I'm actually not going to get into this discussion with you. Please don't take it the wrong way. What's more important than the shape of the earth is the Lord. That's all that really matters. I totally understand if you don't agree with me, or others that don't believe we're on a ball, and I love you just the same. As long as you are with Jesus Christ who is the only way to the Father. You are Blessed.

But it seems as though my whole family have turned against accept my son who accepted Christ in his life and his family. How do really know what truth is? Have you ever been on the wrong side of something before?

I have a hard time relating to the flat earth perspective for 2 reasons:

1. Scripture

2. Scientific evidence that can be easily reproduced

So, I guess I'll offer my evidence and you can offer yours?

1. Isaiah 40:22 - says the circle of the earth. I interpret this as a globe, not a flat pancake.

2. There are so many easy experiements you can do on your own. I've already done them, so I know the Earth is round, but you can easily do these yourself:

a. Fly in a plane around the world. You can easy fly to where you are right now to the opposite side of the earth and have your phone on with GPS tracking and track the GPS coordinates of where you are at all times. Then book your return flight the opposite way back home. Just keep going in the same direction and you will end up where you started at home.

b. Secondly, you can do this easier and cheaper. Get 2 stakes identical in length and put one in your yard and setup a web camera which can monitor and measure its shadow. Then go on a trip to either west or east and set up the same stake in the ground at the exact same depth with a level- perfectly straight then measure the length of the shadow. When you measure it simply compare it to the shadow on your phone or tablet with your web cam and you can see the shadow lengths are different. If you measure this with the distance away you are you can calculate the diameter of the earth.

c. Get on a plane and go very high and see curvature.

d. Get on a plane and fly towards the west and you will have a more than 24 hr day, because of the sun and curve of the earth, the opposite if you travel east.

e. There's countless photos/videos documenting the earth. You can make your own too, release a balloon high in the air with a camera.

f. If earth was flat it would have an end, but there's no end. You can walk, boat, fly yourself to prove it. I have already. Why don't you?

Even thou there is a tree called lucus tree. These were bugs.

Jesus was died on a Friday (good Friday) and rose on a Sunday. The 3rd day. The Lords day.

I'm wondering, in sincerity, if you can explain how the earth is flat. We see satellite imagery that shows a round globe correct? My question is not in disagreement or agreement but interested to know what has lead you to such a firm belief!

If the earth were flat how would a satellite orbit around it in a circle and not see some corner or "other side?"

That we should not rely on our flesh ,or our education, or our religious upbringing. Our frame of mind should be to attain the righteousness of Christ. That we can attain the power of his resurrection. fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death. Then can we conquer those who are against us ,with the power of the holy spirit. It is impossible to war against the evils of dogs ,evil workers ,the concision, without this faith in Christ. This power comes from above. From heaven!

My question is Psalms 91 verse 15 where it says he shall call upon me and I will answer him and I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honor him who is him is my question

Federico, My opinion: I feel for you, my friend. This could be mental or spiritual. Are you a Christian? Did you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior of your life? Are you living by grace through the Holy Spirit like Acts 2? Are you truly living as a servant of Jesus Christ as the LORD of your life? That means not holding on to sin especially sin of the past... but asking for forgiveness daily (repentance..."Confess your sins and He is just and faithful (righteous) to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness". If so and even if not so, if it is spiritual or mental, I believe that you should go to a Spirit-Filled Christian Minister (Counselor) who can help you in Deliverance. A prayer of Deliverance can set you free...Deliverance has helped many individuals; especially new Christians who came out of the world and who are now living for Jesus Christ. I, myself had gone through a deliverance prayer with a Minister when I first came out of the world. Not spoke about much nowadays; but it could be an answer to your problem.. God loves you and wants to care for you! He gives us Counselors so we can be helped. All of us...

What I learned reading this verse and those around it: We, who are in the moment connected to the Holy Spirit, can discern correctly God's will. However, we will not be understood correctly by those who are not. The world's proposal that to be understood is the pathway to peace is futile.

Those moments when we are not connected to the Holy Spirit, we cannot correctly discern, we are limited to mere human comprehension. We are vulnerable, and, if we turn to pride, we err. Explains to me, why so many proclaiming Christ can deny their involvement in horrendous actions without regret, remorse, or contrition.

Lesson to me: Be real AND get connected at least once a day if not moment by moment.

Have you noticed how close God is to you? He is waiting while your struggles from the dark side come upon you. Like me l have learned to take one day at a time. Trying to hear God when He leads me toward a person or situation of a need. I walk into the conflict for others as this world sees it...and l use God's way of solving it. Putting the whole armor on, l let God solve the problems thru me. What a sad world this has become. The darkness over whelms others that do not see the Light of God. The more you have been thru in your life-- the more of a fighter for others-- as Jesus was in His days, you are in these days. The Heavens are real. I have seen them in an after death. The Book of Life is real....everything the Bible has shown in the writings from long ago is ALL REAL!!! GO TO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. PRAISE HIM!!!!! As you have probably read 2 Peter chapter 2 from verse 1, Peter here is speaking against these false teachers (like the false prophets of old) that will bring into the Church heresies & false doctrines.

You would have read Peter's vivid description of these false teachers, as those that sat & fellow-shipped in the Church & seemingly did all the right things, but wickedness was brewing in their minds to twist Scripture & lead believers into sin. We're not given specific examples of what they did or taught but in verse 20, we read that even after knowing about Jesus & all that the Cross accomplished for them, they still remained unregenerate & vile people. And their evil was so great that it would have been better for them not to have known the Truth than to reject & twist it in such a manner. Peter is probably emphasizing that there is more hope for a sinner to first hear & accept the Gospel message of Jesus, than for these false Christians/teachers to ever find place of repentance in the future (verses 20, 21).
