Thank you all so much for responding about the true body of Christ. I believe the same as you said. My spouse follows another who claimed the church was an actual property.

    Another question please.

I believe it was Mishael that I saw put his thought of who "us" and "our" is. As I agree. I believe this would pertain to the Father, the Word(who became flesh and dwelt among us or Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost. As you have God(the Father) creating the Heaven and Earth in Genesis 1:1. Then the Holy Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters in Genesis 1:2. Then God spake all things into existence with his Word through the rest of Genesis 1.

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The "Godhead".

Hope this helps some. God Bless.

Jesus and God are the same person. The discussion in Genesis 1:26 is God (or Jesus) talking to himself. To better understand read the next verse ( Genesis 1:27) Hopefully that makes since.
  • Rob - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
I heard some one talk about this a while ago you need to go to the original language , it's not as it seems in English .

Also you can not read into the scriptures something it's not saying . Often when scriptures are silent or vague it's because it's not really essential to know . Forcing the word to say something it's clearly not is called reading into the scriptures and it's sinful to do that because then it would be adding to the word of God . Revelation warns about adding and taking away from the word .

  • Rob on James 2 - 5 years ago
    James ch 2 v 19

Thou believeth there is one God ; thou doest well : the devils also believe and tremble .

7 times devils spoke to Jesus and called him " Son of God " never God , but they know there is only One God according to James .

    Matthew 4.3

    Matthew 4.6

    Matthew.29

    Luke 4.3

    Luke4.9

    Luke4.41

    Luke8.28

They know the truth , but do it not .

The point is that works of faith are what's really important, and it's our works and all men's works that are going to be judged not what we believe alone .

We can do nothing apart from Jesus the Son of God born in Bethlehem died on the cross for the sins of the world , raised up 3 days later seen alive by more than 500 people, taken up into heaven and coming back again as he left but in Glory ... be ready ....

Isaiah 45:7 (KJV) I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. It couldn't be clearer. God told Isaiah that He creates evil. And what about Jobs words? Job 2:10 And he said to her: Thou hast spoken like one of the foolish women: If we have received good things at the hand of God, why should we not receive evil?

Hi Chris, I'll try to add into the ongoing discussion. Let's consider Paul in Romans 7. It appears that Paul starts giving his account of his own past starting in verse 7, as here he starts mentioning "I" as in I had not known sin. He then goes on to tell us his past experiences with sin and the warring within. I do not see a change of historical present until a change seen in Ch. 8 where Paul then begins declaring no condemnation and freedom as a current status.

Judas may or may not be a great example, so let's stick with Paul instead. He was present when Stephen was stoned, mentioned in Acts 7:58. Acts 8:1 Saul or Paul is mentioned again as consenting to Stephen's death, and having authority to apprehend Christians, sending them to jail, persecuting the Church. Ac. 9, Saul/Paul was converted from sinful to saved. He acknowledged the Lord, and though it's not fully described, Paul repented there. Ac. 9:17 Ananias prayed with Brother Saul who had to be saved to be a spiritual brother, received sight and was filled with the Holy Ghost, sanctification only does this. Paul then begins to preach in vs 20. From now on, Paul no longer took Christians prisoner but taught apn preached about Jesus and salvation from sin. Also note that the Jews that once held Saul in admiration for capturing Christians, now fought against him, and sought to kill him. Salvation and sanctification change people so much that friends of the past look and act differently towards the saved. Paul was feared by the apostles, but later they recognized the changes God had made in Paul's heart and actions. There is a need that others can see the change in a person that is saved.

Similar to Adam due to my saved and sanctified experience? Yes, excepting Adam and Eve were created sinless and I had to gain sinless life via repentance to be saved and then later to be sanctified to be rid of the inherited sin passed on from Adam's fallen state.

I'll add more later. Hope this helps some. Good day to all.

I think it would be more accurate if we would distinguish between the descendants of the house of Judah ('Jews'), descendants of the house of Israel ('Israelites'), and gentiles (those who are not descended from Jacob (Israel)).

Both houses of Israel (house of Israel and house of Judah) generally came to reject God and were eventually swept away by agents of God's anger.

The house of Israel (sometimes called Ephraim or Samaria) was taken into captivity by the Assyrians.

Jews self identify as descendants of the house of Judah. They were largely taken into captivity by the Assyrians just a few years after the house of Israel was taken by them. The remainder of them (Jerusalem) were taken captive into Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar a century or more later. These Jews (of Jerusalem) who were taken into Babylonian captivity were given permission to return sometime after 70 years of captivity. At Jesus' first advent He received a mixed reception from these Babylonian Jews. According to tradition Jesus' disciples took the His message to different parts of the world where they were martyred for His Word.

The rest of Israel (house of Judah and house of Israel) did not return to the land from Assyria and are sometimes referred to as the lost tribes of Israel. God said that He would sift them through the nations and will regather them. It is my belief that they would come to be receptive to the teachings of Jesus and accept Him as their Saviour. For the most part they no longer know who they are and would even refer to themselves as gentiles just as the New Testament does. There is a fair amount of general support for this view in the Bible.

My comments about Romans 9 v 7 & 8 Kjv. Natural Israel are not the absolute Children of God as they have to be bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the words of God,Jesus told nic. a jew he had to be bornagain in order to enter the kINGDOM. Its the children of Promise that are counted for that good seed which is the H.G. That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit Jesus said meaning the H.G. The Child of PROMISE,The baptism of the H.G. and FIRE A HEAVENLY PEOPLE THAT ARE THE VERY SPIRT OF GOD THE children of PROMISE that are gonna be born in us sinners, our new innerman, our new heart and new spirit which is the very kingdom of God in humanity via his seed th word. Not all Israel is Israel its the heavenly seed the word that initiates the Israel of God,As we have borne the image of the earthy ( OUR OLD ADAMIC nature ) We must also bear BIRTH the image of the heavenly the very image of God. To whom the word came ( his seed ) it made them Gods and the scriptures cannot be broken. God is spirit and Jesus says that which is born of the spirit is spirit thus the H.G is the PROMISE Child, the multiplication of God. Everytime God refers to himself as the FATHER IMPLIES HE IS GONNA HAVE SONS,ABSOLUTE SONS LIKE Jesus was an absolute Son, not a TOKEN SON LIKE ADAM 1. Thats y God made that Promise he wants a posterity, Jesus was just his 1st born of many Brethren thus the sower and his precious seed the words of God that are spirits, The Israel of God are spirits the H.G PLURAL that is gona be born in humanity. I will multiply thy seed as the Stars of Heaven, Thus Christ is gona be a father simply b/c of his seed,They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin,He wants to propagate VERY GOD in humanity with his seed THE WORD ,The book contains the words of everlasting life the Good seeds,The new COVENANT Jesus words thus he is the Author of that book,He wrote it with his own blood. In the volume of the BOOK it is written of me i delight to do thy will O GOD. The kingdom .

    Romeo,

Verse 4 seems like a good indication of their identity ( Revelation 20:4). "... and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Since those who suffered persecution/death for the witness of Jesus were by and large what you call "gentiles", I would venture to guess that most of them are "gentiles" with some believing "Jews" among them.

I think it would be more accurate if we would distinguish between the descendants of the house of Judah ('Jews'), descendants of the house of Israel ('Israelites'), and gentiles (those who are not descended from Jacob (Israel)).

How quiet the world is before the true outcome that is going to happen. Where is the Love of others from their heart as before. I wish l knew. Their minds on their problems or their greed. Waxed cold in these days. Hurting of kids and animals. Selfish love of self. Uncaring feelings of others. Poor Jesus how He must of felt when He walked this Earth. He wanted the best...but got the worse of mankind. Always fighting Satan. Going to the Father for help. He carried on in His days serving others. So strong in His Love for others before His self. Do you know the Strength of True Love when it comes to you? I do..

Jesus showed me long ago...l will never forget it....NEVER!!!

Jeremiah 32:42: "For thus saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.", I think is the verse you're thinking of - very good memory you have there, Whit!

Tis true, even the mistreated dog will crawl back to his master & hopefully that will soften the master's heart & the dog will receive a loving reception. Yet, we know that whatever & however life throws curved balls at us, our Master will always be there with open arms & a loving embrace. Continue to enjoy your Master's Love & Healing in every area of your life.

    Hi Donna,

I also believe that we should be led by the Holy Spirit, but I'm not sure if my gut instincts is the Holy Spirit or whether I'm being deceived by a religious spirit because I have only been a believer for less than three years, and also everyone around me thinks that I'm the one in error which doesn't help the situation.

Thank you for your encouragement and the scriptures that you suggested. I will study them and ask for guidance in prayer.

God bless you and your family.

    Kind Regards

Christ spent the night in the mount of Olives. He has indeed no where to lay his head, the animals have more comfort than he has. The church , not unlike today wants nothing more than to take away Christs diety. They will do anything to discredit the life of Christ and his universal judgment of sin. He has this authority given to him by His Father .These who would use the sin of others , who by the way , was no coincidence, of being found in adultery. If in fact these

judgmenters knew these couples sin could have more than once before judged them already , but would not for who what reasons? As said Christ ,"He who is without sin among you"? Christ has well pronounced them as liars. And they are as their fathers. Just the way they laid it out there for Christ, Christ gave it right back at them! WITH AUTHORITY!

    Hi Ss,

I agree, but feel I will fall into error if I stop going to church because nobody around me are Christians, which already causes problems.

God bless you and your family.
