You may have believed, but many did not , such as the Pharisees, they actually hated him for it because it challenged their position as Gods ruling class .

2nd I recall the story of the rich man in hell , said let someone go and tell my relatives about this place , the response was if they will not believe the word of God neither will

Believe someone raised from the dead . The story is in the gospel of the NT can't recall where it is now .

Hi David, the Bible doesn't say anywhere that all people go to heaven immediately when they die. The one verse you posted doesn't say that, nor does the chapter say that. The Bible does say that people will sleep after they die and will await judgment day, however, and that is consistent with all the other verses in the Bible. Did you see the previous verses I posted that says that? Then people will go to heaven if they genuinely followed Jesus and followed the narrow path. It says wide is the gate that leads to destruction and hell, so most people will go there, including Christians who assume they're saved, but they're actually following the world (satan) instead of Jesus. God bless.

    Romans 8 . 16

The Holy Spirit assures is in a deep way beyond words or understanding .

We get peace and even joy the same way .

If we stray away we can lose the fellowship of the spirit .

There is a verse that says draw close to God and he will draw close to you .

It's possible to have a joyful experience with God by the a Holy Spirit .

He also comforts us in difficult times . What a loving God we have . He really cares more than we know !

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)

"[1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

Yes, we do face sufferings in this life, but we have to know that

    Romans 8:18

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

    Philippians 4:6-7

"The Lord is at hand. [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Even if we die in this world we will go to the next world which is eternal. There are two destinations that everyone will go to one day after death, either [heaven mainly because they trusted what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for there sin's and on the third day ROSE again] or [hell mainly because they rejected what the Lord Jesus Christ did for them on the cross and ROSE again the third day]. For those that trust in the Lord Jesus Christ ( to that bright world to which we go) may God bless.

  • We are Already reconciled by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ - In Reply on Psalms 2 - 5 years ago
Always remember the gospel which is

    1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)

"[1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

    Also by the way

    Romans 5:8-11

"[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. [11] And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."

There by believing on the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 we are reconciled to the Lord Jesus Christ by his sinless blood.

Please answer me on here if you can my mail is shot. I have a question that I have thought about for a long time and have not ever got a answer but my question is when all the people saw Jesus walk on water, heal all kinds of people that had been sick there whole lives and just did so many things and preformed so many miracles on people and they saw it with there own eyes how could they still not believe in him after they saw this first hand and knew it was miracles and that he did it so why did they still not believe in him? Thanks and may God Bless You! If I saw it that is all it would take for me and I would believe in him without any doubts which I do anyway but what do you all think?

Verse 1-Christ willingly suffered in the flesh for us. He chose to use his body to honor Jehovah God and to defend Jehovah God's sovereignty. In imitation of him, we must be willing to suffer for the sake of righteousness.

All people go to heaven when they die; not all remain there. There are two parts to heaven; one side is with our Lord, the other side is a holding place like in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. They are held there to await judgement.

    Old testament Eccl. 12:7,

    (7) Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

    Read this whole chapter.

Apostle Paul said they sleep in Jesus until resurrection day .

Which according to Jesus is the last day , the dead in Christ arise and we which remain are caught up to meet Jesus , so that it's the day of redemption we all look for . It only happens once for all believers. At that time on the last Day at his coming , that every eye will eventually see . It's not a secret coming .

I have only seen in scripture that God is Spirit .

But in heaven before creation there where Angels and saints , of variations , so that could be the us in reference to those in heaven . I have not seen a scripture that says this is not the case . But God is Spirit not flesh , Jesus was born of God and became the first man and God being by birth . Never where any angels begotten as Jesus was .

The question about predestination: I believe God knows all - therefore he already knows, and draws his children to himself. As the scripture says 'many are called, but few are chosen' - again God already knows those who are chosen, hence predestination.

Being created in the image of God means that mankind is threefold like God is ( body, soul, spirit). We are not like the animals which do not have an eternal spirit and do not go to Heaven or Hell. A suitable helper for man would need to also be threefold in order to relate to him on a spiritual level, otherwise they would not be truly "one." Woman was created for man but was also created in the image of God.
