank with Satans head. Remember Jesus said outta of the hearts of man proceeds all manner of Evil. Thats y God wanted to destroyed this whole earth @ 1 time b/c of mans evil nature . except for 8 souls via the ARK,A TYPE OF CHRIST . But all souls that has ever lived comes under the blood of Christ . Thats y Jesus said if i be lifted up ( the blood of the lamb ) I will DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME that has ever lived. Ya gotta realize that the blood of the lamb is the very blood of God Almighty ACCORDING TO ACTS 20. Behold the lamb of God Almighty that is gonna take away the SINS OF THE WORLD NO EXCEPTIONS. That AntiChrist Spirit is still in the earth to day . Darkness has covered this earth and gross darkness the ppl ,Jesus said he was the light of the world but he says the night is coming when no man can work impling A time of spritual darkness when no man can work spritually. Churches on every corner but not a sign of Christ or Godliness anywhere . Its just as Jesus said your house is left unto you desolate . We see that great abomination of Desolation ever where. You will NOT see me till you say blessed is he that comes in the NAME OF THE LORD which is the manchild, the H.G. that is gonna rule all nations after that book is opened ,She brought forth A MANCHILD that is gonna rule ALL NATIONS. Then it says NOW is come salvation and the Kingdom of our GOD and the POWER of his CHRIST THE CHILD, MANS FRUIT UNTO GOD. K LEMME GO. Don't forget that NEW COVENANT the book in the right hand of the FATHER,After it was opened they sang a new song .

I am requesting prayer for two of my grandchildren whom have gone astray. I pray that God will protect them from any hurt harm or danger. They are currently in custody @ the juvenile jail, which I am glad they are are there and safe rather than having to view their bodies in a coffin. Please pray with me that they will return to Christ and do God's will.

    Thank You God Bless!

A kinsman is a relative, whether by blood or marriage. In the story of Ruth & her marriage to Boaz, Boaz was related to Naomi (Ruth's mother-in-law's) husband, Elimelech. Even though Ruth was a Moabitess, her first marriage to Mahlon (Elimelech's son) made her a relative to Boaz. And indeed, Boaz was not only a kinsman, but also a redeemer, in that he married Ruth so as to keep the blood-line intact. So, Boaz is seen as a Kinsman-Redeemer & is a picture of Christ as our Kinsman-Redeemer, having kept the Law of God perfectly & also paying the full price for our (Jew & Gentile's) sins giving us redemption because of his Humanity - His relationship to all mankind.

I think people often ask the question about their pets being in heaven, because they want to be with them and that's what they imagine joy to be. What I don't understand about the question is that it sounds like an interview question- that if they find out their pets might not be there then they might not want to follow Jesus or be a Christian or go to heaven? To me, that's illogical, because we already know heaven will be infinitely ma real Christian? The best day on earth would be a million times greater in heaven.

Secondly, the Bible is absent of any scriptures saying pets will be in heaven so its pure baseless speculation to say one way or the other.

Third, I think it's silly to say all animals go to heaven and all of them have souls and can sin. So, annoying flies, mosquitos and ticks will be in heaven? And a dung beetle or a bacterium or hammerhead shark will read the Bible and go to heaven because they followed Jesus and avoided sin? There is an enormous difference between humans and other animals- we have souls and make thoughtful moral decisions and about right and wrong.

    God bless...
