In my opinion, if an embryo should die or a new born baby or a child who is of the age of pre-accountability lives, then that embryo or infant would go to be with the Lord. As all humans are born with a sin nature (thanks to our first parents), that nature doesn't preclude us from Heaven. It is when we commit sin because of that nature, going against the Word & Will of God, that we are accountable to God & so the need for salvation comes at an early point in human life. If the woman, in your question, is born again & she carries a child within her, then both she & her unborn would be raised in the Rapture. If the woman is unsaved, the child would still be saved.

But these are my views only & based on my understanding of mankind's culpability because of sin within him & the non-culpability of the innocent child who has not sinned.

Just to add to the other good comments given. When you have truly repented (deep contrition for our sins against a Holy God & against man) & found forgiveness that is promised from God's Word ( 1 John 1:9), then you are indeed in a right standing in God's Eyes ( Ephesians 1:3-6). If after what you have done & God has promised to do for you & in you, you still feel guilt over those sins & have no joy or peace, it seems that you have not left those sins at the foot of the cross (i.e. laid your sins upon Jesus Who came for this very purpose).

You need to determine in your heart & mind to leave them behind at the Cross & trust God for doing this & accepting you. Do you have a real sense of the Holy Spirit in you working in some ways to confirm the holy transaction that has been done? Or is this teaching of the Spirit still a mystery & an absence in your experience? Are you prepared to stand on God's Word, believing in what it says to you, or rather wanting your mind to believe & dwell on things that are past, that which was forgiven & forgotten? Sometimes the memory of our past sins can remain with us, but they shouldn't cause us to doubt God anymore, thus losing our joy & peace.

One also needs to be conscious of the lion that prowls, Satan, the enemy of God & of your soul. He not only blinds & deceives the world to disbelieve in God, but more so, attacks God's children in many ways. And one way is to create doubt (as he did with Adam & Eve) & fear. It may be that he is reaching out to you in this way to keep you bound, restless, & removing the peace that you should be enjoying. At those times at night, call out to your Heavenly Father, claim His promises to you & command the spirit of fear to depart. In your waking hours, stay alert by attending to the Word of God & prayer - Satan hates it when we do that & the Spirit of God will minister to you.

Some may say we don't live by the law but by grace , that's partly true .

    Romsns 8 .2

The law of the spirit ....

The spirit of God NEVER breaks the laws , but rather fulfills them or goes above them , but never contrary to them by doing what they forbid .

God said He would put His spirit within us so we could keep the laws , the flesh is weak and cannot keep the laws in general .

    1 John 3 v 20, 21

God looks upon our hearts , and tries them and knows them better than we do .

The heart is the very depth of our soul and spirit and mind .

If our mind is unsettled or restless we need to trust the Lord .

Yes the devil can condemn us in our thoughts and unsettle us if permitted to do so .

Get your heart right with God , it's the heart where all starts .

We can not do anything about the past unless we are able to right a wrong . For example if I stole a sweater from my neighbor I would return it , if that's impossible then that's understood by God . He knows everything. Confessions of sin sometimes requires righting a wrong .

I'm not saying this is your case but consider it .

If our heart condemn us not then we are good with God !

And we can then stand on the word , and trust in the name of the Lord Jesus ....

There was a man called George Muller of Bristol , England

    Back in the eighteen hundreds.

I have read of many famous Christian or said to be Christians . And GM impressed me the most by his testimony and Godly living . I highly recommend anyone looking into his life , much of it is available on line . God answered all his prayers large and small , he was a man of the Bible , he went to seminary and could speak 5 or more languages.

He stated that he could learn more reading the Bible being led by the Holy Spirit in a few hrs than a month in seminary .

A must read for any serious student , he shares his methods of prayer and reading the Bible , priceless knowledge, you will learn something, he was a Bible man . My kind of person !

  • Rob - In Reply on Matthew 5 - 5 years ago
If someone advises you you are free to remarry, they have no understanding of what law is , laws can not be broken , without being a law breaker and guilty of and deserving the consequences.

A person that brakes a law can be forgiven in true repentance. But they can not continue in the sin because they are forgiven, that's just crazy , but some people's understanding of law is crazy too .

When guilt attacks, counter it with what Jesus Christ has done for us:

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. ( 2Corinthians 5:21)

John chapter 15 is a valuable resource for revival and renewal. In particular, our continually abiding in Jesus Christ will keep us from becoming withered branches.

The letter to the Ephesians gives us a glorious inventory of what we have been blessed with in Jesus Christ and how to make good use of our inheritance.

1 Peter chapter 1 shows us that by faith we can rejoice even in the heaviness put on us by manifold temptations.
  • Andrew S on Galatians 6:6 - 5 years ago
You know, was studying Galatians 6:6 here and realized I memorized it in the KJV. let him "communicate all good things....". Funny, my original understanding of that verse was that IF the Lord inspires me with some revelation (actual "epipheny") by what the teacher instructs and/or in my own time & Bible study the Lord should reveal deeper things to me- Then it is my responsibility to come back to the Pastor or teacher and share with them the things which the Lord has recently revealed to me.... In other words, blessing the leader that I've been studious before the Lord and because of the leader's oversight, I've grown in understanding and revelation of God's Word.- Also this blesses "the teacher" with a form of submission in God's Holiness and instruction, showing him good faith that I'm a "good soldier" under the teacher's tutelage. (Yes, I appreciate the online studies which show in other versions clearly that the student/members should with humility and gratitude physically support or encourage the pastors and teachers in leadership- something often lacking in today's Western congregations /individual membership).- Still, I like my original King James understanding and since I'm in a present mentoring role, this is one of the verses I'm going to show my Bible student and it's various interpretations, not so I can physically gain from him, but so as he moves forward-soon w/o my influence that he can go on to become a better, more-disciplined and committed disciple-follower of Christ Himself; also as he similarly has a gift of "teaching" and has been resistant in being willing to acknowledge the obvious gifts (where he has taught in secular forums of the past) and thus submit himself to other church leadership for future training and practical use of his God-given talents. (don't worry, praise the Lord, he is getting there even presently). Amen.- God Bless all the sincere students and servants of the Lord and of His Word.

Let no man seek his own good but the good of his neighbor We should do all we can to make our neighbor wealthy by imparting some wisdom in life that will help him to get ahead The Lord will always bless you when you put the needs of your neighbor ahead of your own That is what the Lord requires of us to do justly love mercy and walk humbly before the Lord When we do this the Lord will reward us with many blessings more than we can hold.

  • Baptism and Rededication Prayers - In Reply on John 1:31 - 5 years ago
I've seen people use a swimming pool for baptisms. A hot tub too.

I was already Baptized by the Holy Spirit, but I went to a church to be baptized in water to show the spirits that were bothering me; that I belonged to Jesus forevermore. I wasn't ever going "back to Egypt". (Sin). It's not mandatory; But I felt really free of the past me, after I did it.

Some families really make a celebration when a family member is water baptised. It's a moment of joy that lasts forever.

I don't think I believe in baptizing infants. They get told all their lives that their salvation is a done deal; but they suffer lives of sinfulness, drugs, and more. Believing that all is fine with what they are doing. Some even commit suicide.

Just like me, you have to learn what it means to be born again into Christ and experience the Baptism of the Holy Spirit: who instantly comes inside to indwell the Temple of God inside of us. It's up to us not to grieve Him or to quench His Presence.

Jesus said you can curse me or even my Father; but DO NOT BLASPHEME the Holy Spirit! Of whom you are Sealed, unto the day of redemption. People can wantonly sin away their day of Grace. The Holy Spirit tried to pull us out of the fires of hell, but people do what is in their hearts.

If you are sitting on the Throne of your own heart, and worshipping Yourself, without any regard for other people... you may be self-deceived.

As my friends in Church say: get your business straight with God!!

We KNOW things aren't right between us and God. So turn around, and walk back to Your Father and REDEDICATE your life to Him! Before it's too late. Google a prayer of rededication and mean it this time. Get on your knees and put him on the throne of your heart.

He's coming back any day now! Be ready. Time is SHORT. All the signs are appearing as Jesus said in Matthew 24.

I think what happened is your reading from a Bible that is in paragraphs. The scripture number is within the paragraph. You saw verse 11 and it was next to numeral "10" and you thought it was 11 leper's.

I've never seen that before, but it happened today. :D

Please continue to pray for me that I will get my project done. Please pray for my brother-in-law as he passed away this evening from dangerous surgery he had to go through.

Please pray that my pregnancy will be a good one. I just found out today that I am pregnant and the last 5 pregnancies I have had have been miscarriages and I don't want another one.

Please pray as my sisters husband passed away tonight from a sudden heart attack. They were just married today and she is really struggling.

Please just pray for me. I just lost my mom, sister, daughter, and dad all tonight. I feel my world has just been changed from all of them gone now. My friend is having a baby tonight and it is a dangerous surgery she is going to go through. My cousins wife is battling the highest cancer level and she is more than likely without a doubt probably going to enter Heaven tonight. Please pray that I will be able to sleep well tonight and wake up tomorrow knowing that I will not have to worry about what is going on in my family because I have a Saviour that will take us through this dark valley just fine.

Thank you so much for your prayers for me and my family. We will need them as we go through these next few weeks and months and years that we will feel Jesus with us. It is with tears I am thanking you all for praying for us of what I just posted now. I also just broke my right arm and I am left handed so please pray that even though I can still write, I can be with someone.

    Thanks!

The Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 is one of the greatest commands in the Bible. Jesus told his disciples to "GO". We are to go therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the HolyGhost. Baptism is essential. If it were not, Jesus would not have given us this command. We Must baptize by immersion, the way they did it in biblical times, in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and HolyGhost. Father, Son, and HolyGhost are not a single name. So what is the name of the Father, and what is the name of the Son, and what is the name of the HolyGhost. Jesus said in St. John 17:6 that He manifested the name of the Father to the world. Colossians clearly tells us that all of Godhead rest in Jesus( Colossians 2:9). Therefore, we are to be baptized in the Name of Jesus. None of the apostles baptized using the titles Father, Son, and HolyGhost. They understood the Great Commission that He gave them. Jesus is the Name of the Father, Son, and the HolyGhost. He is the Father in creation. All things were made by Him(John1:3). He is the Son in redemption; for without the shedding of blood, there would be no remission of sin. God is a Spirit. The invisible God became visible in flesh(John1:14; Isaiah 40:3; 1Timothy3:16; Revelation 1:13; Colossians 2:9, etc) Jesus is the HolyGhost that fell on believers in the upper room ( Acts 2:4). No one in biblical times was baptized any other way--except in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This Great Commission is going all over the world. Jesus is the Messiah, He is the name of Savior of the world. Neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given whereby we must be saved( Acts 4:12). Therefore, we must adhere to the words of the Great Commission given by our Savior and go into the world baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the HolyGhost. Teaching them to observe all things, and lo I am with you even unto the end of the world

We do not know what is in store for us who are in the spirit! The spirit of life in Christ Jesus! Paul has evidently experienced these lives, the one outside of Christ, and the one inside! This chapter should we spend much time studying! These words from heaven itself, thanks be to God!

1 John 4:20, "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" In this verse, the word "brother" (Gk. adelphos) refers to one in the community of believers.

However, in other references the word can be expanded to mean all fellow men (e.g. Matthew 22:39, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."). A different word used here (Gk. plesion), but in the spirit of Christian love, we are to show love also to those whom we come across in our life's journey.

And of course, we can demonstrate love in many ways - in fact, we should go out of our way to see that our brother or sister in Christ, or our unsaved neighbours are well cared for both spiritually & physically, making their lives more easy & enjoyable & thus having the witness of God's love shown to them. How can the unsaved ever understand Who God is unless they find visible proof in those who profess to have God in them? How can their hearts & ears ever open to the Good News unless they become genuinely inquisitive to a type of love they have not known? If done for the unsaved, then how much more we need to be to those in the faith, showing a love & care that goes beyond carnal human desires or abilities.
  • Chris - In Reply on Romans 8:24 - 5 years ago
Jim, if you're referring to Jesus while He was on Earth, consider 2 John 1:7, "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist".

And Romans 8:3:"For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh".

After His Resurrection, He still had a human body: "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."

And Acts 1:10,11: "And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he (Jesus) went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

1 John 3:2, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
