    Matthew 5:48

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." It requires salvation from sin first.

    2 Timothy 3:17

"That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." This word perfect is in reference to spiritual perfection through Jesus Christ. It is not to be confused with physical perfection, which is not possible.

    Galatians 6:7

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." Those that remain in sin will be judged as lost and their reward is eternity in Hell. Those that live sinless after repentance and salvation are going to Heaven. Children under the age of accountability are innocent before God our Judge and will make Heaven their home as well.

    Titus 2:11,12

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;" Salvation from sin can be obtained here on Earth in this life. Without salvation from sin, you are still lost, and have just gained religion and are not righteous before God.

    Hebrews 4:12

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." God sees your heart's hidden intents to hold onto sin, to be deceived and to deceive others that freedom from sin is not possible. May He have mercy on you that you should see the truth before you die lost, forever to be tormented in Hell.

As a rule, I don't comment on any Passover discussions. I believe Jesus is the Son of Man and he doesn't make mistakes. I leave it at that.

What I commented on, is scriptures show that Jesus was recorded as healing the sick and lame on Sabbath at times, which caused anger from the Pharisees & Sadducees.

I have no more comment on this.

Not sure but I think it goes like this: 10 sticks with only one differant color than the others, hold all in one hand with the colored stick in the middle, let go and the colored stick points to the person in a circle. He is chosen for what purpose, I dont know. for something they agreed to , I would guess.

Dorothy, I'm thinking about your question...and thousands of years ago medicine was super simple. You can look up what are the humors of medicine. It's four colors of fluid that told what a person had. That's how they identified disease. So, no microscopes or labwork. If, you go back and read the Old Testament, about leprosy and how a person was to leave the camp and then be inspected by the Priest, it seems to be that medicine and faith and sin were all together. So, like barbers that cut our hair now, a hundred or so years ago, they were the dentist and did a whole multitude of services. In JOB, when he's stricken, his friends visit and ask what sins did he commit. He kept saying none. But, they said why else would he be stricken with the sufferings he did. In the New Testament, the man that was born blind, and was healed, the disciples asked who had sinned, him or his parents. Jesus said neither, he was born blind so God could be glorified. He was born blind so Jesus would be able to so his healing ability. Like that was the blind man's purpose. So, I'm suggesting, that in the Old Testament if a person was sick, it was believed they had sinned. So, they had to leave the camp for a week until they were clean again. Or, in some cases be unclean till evening, depending on what was done. The Priest was the healer by directing the different sacrifices. If, you were a non-believer you were kicked out of the temple. Which you see examples of in the New Testament. Jesus, had to teach and show a whole new way of thought. That's what is meant by new cloth and old cloth and new wine into old wine bottles. The Leviathan and Behemoth in JOB explained by God, tells how things (sickensses) happen, it's not because of sin as the Jewish Priest seem to teach. Non-believers were kicked out of camp, or killed. Like when Moses came down from Mt Sinai and the people had the golden calf and were worshipping that.

A Pastor recently commented on the Lord's Prayer....that when we say, " Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, " that "kingdom come" is referring to the second coming of Jesus. All my life I said that phrase, believing the "kingdom coming" in the prayer was referring to our hope that it will be so now, in our lives now. That with His help, our living will be a peaceful existence today. Of course much will happen later, but for now, we pray that our lives will be full of happiness, kindness and love.

    Hello Chris,

My thanks for your kindness, and for your well thought-out reply. I don't have much to add... I think it's as you said - at the end of the day, it is between each person and God. I don't think we can know if another person is "really saved" while we are in this temporary body. Even if we use the only measure, God's Word, can we know the true state of a person's heart?

Of course, that doesn't mean we shouldn't give God's Word to everyone as we have opportunity. God told us to exhort, edify, and encourage one another daily( 2 Timothy 4:2, Hebrews 3:13, Hebrews 10:25). I believe these things are all part of fighting the good fight of faith.

    God bless, my friend.

*strongholds-G3794-ochyro'ma=a castle; a fortress; arguments and beliefs used to defend against an opponent; per Strongs.

Paul here reminds the 'saints' that they are not ignorant of Satan's devices; that Satan concentrates on deceiving the mind, the thinking of his victims. Did he not 'change' the minds of Adam and Eve?

So, those who are not aware of Satan's 'devices', his plans, his strategies, are all focused on your mind. This awareness also helps us know how they think, how they plan and what they plan.

*casting down-G2507-kathaireo'=to take down; to destroy; to pull down; to demolish; to refute.

Bringing into captivity every thought to submit to the mind of Christ is the aim here. Yes, submitting to Christ's word, his truth; these are the 'weapons' we use to cast down or pull down all human reasoning. We must first begin in our own mind to pull down all human reasoning. Only then can we be prepared to 'pull down every thought' that is in opposition to the Christ. This one part of the spiritual war we must wage with Satan and his 'seed' Esau, the Edomite Jew.

Not knowing why this was posted here. In the past the same mentality was in my head. Purchasing firearms and whatnot. Although after receiving Christ I will never take the life of another human willingly. Even if they have come to murder me for some reason. I will be the victim. To not have the blood of anyone else on my hands.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example to follow. What did He do when they came to arrest Him to put Him to death? He knowing what was to come.

Put on love and trust in our Perfect Father. God Bless you all my brothers and sisters.

What is intriguing, about mathew,Mark, andLuke, is that because they do not read exactly the same, there must be an underlying reason the holy spirit is accomplishing. Man defines as one of the three persons in the holy trinity as being the holy spirit. Even tho we do not see Him ,He is very distinct in the sanctification of the reader! This is why Peter says that (the scripture) is of no private interpretation. This process takes time and that time equates differently with each one of us! This configuration or revelation corresponds with ones oneness with the Holy Spirit. When we are confronted with trials and situations which separate us from the word , it could be considered that these spaces in our growth are not unlike the spaces we find in the synoptic gospels, Not unlike a painting that comes together. I have often wondered why my recollection , or remembrance seem complicated, only to come to knowing that the Holy Spirit is at work. The love of Christ that surpasses all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Romans 1 is speaking of idolatry not homosexuality. Even the women left the natural use, does not mean they became lesbians, it means they were allowing men in the pagan temple of the Goddess Diana of Rome to sodomize them because that's what the goddess required, and they believed it drew them closet to the goddess. For they worship the creature . the creature was the goddess Diana- notice the word worship= idolatry. The men visiting the pagan temple were not gay, they did what the did because they believed it drew them closer to the goddess. 2. Notice paul here is addressing the church @ Rome about christians who once knew the truth and went back to their idol worshipping ways, Paul is not speaking to or about pagans, he is speaking about those who once knew the truth and departed from it. I laugh at how christians mis-quote the bible. 3. Old testament is not Christianity, Leviticus was written to jews not to christians. It's amazing how christians cherry pick the bible to bash homosexuals. Notice they never speak of if u were not a virgin upon marrying you were stoned to death, we don't sacrifice lambs anymore either. I am done with this. I got dizzy trying to explain this.

    We wrote earlier:

He (Christ) also informed them that they were not of God ( John 8:43-47). Remember now that they truly thought that they knew God and that they worshipped him in truth, but when He dwelt amongst them they crucified Him, as they could not believe His message of repentance ( 1 Corinthians 2:14) and did not like it that He convinced them that they were sinners and that they lived under the power of sin (Satan).

The messages we communicate, which are according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17), judges you and other people on this website in the same way.

Christ came into this world for three reasons ( John 16:8-11).

To reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

    - Of sin, because they believe not on me;

    - Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

    - Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

The gospel, which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ ( Gal. 1:11,12).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and that you follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH.

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

Must have been too busy and corrected a few typos. Sorry about that!

He that committeth sin of the devil; for the devil (your natural spirit) sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God, doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God ( 1 John 3:8,9).

The following is an excerpt from the Article 'What is Sin of the book 'A World Deceived'.

'Sin is not just an act such as prostitution , alcoholism, adultery or a drug addiction, as the spirit of this world has made you believe but is the fruit of every man, woman and child ( Romans 3:9; Galatians 3:22).

For the purpose of this article and to give mankind a better understanding of the title of this article, we would like to add the words 'abortion' and 'homosexuality' as another act.

Sin is often referred to in the Bible in the same context as Satan, and his servants are therefore also described as the servants of sin ( John 8:34). Sin is the natural state a person is born in and his/her whole being is sinful. It is the fruit of the natural body.

As such, every person is separated from the true and living God and under the power of Satan. Religion or any form of Baptism does not change that and is a form of self-transformation of the natural body. This is how Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light ( 2 Corinthians 11:14).
