If God created Adam and Eve in this story and Lucifer was already involved was there some time skip I wasn't aware of? Because there's a whole story of Lucifer to cover with him and his fallen angels and I find it weird they skip right through that as if there's nothing that happened between the time.

    Yes, Reba it does.

The HS is mentioned at least several times in the Hebrew Bible, aka OT, and has different names just like the Father and Son

He is first mentioned in Genesis 1:2 as the Spirit of God. Why did Moses highlight with specificity that it was God's Spirit since a supernatural being was understood as a type of spirit by all ancient cultures? Moses could have also simply written it as "God hovered over the waters". So, there is more to this plural yet singular Elohim God than what some dogmatic and grumpy Unitarians would laughably insist as evidence for their view

For the hair splitters, I have another example in Isaiah 63:10 where the HG is clearly the HS. To those who criticise that it is in lower case, that's petty reasoning but surprisingly the NIV Study Bible has it in proper capitalisation

the world will remember you no more but God remembers you, keep his covenant love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, and strength, Love your neighbor as yourselves. We praise him and thank Him for all things, people like to think they are greater and worthy of praise, I beg to differ God sees nobody greater then another, live a worthy life for Him, not for man, did He not hear Abel's blood cry out, He hears the righteous who love Him and serve Him. We will glorify Him and sit in His presence, soon enough make sure you have enough oil to keep your lamp burning. God Bless

I can only share the opinion of my personal experiences.

My dreams in the past have shown specific sin within my life. They pertained to unclean thoughts or desires. I believe the temptation in the dream pertained to the worldy desires within my heart. The deep secrets that we keep. God sees all of them and I believe, in my opinion, that sometimes he shows us. The dream seems to be a test. As you say we don't have the ability to control the dream but what resides within our heart is simply what occurs or is seen.

    As my walk has grown stronger;

I have found more recently that within similar dreams I was not tempted as before. Or felt in the dream that I did not want to "participate" or see..and the dream ended. A test of the heart and faith now passed?..

Have the eyes committed sin? If so repent.

Maybe the Holy Spirit is showing a specific sin.

Maybe a demon is tempting you through lust.

Maybe it is God testing you.

    God works in mysterious ways!

Again, my opinion through personal experience.

    Matthew

    Chapter 25

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

You need to memorize this so YOU can tell other people. Matthew 25

    Isaiah 51:10

Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

    Jeremiah 31:11

For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

    Hosea 13:14

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

    Matthew 20:28

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

    Mark 10:45

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

    1 Timothy 2:6

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The Earth Knows That it Will Be Burned Up

    2 Peter 3 < link

There is no fixing the Earth. Too many scriptures point to the Lord setting it on fire. Even the Earth is being readied for Jesus's Return, at the 2nd Advent.

    *****

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,

and the elements shall MELT with fervent HEAT, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on FIRE shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent HEAT?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

    14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the NEW MOON, or of the sabbath days:

17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

    Genesis 37

The story of Joseph is a great example.

Many with hardened hearts(wicked) in my life

have helped me. However, it was not until later that I could see it.

God allowed wicked people to be in my life. Relationships, bosses, friends, family. Through their wicked and unrighteous ways I felt used, lied to, hurt and deceived. These things, later, brought me closer to God. These things, later, allowed me to understand just how magnificent and loving God truly is. He is the opposite of those things or people.

I never want to fall for, be exposed to or be a part of those wicked people again. The wicked people he allowed in my life brought spiritual growth and faith. God used the wicked to bring me closer to him. To trust under His wings. I also must be forgiving of them but thankful for the lessons and strength I received because of them. I pray for each of those people to turn and be saved. Just as I have been able to have the opportunity to turn from my worldy, wicked ways. My heart was hardened but I opened it fully to God.

We may not understand our trials in fire today but tomorrow, we will praise God for them!

Sometimes we see evil people seem to win while we think we are losing. Their win is for a season. I want my win to be for eternity!

    I hope this helps.

It helps with understanding some of the Book of Daniel.

That's an "unclean spirit", a demon. They're in the Bible: look it up.

Your job is to bind the Strongman and CAST it into dry places, in Jesus Of Nazareth NAME.

Now get informed about invisible demons in Ephesians 6. Check your house and computer for anything they're using fo a door, to come sneaking back in. Yeah, they search through our secret belongings.

Cast out familiar spirits and unclean spirits.

I found my list of spirits today and will be sharing that little by little.

I play Christian music in the home and the angels love it, and the demons hate it and leave.
  • HABAKKUK - In Reply on Habakkuk 1 - 5 years ago
he major theme of Habakkuk is trying to grow from a faith of perplexity and doubt to the height of absolute trust in God. Habakkuk addresses his concerns over the fact that God will use the Babylonian empire to execute judgment on Judah for their sins. Habakkuk openly questions the wisdom of God.

This was Habakkuk's first complaint. It seemed to him that God was not answering his prayers to the wickedness and injustice he saw around him. ... Then he decided to make a covenant with the Lord and made sure he and the people would follow the commandments for the rest of his days as king.

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow's cause," ( Isaiah 1:17). "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" ( Micah 6:8)

In the absence of knowing what to do about what is going on around us: we need to go to default settings. The paragraph at the bottom.

God is not always going to explain things through a prophet or pastor. We have to find a similar situation in scripture.

If your Bible does not have Center Page Reference columns (for deeper study); get one. Make sure it has the columns with tiny alphabet letters. Those scriptures in them point to other revelation about what you are studying.

Part of "studying to show yourself approved unto God", means having the right equipment to get the answers you want.

This whole chapter is crystal clear , listen to God not men ! He can make you understand, by the spirit of truth , we will know the truth that sets us free .

As apostle Paul said how unsearchable God is , but God can reveal things we Know not if we trust him . By faith we understand .

If God makes a man know shall he not know ?

Psalms 119:9 " Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word."

Spending time in God's word will cleanse you spiritually as well as physically.

I say spiritually first because I know christians with physical ailments that were given these as a cross to bear. Yet many find that God's grace is sufficient for them.

    Hello Marcus,

Some careless bible versions are wrong to say Ira was a priest. No, Ira could not be a priest because he was not a Levite, but it says Abiathar was one of the priests. You weren't reading from the KJV because it will tell you that Ira was the "chief ruler about". That role was like today's Chief of Staff to the President of the USA, or an executive who is able to represent the ruler and give orders on his behalf
