In re-reading Daniel 10, I was unsure who this was that Daniel saw and spoke with. At the moment, I believe it was an angel.

First, Daniel stood in the angel's presence when given strength. Second, none of the references for this angel are capitalized, such as "one", except "I", which is a matter of English. Third, this being was helped by Michael, therefore, he is not Michael. Christ would not need Michael's help. Fourth, this being is sent by someone else. Fifth, other angels have had the appearance of man.

True, that others have stood in the presence of Christ, but this posture is reinforced by the fact that the references to this being are not capitalized. The KJV translators would have capitalized the references.

Jesus provides divine operating assets for life with God.Genuine believers receive freedom from guilt and the misery of the effects of sin. They also receive divine operating assets to live for the Lord day by day. The way of all divine fellowship and communion is through Christ. John 10:7, John 10:10.

John Fawcett- "Bless Be the Tie"

Blest be the tie that binds Our hearts in Christian love; The fellowship of kindred minds Is like to that above.

Before our Father's throne, We pour our ardent prayers; Our fears, our hopes, our aims

are one, Our comforts and our cares.

We share our mutual woes, Our mutual burdens bear; And often for each other flows The sympathizing tear.

When we asunder part, It gives us keenest pain; But we shall still be joined in heart, And hope to meet again.

God bless you, stay soft, keep your peace.

    To CARLETON,

There also would no longer be any need for questions or discussions about the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, for all things have been revealed to those that are 'Born of God' .

    To Carleton,

There is only one way of thinking of keys. Anyone that has been taught by God and is 'Born of God' knows that the keys referred to in the Word of God is 'knowledge' - to know the difference between good and evil and darkness and light ( Gen. 2:9). It is the key that opens and closes the door to the Kingdom of God ( Isaiah 22:22; Luke 12:52).

It is during your journey of 'Repentance' that God will teach you in all things and provide you with all wisdom and knowledge during your journey.

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and learn what 'True Repentance' means.
  • Rick Colombe on Revelation 4 - 5 years ago
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the KJV was authorized by king James and published in 1611 of which is the most accurate translation from the original to English. As for the council of Carthage, wasn't that authorized by the pope? And when one mentions "cannon" the Catholic Church believes their "cannon" is superior to scripture. When the New Testament was written, people did not have today's bible, but rather, the Torah. We all have so much to learn ....

    On 2 PETER 1:4

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe.

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

The Bible doesn't expand on Leah's 'tender eye' except to compare her to Rachel's beauty. The Hebrew word used for 'tender eye' means "weak or soft, wanting in clearness or brilliancy". So we cannot know for sure how Leah appeared but it may well have been eye lids that drooped or defective pupil alignment (just my thoughts). Whatever, Jacob was taken with Rachel' beauty, but Dad, Laban wanted the opportunity to have Leah married off first, so you have probably read of that deception in the rest of that chapter.

Husbandry, as seen in 2 Chronicles 26:10 & 1 Corinthians 3:9, relate to farming, tending to crops or management of those affairs.

In the 2 Chronicles passage, the people made Uzziah, a young man, a king in the place of his dead father, Amaziah. Uzziah is said to have been a cattleman & had vineyards. Thus stating that "he loved husbandry" = related to farming.

In the 1 Corinthians passage, the apostle Paul had just been talking about people like himself or Apollos just being ordinary men & not to be revered & get a following. Rather they both, as for all believers, were appointed by God to perform ministry on Earth: he had a church planting ministry & Apollos helped build it up, but God brought the 'increase'. Again, these verses speak of the imagery of evangelism to the way farmers do their work in the field: the farmers were Paul & Apollos & we (those, the Church, built upon Christ the foundation Stone), are Gods 'husbandry' = the plants/crops that showed the work of those others & God bringing it all together.

Yours was indeed a wonderful testimony, Richard, & it truly gladdened our hearts to read of your persistence with reading God's Word and the Holy Spirit's subsequent meeting you at God's appointed time . Stay close to the Lord, read His precious Word often, talk to Him at anytime of the day or night - His Ear is always open to His childrens' voice. The enemy of our souls, the Devil, is also lurking about us to do all manner of evil against us: doubts, fears, discouragement, old sins, etc. Stand against him as Jesus did ( Matthew 4:1-11), using God's Word & the Spirit's Power against him, resist him & he will flee ( James 4:7).

Welcome to God's family - all of us have been purchased by our Saviour's own precious blood, and not by anything we have done or could do ( Titus 3:5). Seek the Spirit's help in reading & understanding the Bible, but we're always around here to support you in the Word & victorious Christian living. Every blessing brother.

The Lord Almighty and His son Christ Jesus know that we appreciated your biblical supported comments.

Our family is like Noah's during the great flood. Since February 2020, we have been housebound, but spreading the Good News of Christ Jesus can still be done. The other day while using my credit card to buy a product I had the opportunity to speak to a fellow named Tony or Antonio in Romania. I had an opportunity to share Christ Jesus with him, and as I suggest to the persons, many who are homeless, who attend the evening services at the Sacramento Union Gospel Mission, if they accepted Christ Jesus and are in need of direction to not only read the Proverbs, but to internalize them and make them a part of their decision making processes, Antonio indicated he would look for them when he got home.

Reading is easy. Many people tell me that they have read the entire bible a few times, but many times their lifestyle and deeds don't support their reading and application of the scriptures to their own lives.

Therefore, it is necessary, again, to internalized the instructions in the Proverbs that the Lord Almighty gave to King Solomon and a few others to give to us. The Proverbs of the Lord Almighty allow one to address any issue while on planet earth. Again, reading is easy, but internalizing of the instructions of the Proverbs are challenging and difficult, especially in the areas of the flesh. After eight years, I am still learning to INTERNALIZE THEM.

While growing up no one ever stress the importance of God's Proverbs, but now as a man I fully understand their importance in our lives. If we had them in Grammar, Middle, and High school our society and nation would be much better. And for sure Satan's profanity would be taking a beating, and his movies and Dvd's would be soundly curtailed.

We need God even if we have "mammon" ... Rich people need Jesus Christ too!

But like Jesus Christ said, it's easier for a camel to pass through the "camel gates of a city" than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Heaven & Messianic Age). It's easier to drop a camel's material things but it's harder to do in the case of a man.

Hi Robert, I am glad that you are aware of some of the verses where Jesus speaks. Another way of thinking of keys is as answers. The Church built on the rock of Jesus can by its connection to Jesus in Heaven can prove answers to those seeking Salvation. If one is drawn close to The Lord and His Church an answer may be in more detail, yet if one is critical or insincere an answer may be more vague.

Jesus is the Truth, the Life and the Way. He is the answer key.
