I believe that water baptism is very essential. It is a public show that accounts for us walking in newness of life. Jesus was baptized and The Holy Ghost descended upon Him, followed by the voice from Heaven that said "This is My beloved Son..." That shows that the example was set by our Heavenly Father who was sinless. We all should strive to follow that perfect example.

Thanks T. I believe the Holy Spirit leads in these scriptures as well as the entire Bible in their interpretation. I am at peace in standing opposed to the thought of adding another visit/earthly reign of Jesus to this earth. The second coming of Jesus will gather His faithful lambs.

Many times even in the present problems we are facing world wide (Covid-19), I wonder if we as believers finds it at all possible to take refuge in the words of God. For many years we read and preach about God's goodness and His ability to protect His people in these uncertain times, and I have seen so much fear among believers. My question is where is the Faith in God that we should be putting into practice in days such as these. We were fore warned that " Perilous times will come, this world is not our final destination. We are pilgrims, sojourners, that are passing through. Let us lift up our heads as The King Of Glory will soon return for His bride.

Please do understand we are just His sevants, called to spread His word and the teachings of Jesus Christ according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive (John14:17). Please note the word 'cannot'. Also, please do understand that, while it confounds many, blessings and salvation can also come from God as a result of our message.

Hello, just because Jesus walked with man on the earth the first time does not mean that he has to walk the earth a second time. For example, Jesus was the second Adam but he was not the first Adam.

In order for there to be a second coming, there had to be a first. Jesus did walk this earth some 2,000 plus years ago. That was His first coming. His feet were physically on the ground. At His second coming, He will again physically step foot on solid ground. However, at the rapture, Jesus does not come all the way to the earth. We meet Him in the air. So the rapture is separate from His second coming. At the rapture, we will be taken into heaven to partake of the wedding feast while chaos will be taking place here on the earth. Afterward, when Christ does come back at His second coming, all those who were raptured, we come back with Him. Christ's second coming will be His "Triumphant Return." He is coming to rule and reign. He will come on a white horse, and all His people coming with Him will also be riding white horses.

Please pray for my children to all be saved and pray that the Lord continues to have mercy on the United States before it is too late.

My uncle is dying. I am praying that God has mercy on my aunt and her son, who are not strong during this time. May God come to them and let them know that He is God and ALL things are possible, if only we believe. My uncle is not a spiritual man, but he's a good man. I pray that God heals his body, if it's His will, I pray that God strengthen my aunt and my cousin and comfort their hearts, minds and soul. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

It is an extensive list with much more information added to the topic & will give you the answers you seek, with supporting Scriptures.

The list of God's Judgements begin with the Judgement of Satan & His (fallen) angels when there was a rebellion in Heaven and remarkably end in a similar way with Satan & his angels being finally judged & then all who've died rejecting God & His Saviour will stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgement. I hope this will enlighten your mind & heart as you also study the Word simultaneously.

Thanks Christine ; you highlighted the essence of the use of 'bitter' in this context that I have been trying to find i.e any sin , though it seems to satisfy for a moment , always fades & the result is greater desperation to fill that empty space inside AT the expense of anyone & everything . Yes, the grace of God( The Lord Jesus) is what keeps us from going down that path.

It's not exactly a quotation on abortion but look up Jeremiah 32:35. The people of Judah were sacrificing their children in the fires to the god Molech, something that never came into God's mind that they should perform such an abomination.

Human life begins at conception. God knows a person before they are even born into this world. There is plenty of Scripture verses which indicate this is so.
