    The first question one needs to ask is what is a Soul. The common belief is that a soul is the spiritual part of us, is eternal, and in passing our soul either ascend to heaven or descends to hell. Although in Genesis 2:7 we read that a Soul is the whole person (body and breath). The early Reformers taught and believed this.

    Now what about death. The Bible talks about death as sleep. Psalm 13:3 "Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death". Jesus said in Luke 11:11 "--Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep."

    The idea of an eternal soul is not Biblical. If we have within us an eternal soul that lives on after death then what need is there of a resurrection or the second coming of Christ. Paul explains this in 1 Corinthians 15:12-58.

    Seventy weeks are determined upon THY PEOPLE people and upon THY HOLY CITY,

    ...to finish the transgression, and

    ( Jn 1:29; 1 Jn 3:5; Is 53:12)

    ...to make an end of sins, and

    ( 1 Cor 15:3; Col 1:19-20; Heb 9:26-28)

    ...to make reconciliation for iniquity, and

    ( Rom 5:10; 2 Cor 5:18; Col 1:20-22; Eph 2:14-16)

    ...to bring in everlasting righteousness, and

    ( Matt 3:15; Rom 3:21-22; Rom 8:4; 2 Cor 5:21)

    ...to seal up the vision and prophecy, and

    ( Jn 19:30; Luke 24:25-27; Rev 19:10)

    ...to anoint the most Holy.

    (Is 61:1; Mark 1:15; Luke 4:18; Heb 9:8)

    { Daniel 9:24} < The context

    And he [the Messiah] shall confirm the covenant with many for ONE WEEK: and IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK (the seventieth) he [Christ] SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, and for the overspreading of abominations (the continued temple sacrifices, after Christ one perfect sacrifice.) he shall makeitdesolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. ("Behold your house has been left unto you desolate.")

    { Daniel 9:27}

    Only our Creator can have a covenant with his creation.

    7 weeks + 62 weeks + one week = 70 weeks, to anoint the most Holy, and to seal up the vision and the prophecy.

    Comments about who God will not save Bill, its only our old adamic nature that is in rank with Satan, Mans carnal mind is in rank with satan that y he called peter Satan, as Jesus said out of the hearts of man proceeds all manner of evil. But God is no respector of Persons .The only reason he loved Jacob but hated Esau was b/c Jacob was symbolic of the 2 nd man Christ but Esau was symbolic of the 1st man Adam a corruptible being but the 2 nd man is an incorruptible being Christ Jesus and thats y we must be bornagain of his incorruptible seed which is the seed of Christ. that living word OF God. In Adam we all died but in Christ that 2 nd Adam we wil all be made alive. By the disobedience of 1 man Adam sin came into the world but by the obedience of 1 man Christ Jesus sin will be done away with . When i see the blood i will pass over you. Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. Bill i hope ya understand that its everybody that needs the blood of the LAMB. Without it we wd all be lost. But behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the whole world. ok lemme go

    Teil 2

    The Roman mass is the abomination that maketh desolate:

    (And it practiced and prospered.)

    The eucharist of the Sun-day resurrection (as they refer to it) is in their own words a literal sacrifice to Christ resurrection, but Christ made it (the last supper) to be a memorial to HIS DEATH (sacrifice) till he comes again.

    Placing the significance on the resurrection of Jesus in place of his death, is a denial of the Atonement and reconciliation that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made with his own blood at the cross.

    This was set up in 508 A.D. with the decree of Clovis, and will continue till Christ comes to execute his judgments that began in 1844:

    { Daniel 8:11}

    (Here the place of the true sanctuary is being cast down: see Heb 8:1)

    And armsshall standon his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuaryof strength, and shall --take away--H5493[call/bring back] the daily, and they --shall place-- H5414 [set up]the abominationthat maketh desolate.

    { Daniel 11:31}

    --Jesus at his crusifiction caused the sacrifice and the oblation of the daily to cease.

    ( Daniel 9:27)

    And from the time[508 A.D.] thatthe daily (sacrifice)shall be --taken away--H5493, [call back] and the abominationthat maketh desolateset upH5414,there shall be a thousandtwo hundredand ninetydays. ("The time of the end")

    { Daniel 12:11}

    (The spurious sanctuary being set up in place of the true sanctuary in heaven, which is what the terminus quem of 1798 A D. gives us.)

    This is the antichrist beast of Rome who thinks to change times and laws of God, and who in their own words thinks to reinstate the the literal sacrifices (daily) that Christ caused to cease with his one perfect sacrifice.

    And he ['ha moshiach'] shall confirm the covenant ['berit hadashah'] with many for one week: and in the midst of the week [the 70th week] HE SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, and for the overspreading of abominations

    Teil 2

    This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft.

    The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound.

    (When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.)

    Jesus;

    (The resurrection; Jn 11:25) /Isous = 888

    by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration;

    I(10), E(8), S(200), O(70), U(400), S(200).

    In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail.

    The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord.

    A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God.

    The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed.

    The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft.

    Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [ Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other.

    This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state.

    In conclusion, when the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then so too will the blessing that came with this separation be lost.

    MYSTERY BABYLON

    The seven headed beast of Revelation 17:

    "Here is the mind which has wisdom"

    The heads are symbolic of seven kingdoms, starting with the beast of Daniel 7;

    1st < Babylon

    2nd < Medo-Persia

    3rd < Greece

    4th < Pagan Rome

    5th < Papal Rome; the little horn

    ("that was" & "is not" & "yet is")

    6th < "one is"

    The woman that rides the beast is in captivity at the time of John's vision, AFTER receiving the deadly wound from the (atheist) beast from the bottomless pit [ Rev 11:7]. This is the beast of THE TIME AND PLACE of John's vision IN THE WILDERNESS.

    (Meaning that John is in the wilderness in his vision and not physical on Patmos, and he sees a beast that would come up from out of this wilderness. Read Job 38:26.)

    7th < "is not yet come"

    At the time of John's vision in the wilderness, this head of the beast was yet to come; this is the beast from out of the earth [ Rev 13:11];

    (And he shall exercise all of the power of the first beast...) when this beast will speak like a dragon.

    This beast must continue a short time, as per the others before him.

    I believe by the testimony of Jesus, that we are now living in that "short time".

    The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

    { Revelation 17:8}

    :11...even he is the eighth, AND IS OF THE SEVEN, and ascends out of the bottomless pit and goes into perdition.

    --There are seven heads at the time of John's vision, five kings/heads/beast are fallen, so this eighth is of the five kingdoms...."that was"...."and is not"...."yet is" AND received a deadly wound; AND his deadly wound was healed.

    This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom.

    Bill in the O.T. it was circumcision ( the flesh ) that had to be cast into the fire but now our circumcision is of the heart ( our old carnal mind ) As Paul said mans carnal mind is the very enemy of God, its not subject to the laws of God and neither indeed can be, thus we need the mind of Christ which is the H.G. let this mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus .Behold i make ALL things new , if any man be in Christ Jesus HE IS A new creature Bill That new man is Christ in you the old man is he ( our carnal minds that is destroyed at the harvest, the tares at the last day ) That baptism of fire and the H.G. THE NEW BIRTH . Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil CHILD ETC THAT REAL NEW BIRTH , The manchild is the Child of PROMISE , THE kINGDOM OF GOD . Its gona happen to everybody ,as Jesus said every sinner will have their part in the lake of fire, our old man is gona be destroyed,remember if thy right had offend thee cut it off. Saul had to be destroyed so that PAUL cd be born a new creature which was the H.G. Christ in Paul. The Red Heifer answers to humanity that is gonna be burnt to ashes at the door of the tabernacle the door of our hearts. Without judgement there is no new creature meaning a new innerman which is Christ in us. The mystery of the Kingdom of God is Christ in us but our old adamic nature has to be destroyed with that baptism of fire and the H.G as our God is a consuming fire thank you Jesus i hope for your consuming fire. Thats y Jesus said i come to bring fire on the earth thats what we need . Remember Bill the potter saw that the vessel was so marred he had to make a new vessel, thats us we need a new innerman a new heart and a new spirit . which is Christ in us sinners. Bill in Jeremiah 51 Jeremiah saw everything not of faith being destroyed at that last day and that battle ax is the manchild which answers to the H.G. that is gona destroy everything not of God in that last day David saw ALL the world at rest and full of his GLORY

    "Once saved always saved? Can a saved person lose his soul?"

    That depends on who saved them. If God saved them they can never be lost, if they saved themselves through their choice/free will, it stands to reason that they can then choose or will themselves to be lost.
  • Mild Bill - In Reply on Psalms 91:7 - 4 years ago
    Well then Alex, I can see that even you understand that there are "exceptions" to whom God will save. Again I ask, "to whom will Jesus say,I never knew you?" Never equals forever.

    Men do not simply lose their carnal mind, as you suggest, but their souls as well, and for eternity.

    You fit the description given in 2Peter 2, false teacher, which description God has given his people, for a time such as this.
  • Jack Gutknecht on 1 Kings 4:26 - 4 years ago
    1 Kings 4:26-How can this verse say Solomon had 40,000 stalls when 2 Chronicles 9:25 says he had only 4,000 stalls?

    Problem: In recording the prosperity of Solomon, this passage states that he had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots. However, 1 Chronicles 9:25 affirms that Solomon had only 4,000 stalls for horses. Which one is right?

    Solution: This is undoubtedly a copyist error. The ratio of 4,000 horses to 1,400 chariots, as found in the 2 Chronicles passage, is much more reasonable than a ratio of 40,000 to 1,400 found in the 1 Kings text. In the Hebrew language, the visual difference between the two numbers is very slight. The consonants for the number 40 are rbym,? while the consonants for the number 4 are rbh (the vowels were not written in the text). The manuscripts from which the scribe worked may have been smudged or damaged and have given the appearance of being forty thousand rather than four thousand.

    Comments by Alex about the H.G. the Child of Promise that God Promised Abraham that wd be as the stars of heaven, that Promise was 2 fold earthy and heavenly But when God swore by himself that was the heavenly part which is Christ that came from heaven and is fulilled when the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in humanity the field being the WORLD where that good seed will be sown i.e us sinners Thats y he always refered to himself as the son of man meaning mankinds fruit unto God which is the H.G that Promise of multiplication.The bridegroom is gonna multiply himself in humanity via his seed the word that new covenant ( i will know them all ) an intimacy that is gona result in a heavenly birth of Christ in us that Child of PROMISE , When ya speak of the H.G always mention the Child of PROMISE WHICH IS SPIRIT, THE H.G. That Jesus always refers to as THE PROMISE OF MY FATHER. Wait for the Promise of my father which was baptism of the H.G. the multiplication of Christ in us via that good seed ,being bornagain of an incorruptiible seed ,even by the words of God that Liveth and abideth FOREVER th Promise. When Jesus said my father will send the H.G. in MY NAME implies it comes thru his seed his word thus its Christ who is the father of the H.G. when HE breathe on them that was his seed his breath was his Word which is spirit and life thus Christ is truly the Father of the H.G. Simply b/c the H.G. IS BORN IN US VIA HIS GOOD SEED THE LIVING WORD THE CONTENTS OF THAT BOOK OF LIFE .Thats y Isaiah refers to Christ as everlasting Father, simply b/c he reproduces after the God kind as he is the Father of the H.G. THE GRANSON that is gonna initiate an ISRAEL OF GOD WHICH ARE SPIRITS THAT ARE GONA BE BORN IN US, THE CHILDREN OF PROMISE . Ya gotta realize that Christ is not impotent he has a seed to sow in humanity thus his children that are spirits the H.G. plural that are gonna be as the stars of heaven, Behold me and the CHILDREN th lord has given me,signs, wonders

  • Old Earth Theory vs The Bible by Mishael - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
    John 3:16

    For God so loved THE WORLD that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Last time I checked, that scripture still stands prominently in the Bible. Jesus was crucified for everyone. He suffered the wrath of God for everyone. Willingly. And He was raised up on the 3rd day. Victorious!

    What you mentioned about pre-Genesis is called, "Old Earth Theory". It is a Cult of people that teach something that is not recorded in the Bible. "In Beginning" is when God created TIME. That is when the story began.

    The whole ENTIRE BIBLE is about a PERSON. His name is Jesus.

    John 1:1-5

    1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    2. The same was in the beginning with God

    3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

    If God had included a Book and Chapters about pre-Genesis; it would be in the Bible. But they didn't do that. The Book of John clearly explains that. God gave us archaeology, astronomy, and science to find HIM; to SEE HIM.

    Romans 1

    17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH TO FAITH: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

    18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

    19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

    20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD, so that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE.

    21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him NOT as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

    Alex Comments about the Rich man in hell , he is in rank with satan ,Ya gotta realize it was satan that told Jesus all the things and kingdoms of this world are delivered unto me and i give to whosoever will worship me, Hell is for the devil and his angels and mankinds carnal mind ,when God said her seed ( Christ) wd crush satans head thats our old adamic nature. Mans carnal mind is Satans head . Thats y Jesus rebuked peter it was his old carnal mind that was telling jesus he did not need to go to jerusalem to die ,far be it from thee. But that was satan talking, Peter had not been converted just yet Thats y our lord tells us that every sinner will have their part in the lake of fire ,Its simply his baptism of fire. ,HIS JUDGEMENT THAT WE ALL NEED ,Baptism of the H.G. IS THAT FIRE AS OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE that we ALL need . Ya gotta realize that his judgement is his love ,Whom the lord loveth he chasens ( his baptism of fire and the H.G. ) No baptism of fire no Kingdom as Malachi said so well. Who shall abide the day of his coming, who shall stand when our lord appears for he shall be as a REFINERS FIRE AND FULLERS SOAP in that day that he makes us clean that last day the 2 nd advent 2 nd coming . WILD BILL it wd make God a hypocrite if he didnt apply the blood of Christ to everyman as he applied the curse of Adam to everyman no exceptions.Thats y they call Jesus the 2 nd adam what he did at calvary is gona stain ever mans raiments ,NO EXCEPTIONS . If i be lifted up i will DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME .AS GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, Go ye into ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE NO EXCEPTIONS even the isles of the seas ARE gonna be converted unto me. When Jesus fed the multitudes he fed everybody no exceptions , He maketh his rain to fall on everybody and his sun to shine on everybody no exceptions . His love is beyond our comprehension . How many times must i forgive my brethren in 1 day Jesus replied 7 times 70 OH HIS LOVE.

    Mark 3:28-29

    Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

    BUT he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath NEVER FORGIVENESS , but is in DANGER of eternal damnation:

    Luke 12:10

    And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

    2 Timothy 3:2

    For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

    The Work of the Holy Spirit. John 16

    "I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. 5But now I am going to him (Father) who sent me, and none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?' 6But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper (HOLY SPIRIT) will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. 8And when HE comes, HE will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in ME; 10concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; 11concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world (Satan) is judged.

    12"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13When the Spirit of truth comes, HE will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he HEARS, he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. 14He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. 15All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

    My comment: if the Holy Spirit is not calling you (in your born again spirit), to return to Jesus, you are in danger of blaspheming.

    Mishael
