    False Teachers, Prophets, wolves

Heavenly Father, thank You for the many warnings of false teachers who cause such devastation in the Church. Thank You that the true gospelis contained in the Scriptures and I pray that in Your grace I would become fully equipped to identify false teachings and other deceptions in the Church.

Help me tobe ready to give a clear and accurate answer for the hope I have in me and protect the hearts and minds of all Your people from worldly deception.

We pray thatfalse teacherswouldbe exposed for their trickery andtheir deceptive ministries bebrought to justice - this I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.

Always without fail read Trusted Commentaries (through Google if you need to), on scriptures that seem to be argued over frequently. See what the scholars said, like Matthew Henry. This is how to smoke out a heresy.

Comments by Alex about how are we gonna be Gods simply b/c this corruptible is gona put on incorruption and this mortal is gonna put on IMMORTALITY which is God ,We are gona be changed in the twinkling of an eye ,there is gonna be marriage to God Almighty to his people, we are gona be made 1 with God thus we will share his GLORY ,THE VERY kINGDOM OF GOD IS GONA BE WITH IN US. As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy SONS MARRY THEE. As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee, Thus we are gona be Gods. There is gonna be a marriage to God ( the sons ) which is the H.G. that are gonna be many as the stars of heaven, our sons are Spirits which is the H.G. sons of man etc. Thy maker is thy husband the God of the whole world shall he be called . Thus we are truly gona be Gods. Simply b/c this mortal is gonna put on immortality. It should read so shall thy SPIRITS marry thee WHICH IS THE H.G. that is gona marry us. The H.G. is our sons simply b/c we are gonna birth the H.G. via his good seed the word. The spirit and the flesh are gonna be made 1 .Remember he made his spit and the earth 1 ,his spit was just symbolic of his word which is spirit, the earth is just symbolic of humanity the world the flesh. he made em one which is a marriage and this is how the eyes of the blind man are gona be opened the world. The eyes of the world are blind at this time . darkness has covered the world and gross darkness the people A SPRITUAL BLINDNESS . OK GBU

  • Mild Bill on Psalms 29 - 5 years ago
God is due glory, and beyond what he is due, we are lead by love of him, to worship his person by our best imitation of his character(his holiness). Strength of faith/trust is all of him, because he loved us first," the author and finisher of our faith." While his voice may capture our attention, rightly so, he is seated and giving peace unlike any other we will ever know. Though hated of the world, he is spectacular in the sight of believers, and that makes us mighty, unto him.

  • David Palm on Psalms 23:1 - 5 years ago
Psalms 23 is all about our loving Father who created us even before the foundation of the world . I wore a pendant around my neck with the 23 psalm engraved on it while I was serving in Vietnam. Just like all the other words of God ,inspired by the Holy Ghost , according to Romans 12 : verse 2 ,we are called to prove God's Good , Acceptable , and perfect will , which is his word . To prove means to bring forth evidence , without a shadow of doubt by living it , by speaking it and can only be done by believing it ,that is by faith . The first 2 words in Hebrew 11: 1 says , Now Faith . Websters dictionary defines now as the time immediately preceding the present . My point is this , we can wear psalms 23 on a pendant around our necks and read it every day , however to live it out with the NOW kind of faith, proves God's complete word . Amen !

What made me wonder was when Peter wrote about despising government, and the Angels who have more power and might bring not railing accusations against them before the Lord. Made me wonder it it was something other than false Christians who have entered the church. I think I see these types on Television. Many of these preachers I used to watch on Television would say things that were not Biblical, such as Copeland saying God is the biggest failure of the Bible. You can watch that clip on You Tube. Jesse Duplantis claims he counseled God, Joseph Prince who says repentance is a change in your attitude from thinking negatively to thinking positively. These dudes twist the gospel message to fit their own type of Theology that better fills their purses. Copeland with what he says makes me wonder how he ever got to where he got to. How can people sit there and listen to his blasphemy and heresy? Thanks for your response!

  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 8 - 5 years ago
I believe you enquired about this earlier & you received a reply. But in case you missed it, "asswaged', or as it's spelt now, 'assuaged', simply means to 'make milder, to ease, to soothe, to calm. However, I think that you're referring to Genesis 8:1, in which case it means that the Flood waters began to calm down & depart, after the wind began to draw the waters away. Most likely they formed their own bodies of water that we now call oceans & seas, while that which was not covered with water, became habitable land.

The word "terrible" is an archaic term for what we would say today as "awesome". Even the word 'awesome' connotes a sense of being in terror or trembling as we come before such a Holy Mighty God. Such is the Holiness of God because we can only perceive Him in our sinful, corrupt condition, yet with renewed hearts. He is indeed our Loving Father, yet His Holiness & Majesty demands that we reverence Him in all fear & trembling. Many Christians treat the Deity like a neighbour next door, or even use the word 'awesome' in some irreverent manner, but when we study the Word, we are truly humbled & come trembling before the LORD & His Holy Word.

The angels had given a clear warning to Lot & his family that they should not look back at the destruction of Sodom, rather to head towards the mountain ( Genesis 19:17). Lot's wife disobeyed God by looking back, & the fuller meaning of this is, not just a turning around to see the burning of the city, but that her heart was still there in Sodom & she saw her friends & dreams being evaporated. She had to pay for her sin of disobedience, just as Lot's daughters had to bear the consequences of their decision to keep the family line going: their sons, Moab & Benammi (Ammon) departed into rejection of the True God & into idolatry & were often at war with Israel. However, Ruth (from the Book of Ruth), a Moabitess, provides a glimmer of hope to us, being King David's great-grandmother.

I can only think of John 20:25, indicating that Thomas had viewed the crucifixion but would only believe in Christ's resurrection if he saw the nail prints in His Hands & the spear wound at His side. However, crucifixion was a common form of execution by the Romans, & using nails for hanging the body in a perpendicular position, provided the excruciating agony they desired the prisoner to experience but not a protracted death resulting from an inability to lift the body to breathe.

I have heard that a small ledge was also nailed to the cross beneath the feet of the one being crucified to prevent the nails in the hands & feet from tearing through the flesh from the body's weight; but this fact I have not been able to verify conclusively.

I haven't seen that scripture. King Saul ordered his armorbearer to run him through with Sauls sword but he refused. Saul fell on his own sword.

Suicide is just not scriptural. Hospice can help immensely with the end of life. Call on them. They have encountered everything possible at the end of a persons life.

Call your Pastor to counsel the person you speak of. Don't carry all this upon yourself. God has His people to help.

I fought for my Dads life as he was drowning on aspirated food. My Dad suffered because of me! Death came into the room (invisible) and said: "Leave! I'm taking your father now". I was gone 3 mins. When I returned, my Dads face was peaceful, no lines of terror and pain. Just peace, and lit with light. So much Peace.

Don't listen to your terror. Listen to Gods voice. It'll be okay.
  • Geoff on Matthew 5 - 5 years ago
When you read from verses 43 to 48, it speaks of loving those who perform iniquities against you. Verse 48 says to be perfect as your Father is perfect. How many of us abuse grace or take the Lord's name in vain? We're all unjust. God loves us anyway. So, when someone is "abusing" you, love them. We abuse God, and he loves us still, thus strive to be more like God in His love for the just and us.

Often people will speak of the signs of the times, natural disasters, pandemics, war. And, they'll say the end is near. But, do we prepare for it? Do, we try to change from our old sinful clothes into our new garments? People say, look at all the terrible things in the world is coming. God is at work. Then we go out and keep abusing grace and being jerks towards one another. When someone says to me the end of the world is coming, look at all the terrible things. I ask them what are they doing to get ready? Or, are they just making conversation?

SUN of Righteousness is one of Jesus's names. He has many.

    Wesley's Notes for Malachi 4:2

4:2 The sun of righteousness - Christ, who is fitly compared to the sun, being the fountain of light, and vital heat to his church. And of mercy and benignity; for the Hebrew word imports both. With healing - His beams shall bring health and strength, with delight and joy, safety and security. Go forth - Go out of Jerusalem, before the fatal siege. Grow up - In strength, vigour and spiritual stature. Of the stall - Where they are safe guarded and well ordered.
