BUT GOD GRACE AND MERCY. To GOD be the Glory. Thank You JESUS. An encounter with GOD and JESUS. My Testimonial !. Must Read ! WOW !. I am a Vietnam Vet. This is very powerful. For I myself travel down this lonely road. The hurt , pain, sorrows, and no where to lay my head. over 20 years homeless, Lost everything:, Wife & Families. Gave up on life. Till one day GOD knock me down on all fours. ended up 3 months in a hospital. With gangrene .Leg to be amputated . A hospital Chaplin came and prayed over me. For the very 1st. time I tasted DEATH !. GOD showed me the bottomless pit. Never hit bottom; For it was bottomless, I was then lifted up by the right hand of GOD. From where I fell , I look across and saw 100s of people falling in to the bottomless pit. It was like a bad dream. BUT it was no dream. As I was going up toward the light, I felt a mist of running waters. Suddenly the pain on my leg left me, All of my sorrows vanish, It was a wonderful felling. NOW I WAS FRIGHTEN !. I look all around myself. A brightness like no other. To my left , 12 shadows of men putting my business out. Judgement Day. Judgement Day is no joking mater. To where yout own soul is your prosecutor. I was Guilty. Behind these men came a large ball of fire, Bright as the sun. I back up and looked into the fire. Just to see a man in the fire. IT WAS JESUS CHRIST !. Before me. in his full GLORY !. Trust me All knees will bow !. I threw myself on the floor. So ashamed of myself. Afraid to even to look and gaze upon his presents. Look down on the floor: Jesus came up to me. Place his feet under my face. WOW ! . JESUS is very real. Jesus shook his right finger down at me and chastised me. Then spoke these very WORDS to me ! YOU NOW WORK FOR ME.!. He love me so much that he forgave me. JESUS said to me . GO BACK AND TELL THE WORLD TO WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN .When I woke up, I was healed 100% . Doctors were baffle. Today I am on a mission for JESUS CHRIST as a pastor. It was the love of my savior. GRACE.

I need it very well explained to me about what the Bible says about interracial marriages. Some preachers say it is wrong some say it is not. But from what I read, in the King James Version, it is wrong to mix. Please help to understand this.

    Thank you!!

Dear Lord, I need your help for a problem I have. The Devil keeps getting into my head every time I think about you or try to pray or just talk to you and he is trying his best to put doubt in my head about you being real and I hate it and if you would please make him stop. I always tell him to stop and then ask you to help me but he is trying harder and harder I think because he knows he is getting to me with it? Thank you Lord Jesus for everything you do and have done for us and are still doing it every day of our lives. Love you Lord Jesus. Amen

The day begotten in my reading is started with the judgement of the heathen. ( Ps 2 Heb 1)

Jesus Christ will fufil this charge "on that day." And most likely will be the start of the millennium as the days of God are as 1000 years.

As to Solomon, he typifies the succession of worship as God confirms by fire. But the fufillment is in Jesus. Only he will execute vengeance, establish righteousness, true judgement on earth. This far exceeds the Incarnation and it easy slide into ritual pagan religion

I believe you're correct in your understanding on this chapter. Though penned with Israel in mind, that they return back to the Lord, leaving their backsliding ways, the invitation, through Jesus Christ is now open to all nations & peoples.

It starts in chapter 52:13, speaking about the 'Servant' Whose visage & form was so horribly marred & his innocent blood shed, would be for all nations. Chapter 53 goes on to speak about the 'Servant': about His suffering, His crucifixion & death. Chapter 54, on the promises to Israel that the Lord ever waits for them to return & will be their Guard. And then to this great chapter 55 which gives the universal invitation to come to God, not only for Israel but to all peoples.

So, verses 6 & 7 truly bares the Heart of God as we almost visualize His yearning for all to cast aside their wicked ways & come into His open Arms. And of course, this to us now is made possible through His 'Servant' Who opened the way for both Jew & Gentile to be made clean & acceptable in His Sight. And even when the 'Servant' came to His people, His cry was the same: that 'all who labour & are heavy laden' come to Him for rest. The only solution to the weight & gravity of sin & careless ungodly living, is found in Jesus Who alone can both promise & fulfil complete rest for the penitent. So yes, the sinner or the backslider, has the promise of God in this Scripture that He will pardon all & none will be refused.

    Praise God Brethren,

Yes, I looked into the story of Moses to see how God called him to serve (he was simply living his normal life). I have been looking for a door to serve God and I don't know how to start. In 2005 God told me in a dream that IHe will cleanse, purify and uplift me and I will be His servant globally. He confirmed the dream in real life ( I asked Him to tell me in simple language if it was Him who spoke to me in a dream, and part of what I saw in that dream happened next day morning after asking. In that dream after God spoke, I saw smoke in a neighbours house and when I turned inside to rescue my belongings the smoke cleared. So, it happened in real life, I was called early morning a neighbours house burning (I saw that heavy smoke), I sent a sister I was staying with to go help while I went back in the house to turn off power. But 2 minutes she came back saying they managed to put down the fire. So I knew, It was Him who spoke to me.

Then a few years ago Jesus stood in the sky (in another dream that was like real), threw something like a small pen/cross glittering to me and when it entered me it was that, He has sent me to serve Him globally.

My question is, when will that be? How will I start as I am still looking for that door. I am now 53.

    Be blessed.

The two Scriptures that were impressed upon my heart today for you:

Matthew 5:14: "Ye ARE the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

Isaiah 30:15 (part): "in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength." Your power & resilience lies in your faith & waiting upon the Lord.

May the Lord bless you richly Mishael & minister to your deepest need as you meditate on the Lord Who came just for YOU & will in like manner do so again.

Its been awhile since the last time ive prayed without yawning or falling asleep. Usually it was so easy. Until i became at odds with the church. I dont agree that pastors should be able to bash and degrade dead children and blame them for their own death because of rumors of being gay. Keyword: Rumors. It doesnt feel or seem right. Along with other things that have been said. These things led me to stray off on my own feeling that the church was doing nothing but bringing me anger to the point of walking out. I haven't properly rayed since then. My mindset has changed over time. You know that better than anyone, God. I've carried myself not taking a deep interest in anything in this world anymore. I'v started having a "It is what it is" kind of thinking. If I were to catch COVID I wouldn't panic. whatever happens to me happens and its inevitable. I won' stress myself. Whatever happens would be in your plan right? So why would' I trust your planning process. Maybe my life or even my death would serve a purpose. I'll admit...I'v gotten myself into ad things. Devilish tv shows and unspeakable things. I have an issue of lust and sloth. Im working on lust. I have an issue wi cursing. However, I found that I dont have a single greedy bone in my body...Ive never truly WANTED something. If someone asks "What do you want to eat? Wanna go to the store?" My response is always a nervous laugh and "I dunno...what do u want me to do?" I dont like being in control. So I let go of the control panel. Now im just living and whatever happens will happen. But...today there is one thing I need. The time is 11:16 pm. Tomorrow marks a day that planets cross paths. Some people say its a spiritual day of wrecking or the rapture. Others say black people get superpowers. All kinds of things. I do not wish to risk following false prophets. So...tonight, Lord, I beg for your guidance. And I pray that things will be okay whether we die or not. My life in your hands as it always has been. Amen.

I believe that one who has truly repented for his sins, receiving the salvation of Jesus through faith in the Blood, is born again by the Spirit of God. That being the case, then the reception of the Spirit must be in residence that person's life because it is the Spirit's Work alone, & the new child in Christ is sealed (or, marked) as God's property. And this sealing is God's guarantee that we belong to Him unto "the redemption of the purchased possession" ( Ephesians 1:13,14).

This then has to be the experience of every child of God & the presence & working of the Spirit in him, will produce many ways of confirmation to our hearts. It could be an outward manifestation of a spiritual Gift or an inward witness of that Divine indwelling. In Acts chapter 2, we read of the very first reception of the Holy Spirit upon the new Church, with the evidence of speaking in other languages as witness to both speaker & hearer. Then in Acts chapter 8 we see that the laying of hands was required for the Christians in Samaria, who believed on Jesus through Philip's preaching, but had not received the Holy Spirit. Peter & John went to them that they too might receive the Spirit. All this happened to the fledgling Church as it was being established on Christ's Sacrifice, His teaching & that of the apostles.

But in Acts chapter 10, Cornelius & others who heard the Word brought to them by Peter, had the Holy Spirit come upon them, even while Peter was still preaching, as they then spoke in other tongues. Or, when the Ethiopian Eunuch was baptised by Philip, no mention is made about the Ethiopian receiving the Spirit. So, it seems that in the establishment of the Church & with the apostles present, God at times used them to minister the Spirit to believers. But today, with the Church now grounded in the Word, matured in Christ & with no apostolic presence, the Spirit is given liberally to all who are truly born again, who call upon the Lord in faith.

Thank you Carolyn. Actually, I don't have all the answers - they're all from God's Word & should be contributed to those seeking answers. So often, questions go unanswered for various reasons, which I'm sure can be quite discouraging to those who are earnestly seeking, so it's my prayer that, not just my response, but others also, will be of some benefit & may even foster some discussion that could add to our knowledge of the Word. After all, that's why we're all here: to enjoy the Word shared & fellowship with one another as the family of God. Blessings.

The "Sons of God" were ANGELS, not men. The phrase is used only three (3) other times in the Old Testament , all in the Book of Job (1:6, 2:1, 38:7). In each of those verses, "the Sons of God" are clearly described as ANGELS. The only "son of God" in the Old Testament is ADAM, prior to the Fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Adam by His SIN, spiritually DIED (as God had warned Adam would happen), and Adam lost his "sonship" relation with God, as did ALL Adam's descendants, until Jesus Christ, who came to RESTORE man's broken relationship with God. Seth, Adam's son, and all his offspring were SONS OF ADAM, born spiritually DEAD and cut off from God, NOT "sons of God". It took Jesus Christ by His blood sacrificed for our sin- Adam 2 dying for Adam 's sin- to RESTORE man's lost relationship with God, so that Christ could say to His disciples after His Resurrection, "I go to My Father, and YOUR FATHER; to My God and YOUR GOD." There were NO human "sons of God" after Adam UNTIL JESUS CHRIST, and those who belong to Him, born of the Spirit from above. The "sons of God" referenced in Genesis 6 are FALLEN ANGELS who "left their first estate" and went after "strange flesh" and assumed human form (see 2nd Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6) and chose human wives who bore children to them- the super human hybrid Nephilim GIANTS. God punished those angels IMMEDIATELY with everlasting chains in darkness (unlike the remainder of Satan's Angel's who will be punished at the final end of history history. Go with what the Bible says! Not by human imagination or bias.

Was the Gift of the Holy Spirit promised by Adonai ,and sent back by Jesus Christ at Pentecost : afterwards accomplished by the laying on of hands by a qualified Christian/s ?

Or, does a Christian receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit automatically upon being Born Again ?

    What say you.

    Thank You

In Genesis chapter 1, God's creation of man & woman in His Image are the same people in Genesis chapter 2, where this human creation on the sixth day is further amplified & discussed. I don't see any contradiction or even the creation of two different races of people here: the first account is just giving God's Activity on each of creation's days, & the second account gives more detail of that creation.
  • Chris - In Reply on 2 Corinthians 13:5 - 5 years ago
Just to be theological & maybe, a little pedantic, though we often read of Christ being in us ( Colossians 1:27), the reality is that Christ, as God Who is also Man, is presently seated at the right hand of the Father ( Luke 22:69, Colossians 3:1). So when it is said that Christ is in us, we actually mean that He is there by His Spirit ( Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:16). While it's not wrong to say that Christ lives in us, the correct understanding of this is that Christ is there by His Spirit in all who have been born again by Him.
