Remember in acts they sold a land and laid The money it at the apostles feet and held back part of it lying about it ?

It reminds how I used to interrupt someone and quick at making comments/judgment based on what I know which is usually either hearsays or biased opinion without hearing the other person finish what is being said. Now I realize even after actively hearing and listening to the person speak with empathy, I ask permission first if the other person wants to hear my opinion. I also learned how not to assume anything about what others say or do regardless whether or not I heard the facts of a story because it is almost like passing a judgment and playing God.

When I first started reading the bible I read a Good news bible my reading skills where very poor . It's a bible for people learning English . I do not read it or any other book but KJV now . You must Ask in prayer for understanding not matter which bible you read . KJV is most accurate and a dictionary is a good idea to read it with .

Long ago an uneducated lady asked the Lord to understand the bible so she could read it her self since she did not believe the minister . And yes she was able to read a KJV with understanding, so keep at it .

Meditate on the word rather than reading it like a novel .

That is reading it slowly and allowing many thoughts to come to you that reading it fast you would miss , repeat often until you get it or put it on the shelf and maybe another verse will clarify it to you later . Learning takes time and effort .

The Holy Ghost is Holy and was sent by Jesus who is Holy, after he rose from the dead after Calvary, to comfort and teach the repentant believer that looked up, how to be like Jesus while remaining in this world with love in their heart foremost for God who is Holy and also for their neighbor as an example of the Holiness of God present with mankind in His Body of believers. Finally the Gospel Story from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 is about Love and Holiness and it's presentation as a non- resistant Lamb makes us always, unworthy.

When we read the whole chapter, we see the context and truth. Look at the very next verse: "Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: FOR CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH ARE VANITY." This is great example of how foolish it is to take a single verse out of context to mean anything we want. We do not have the Spirit of Christ if we do that.

Look what God tells us when we read the final 2 verses of Ecclesiastes - He literally tells us our ENTIRE duty as men and women.

God's word always gives me healing and comfort. I'd be willing to save $1000 in A savings account and buy as many Bibles as I could with that amount of money so that more people could have God's word in their homes and in their cars and hospitals and dental offices.

My comments on water baptism,look beyond water baptism as in Acts 10 when the Lord rebuked Peter 3 times with that sheet with all the unclean Animals which were symbolic of the Church that was made clean by the blood of Gods lamb not water baptism that Peter was commanding. 3 times Jesus said John baptised you with water but i will baptise you with the H.G. and fire.That sheet was knit at the 4 corners with the 4 gospels the Cross, There is no other blood that can make us white as snow other then the blood of Jesus. Thats y the lord was so upset with peter he was making the blood of the lamb the CROSS insufficient impling they still needed water baptism,thats when the Lord rebuked Peter telling him what i have made clean do not call common or unclean peter was impling that the cross was insufficient to make them clean After that the lord had baptised them with the h.g. that resulted from the cross the blood here comes peter commanding water baptism impling what jesus did at the Cross was insufficient. When God rebuked Peter about the blood was all that was needed to make them clean. To imply we needed water baptism was to make the blood of no effect as said Paul.Once ya understand the enormity of the blood ( Calvary ) The lamb of God you will no more mention water baptism for the remission of sins its like a slap in the face of God. The question of many believers may be: Is this Body of believers visible? I believe the answer is yes, it will likely be found where there a great love of the brethren, possibly including the Holy Kiss, feet washing and for the sake of the Body and the correction of an erring member (by love and for the purpose of restoration) of the Body, discipline under the guidance of the epistles.

Paul, explains the spiritual body of Christ. A functioning body,like our own personal physical bodies. Yet too see, within this body there are different children with different gifts! What is profound is that when we understand these truths , the renewing of the mind Paul speaks of is less confrontational, allowing the spirit in each of us to have more significance in the development of our whole person!(sanctification-conversion) Eye hath not seen or ear heard neither entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for them that love Him. A man and wife in the Lord can please themselves sexually without fear as long as there is no outside influence on their minds. Outside of this Holy Body is lusts and all kinds of pride. One part of the membership of this Holy Body is to guard against outside influences coming within the Body. This starts in a husband's and wife's life and together in their home. They can teach their children to listen to the call to salvation in the Lord while protecting them from outside influences. This can be in the smallest details such as language including cover words. Children will learn from their parents how to back up and say in one's heart they are sorry that they did such in such like raising a voice for example. The Christian home within the Body should be peaceful, separated, holy, undefiled just like the Body which is part of Jesus.

The speed of moving images in the modern age is unholy and needs to be considered in all things. Fast moving images of the things of man find their way into our minds and hearts and dull the vision of Holy lives. If we are honest we know this is happening and we want deliverance but there is deliverance in self denial of watching such images of mankind.

Within the Spirit led life of a husband and wife and home there is direction for each matter encountered, therefore hope.

The Body is a place of rest and hope. It is a gathering of Saints, a washing of Saints, a calling for Saints and this gathering, this Holy Body knows no boundaries no borders no particular race or culture, it only knows Saints that have been once delivered from the bondage of sin outside of this Body.

I think the Saints are in heaven but will come back with the Lord to get their bodies what will be changed.

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and not for any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20). If it records in Rev. 12:9 that this whole world has been deceived, it did not speak of a particular country, group of people, person or religion, it meant the whole world.

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom 2 Cor. 11:13-15) this whole world has been deceived and what mankind must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting), is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and there seems to be a great misconception what the true 'spiritual' meaning of the word is. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

Only through Repentance will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1) and reveal to you how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and overcome this world ( 1 John 5:4).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It should be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

I had struggled with this one Commandment for several years and have studied into this subject deeply. Ann is correct in referring to Sunday worship as being pagan. I have listened also to many Scholars / Professors debating this subject and it is believed that Satan will trap the majority of people into 'wondering after the beast' (which is symbolic in that we will all follow and give praise to Satan rather than Jesus Christ, by worshiping on the Sunday, and we will not realize what is happening until it is too late. The 7th day Sabbath is Saturday which was sanctified Holy by God. This is the true 4th Commandment and the only Commandment that is emphasized with the word REMEMBER to keep my Sabbath Holy - no other days in the 10 Commandments except Saturday, were sanctified as Holy, and it does not matter that the calendar may have changed over the years, it is the fact that Saturday is important. Also it is important to remember that if one Conmandments is broken, it is like breaking all Commandments. Also God refers to the 'children of Israel' as all brethren who have 'overcome' and been baptized into, and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Hope this helps.

We should always ask God for guidance, help, and direction so we wont be lost in this world. And we should ask God to help us fear him, but the fear of God is not fear that you are scared of him like you are scared of bad things, the fear of the Lord is the fear that of knowing that he is very powerful, and can do anything. is doing what he sends us o do because he is very powerful, so he doesn't get so he doesn't destroy us for not obeying hi, or punish us. But the lord always has mercy on everybody. And with the bad ones, and he forgives and has patience with them for a long time. So we need t always go in the path of the truth, and ask the Lord for guidance.

have a transgender male as a roommate?

I am for Choice in education! My tax dollars should be withdrawn from colleges and given to parents so their kids can live off-campus; and enjoy privacy and modesty; and get an education.

I don't think anyone should count on God to not judge this nation for its loose morals, inability to enact laws that make sense: but proceed full steam to make this Nation a object of jokes and disrespected World Wide. Now, we are like every other nation!

Just the pure amount of legislation against Churches is nothing to be proud of. We as a nation have become Rome. It will burn and be no more. That's how I know God is judging us; that includes those who "govern" us.

I have visions. I am to pray and intercede for this nation. I can warn. I know there are many others who do this too. The US can't live under the radar anymore. Prophesy will push forward. United States is called "Islands of the Sea." What the Bible says, is what the US will do. You can't stop it.

The violence is not going to stop. It is a sign of the times.

Get your families in Jesus now. There's too many confirmations. Be ready to go. Keep looking for His appearing. Stop sinning and watch for Jesus.

What does 2 Corinthians 5:8 mean?

This is a poignant, soul-baring moment from the apostle Paul. He is not suicidal, but he is honest about his deepest desires. He would rather be with the Lord than in his mortal, burdened, groaning, dying body. For the first time in this chapter, he describes being in his future, eternal body with Christ as being "at home." He is utterly convinced that it is where he is headed. Heaven is where he is meant to be forever. Paul's faith that the glory of his eternal life will far outweigh and outlast the suffering of earthly life makes him want that life more than this one. Of course it does. How could it not?

That same faith, though, gives him courage. Knowing his eternal fate is secure gives him fearlessness to keep going in this life. It emboldens Paul to stay on the path God has called him to. He is not actively seeking death; he is simply ready to go whenever God calls him home. Until then, he will keep working at what God has given him to do in the here and now.

Consider how many times Paul was beaten up, jailed, threatened with death; in shipwrecks, no donkey; walking all over the Gentile nations. Never having enough money to help others he met on his travels.

He had a mouth but I truly admire him.
