Many people are confused about speaking a 'Testimony'

you must be born again ...you must be taught the Word by true pastors

Christ do not dwell in temples made by man hands...

Woe to the Pastors who destroy and scatter my flock.

The Testimony we are to speak is the Word of God.

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ,

11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.

14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever

On the first day of the week I laid my old life and clothes aside, walked out with Jesus of the tomb dead to my own righteousness with a made clean circumcised heart torn from top to bottom and followed Jesus my master and creator to meet with the brethren by faith and with indwelling peace by His Holy Spirit that comforts now in all the days of the week providing rest every day of my life.

    Jesus is my Sabbath Day!

This is why the first day of the week is important to me.

I agree with your words Mike. I have a very good friend that's a pastor of a pretty good size church but I don't any longer go there as I told him because of the people there. My are Democrats and very left which is something I can't deal with it fellowship with and personally I don't see how it's possible to love Jesus and love that party of people and what they stand for it just doesn't make a bit of since to me at all. I'm much more Blessed now than ever in my life done I finally stopped going to a do called Church. Actually I feel as if I'm a church myself. I can say Apsolutely for sure my life the way I'm Blessed is much better now than ever and so is my walk with the Lord. I do believe way to many people misinterpret scripture in order to make it work for there thoughts and we all know God's ways aren't ours. If going to a church building helps someone else I good for them but as for me it doesn't. I've noticed a lot of things my pastor friend and I talk about will end up in one of his messages but even he won't admit the things I've said are brought up into his spirit in the messages here gives and that's called pride. People say many things but mostly don't abide in there in words. For instance they know in a Christian man but won't allow me to bring a message to there people in there church building yet they say they trust the Lord. How's that possible? You trust the Lord but don't trust him enough to allow one of his children to tell others what he's given to your own Spirit to share with others? Sounds kind of Ridiculous doesn't it? I have a family that say they are Christian People almost all of them go to a church bandages

Grandfather on my mother's side was a Baptist minister and all but one Uncle on my Dad's side is they only one that goes to church every Sunday wed etc treats me with respect the rest have treated me horribly. I took care of my mother for over 20 years by my self and maybe saw this family at her home which I moved to twice including.

Fred thank you for your response. I do agree with the majority of it.

To become a Mason you must take oaths. We know what the Bible says about taking oaths.

    You must perform "sacred rituals."

You must agree that their is a higher power but you do not claim one in specific.

We also know of forbidden knowledge that comes from a different source who was outkast from Heaven.

    The list is lengthy. Very.

Many Christians who became Masons left for very specific reasons. I have also seen Christian Masons who never separated.

Anyone who has studied history knows this country was founded on Christian principles as well as Masonic. It's very obvious.

In "Will's" statement he claims being a Master Mason means nothing. I disagree however I am in no way trying to prove a point within this thread. Genuinely seeking the opinion of others especially biblically based. I also understand a Mason will provide a much different response than a devout Christian who would avoid such an organization.

Can one be devout to God the Father of the Bible while being devout to Masonry through a blood oath? Would we not see idols here? Are there no conflicts from the strict word of God provided in the Bible? Masonry allows worship of the God of the higher power of your preference. This could be Satan, Buddha etc.

Again, I hope noone takes this in the wrong manner. Thank you each for your responses.

  • The Church of Jesus - In Reply on Matthew 18:20 - 5 years ago
You've made some good comments. Maybe Church was easier in Acts 1. It's just that Jesus said, "upon this rock I Will Build My Church." It's His Church.

We don't get to legislate how that happens.

I do know that the Rewards will be sorted out at The Bema Seat Judgment of Jesus Christ. Rewards or Lack of Rewards. Acts of all Christians will pass through Fire.

Anything less than silver or gold will be burned up (wood, hay, stubble). Jesus is the only Judge of His Church.

We are told not to judge. With righteousness judgment only. We can depart from a Church we truly feel is out of order, and attend another. Personally for me, I would switch the channel on the tv or listen to Christian Radio. I listen to sermons on Youtube, too.

We are in control on what we feed our own spirits. You can eat a lot of cotton candy or you can find yourself some heavenly meat!

I love and miss Billy Graham and often listen to His meetings. We will be judged on the food we put in our spirits.

I'm not perfect enough to judge anybody. It's my default setting to move along and leave it To Jesus's judgement. We are told Not To Forsake Assembling Together.

In my experience, the Lord has moved me from one feed bucket to another, at times.

Terrible things happened in that Church and I had to go through that with them; love others and sooth some of the trauma. The Lord will stand by His Sheep in any case, is my experience. They survived the loss of their Pastor. I already had planned to go home and care for my Dad who had Alzheimer's, so my Mom could run their business.

We can go through these things rigidly, or we can allow the Lord to do His Work in our lives. It's a choice we have to make with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Be at peace with Jesus in all things. Move along when HE leads you.

    Matthew 4, 5

When I began reading the bible over 45 yrs ago these verses really got my attention, but never understood them . I heard many explanations but they did not answer it to me .

It's quoted in Mark and Luke's gospels as well .

This is what they the deceived say about who Jesus is . And I have never met a person that says they are Christ so strike that off the list of meanings .

I Am refers to God so there is a lack of understanding of God and Christ in there profession .

The biblical understanding is that Jesus the Christ is come in the flesh . The Son of God .

    There is a difference .

Who are the many ? And what do they mean ? It's a very difficult subject that only the Holy Spirit can give understanding in . Knowing who Jesus is makes the difference , it's all in the Bible . No need to turn to commentaries or other . Ask the Lord for wisdom and get it .

I don't know what it means to be a Master Free Mason. Being one requires an invitation, and is a secret organization. Scripture and salvation on the other hand is free and open too all men . Something drove our fore fathers to become separate from England. Freedom of religion was one of them! Carnal Power and the need for it corrupts. These gentlemen were responsible for their actions, at least what we know of. Wisdom and knowledge on the other hand, come from above, these having and producing, what we see today, a free nation. Freedom is not really free! It requires responsibility, by continuing in this equal wisdom and knowledge. The bible refers to works and their necessity for the physical relationship of man, but should never become dependent on mans salvation. So, is belonging to a lodge wrong? I think not as long as we put Christ first in all things .

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Note: as it relate to death, Yes! mankind has entered into death since Adam & EVE, never-the-less 4 times above JESUS gave them and us HIS assurance of HIS power over death, therefore we need not be fearful of death because once we rightly apply John 3:16-21 or similar verses we have assurance from JESUS we shall be raised up at the last day. PLUS.....

Note: Revelation 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to HIM, for The Marriage Of The LAMB is come, and HIS wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And HE saith unto me, write, blessed are they which are called unto The Marriage Supper Of The LAMB. And HE saith unto me, these are the true sayings of GOD.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me - God will bestow them upon me. This is the "result" of what is stated in the previous verses. The effect of God's merciful dealings with him had been to lead his mind to the assurance that God would always be his shepherd and friend; that He would never leave him to want.

All the days of my life - Through all its changes; in every variety of situation; until I reach its close. Life indeed would end, and he does not venture to conjecture when that would be; but as long as life should continue, he felt confidently assured that everything needful for him would be bestowed upon him. The language is the utterance of a heart overflowing with joy and gratitude in the recollection of the past, and full of glad anticipation (as derived from the experience of the past) in regard to the future. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever - Margin, as in Hebrew: "to length of days." The expression, I think, does not refer to eternity or to heaven, but it is parallel with the former expression "All the days of my life;" that is, he would dwell in the house of the Lord as long as he lived - with the idea added here, which was not in the former member of the sentence, that his life would be long, or that he hoped and anticipated that he would live long on the earth. The phrase used here, "I will dwell in the house of the Lord," is one that is several times employed in the Psalms as indicative of the wish of the psalmist. Thus, in Psalm 27:4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life." Psalm 26:8, "lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honor dwelleth." Psalm 65:4, "blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts." Psalm 84:4, "blessed are they that dwell in thy house."

Please keep my family in your daily prayers to protect us from all unrighteous requests made to serve man or thoughts of men and not you Lord. I pray for forgiveness and mercy on those who do not know us and assume to know your will for our lives. I pray for the love of Jesus Christ to overtake any judgements made against my family that could bring us any harm from others who know not what they do. I pray for peace, love, and understanding to conquer all misunderstandings, conflicts, and attacks from the enemy. Please lift up my family to be protected from persecution for our beliefs in you Lord. We are not perfect and we recognize this and ask the Lord to please keep working in our hearts, minds, & spirits. Lord many come to you to pray what they wish over us, but I trust in you Yeshua to lead us to victory and provide solutions that please you God. That lift up your name. That bring you glory. Lord I pray for those who have unforgiveness against us for receiving blessings that made us wealthy. We worked hard to get here and gave charity to many along the way. I ask the Lord to help the less fortunate to not harden their hearts against us just because of what we have accomplished. To provide them with better understanding to not covet what we have or possess because we went through the same ups and downs as everyone else. I pray the Lord bless those who act in envy, hatred, and malice based on a limited perception. I pray for those wish to steal from us to hurt our reputation, health, finances, or anything else known or unknown.

    On 1 JOHN 4:7.

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).
