Thank you so very much for your kind words and prayers for my daughter. She was baptized, and does pray, I don't think enough, or I am unsure. I am grateful for any prayers for her. I know that the only thing that can save her is Jesus, and it's her journey, I've known for years, it's painful, none the less. Again, thank you!
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 5 years ago
    Dear Aleta,

I've prayed for your daughter. I can't imagine what this feels like. It sounds like you have been praying faithfully for so long and tried to help doing everything you can think of. Ultimately it's her choice, however. No one else can save her, but Jesus, if she truly accepts and follows Him. She will then find peace, rest, purpose, and all these things will be added to her. Paul in the Bible had it rough, in prison, beaten, shipwrecked, he had a dark past, but he found the secret of being content in all situations through Christ. The external circumstances no longer were allowed to affect his internal joy. I pray this for your daughter to truly embrace and go 'all in' for Jesus. I believe this will break the bondage of addiction and so many other sins and problems that haunt people in this world. God bless you and your daughter.

This prayer is for my daughter Ginger Nicole P. She has been stuck in a cycle of meth addiction for over 20 years, and needs help. She knows that God loves her, she prays, she just can't get out of the cycle. She needs housing and job, a job that will hire felons. She went to prison for two years for self defense in an abusive relationship. While she was in prison she worked daily, and thrives on work. She currently lives in Texas near Arlington. Please, I pray for her soul, she is my child, I have literally tried everything for 25 years, from prayer, to therapy, to outward bound programs, to church, to rehabs, I spent over 100 thousand dollars on trying to help my daughter over the years. I had to go to tough love with her after attempting everything years ago. This has to be between her and God to create a miracle. I need prayers of seeing her whole and complete with a home and job, healthy and happy. Thank you so very much!

    Peace, love and light,

Aleta (Momma whose had a broken heart forever it seems)

I see God put the man in the garden, and a garden is where things grow; Eve was formed in the garden because she will be the garden of children. One river enters the garden and turns into four heads. These four heads could be a representation of a family, a father, a mother, a boy and a girl.

The genealogy of Mary is recorded in the Bible. As is Jesus's from Genesis until birth.

You can Google for Charts or maps to see them displayed; which is an easier way to go back into the Bible and "fact check" all the people. Use the Search Box on this website and put the people's names in there and the search engine will find them.

God has very carefully kept track of all the names. Reading geneologies is more interesting than most people think. I have no doubt He keeps track of ours too.

So does Satan. He has Familiar Spirits that keep track of family sins of occult nature that he can and does use against us. Unexplained spiritual attacks sometimes are running through deceased ancestors. We have to repent of those ancestors and pray for the BLOOD of Jesus to turn those curses all the way back to the Origin. We will be set free from all harassment from Satan. He's a Legalist. We see him at Gods Throne accusing people, in the Bible.

I had ancestors that were full blown mediums and psychics. I had to learn these truths fast! I lived those attacks until I learned how to defeat them. The Blood that Jesus Shed for our sins covers us all the way back to origins. He is our Advocate. I John 1. This is all in the Bible.

I'm not being a racist by saying that some people that have hundreds of years of Catholic ancestors have spiritual problems because they were not taught on these matters: especially idolatry. Idolatry is the big Door that spirits use to gain entrance. Hopefully someone who knows more Catholic rituals than I do, will be able to expose idols and rituals. Also to reveal How Jesus's sacrifice broke all curses and gave us freedom from that. In no way am I saying all Catholics are going to hell. I'm saying that chronic spiritual problems happen to everybody: no matter what religion. We take a stand against it and the Blood of Jesus ENDS the curses and harassment.

Keep this in mind when praying. Eph. 6

    Hi Sara

Thank you for your reply. I do see myself as a sinner & I do pray & ask God to forgive me daily for ALL my sins, yet I'm still waiting for my pastor to allow me to be baptised !!! I know that The Holy Spirit will not make me perfect until I go to Heaven, but will be with me until I die. I use to believe that I had to be a good person in order to get into Heaven too, but I know different now. I have already looked at the verses on how to be saved, death & salvation, deliverance & many more, but I will read the scriptures they you suggested in John & Romans also & let you know if you have any questions.

Thank you for all your help & encouragement.

God bless you & your family.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Chris,

My dad had an affair & left when I was about 9. Shortly after, I was having my photo taken with the creepy landlord at a xmas party & either accidently or on purpose touched the side of my bust which mortified me. I ran into the toilets crying & told my cousin & she told my dad's g/f. My dad's g/f told me to not tell my dad & spoil the party because my dad would beat him up & end up in prison. (This taught me to not trust people when bad things happened because they wouldn't believe me & I didn't matter.) I went on to be sexually, emotionally, physically & mentally abused in my teens & early 20's by a number of different people & never told anyone.

I moved in with my dad & his g/f when I was 11. My dad's g/f never made me feel welcome, only spoke to me when she had to or for show in front of my dad. I moved out when I was 16 because I had a row with his g/f because their daughter kept going in my room & ruining my things, but she never seemed to ruin any of theirs ? Anyway, I ended up swearing at his g/f & slammed the door in her face (not literally). Because my dad's g/f never makes me feel welcome, I now have a rocky relationship with my dad & only see him briefly on his b/day, father's day or xmas to give him his things & I also feel obliged to buy her xmas & b/day things to keep the peace. I try to take them when she's at work because she still makes me feel unwelcome. This has gone on for over 30 years, so unfortunately I can't just say how I feel because on the odd occasion when she triggers me with her degrading comments & I have spoke up, my dad takes her side & makes me feel like the bad guy, so I don't want to completely destroy my relationship with him by me dragging the last 30 odd years up with no witness to back me up & make myself look like a trouble maker. I want to forgive them & have asked God to forgive me & them, but I still feel hurt.

God bless you & your family

    Kind Regards

    Claire

Truly i believe you are correct in saying that Jesus has power over everything. The storms are indeed a fact of life in everyone's life. What better way to lead an unbeliever into the realm of peace through faith in the gospel? Seeking the truth , the path of righteousness is not without trouble! This is the growing process of God, the bible calls sanctification! When we See a storm coming, we can take cover. Its the storm that happens suddenly, that will make us call on Him! st After we have experienced these sudden storms in our life we can look back and give Him the glory for saving us! The wind can be fierce, like you say it comes quickly on this lake. The same way the holy spirit will come on those that believe the gospel found in Jesus Christ.

My response to Claire from the other thread. Page 1.

Hi Claire. We're glad to help with some advice as we know you're in a difficult situation & struggling with Church, etc. To your points:

    a. When a person is saved (born again), it means that God does a special work in that person's life after she comes to the point of realizing that her life of sin or rejection of God is weighing heavily on her heart & there is nothing she can do to clean herself up & so is cast upon God for His mercies. Without that conviction of sin, there can be no salvation, otherwise we end up being like some in Churches: going regularly to feel good or try to make God feel good about them. This is not re-birth. So after acknowledging our sin & realizing that only Jesus Christ, God's Son can pay the price of your sin which you couldn't, then you run to the Cross & cling onto Jesus asking for forgiveness (not a physical cross but from your heart).

If you have truly come for the sake of the burden of your sinful life & not for any other motive, then God receives your repentance, forgives you your past sins, gives you His Spirit to be in you to give you a new life in Christ. The old sinful nature still remains, to which Satan appeals & causes us to stumble, but God's Nature (Spirit) will always work against the Old nature, which is when you immediately know when you stumble into sin (e.g. when the carpet salesman asked you about giving you an earlier quote & you lied - you immediately knew you had done wrong as the Spirit convicted you).

Jesus referred to His Spirit as the Comforter ( John 16:7). The Spirit's Work in the believer is to comfort, teach, convict of sin, encourage, help in praying, becoming more Christ-like, help to gain victory over sin ( 2 Corinthians 10:2-6), loving God & others with godly love ("agape"), etc. So you always have God in you as He has sealed you as belonging to Him for all eternity ( Ephesians 1:13, 14).

The elder lady bragging that she is been saved for over 40 years but she's a busybody queen. All her victims are her best friends and put tears on her eye to make it more believable. Many believes her and have a big smile. I'm just wondering how the bragger Christian tells so much lies against all her victims and not feeling bad at all. Actually she take pride when she hurts people over and over. She never sorry to all her wrong doings. How can you FORGIVE somebody like this 70 years old lady and claimed a Christian for over 40 years?

Hi Lester, all of us on this Site are like you: asking questions, entering into discussion, learning, etc. So, answering a question will depend on who sees your question & if they are able to answer it. So, it shouldn't take too long (I think I answered yours fairly quickly yesterday), but sometimes people don't get an answer for a longer time or not at all. There are some of us 'regulars' here that try to help when we can & sometimes others offer comments also so you can get answers that you can consider & decide. Blessings.

    Hi again Chris,

Thank you for your continued support & advice. Yes, that was the verse I was referring to, So if we have to be born again first, then how would we know when we've born again ?

I have a couple of testimonies, but my younger pastor says that they are not sufficient for being baptised, So at this point I'm unsure what he wants from me.

    1st testimony

I had depression & anxiety & it got to the point were I didn't want to wake up anymore. This night I woke up from a nightmare sobbing & asked God to give me peace & within a couple of mins I felt peace & contentment & was able to go back to sleep. (Praise God !!!)

    2nd testimony

I was in a carpet shop with my mum for the 2nd time as we had been a few weeks earlier. Before we went in I said to my mum, I'm not going to mention the price that he gave me last time & see what price he says this time because I thought it was expensive last time, so tried another shop which was more expensive. Last time the carpet that I wanted was 10 per sq meter. The guy asked me if he had given me price last time & I said no. Then my mum turned round & said yes !!! (Did my mum honestly just say that & make me look & feel like a complete idiot !!!) I immediately felt condemned for lying & couldn't wait to get out of the shop, so that I could repent & ask for God's forgiveness, but I had to endure this shame for longer whilst he looked at the price & said this is not right. He said that he had made a mistake & that the carpet was 12 per sq meter. I just felt like he was just trying to take advantage me, so I said I'd let him know. I wasn't able to repent for a few hours later because my mum came back to mine for her tea as usual, but I finally repented & felt relieved. (Praise God !!!) I have just had my carpets fitted by another shop for 5 per sq meter, so I didn't have to go back to that other shop. (Praise God !!!) God is good !!!

God bless you & your family.

    Kind Regards

We're not given any details after the Ark finally rested on dry land & the Covenant God made between Him & all generations issuing from his sons (i.e. to set a rainbow in the sky as His promise never to destroy the Earth with a flood).

We do know that Noah & his wife looked after some land, planting a vineyard ( Gen 9:20) & eventually he died at 950 yrs of age (verse 29). He would have been over 500 yrs old when the Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat, so was still in his 'prime' though we don't know of his wife's state. Since the Bible only speaks of the Earth being populated through his sons (verse 19), we have to assume that these boys were all he had, for if there were any more sons, then we might well have races that are separate to what is revealed. Maybe he had daughters.
