  • Onyekachukwu Ogechi Levinus Alaka on John 3:5 - 5 years ago
Jesus proclaimed to Nicodemus that one must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. Since Adam and Eve, mankind has been cut off from God. The design of the Tabernacle, the Temple, and the worship system under the Old Covenant pictures God as distant and virtually unapproachable. Man in his natural condition, having a carnal mind and dead in his sin, is certainly shown as away from God. Though it is necessary for an individual to be born again to enter God's Kingdom, it takes a gracious and miraculous act-completely on God's part-to close the gap between Him and those He calls ( John 6:44).

No one can arbitrarily volunteer for entry and be accepted; a person cannot cause himself to be born again. Flesh does not produce redemption. Unless one is born of the Holy Spirit, whatever one does in the flesh will not make him spiritual in the biblical sense. The Bible shows that the natural mind of man is at war against God and that it is not subject to God's law and cannot be ( Romans 8:7), expressing the harsh reality of the carnal heart of mankind.

When Paul writes that the unconverted are dead in trespasses and sin, he means exactly that. Regardless of how sincere or religious they might be, such people are lifeless in terms of true spiritual life that is given by God. They are part of the old, natural creation and are spiritually lifeless unless and until-and completely at His discretion-God graciously gives life by His Spirit. Paul writes, "For He says to Moses, 'I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.' So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy".

Actually. He was from Nazareth, in Judea, and the Jewish laws number 593 & 594 state that a Nazarite shall permit his hair to grow and not cut his hair. So he could have had longer hair. Should it really matter? God Bless

God would not send an adulterer, liar, and perverted person to lead a country of good people and it is shameful for anyone to think the He would. Apparently you fail to remember who it is that rules the Earth until the Second Coming. "Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." John 14:30

You would be hard pressed to remember, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20.

You are very welcome. I myself have never experienced that from anyone much less a Pastor. As I have only attended one church since last year. Because, to me, the ministry did not really have the right message. Only going there a few times. The praise music/singing before and after the ministry was the best part in my feeling. Also just being around, and talking with, other believers in Christ.

That does sound very hypocritical about all those things with the person fasting. Your thoughts I also agree with. Isaiah 58 is a great chapter on true fasting. Also your perception of 1 Corinthians 13 is spot on, in your reply to Chris, and exactly as I see it as well. Love others as our Eternal Father loves us.

Limitations of the flesh overshadow humanity and the devil has made it look like it is difficult to obey. Without the presence or the indwelling of the holy spirit the flesh will take over and cost human delay in fulfillment of their destinies. Our Master Jesus is continuously in the prayer alter making intersessions for the saints for their perfection of every imperfections in their lives. Disobedience is too costly. Who can bear the cost? Only the accuser of our brethren. Jesus is LORD

Hello, .02 here. Not every single story here is a vision from God. I really hope one day that people see that we are not here alone, that is also said in Genesis. People make this issue complicated, while being the beginning it is stated that not just the Earth was created but everything we see and will find that in the universe it was not subject, it was just Good =D

by closing off your mind to everything possible with thoughts through ( YOURE ) diligence not someone's opinion. people are wrong all the time, everyone is wrong. Like God said don't worries about it here, just look up and go there and see everything God has created alive or not.

why does the Bible not say anything about a demon portal?

i once listened to a secular band called nightwish

    then a demon portal opened

and my preacher is now in it.

    He wont

    leave

    i have tried anything.

I can not make him leave.

HE has been evil towards me in 6 years now.

And he wont repent of that demon portal

(what a small thing to do - to repent of a demon portal you might think but he really will not)

    bye

    2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

    4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these ALSO resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, REPROBATE concerning the faith.

9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall WAX WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived.

  • Marilyn T on Psalms 25 - 5 years ago
This Psalm was laid on my heart. It is so comforting to know that God does not " Remember " our sins once

we are forgiven. The one who remembers our past sins and transgressions is Satan. We are not his children

so what God says is what count. We do not have to ask for forgiveness for the same sin over and over, unless

we are committing that Sin again. We must remember that God will not strive with us and He is not to be

played with. I love God because I am his child , forgiven and my name is written in the Book of Life.

Exodus 32:27 Does anyone else find it interesting that moses commanded people to be slain? Isnt that murder? And what of afterward in Exodus 32:30 Exodus 32:32 and Exodus 32:33 . Here moses says Ye have sinned a great sin and now i will go up unto the lord peradventure i shall make an atonement for your sin. And 32:33 states that the lord would blot out those whom sinned against him...... What of THALL SHALL NOT KILL? Things arent adding up here for me.... iso any insight . Stephen

    1. Thanks for that. Many have been saying once a christian and that's it. As you rightly said, end time event is not salvation. You receive salvation when you become born again and grace is imparted into you. But at the seat of judgement, you need mercy. The grace given to you at salvation is to overcome sin and do what you are assigned to do. You will give account of the use of the grace; what you used the grace for: Romans 2:5-7 "5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:"

At the judgement seat, you need mercy. And mercy is at the discretion of the Lord.

    2. The issue of two men on the same bed is not in support of homosexuality. Rather, it is an assumption by those who conclude on the perversion. Being in the same bed together is not to mean they were sexually cordial. It is a family thing. And it does not mean they are both men; the word "men" could be used as unisex to mean a species. Thank you again
