This all takes place in the clouds, as it shows His feet do not touch the earth at that time.
We attend the Wedding Feast of the Bridegroom and later the Bema Seat Judgement of believers, to receive crowns for what we did or, did not do on earth. It will be a time of joy, and for some, sorrow.
The Great White Throne Judgment doesn't occur till after 1000 years, when the wicked dead will be judged.
Mishael
5:24 He was not, for God took him - That is, as it is explained, # Heb 11:5, he was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him. But why did God take him so soon? Surely because the world, which was now grown corrupt, was not worthy of him. Because his work was done, and done the sooner for his minding it so closely. He was not, for God took him - He was not any longer in this world: it was not the period of his being, but of his being here. He was not found; so the apostle explains it from the seventy; not found by his friends, who sought him, as the sons of the prophets sought Elijah, # 2Kings 2:17. God took him body and soul to himself in the heavenly paradise, by the ministry of angels, as afterwards he took Elijah. He was changed, as those saints shall be that will be found alive at Christ's second coming.
Comment by Mishael: much like Adam in Genesis; before he and Eve ate the fruit.
Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land , that they may dwell with me : he that walketh in a perfect way , he shall serve me .
Verse 7 ...
And they asked him , saying , Master , but when shall these things be ? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass ?
And He said Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name , saying I AM Christ ; and the time draweth near : go ye not therefore after them .
John 11 v 24 , 25 , 26 ,27
She saith unto him , Yea Lord I believe that thou art the Christ , the Son of God which should come into the world .
who are the "they" and what does mingle refer to?
1 Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Matthew 24:31 - And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Luke 12:40 - Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Mark 13:32-33 - But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).
By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).
Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).
The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).
For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).
You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).
Note: re-read verse 5,6,7, above and consider mankind who is made from GOD'S dust of the ground plus GOD blessed us by breathing into us life, then GOD has to exercise HIS WILL as in verse 21 upon HIS creation. I no longer waste time asking why GOD this and that, instead I rejoice my name is written in THE BOOK by-way of John 3:16-21 and similar verses.

I will remember that forever. Thank you.
Many years ago, I heard a preacher share how, at the start of each day, he would take each piece of his spiritual armour & animatedly put it on himself. This made the act of preparedness to face each day, with the Enemy of our souls at the door, a graphical reminder of how every part of his body was prepared for the day's battle. This at first sounded a little childish & simplistic, but it meant to him, being alert in mind & spirit as he stepped outside his front door. I say, that if it takes a few minutes each day to do this & we are better prepared to tackle the enemy, then go for it. But watchfulness is the key & not spiritual slumber. May you grow closer to your Lord & win many battles with your holy Armour.
The Psalms became the hymnal of God's people, with its words often set to music, but not always. The Psalms expressed the authors' emotion to God or about Him, and different Psalms were written to communicate the author's feeling & emotions about the situation they might have been experiencing. That's why the Psalms are so treasured through the ages as they often reflect what the person who is reading them might also be going through & also to encourage him to still bless the Lord in spite of the situation.
But to your question: most of the Psalms were written by King David (73 Psalms we know of, maybe more). Asaph wrote 12; Korah 10; Moses 1; King Solomon 2; Ethan & Heman 2 each; the remaining Psalms have not been given their author's names.
If you can, you can read the narrative in the O.T. books that give background to the writing of a particular Psalm. If you have a Study Bible, often a reference will be given in the margin or the notes at the bottom. Otherwise, the internet might also give you help. But to start you off: Read 1 Samuel 19:10.11 & then read Psalm 59; 1 Samuel 21:10-15 with Psalm 56; 1 Samuel 21:10 to 22:2 with Psalm 34; 1 Samuel 22:9 with Psalm 52. This helps to understand the Psalms a little better.
The true church is made up of all believers who have been born of God's Spirit. The true church is not an organization or denomination, whether it be Protestant or Catholic. There is only one true church and it is called the body of Christ. All who have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and been born of His Spirit belong to the true church, His body, and we are the ones who He will come for and He will remove us before He pours out His wrath on an unbelieving world. If you've received Christ, you are part of the true church, His body!
