A repentant experience by a born again believer requires faith not only in Jesus Christ and his blood bought sacrifice for the remission of one's sins but also faith that he will forgive our sins and that he will send the Holy Spirit as proof of his forgiveness and this Holy Spirit is peace and love dwelling in one's heart.

For some reason this conversion to a new life with power over willful sin can be offensive to some that call themselves Christian.

    Carleton,

You can learn more how the people of this world been deceived by Googling my name. We understand you are in Nevada. Well we are a few hours difference as we reside in Nova Scotia.

In the meantime our message remains the same: Ye must Repent and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18). It means a lot more than saying 'You are Sorry'.

Excellent point! Jesus often embodied the fulfillment of scripture before their eyes, that they (and we) are without excuse.

Our message is according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17). Please note the word 'cannot'.

We also invite you to read Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:21,22; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Gal, 4:8 and Revelation 12:9.

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

By nature mankind is born in sin and separated from God. As such mankind is not able to understand the Word of God as the Word is God ( John 1:!). This is the very reason why mankind relies on interpreting the Word of God while it is not of any private interpretations ( 2 Peter 1:20).

It is only through 'True Repentance' that mankind is able to be reunited with God and it is only through 'True Repentance' that God will be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH.

Reply to Bob Hilt re: is Jesus our brother

Our Lord said Son , behold thy mother. Mother behold thy son.

As the male benefactor , Our Lord honoured His mother by leaving her with another male benefactor, for He knew He was to be crucified.

If He did not do this, He would have broken the law

He is white as snow , pure and undefiled , above all things

our Lord said, Those that do the will of my Father, they are my brothers

  • Andy G van den Berg - In Reply on Psalms 34 - 5 years ago
The soul and body will not reach their destination in peace, because the carnal mind is enmity with God ( Romans 8:6).

For that reason every believer is chastened of the Lord ( Hebrews 12:5-12, Revelation 3:17-19), in order to overcome the flesh and our sinful nature ( Revelation 2:7,11,17,26; 3:5,12,21; 21:7).
  • Carleton - In Reply on Acts 17 - 5 years ago
Please do not underestimate how the Living God in Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit can speak to his believer in any scripture or even one word. As one limits this possibility one is heading for a private interpretation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and heading towards self justification in one's own righteousness. God can speak an entire message to one's heart on an ant's work if he chooses.

This is not easy to write....my grandson is in prison because a girl that he befriended while at college says that he raped her. There was another girl there, a room mate. I believe that the room mate became angry because she did not like the relationship between him and the girl. That she liked the girl for herself. The room mate called the police. He had left, walking not running. Because he is black they could have killed him. The girls are white. He said there was no rape. The friends father is a state patrolman. He was very angry. His influence with the court system has kept my grandson in prison. His only crime was a DUI. 22 yr.'s old. Junior in college. Doing well. Smart. But not smart enough to leave white girls alone in south Georgia. Please pray that God will deliver me from my anger. That God will cover him with His blood. That the Lord,God will lead him and guide him from this moment forward. Covid-19 is rapidly taking over the prisons. Please pray that God will deliver them. Pray that my daughter does not give up after several surgery's on the same knee. That my granddaughter will let God lead and guide her. That all of my grandsons (4) will be covered by the blood of Jesus. Thank you.

  • Andy G van den Berg on 1 Timothy 2:6 - 5 years ago
    On 1 TIMOTHY 2:4

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe.

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life'.

"Be strong and of a good courage"- If you look throughout the bible, it always comes up!

Like in Deuteronomy 31:6=Be strong and of good courage and in Daniel 10:19= And he said...be strong and of good courage." And you can find it in other places throughout the bible.

so if it isnt already obvious !BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE (especially with the corona virus going around) Who needs hand sanitizer when I have Christ?

Great question. However it was the translater that would be the one to answer that.

Have you heard of an Exhaustive Concordance? It has helped me tremendously in my biblical studies. They are made for different translations of the Holy Bible. Every word in that particular translation is listed, then it has a key to references of origin in original text with additional meanings, with a number reference to assist further.

    For example my Strongest Strong's Exhaustive Concordance broken down in simplicity;

Exodus 3:1 GOD, reference #430 original Hebrew, (Ihm) GOD plural of majesty

    Exodus 3:4 GOD, reference #430

Exodus 6:3 GOD reference #410 original Hebrew , GOD the Mighty One

    Hopefully this is helpful
