Does the Bible mention anything about Ministers , Pastors living better than the flock. Some of them live in mansions, have big pretty cars (4 & 5 ) of them. Ranches, Business, Help me with this question.

Jesus said you must be born of water & the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God. This is part of the gospel.

Read a lot of verses starting at Gen 1 26 , Gen 3 v 22 , John 5v7 was the closest but certainly not specific enough to take seriously.

John 10.30 , Malachi 3 v 16, 17 , acts , let's face reality there is not a single verse in All scriptures that even Mention the trinity , in context for a God head namely The father , Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit!

Thanks for those inspiring words friend. However, I'm looking to find the answer to why the story of Noah, Creation and Jesus birth have extremely close parallels of others, Egyptian,Sumerian, Gilgamesh earlier tales found on ancient tablets/ Rosetta stone, etc.

The Bible is a spiritual Book. It is spiritually discerned. It's like in John 3 with Nicodemus. Jesus told him he needed to be born again. Nicodemus believed.

And so must you.

Here, again, Christ encourages His followers to keep their "hearts" from fear and trouble. This repeats the statement Jesus used to start this message ( John 14:1), immediately after predicting Peter's cowardice ( John 13:38). Here, again, scholars suggest that Jesus is distinguishing between being troubled in one's "spirit," meaning pain and unhappiness, as opposed to being troubled in one's "heart," meaning fear and despair. Jesus was said to have a troubled spirit, at times ( John 11:33; 13:21). What He calls for here is not for Christians to be stone-faced and inhuman. Rather, it's to acknowledge the reality of suffering while at the same time trusting in God to make good on His promises.

In John 16, Nicodemus asked Jesus the same question.

An authentic born again experience, means receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

John 16 ,teaches what all that entails: what the Holy Spirits Ministry is, towards New Believers. He protects the new birth and teaches it about Jesus. You can go as deeply, as you desire the sincere milk of Gods Word (the Holy Bible). We're encouraged to desire the Meat of scripture.

A lot of Christians just want the basic fire insurance. Enough to keep them out of hell.

A true believer wants the Whole Life of Jesus insurance policy with all the bells and whistles. They jump in feet first, and get Jesus all over them: and want more and more. They follow Jesus and read His Word every day of their lives. They tell others about Jesus! They are excited.

They're "all in". None of that one foot in the worldly world, and the other foot on Jesus.

There was a great song called, Love God, Hate Sin. If we don't sink our little baby Christian roots deep into Jesus, first big wind of persecution will blow you away.

Go look at That Godhead post I just posted. Why wouldn't you want to worship, adore and serve, those three persons who created all we see and know about? Romans 1

If you don't read your Bible with the Holy Spirit at your elbow... the Bible is just a book that doesn't speak back to you.

If you believe that Jesus Christ (Or whatever you call him) is not the Messiah, Then you my friend are set up to accept the false Messiah, Satan. Most Jews rejected Him the first time he came. So they will believe the lie the second time he comes in his glory. tHEY WILL BELIEVE THE FALSE MESSIAH SATAN and make a covenant with him which he will break in the middle of the 7 year period of time spoken of in Daniel. Jehovah's dealing with Isreal in this time of trouble will come to an end in the last half of the seven years.

If you had read those books and passages you would have seen that the 4 Disciples had been present with Jesus in all of His Ministry. The title, Apostles, means that person had witnessed Jesus Alive.

To deny it, is a perfect example of what an antichrist spirit looks like. You can't dispute: With what, IT IS WRITTEN.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, are known as the Harmony Of The Gospels. All four men witnessed the same events.

To William M Patterson : verse two is referring to the Holy Spirit, the holy spirit is referred to being the female part of God. In old times it was the mother in the family that taught the children their (ABC) at the kitchen table. So likewise in God's kingdom. Read proverbs, when teaching is involved in scriptures, the word her appears alot.

Matthew Henry devoted most of his life to commenting on every verse of the Bible. He died fairly young at about 55 from I believe a cardiac event. I read his commentary after almost every scripture.

His comment on the next psalm is relevant to Real Life's and Charles Pineda's comments.

We should heed his comments or at least certainly consider them.

What does 1 Corinthians 6:18 mean?

In the Greco-Roman, idol-worshiping culture of Paul's day, sex of all kinds had been normalized for nearly everyone. That included prostitution, adultery, pedophilia, homosexuality, and so forth. Growing up in this environment, it's not surprising to think some of the Christians in Corinth had trouble seeing sex outside of marriage as a big deal. Paul has spent this chapter showing why avoiding sexual immorality is so essential for believers.

Now he gives them a strategy for dealing with it: run. He tells them to flee from sexual immorality. Run away like you are escaping from something that might harm you, because it will. Even if the culture despises you for it, it's better to escape from sexual sin than to be conquered by it ( Genesis 39:7-12).

Paul shows that sexual immorality is different from other kinds of sin because it's a form of self-harm. We might commit other sins with our bodies, but sexual immorality unites us sinfully with another person. This happens on a deeply physical and spiritual level. We will experience the natural consequences of that sin at that deep level, as well.

It's important to note that Paul did not write that sexual immorality is the worst of all sins, as we sometimes conclude. Instead, he is combatting the casual attitude toward sexual sin carried by some Christians in hyper-sexualized cultures. In addition to hurting others, sexual immorality contributes to our own deep pain. It's no more or less a sin than any other, but human cultures tend to treat it more casually than other errors. I so appreciate your comments. To Real Life, I have wondered if the Covid pandemic, earthquakes, locusts in I believe southern Africa recently are an expression of God's displeasure and an encouragement for all lambs to get back to what matters and that is doing God's will and learning to hear him and stop sinning though we are sinful creatures.

The Dems don't seem to think properly. Too loose on morals and not aligned with scripture in my opinion.

This is certainly a unique time in the history of this Earth. Rome and Greece probably never thought they would end but they did. Likely same with the Aztec people.

I think, I could be wrong, but these powerful cultures were around for about 500 years. A drop in the bucket of time compared to eternity.

Being ready to go to me means being ready to go as in "to the next life".

Make the effort to hear His will and to do His will. Pray, have conversations with God, know this---He does not stray, He is always with us. We are the ones that stray like toddlers who think they are fine without their parent toddling off to far away.

What we all need to remember is.......it is not our salvation!!

The Lord saves us when we come to Him as broken repentant sinners and as someone mentioned above we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Ephesians 1:13.

Someone else mentions Judas Iscariot. I don't believe he had the holy spirit, I believe he is the son of perdition and remember Jesus says about whoever he will touch with the "sop", interesting initials.

We are part of the body of Christ if we are truly saved. Do you really think He will amputate us if we commit a certain number of sins and cause us to lose the salvation that He has given us. It isn't ours, it's His free gift to us.

Remember too that when Judas killed himself Jesus hadn't died so the new testament and the new dispensation of the church age where we have eternal security hadn't come into place. They didn't have eternal security during the time of the old testament, remember how the Holy Spirit left Saul. It also left Samson but came back to him. I truly believe that the books of Hebrews especially and also James are written to Jews during the time of Jacob's trouble, which hasn't happened yet, because the body of Christ won't be there, we will have left to be with the Lord, see 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18. It is so important to rightly divide the word of God as it is all writted to us, but not all of it for us 2 Timothy 2:15. If we don't rightly divide it that's when we make a mess of it and start thinking parts contradict other parts when they don't. I praise the Lord for showing me this.

Of the books of Matthew,Mark,Luke or John did any of them hear Jesus preach?

Jude verse 3 plainly states that the FAITH was once delivered unto the NT saints , this is the Doctrine of Christ and of the Apostles.

Nothing more is needed .

2 Timothy 3 . 16 Confirms this .

John14:27 mean

Here Christ is explaining the he has come to teach the pure truth or 'new wine'. In order to preserve this 'new wine' the Jews had to let go of the 'old wineskins' or traditional teachings of Judaism. Judaism is a manmade religion created while the Jews were in captivity in Babylon 500 years before the coming of Christ. When Christ arrived he exposed their religion as false in Matthew 23. It was false because it led the people away from the Word of God. Christ's teachings or 'new wine' led the people back to the Word, but this created a dilemma for the people. They could not preserve Christ's teachings while clinging to Judaism or the 'old wineskins'.

The lesson here is we have to abandon the false teachings of these man-made religions, pray for Holy Spirit to guide our minds to the spiritual truths of the Word. Yes, we might need some guidance for understanding, but ultimately we must rely on Holy Spirit to elevate our minds to the spiritual level of Christ's teachings. I pray this is helpful to you. Shalom.
