Even I don't know what this means being the Beginning of the creation of God, you cannot refer to a few verses and make a point about this topic which you call the trinitarians. There are as well as many places that clearefies that Jesus is Lord and God. Amen.

To understand Psalm 2:12, we have to take in the other verses as well. Starting from verse 6, the Psalmist speaks, under the inspiration of the Spirit, about a coming King to set up His Kingdom in Zion (Hill of Jerusalem). God refers to him as a His Son, & One Who is begotten (the Hebrews writer quotes this in Hebrews 1:5 when writing about the superiority of Jesus over the angels).

And to this Son, all of Earth will be His possession (in that day) & so the solemn instruction & warning to the "kings & rulers of the Earth" (v 10), to be wise & not foolish. The wise one will "kiss the Son" (v 12): not a literal kiss of affection, but as in Eastern cultures, one of homage/obeisance to one who is greater than them (it may be a bowing down, or a kiss on the hand or garment). So when the Son (Jesus) is acknowledged & worshipped, the one doing so will not experience His Anger or rejection as those who show Him disdain. But it is one thing to acknowledge the coming King, but another to put one's trust & love upon Him. There will be a time in the future, when Jesus will not only be acknowledged as the Messiah & King by all, but will also receive the love & trust that His rightfully His from those who are witnesses of this, turning their unbelief & rejection into belief, trust & deep love for the One Who comes in the Name of LORD. Psalm 118:26 and Mark 11:9,10 show the first cry of joy at Christ's coming.

So, the Psalm 2 is a prophetical Psalm - maybe unknown to the writer, but now revealed to us in Jesus.

The name given at Psalms 83:18 is derived from the Hebrew consonants Yod He Vod He, or YHVH, referred to commonly as the Tetragrammaton. Because of IGNORANT and FOOLISH Jewish "tradition" of refusing to pronounce "the name" based on the commandment to "not use the name of thy God in vain," the original pronunciation has been lost to history. However, based on the Hebraic tradition of names having meanings and their numerical coded messages in Gematria, the pronunciation Yahweh has been given as the closest Hebrew approximation to the name in modern times. In English, it is translated a Jehovah and the J is pronounced with the J sound. In Spanish the J is pronounced with the H sound, and there is no "h" at the end in Spanish spelling. Each language has their own TRANSLATION and pronunciation for the Hebrew name Yahweh.

Satan the Devil does not want humans to know the name of the only TRUE God, Yahweh/Jehovah so that we would not KNOW who the true God is nor call on His name and worship Him. This is why the name has been all but removed from translations of the original scrolls, even though on the originals it was written 1000's of times. JEHOVAH is the only TRUE God and Jesus Christ is His SON, whom Jehovah gave as a sacrificial ransom, once for all time, for redemption of the Adamic sins of humankind, in order that all who believe in Jesus and OBEY His commands would be forgiven our sins and receive everlasting life.

How that everlasting life is defined is a different thread.

It is time for the truth to come. God is talking about the family of Jacob when he speaks about his people.

remember God change Jacob's name to Israel. The people in Jerusalem are not the real Jew. The people he

speaks of being scather is Negros in America.

Yes Norman, your statement sounds 'OK' to me. I concur with every word you've written & as I look at not only the Sun & the Earth, but also at Man, indeed anything with life, I can barely comprehend the complexities of cellular structure, of their organs & operations and the capability of everything within us functioning in harmony within the bounds set for us. To believe that all this can just happen without a Creator is quite simply mind boggling & says nothing good about such darkened minds that are otherwise exercised in accomplishing great things for man's good.

Romans 1:20-25 speaks well on this abnormality. Even though, he who is not inclined to believe in a supernatural creator & may not set up idols to worship, yet he is persuaded that he is his own god & answerable to none else, & that his goodness comes from within him or because of compulsion from a worldly authority. To him, the rejection of God, of His creative Powers, of His Love & interest in the affairs of His creation, is an absurdity & this only shows to us who believe & to the heavenly host, that the 'light' that man believes he has, is in fact the light that leads him to greater darkness. The path he chooses may seem right but the end of it ultimately brings him to spiritual ruin ( Proverbs 16:25).

Many people believe that the soul leaves the body during near-death experiences and survives after death, but in 20 years of research on out-of-body and near-death experiences I never found any convincing evidence that this is so.
  • Meme on Matthew 24:40 - 5 years ago
Dont be decieved in the 5th seal the believers die for the word the ones left are the ones that are part of the system now.1/4 of the world will be killed the believers will be beheaded for the word and given a crown of life Rev. In trumpets a 3rd will die after that. The rest that survive will be apart of the system that has taken the mark of the beast. Jesus makes it very clear not to be deceive by man he will not come untill the 7th trumpet judgement.

It's not in the Bible. It's only a myth to justify people relying on themselves rather than God. Biblically, God helps those who depend on Him and know that without Him, they are completely helpless.

Hi there, I've never heard of such a passage in the Bible. Sometimes people mistranslate and misunderstand verses like the telephone game and end up with an entirely different phrase/meaning they repeat and assume it's from the Bible. I know of other phrases like this that a % believe, but isn't from the Bible. That's why it's best to take anything a man says with a grain of salt and just read God's Word directly. God bless.

Thank you for that nice reply brother David. Like my statement of just not calling myself "perfect". I know when I make a little mistake, with maybe some bad thoughts, say because something may annoy me very much. Like we all probably go through. I have no doubt our Father forgives me for every little mistake I may make. As in prayer always asking for his eternal mercy and forgiveness and it is done. To correct you though I do not think "anything we do is sin." I'm not redefining anything. I could probably write down about thirty things, in the Bible, we should try to stay away from and that's not everything sinful in the world. I have honestly repented, with help of a power not of my own, the Holy Ghost, and will do my best to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ always. Knowing I'm doing spiritually well. Not just thinking it. The closer you draw to our Father the closer He will draw to you. Luke 18:9-14 is a good parable of the Lord about humbleness. James 4:6.

It's very sad you say "your god" and "the God I serve." As you seem to portray I am not serving the one Almighty Holy Eternal God. Our Perfect Father in Heaven. Me thinking most who post on this site are focused on the same Almighty God. As we can tell being through Jesus Christ.

Also as you stated. This will be my last post on this subject. I just want to apologize if anything I've stated has made any kind of tension between us. As I don't want. God Bless you brother David. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please tell me if this sounds ok to you all. All it takes for me to believe is go out side and look up at the Sun that has been burning at the perfect temp to support all life on the Earth every since the day it was created and never has ran out of fuel so how many things do you know that burn that never runs out of fuel and then look at the Earth and everything in it and it is so complex and there is no way it just happen or evolved. It was all created and created by our God and no one no matter what they say could change my mind! There is not one thing that could change my mind. Praise the Lord. I really do not see how anyone could not believe that this world was created by God. Amen

I love the Lord God with all of my heart, mind and soul... He who is sovereign, reigns forever, rules Creation, the heavens and earth, beyond space and time; He who IS all Light, all Sound, all Vibration, all knowing, all seeing, always present and all powerful. There is none like Him, none before Him, none like Him after. All praises to the Sovereign Source of All. In Him I live, I breathe and I have my being.

Andrew, I believe your objection is to the use of the term "trinity" which is confusing for those who are not believers. In fact this term is used against Christianity by muslims and other pagans. As a former catholic, I can say that I believed that there was no Jesus Christ until Bethlehem. It was not until I started to read the bible that I understood that the Son of God and the Holy Spirit are not separate from God the Father. They are three distinct and eternal beings that are ,together, the one and only God.

There are two Azubahs (which means, 'deserted') mentioned in the Bible: 1 Kings 22:42, here she is the wife of King Asa & they had a son, Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became king after his father.

In 1 Chronicles 2:18, we see another Azubah, & she was the wife of Caleb. This is not the same Caleb of Numbers 13, as he was one of the twelve selected by Moses to search out the Land of Promise before entering & conquering it.

Otherwise, there isn't any further history on these Azubahs.

I think it would be safe to say that God created not only the heavens & the earth, but all the elements required to make them up & bring them into existence. If that were not so, then the question: who created the elements? Which is a question even the evolutionists cannot answer. Matter can never just come into existence out of nothing, even by chance - all things visible & invisible demand a creator. But our friends on the other side of the fence wouldn't want to face that issue - all they can do is try to deny God's existence so as to create doubt in the Truth of the Bible & of Creation.

The Year of Jubilee for Israel, came after the completion of 49 years (i.e. on the 50th year). And during this year, people were released from their debts, slave owners had to grant freedom to their slaves, & property returned back to the owners. It was a year basically dedicated to rest - similar to the institution of the Sabbath, the 7th day of the week as a rest day for Israel. So even those with farms & crops had to desist from working - so it was a time for both the man & the land to recover (there were Sabbath years as well for the resting of the land) & maybe people would attend to the more weightier matters of life.

And for the Christian, the Year of Jubilee foreshadows Christ's future work at the Cross. Through His death & resurrection, the sinner coming in repentance & faith, is also relieved from the punishment due to us & being enslaved to sin - finding our complete & eternal rest in Christ alone.

The Ahimelek of 1 Samuel 26:6, the Hittite, was very likely one of David's warriors; a foreigner, one of many, who attached themselves to David, & particularly after David was made king. Others were Uriah the Hittite ( 2 Samuel 11); Ittai the Gittite ( 2 Samuel 15:19); plus the Cherethites & Pelethites; & those mentioned in 1 Chronicles 27:27-31. These recognized David's authority of kingship & were pleased to be subservient to him & come under the true God.

And the Ahimelek of 1 Samuel chapter 21, was a priest, whom King Saul accused of being in collaboration with his enemy David, and thus had him killed by Doeg. Ahimelek is the same one (called Abimelech in 1 Chronicles 18:16) & thought to be a scribal error.
