Just be careful with what you are stating about the Lord. You yourself are going to have to answer for all these things. Like these false things " the creator of the universe states in writing that slavery is perfectly acceptable. Beating your slaves is fine. Enslaving children is fine." The Lord never states "it's perfectly acceptable" as you state. It is stated that "if" it is done. Not that it's perfectly fine how you state. How you put children in there is totally false. I'm not getting into this discussion just be careful with, looking to the Old Testament, trying to point your finger at God. He sent Jesus Christ which is a free gift of salvation from Him. No matter what we have done. He still loves us and always will.
Jesus Christ is Lord. God is Love. God Bless you.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. ( Micah 5:2)

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? ( John 14:9)
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. ( 2 Corinthians 5:19)
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. ( Colossians 1:14-17)
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. ( Colossians 2:8-9)
Hebrews 7:3, speaking of Melchizedek, says: "but made Like unto the Son of God.."

John 6:38-39 "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."
There may be more. Hope this helps a little. God Bless.
I have never tried to pray against a curse, and I didn't think that I should need to do so today, as I had been assuming that it had completed its work!
But now, after reading your reply, I'm wondering about that - as I'm still ill from the heart condition that the heart attack caused me to develop, I've been battling with very difficult symptoms ever since. And if I'm not careful, I sometimes get that ominous feeling of that attack threatening to come back. I've been on a ton load of medication for years trying to prevent that, but it's now not as effective as it used to be, and I'm having to look for alternative medication.
So now I'm wondering if that curse might actually still be active???
And yes, I totally get that demons are invisible entities, and it makes a lot more sense to my natural mind today than it used to. I've seen a real life documentary filmed by the very people who were experiencing demonic harassment, and you even saw the demon's footprints in it - on the ceiling. That really shook me up, I must say.
But some of them apparently are able to manifest physically for a short while. From what I understand so far, it involves freqencies - but because their own frequencies are not compatible with our planet, they can't keep up the physical manifestation for more than a short while. But that doesn't mean they're not still there in their invisible form - just what I saw in that documentary proved that to be factual.
I'm also so pleased to have received the Ephesians 6 scripture link from you - thank you for that, I hadn't read that for so long, and it's been just wonderful revisiting it to read about the FULL armour of God!
Thank you so much again for letting me know about praying against curses - I'll have to look into that! I DO believe that everything is possible with God!
Wishing you God's best blessings, and that you keep safe and well in Him!
Ps. 34:19 "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."
I Peter 5:9 "Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."
James 5:13-16 "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
Here, we have a few examples of afflictions mentioned. Sickness can occur in saved or unsaved, the difference is those that are saved can call on God to heal them through faith. See the progression in this passage in James? Vs 13 Afflicted? Let him pray. Vs 14 then call for the elders, as in the pastor of your local congregation to pray for you after anointing with oil. 15 Something to keep in mind is that the word sin, as defined in Webster's dictionary, can be a fault, there are sins against God or against fellow man. Salvation is to remedy that sin committed against God only. This doesn't correct your faults, or these trespasses, transgressions, sins against another person. Mat. 6th forgive trespasses.
Think of the 1 lying in the bed Jesus healed of sin and illness, Mark 2. Jesus healed and saved him. 2 separate miracles.
