Rather, David's righteous acts can be a blessing to those who live righteously before God ('saints') & also to the people of import (rulers, judges, nobles: 'the Excellent'), in whom is his delight, or brings him joy. And this can be said of God: that He finds His delight in those who truly love & serve Him.
Conversely, in verse 4, David says that to those who reject the True God, & despise the righteous deeds of David by following after false gods, to them will his benefits not come, rather only sorrows will always follow them. David would have nothing to do with their blood & wine mingled drink offerings or even mention the names of these idols. And then David follows these sad & despicable acts by re-affirming that his own heart will always be toward God, Who gives him everything for this life & the life that is to come.
1. Report any illegal activity to the police
2. Report the facts of the problem (only what you 100% know is true, not any assumptions) to church leaders
3. Leave
The above two can by anonymous if you are concerned about ramifications. It's Biblical to try to solve issues within the church before escalating to use outside services, like attorneys or police. Maybe church leaders know about this or maybe they don't. One way to be sure is to anonymously send them a letter and inform them. One thing important in this process is only reporting the facts of what you personally witnessed, not assumptions or interpretations of things. Use quotes, dates, times, locations, names, who did what where and when. Gossip and hearsay can often lead to falsehoods and can cause even more harm, so as long as that is avoided in this process it will be on solid ground and will help people rather than hurt them. God bless.
Thank you so much.
Please don't be angry with me. Your statement of "If you do not warn the wicked you will not be save nor the wicked doer". What do you mean by this? That if we do not evangelize or "warn" then we will not be saved?? We are saved by the Grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. His free gift to us. After which we are bought with a price and are His forever. He will guide our paths. Not by how much we can do to "warn" people, of what I also don't know what you mean, of something. Acknowledging your faith to our Father and Jesus Christ to others is always good. Along with using the Word, Holy Scriptures, or Gospels to lead people to the truth. Of coarse if they will even hear you is the question.
Please don't anyone take this the wrong way that I have anything against evangelizing. They are my brothers doing what our Father has them doing.
Just you stating that "if you do not warn the wicked you will not be saved" is not correct. In my eyes anyway. Jesus Christ states just prophesying, or casting out demons, or many wonderful works may not deem you saved.
Matthew 7:22-23: Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
God Bless.
"And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:"
