    This introduction to the Book is given by the Apostle John, when he was exiled on the isle of Patmos. He declares that the prophetical message he is about to share with the Churches & believers in general, comes from Jesus Christ Himself, given to Him by God, & delivered to John by Jesus' messenger.

    Though the statement within it, "which must shortly come to pass" has caused concern amongst some that the events of the Great Tribulation & the Anti-Christ have still not happened after all these centuries, we need to understand this Book as giving a revelation of the condition of the Church in these last days & the increasing deterioration of society leading up to this final judgement. In other words, unlike what the 'prophets of today' tell us, who give us hope that our lives are becoming better & the world is in much better shape, God's Word tells us that ever since Calvary, we have been on the decline, as the Cross has set the demarcation line separating those running to it in faith for salvation & those who violently oppose that Work. Technology & man's knowledge may have increased, giving us a more comfortable lifestyle, but his rejection of God's Love in Jesus, has marked him as very unwise & destitute of the Truth leading him to utter ruin, his judgement & the coming final closure of the age.

    I Lost my mother Jessie Bowman due to COVID 19 on March 20th 1 day before for her birthday March 21st. My mother owned a 3 family house I live on the 1st floor my mother lived on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor was rented out to tenant. i found out that my mother was in a reverse mortgage. I would have to find a way to either pay the loan off which is 500,00 or to sell the property and pay the bank, the problem is that I have a bother who has drug issues, my mother put the property insurance in my name, i got a lawyer and became administrator of her estate, but I don't know what God want me to do, I would love to keep the 3 family house I was raised there since I was 2yrs old and had raised and raising all 6 of my children there. I would also be well with getting my own single family home, I pray I can have both rent out the 3family and to have my own single family home if it is in God will. I feel homeless I feel the bank would just come any day now and throw me and my children out on the street. I'm scared and I've been praying and looking for God to lead and guide me. I'm soo lost and don't know where to turn and look. I need God Grace and Mercy to help me with my situation, don't know where the money going to come from and my credit is not so good either. Asking God to make a break through.

    It's my opinion that the reference to plagues in Revelation 15 & 16 cannot be found in the various plagues that have afflicted humans over the ages (& there have certainly been many). Looking at the word in Greek, 'plague' (plege; pr. play-gay), means a 'blow, wound, affliction, plague', & not necessarily as how we understand the word or the inference we place on it.

    In Revelation, we are told about the seven angels with their seven vials & that they empty out their vials in succession, causing a great sore on those who received the Mark & worshipped the beast. The succeeding vials contained that which rendered the sea useless for life, then upon the rivers & streams, the constant burning heat of the sun, utter darkness, drying up of the Euphrates to open the way for the eastern nations to move westward, & finally the great earthquake & hailstorm.

    I can't correlate any of these occurrences to what has taken place on Earth thus far affecting mankind, as they appear quite distinct in nature & affecting the coming Anti-Christ & those who follow him. And these, by virtue of their description, would indicate that the whole world will be afflicted by these 'plagues', which then gives support that those who have placed their trust in Jesus for salvation will not be around to experience this, which is otherwise called the Wrath of God poured out upon wickedness. Therefore, it's my understanding that the plagues that the world has experienced thus far are those that are part & parcel of the evils that come upon us because we are sinful people living in a sin affected world; but that which is to come will be different & coming in rapid succession as a result of God's Anger against the Devil incarnate & his followers.

In Genesis 3:21, God made coats of skins to clothed Adam and Eve, rejecting them attempting to clothed themselves, in which he made an atonement for their transgression pointing to a future sacrifice lamb "Christ" that would take away the sins of the world. In Genesis 12:3, God tells Abraham in him all the families of the earth shall be blessed, In Genesis 15:1-6, God promise Abraham a son "Isaac" through which his seed be called, "AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED" In Genesis 15:8-17 God puts Abraham to sleep to perform an unconditional covenant with him, Which depends on Gods promise not Abraham efforts. In Genesis 16:1-4, Abraham and Sarah decided to assist God in his promise and decided to parent a child through Sarah's handmaid and bared him a son Ismael, Genesis 17:18-21, God rejects Ismael as the covenant child, "Heir" according to the promise.

    Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.' After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them." ( Acts 16:6-10)

    "Asia" in the Book of Acts is modern day Turkey or Asia Minor. The cities of Phrygia, Galatia, Mysia, Bithynia and Troas are all in Asia Minor. In the beginning of Acts, chapter 16, Paul was already in "Asia" (Turkey) with the decree from Jerusalem. He had picked up Timothy in Lystra and continued in verse 4 to spread the news in southern Turkey. However, once Paul got to Phrygia (verse 6), the holy spirit kept him from preaching. So Paul and his companions moved on again and again until it was revealed to him in a vision in Troas that he was urgently needed in Macedonia (northern Greece). We believe that this was the main reason God forbade Paul from preaching in Asia Minor. It soon became clear to Paul and his companions that they would not have been where they needed to be had they lingered in Galatia any longer. Therefore, verse 6 is less about God forbidding Paul to preach in Asia and more about Paul's trusting God's divine timing.

    I think clearly we are seeing that the Holy Spirit directs our appointments divinely. It was that way then, as it is today in this time. If we pray and submit to evangelizing; the Holy Spirit will lead us to those who are ready to hear.

    One plows the fallow ground of our hearts in prayer; another sprinkles the see of Gods Word; next our intercessors rain on the seed with our prayer ministry; the Lord of the Harvest sends reapers (evangelists) to bring in the harvest. This is how Jesus planned it.

    Revelation 15:1 references ..."the seven last plagues...". If the Spanish Flu of 1918 was the first plague, and the Corona Virus is the second plague-does that mean we have 5 more plagues before the Armageddon and the 2nd coming of Christ?

    What are the current opinions of Biblical scholars on this?

    John the Baptist was not very impressed with Billy and Franklin Graham, nor T. D. Jakes nor the Pope when they came to be baptized confessing their sins. John called the public ministers of his day who held great sway over the church and people in all religious matters and the understandings of serving the Living God. John the Baptists who had the Spirit of God with Him of whom God said John was the greatest of all prophets because God spoke the clearest through him. And John was announcing the new strange thing Jesus and God were doing bringing Jesus exact nature and God's indwelling presence in intimacy to reconcile all mankind to God once again and bringing the hope of glory and eternal life.

    God spoke of those He and Jesus were Perfecting in their flesh YOU are greater a prophet than John the Baptist who had not the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of God's indwelling presence with love, Knowledge, wisdom and Power after the evidence of Speaking in the Heavenly language of prophetic tongues which is God speaking in prayer to and through you for understanding and guidance.

    John says Oh Generation of Vipers about these religious fakers in that day and in this as well because they preach No One Is Perfect while on the earth in his flesh. But here was the Son of God as our high priest in the flesh manifesting the indwelling presence of the Living God in sinless Perfection and God's Righteousness in His flesh as our example which God and Jesus said is our image when God cleans us and lifts us from our repented sins. Oh you generation of Vipers who has revealed to you the wrath that is to come. In Job God calls these False Religious men whom come before God in prayer whom he despises SATAN, and reveals their wickedness toward anyone who dares approach God without their approval and through their fake understandings and dead doctrines but not intimacy with God in His grand scheme to lift you suddenly into Christ so you can have a face to.

    Genesis 13:8:"And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren."

    The word 'brethren' has a wider meaning than just 'brothers'. The Hebrew allows for it to mean, 'countrymen, kinsmen, relatives, etc." As well, Abram included not only himself but his herdsmen in this plea for peace. So by using the word 'brethren', Abram seems to come as a peacemaker to show Lot that "we're all here & in this together as one big family, so why should this matter cause us strife & division & pull us apart". As it happened, they did go their separate ways but hopefully, any anger felt earlier would have subsided.

    Deuteronomy 22:5: "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

    In those early days, the garments of men & women were very similar, & not distinct as they are now. So in the aspects of style, cut & embroidery work, these would give them some distinction between the genders & general acceptability. Today, fashions are also clearly defined & acceptable even if it means that pants/jeans may be worn by women: so I don't see that this is what the verse refers to here.

    It seems more likely that the Israelites are being forewarned as they come into heathen lands that this type of behaviour, unknown to the Israelites, were common among the heathen, particularly in their temple worship to their gods & goddesses. And later on, when transvestism became more common place among the heathen, even among the Romans (known for their debauchery), this warning became more applicable that God's people should never resemble the heathen in such practises & maintain a proper, relevant dress code. So I understand this warning in Deuteronomy does not apply to what is normal, acceptable, decent styles of clothing, but to those who pursue the wearing of such apparel of the opposite sex because of their depraved minds & sinful hearts.

    The Lord & His disciples recognized & celebrated the Passover because the fulfilment of that Feast was not realized fully until the crucifixion of Christ.

    As the Israelites in Egypt applied the blood of the animal on their doorposts so that the Lord would 'pass over' & not kill their firstborn, so through Christ's death, God's Lamb was sacrificed on our behalf & His Blood applied to our hearts & lives. By faith we accept that work of Grace & through faith the Blood cleanses us from every sin; the Lord seeing the application of the Cross in our lives, means He passes by us & we stand uncondemned & not face eternal death.

    There is no reason for believers in Christ to commemorate Passover, if they do, they would bring themselves under the requirements of its intended meaning & application & that is no longer valid, as what the Israelites looked forward to (maybe, unknowingly), we have fully received through Jesus Christ. Their salvation from the bondage in Egypt is now our salvation from bondage to sin & condemnation.

    Our Lord Jesus said His work was finished AND He would have to leave so that another Comforter would come. He said if He did not leave, the other Comforter would not come. Our Lord Jesus left so that He could go and prepare a place for us to come to. That Other Comforter Here Already! Have you found Him yet?

    Good day Sir. the passover was celebrated yearly by the Israelites, it was a festival,which the disciples kept. In the New Testament,Jesus Christ, why then do churches do it any time at,but not yearly? I see Paul in Acts going to witness Pentecost day which follows Passover.

    So, i don't understand y today's church recognize Pentecost day yearly,but refuse to honor The Passover yearly as in scripture.NB: I mean Passover,not easter,please.

    There's nothing in the Bible about an 'eagle-eyed prophet'. Some people may have referred to the prophet Isaiah as such because of his writings on the person of the coming Christ & that he was able to see far into the future. But then again, other prophets spoke of the future. So what you might have heard is just someone's description of Isaiah or another prophet, & it's not found in the Bible.
