My take on that is, that God took a rib bone out of his side: not out of his head so he could be over Eve; not out of the hip so Eve would be below Adam. They were a perfect pair. God even performed the first marriage. Eve was to be Adams helper.

Eve was by herself when Satan was tempting her. She knew they were not to touch that Trees Fruit. How long was Adam gone? Why didn't he say: we're naming geckos today, why don't you come along and HELP me with that? He kissed her goodbye and left her alone.

He wasn't over her head.....but He was Head of the Household. If you take off and are gone all day, you might get home and see 7 boxes of brand new shoes! :/

I don't think it wasn't a matter of not having a marriage counseling shop next door. It was simply not paying attention to or forgetting to esteem others....as important as yourself. Decisions are best made together.

Commentary:

Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats. Self-indulgence was also excused, because food and the stomach were made for each other. But these are both perishable.

Moreover, if "the belly was made for meats",

the body [is] not for fornication. It was not made for this, but for a nobler purpose--for the Lord. Hence, sensuality cannot be thus justified.

What happens in a marriage is between the couple.

Everybody else who is unmarried, like me, have the time to be involved in ministry of some kind or another. It doesn't have to always be through a Church. There are many civic organizations, school activities outside. You can google around and see what volunteer activities are going on despite the pandemic scare.

You'd have to take a short course for it, but suicide prevention centers still need volunteers.

We're all gifted in many ways.

It'd be a good time to get your feet shod for taking the gospel of peace. We all know enough about Jesus to tell someone else how to be saved. Think about it :)

Water baptism isn't a issue really. if they receive Jesus; you can pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit on the front porch.

The worst that might happen is they'll say "I have something on the stove", and they don't come back. It's just simply doing what Jesus and his disciples did. Not complicated at all.

It was God who created man...male and female He created them. It was the LORD God who later joined man to a physical body (Eve). The sin committed in Eden wasn't only the learning right from wrong but it was Eve convincing Adam that it was the right thing to do. The physical body is not supposed to command the divine self. The physical body was given as a help mate so the divine nature of man could interact with the world. Our divine nature should command our every thought, our every action, our every touch.

Much of Revelation speaks of the last 3 1/2 years of the Anti-christ's seven year seven year covenant and the second coming of Jesus. THE GREAT CITY or THAT GREAT CITY is the key to understand who MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS is. THE GREAT CITY or THAT GREAT CITY is mentioned 11 times in the Book of Revelation: Rev 11:13, Rev 11:8, Rev 14:8, Rev 16:19, Rev 17:18, Rev 18:10, Rev 18:16, Rev 18:18, Rev 18:19, Rev 18:21, Rev 21:10.These verses can only be speaking of one GREAT CITY. Rev 11:8 says it is where our Lord was crucified. This is definitely Jerusalem. Rev 18:21 calls Babylon THAT GREAT CITY. In Rev 21:10, John is shown THAT GREAT CITY, the holy Jerusalem, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. If there was a way that would make you free from the guilt, the penalty, and the power of sins you have committed or omitted, would you do it if you did not have to sin afterwards? Would you quit all sin and never do it again?

There is a way to do this, it is called repentance to God. Jesus did not die on the cross to save you and yet you still sin. If upon your physical death you are still sinning, you do not enter Heaven as your eternal home. Look at 1 John 3:9, 10 sin is of the devil and those born of God do not sin. True repentance includes sorrow, acknowledging disobedience to God, confessing these to God, asking for forgiveness of them, and having a heart change that you will not do the sin again. Only then does God forgive you of your sins. And salvation does not forgive past, present, and future sin only those from the past only.

A true heart change is a second work of grace that a person that's been saved will ask for and it is called sanctification. Romans 12:1 tells us about presenting yourself to God as a sacrifice, holy and acceptable. A sinner is not holy or acceptable. As in Luke, repent or likewise perish. Even those that just lie now and then, unrepentant, will not go to Heaven. Revelations 21:8

Romans the 6th chapter verse 1 asks if we shall continue in sin that grace may abound. Ro. 6:2 the answer God forbid.

Satan lied to Eve in the garden, telling her that she'd not die if she disobeyed God, but she did die spiritually the moment she sinned. Satan lies to religious men and women today by telling them you can't live free from sin. By yourself, no you cannot. With the help of God, then yes you can, after repentance.

Here we see one sitting upon the throne with a book, the lamb slain from the foundation of the world comes to him to take the book out of his right hand, my problem with this event is the oneness movement, for how can Jesus be the Father sitting upon a throne, have Jesus as the lamb coming to him to take a book out of his hand while Jesus is sitting upon the throne? No wonder I believe in the godhead, what is commonly known as the trinity.

The Body, The Church of believers rightly Baptized by members proving their born again repentance experiences and their peace with God and man will walk faithfully without perversion with the law or with the world in it's earthy ways of handling matters. If we as members choose to walk separately of the Body to handle matters of the world for our own lusts we fail the Body and have lost our place in our Spiritual everlasting habitation like the fallen angels. The Body must be kept pure and the ways have been described in the epistles. Jude warns of "turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness" and he reminds us of the first estate of the angels, "but they left their own habitation". This habitation was the Body. This same Body has been renewed in Christ Jesus as a Bride and this Body will be joined with Him in a marriage that is ever lasting. We as Christians no matter the personal cost must act within the Body to remain Holy and at Peace. In this presentation we will be a light and witness in the great darkness of this world.

I have a story of a person I knew before he passed on. His neighbor along a fence line came to him angrily that the man's dog had over night killed the angry neighbor's chickens. This man was extremely sorrowful that his neighbor had such a loss and immediately settled with the angry neighbor and the matter was closed. Later that day the man had several memories of his old dog that had died several months back.

Numbers chapter 13 and 14 contains the historical account of the exodus generation refusing to believe God. Only two of the twelve men that scouted the land had confidence in God's promise. The other ten influenced the people who then refused to enter in and take their inheritance.

Psalm 95, which is the origin of the middle phrase in Hebrews 4:3, expresses the LORD's judgment of their unbelief.

As for us, we are reminded in this passage that we enter into Jesus Christ by believing the gospel ( Matthew 11:28-30). We rest in his finished work on the cross, his resurrection and ever living intercession with our Father in Heaven ( Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25).

The final phrase of verse 3 is preparing us to learn what follows regarding the difference of rest in Jesus Christ versus the seventh day when God rested from all his works ( Genesis 2).

2 Peter v 17

Beware lest you be led away with the error of the wicked , fall from your steadfastness.

What is the error of the wicked ?

Any thing that teaches contrary to sound doctrine that The Apostles teach , found in the NT .

Peter is warning because he knows they will come after his departure .

And did they come , no unity at all in professing Christianity.

The solution get back to the Bible and stick with it . There are so many false doctrines you can pick your poison . May the Lord bless you as you prayerfully search the scriptures.

The Gentiles were grafted in, to become the Elect. The Jews were grafted OUT. Google "the Graft" scriptures.

The Jews are Spiritually blinded and deafened so they may not see or hear the Gospel of their Messiah Jesus Christ. They're certainly not going to believe God has divorced them.

WHEN the "catching away" of the Church occurs. Blind eyes and deaf Ears are going to be OPENED suddenly. The Jews will suddenly BE THE ELECT once again. They will know only the Messiah can do what has been done. They will have to cling to Jesus during the 2nd half of Redemption: Rapture to staging of Armageddon.

You must understand that even then; even after all the Miracles of Jesus preserving His Elect: some Jews will not relinquish their "control" over the power they have coveted for thousands of years.

Fix your eyes on Jesus on walk right into His arms. This is your Beloved; your Husband: who has fully forgiven you and grafted you into the Vine once more, eternally. The Lord of Glory. Come back now.

Not only does this proverb use the example of a man giving into sexual desire, I can't help but to hear Satan beguiling Eve in the garden and she ultimately falling out of favor with God because of it. And then suckering Adam into the same trap. At the end of the day, this is a great example of how Satan constantly tries to beguile born again believers into his traps of sin and bondage, whether it be sexual sin, drunkenness, greed, or whatever sin we are prone to be weak for. No matter how beautiful an opportunity may be, we must never be so quick to "Jump into bed" with every opportunity that is presented to us. If we would only be strong enough to respond in true Christ Likeness Character, we would respond in the same manner that Jesus responded to Satan when he was tempted in the wilderness.... "It is written"....

I pray that everyone who struggles with temptations be strong enough to withstand the devils offers on Jesus Name.

Resist the devil and he shall flee from you.

I think it means God will destroy them after this life on Earth.

Paul now concludes his teaching on why it matters that Christians run away from sexual immorality. His final point, begun in the previous verse, is that Christian people do not belong to themselves. We have been purchased by God. We are free in the sense that we have been freed from the law of sin and death ( Galatians 3:13), but we are not free in the sense that we are now self-owned and self-determined ( 1 Corinthians 6:12-13).

If we are truly in Christ, we are truly not our own. Our lives, including our bodies, belong to God. This gives Him the ultimate authority to tell us what to do and what not to do with our bodies.

It's important to notice something about this last argument against sexual immorality. It applies only to believers. Only those in Christ have been redeemed by His blood and brought from darkness to light ( 1 Corinthians 1:12-13). These words are not for those who remain in darkness. Paul is not commanding those outside the church, unbelievers, to live according to God's standards for sexual morality ( 1 Corinthians 5:12). Their sin is still sin, but one cannot expect them to recognize it as such ( 1 Corinthians 2:14).

Rather, it is those who belong to God-and not to themselves-who are commanded to glorify God with their bodies. In fact, only those in Christ have an opportunity to use their bodies to bring glory to God. In fact, that is now the purpose our bodies are designed to serve.

I can say with assurance that I was adopted into the elect (Israel) by being born again and my willingness to be Baptized as a visible sign into His church. Like a marriage, as long as I am found faithful.

This also leads me to the thought that the harvest field is ripe and perhaps, some areas more ripe than others.

Joseph, as it pertains to whether or not the land of Nod was inhabited/uninhabited, in my opinion we cannot draw a conclusion one way or another. However, I believe that we can only go by what has been revealed to us in the written word of God.

As Christians, we must believe and receive the word of God by faith. Hebrews 11:3 says, " through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."

We will never be able to fully comprehend the word of God by our own human reasoning or intellect. 1Corinthains 2:14, "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (Understood)

We must allow the Holy Spirit to teach us and give us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Scripture to avoid erroneous beliefs which ultimately leads to erroneous doctrine.

In regards to the creation of Adam, again we must adhere to what is written.

It is evident in Genesis 2:7, that Adam became a "living soul", he was human. We were created in the image and likeness of God, in that we are triune beings: spirit, soul and body, as God who is a Spirit, is the Father, the Word, (that was made flesh, John 1:14), and the Holy Spirit. ( 1John 5:7)

Adam was the first man who was created from the dust of the ground or the earth by God. But Christ who is called the second Adam, is the one who is, and the giver of life. He is the firstborn of the New Creation of God.

Finally, I would like to express the danger of leaning to our own understanding. It is my sincere prayer and desire that you have a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit of God who will lead you and guide you into all truth!

Can someone please pray for me I'm having a hard time...trying to be a better person

I want to be a better steward of everything God has blessed me with. I pray to be a better steward of my finances.

I also pray that my children and siblings accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

The Holy Spirit by peace and witness in the soul is our continued guide to stay separate from returning to the condemnation- James 5:12. It is for this reason that a Christian must at one time know their born again time, before the Baptism of Holy Spirit in their heart/ soul and after, that way we can judge ourselves whether we be in the faith once delivered to the Saints by the steadfast peace. Without this peace which is the Holy Spirit in us, we may have returned to the unbelieving thief on the cross.

Was they talking about the righteous of God or the king's that was reigning

So from what I read the elect are people who are saved not Israel many pastors say the elect is Israel but Israel don't except Christ and are blind therefor they are not the elect of God the saved are. Would you agree with this statement.
