I am requesting prayer for my marriage. We are having financial problems but also we argue constantly and I feel like there's no hope at this point. I feel like I don't know who my husband is anymore. I feel very alone right now. I'm asking for prayer for me to find employment. I have repented and asked God for Mercy for me and my husband. Theres so much going on in this world and its spilling over into our home and marriage and I'm trying not to give up but everyday it gets harder and harder.

Though Satan is bound, people are born sinners, as children of Adam. Sin had it's beginning with Satan. Man never returns to an innocent condition, and we know how leaven works. "The devil made me do it", has been a laughable punch line, but it hearkens back to the seriousness of the fall of man in Eden. Born dead in trespasses and sin, is the condition of all people born in the flesh. "If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" = Nothing. But for the grace of God, all people go to hell.

The Earthly kingdom of God, is what God intended for Israel, who instead wanted a man king, like the nations around them.

I can't think of any verses that specifically conform to what you want, but you could take a look at the following:

Psalm 139.

Jeremiah 1:5.

Romans 8:29.

Ephesians 1:4,5.

The interpretation of Selah is not certain. We know that when it is used in the Psalter, it's often used in Psalms that are sung or in praise to God. Therefore, it can mean "to lift up or to exalt" as an ending to some declaration. Or, it could be a direction or musical notation to the singers to "pause, be silent or become louder or softer according to the musical director". So, one cannot be certain as to its meaning or even how the Jews today view that word or if they even take much notice of it in their readings.

I pray for everyone who is struggling through this pandemic have a financial breakthrough soon. I pray that the right person who belongs in office be elected Fairly and the truth be exposed over deceit . I pray for my beautiful dog that hurt her leg as she slipped on the ice the other night. She is 15 and she is a blessing to me. I pray that God protects my mother in this scary time with covid and protects all the families that are more susceptible of being compromised. I pray that people will come together and stand up for keeping our churches open and never forgetting who Jesus Christ is and may people draw closer to him more than ever. Amen

I hope you find peace and comfort in your times of struggle with addiction , and know that God is always with you even when you might not think so :)

Maybe try a Christian church near by and have people pray with you and let them know you need help with your addiction and maybe get into a support group at church. It's important to surround yourself with good people as you go through the process of addiction.

I know I am just a stranger who stumbled upon your post, but I understand a little of what you are going through as I watched my own brother struggle with his addiction.

I am not sure if you ever heard of Bishop T.D. Jakes, but YouTube him and watch one of his sermons, I swear every time I watch his sermon it's like God is giving me a word. Try watching one, He's an unbelievable preacher! It helped me when I lost my cousin & brother from an overdose. I know everyone is different, but I thought I would just put it out there.

This is what is wrong with us in Dec.10, 2020 the people r still falling, for they have not accepted the "Stone" which is Jesus Christ. Until the Holy Spirit fall upon them they will b falling. But what is so awesome God loves u in-spite of ur disobedience. For God see n knows all things therefore He has written ur life down in the 'Book of Life' b4 u were born, n u r turning ur pages daily.B aware of ur choices while u walk through this Valley of Shadow of Death, which is Satan Hell hole, a trap for God's people. No matter what ur trails n tribulations r, for they will come against u 'good r bad' but don't u never 'Lose ur faith in God'.Let it b a learning lesson to make u strong n increase the faith that God has given u.Everything He has given to His son Jesus, He has given to u, for u r a heir of Jesus Christ.Give thanks to God.Believe it Received it n Achieve it. The mention of Queen of Heaven in Jeremiah chapters 7 & 44 refers to an Assyrian & Babylonian goddess, also known as Ashtoreth & Astarte by other groups. She was thought to the wife of the false god, Baal & women were particularly inclined towards her, as she was known to be a 'fertility goddess' as well. Sadly, Israel, who often was severely accused & punished by the True God for their embracing these false gods & goddesses, are seen here in Jeremiah actually giving much of their time & importance to this goddess, thereby bringing on God's Anger again through the prophet.

And though Israel largely rejected such worship later on, & certainly Christians are careful not to introduce idols & worship of them into our faith, Roman Catholics still practise idolatry & venerate & worship Mary, even referring to her in one of her titles, as the "Queen of Heaven & Earth". I wonder where this belief & worship of anything else but the True God emanated from?

In July 2020, I suffered a afib heart related stroke, and am trying to get back from loosing my bodily functions, like urinary tract, bowels, my brain seems to be ok, I do have a afib dual chamber pacemaker implanted permanently to help from not getting another stroke, lots of pharmecutical drugs and vitamins, I'm also suffer from autism,schizophrenia,diabetes,high. GARNISHED means actively, regularly, being filled up with the Word of God: the Bible. Maintaining close, daily contact with The Holy Spirit, through prayer and praise. Demons produce "fruit" that reveals their names: depression, fear, torments, unclean, religious. They cannot cross the Blood of Jesus. Plead the Blood and ask God to send angels to guard the 4 corners of your home. Thank Him. You will soon be aware of peace in your home. Again, garnish your spirit. Fill it up on the power of Jesus and his Bible.

Demons are brain damaged and keep hoping for different results. Remind them they are going to hell.

Here is my understanding of Colossians 3:5. Interesting, it says mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth;

Mortify means put to death. It means to allow the members of your body and its desires to die. Stop trying to revive them. Stop trying to reach back into the old life. You're losing desire for those old things, so let it die.

And he gives us a list of 5 things:

Fornication, which is sexual immorality. Uncleanness, which is all sexual impureness. Inordinate affection, which is physical passion.

(Evil concupiscence), which means evil mental desires.

And covetousness, which we call greed. And the word covetousness literally in the Greek means the desire to have more. Being greedy and covetous is the desire to have more than what you have.

And notice what he calls it: which is idolatry:

It's a form of worship and it's idolatry toward God to be greedy and have the desire to have more than what God has given you.

Paul gives us the cause in Verse 6.
