He who would succeed in winning souls needs to be wise. It needs wisdom to succeed in the business of life. It needs a far higher and nobler wisdom to win Souls. It is an exceedingly difficult thing to win men over from the ranks of sin and Satan to the ranks of God and His Christ.The would-be soul-winner needs to be theoretically wise. He needs to be well informed. He cannot know too much and must be well informed on some very important matters, e.g., the sacred Scriptures, human nature, etc.He needs to be practically wise--wise in action as well as in thought. He should deal largely in the most attractive and pathetic truths. He should carefully choose the most appropriate seasons. He should cultivate the most loving spirit and the most kindly manner. He should be much in communion with God.

in the book of jude 1 verse 14 we heard about the prophecy of Enoch, but we don't know what he prophesied because it is not in the bible, so where is it?

How do we discern the Lord's body

Hello, I'd like a prayer and/or a bible verse for myself. I struggle with depression and feelings of low self worth, and though I am finally combatting my negative traits I am often brought low by doubt and regret. My previous sins and misdeeds haunt me and taunt me, and am often so overwhelmed by the emotions I feel, that I almost somehow subconsciously deflect finishing me thoughts or emotions. All this to say I have a terrible memory and my conversations and memories seem to bleed into themselves which makes for a lot of dejavu that I mainly dont care for. Again, I'll take a prayer, I'm ready to ask as well as receive, but fighting for things almost feels out of my capacity. Idk. A prayer or just a direction would be nice. I seek strength and reassurance... maybe a confirmation. But it also feels like I ask for so much because I have so much, and I don't want that guilt to encumber me. Thank you for reading this. A prayer for you and your loved ones on my behalf will be done by me too. Take care.

On JOHN 1:12

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

Great news and we find that its by *GODS* grace that saved us, and hungering and hopefully baptized we are filled with the holy *GHOST* Acts 2:38 or a type Acts 19, and Jude 20,*WHO* indeed brings forth fruit as we yield to *HIS* behests, and *HE* communicates to us from the THRONE, not speaking of *HIMSELF* but presents the perfect picture of humility in glorifying *JESUS* the *WORD* *WHO* in turn has asked us to ask our *FATHER* *WHO* is not far from anyone of us. *HIS* Eye is in every place beholding the evil and the good. Innumerable holy Angels, 2 to 1 of the fallen ones, who are used and revel in mischief to Psalm 119:67 :-) Fresh manna daily as we read Earths greatest Treasure, THE WORD OF *GOD* which shall be quickened to the true seeker for sure. *G* B U EVER, so rejoice in thanks and praise. Hello my brothers and sisters in Christ. I would like to make a prayer request for myself, my family and the world. I have sickle cell decease. It's a blood disorder that forms the blood cells into a sickle, and make it difficult to flow through the veins. So it feels as if your veins are tearing apart. The next request is to pray that I find a good job asap, I feel like I'm breaking down. My third prayer request is for you to pray that God intervene, and delete Covid19, and heal the world, not just physically but spirituality, that we may get to know God personally, and give us peace in a time of chaos, and please pray that God will cover my family with his blood In the name of the Lord Jesus.

I don't think we could get this idea of DNA mixing with human genes at any other time than right now. Considering what is going on with this vaccine and what it contains. Somehow it makes this verse seem to imply something totally different than the way it was perceived even 6 months ago. Kind of brings a whole new meaning to this verse.

I don't think my first questions were loaded at all. I was just trying to show that we solicit intercessory prayer from others (Adam, would you please pray for my mom who is on her deathbed? for example) so there are times that we use alternatives to solicit God's help other than only going right to Him. Intercessory prayer is all over in the bible. Anytime someone comes up to Jesus to have him help someone else, that is intercessory prayer and Jesus honored that.

Apostolic succession (Priesthood in the order of Melchizedek) is the line of bishops stretching back to the apostles. All over the world, all Catholic bishops are part of a lineage that goes back to the time of the apostles, something that is impossible in Protestant denominations.

The role of apostolic succession in preserving true doctrine is illustrated in the Bible. To make sure that the apostles' teachings would be passed down after the deaths of the apostles (before the, Paul told Timothy, "What you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also" ( 2 Tim. 2:2).

Lots of untruths about the Church. We DO NOT PRAY TO statues or People. Statues are a physical representation of a spiritual person and we honor (not worship) the person and ask for their help as an intercessor. There are statues in the public sector but we do not worship them either. Humans are visual creatures - statues, icons, pictures give us a representation of who we are asking for intercession. Pictures in wallets perform the same function.

It is my opinion that the riders on the four horses of Revelation chapter 6 are angels or spirits that go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth, Zechariah chapter 6. Each rider has the power to orchestrate what happens on the earth according to God's will. It is my opinion the rider on the white horse will give power to a specific leader to wage war and conquer many nations. Is this the Antichrist? No one can really say without more scriptural evidence. The rider of the Red horse is given power to take peace from the earth. Men will kill one another. These two may indicate a world war. During and immediately after war comes famine. The black horse represents famine, starvation. A measure is the amount a man can eat in one day. A penny was translated from denarius which was a silver roman coin. When Jesus walked the earth, a denarius was a days wage. If you do the math, a family would have to choose between eating or paying their bills. A large family would starve either way. The rider on the pale horse is death. Notice it says they have power over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, white and red horses, hunger, black horse, death, the pale horse, and with the beasts of the earth. There are four horses and four beast that that introduce them. The fifth seal shows under the alter the slain souls from the early church to 3 1/2 years of Great Tribulation.
