I think we just need to read at a snails pace and really chew on what you're reading. If there's center of the page columns, I stop and read those too.

Sometimes I take notes. What is God telling me? If you study alongside the Holy Spirit, you can ask Him if this pertains to me? Someone I know? Believers? Un-believers?

This website has a commentary box below the Search box. Pull up your verse; click on it to highlight it. Just scroll down till you see the Commentary, open and read what it says about your verse.

I looked at your verse and it was a genealogy page. Is that what you wrote?

I randomly had a verse in mind for my partner which was Genesis 5v15 and I'm still not understanding the message it has for him or both of us but I'm trusting what and how my heart interprets it. I do need further guidance and understanding please.

I used to get to work before everyone else and spray doorknobs and phones I used during the day. Wear your mask if you want to. They can't see your face :D. If you get there first, you can get your pile of work and put it on your desk. Avoid eye contact with work robbers. Keep your work quota high as you can. Then ask the boss for more work. Smile.

By law you get 2 breaks a day. Combine bathroom then.

Determine the rules and work within them.

This one woman was an inspiration to me: every time someone tried to engage her opinion in an argument, she'd smile like an angel to everyone without answering and return to her work. Everyone would shuffle away confused what to do with that.

Remember Marilyn. That was her name.

(Ask what would Marilyn do :D)

These are small sacrifices on your part, but they work. Once a month bring in a dozen donuts and leave them in the coffee room. Keep one on your desk so they know you brought them. If you get there early you can get a big mug of coffee. I brought mine from home cause I'm picky.

Be friendly like Jesus; but kind of no nonsense like Peter. Never share any personal information about yourself.

When you walk in early, under your breath pray: I pray the presence of Jesus in this room and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Thank you Jesus :)

When it goes south some days: in a whisper: I plead the Blood of Jesus against all demonic influences and command them to depart to dry places. In Jesus name. GO!

God can hear your mind talking, so when your Boss is being bossy and unfair: plead the blood of Jesus over the entire conversation. Have faith ok? He hears you and knows you need an assist. You're gonna see miracles. Get ready.

I'm sorry you are having these problems. Find a working security camera and park in front of it. Call the police and ask them to enforce noise ordinance. You don't really have to give your name but they'll see your phone number. If they get called enough they'll talk to the manager. Hopefully the maintenance person is tired of picking up the litter :/

Move when your lease is about to expire, if you can. (Get the place spotless before that)

You didn't say if you're a Christian? If you are you can ASK God to send some angels to watch over all your property and protect all that concerns you. And Give you favor with the police.

I'll ask the Lord to give you His favor in finding work.

Get your resume current with past history, phone #s, etc. Don't fill in the date. Make copies. Take a selfie (smile) & go to Walgreens and get copies to put on the resume. Drive around companies & note which ones have lots of cars in the lot. Make a list. I'd get out and walk through and claim a parking spot in Jesus name. Be cool. Interviews: answer questions, keep it brief and no personal stories unless asked. Don't gush. Be friendly, unclinch your body language. Handshake before leaving. Make eye contact. NO Strong cologne.

You glorify God and start thanking Him for favor and opportunities EVERY time you think about it. Turn off the tv an hour every day and read Ecclesiastes or Proverbs. Great tips for success in those. You're ready!!

Come back and let me know how it goes.

Partly true. If a wayward child while time remains returns back to Calvary in repentance they may be restored. This is why it is so important that one's born again experience is truly repentant. There needs to be a place to return to that the wayward child can remember having peace with God in Jesus Christ. The love of the Church will not forget these children and as opportunity arises along with prayer, their own Christian witness of having peace will be a reminder to the wayward one to return to their first Love.

    1 John 5:20-21

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given is an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Little Children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

  • The Mystery - In Reply on Isaiah 1 - 5 years ago
I can't explain this Mystery God is personally undertaking. I feel strongly not to judge. I preach for "Gentiles to get in now." Do what God says to be doing now: armor on, wedding dress packed, lamps full of Holy Spirits oil. Assist with "Ark loading".

I pray for you to be a worker in the Harvest. You know lots; like Paul. It's up to you to figure out what part you play in this mystery? Do you have a testimony? I've never heard anything. You know mine.

Prayer room stays full and I think a lot of them aren't saved. Are they saved? Has any preacher taught them the basics? See..I can't argue about this mystery that can't be defined. But if the Holy Spirit says hop to it: I'll hop every time. :)

What country do you live in?
  • Jesse - In Reply - 5 years ago
    Flossy Ann,

I do not believe that God is just watching, waiting for you to die, so He can condemn you. He may be watching and waiting, but maybe He is waiting for you to fully surrender your life to Him in order that He can work out His will in your life. Have you considered that? There is nothing we go through in this life that God cannot fix. But it takes complete surrender and trust in Him. It's one thing to seek Him, but another to surrender your life to Him and give Him complete control. That's not the easiest thing to do but that is something that must be done in order for Him to work in your life.

There are many people here that can help you. There are many here who care about you. We may not know you personally, but we can still say we love you and care about you. I care about you and I love you. I am not speaking of a human love. I am speaking of the love of Christ. It's His love, and He is persuading me to share it with you. And all those here who care about you and your spiritual welfare can say they love you because it is Christ in us that gives us that type of love, and it is through Him that we can truly say we love you and are concerned for you. So perhaps Christ giving us that love and care to share with you would demonstrate that He does care about you. Jesus works through His people to reach out to others to share His love with them. I ask of you that if you've not surrendered to Him to please do so. He's watching you, and He is waiting. He's waiting to help you. All He expects from you is trust and faithfulness to Him.

The bible is very clear that those who turn away with an evil heart of unbelief they have a fearful waiting for the firey depths of Hell. There is no way to be saved again. Then it is like a double minded man.

    1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run that you may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things, Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainty, so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Samaria was the capital of Northern Israel during the split of Judah and Israel after Solomon died. The Samaritan woman at the well was an Israelite also.

    John Chapter 4

5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with [his] journey, sat thus on the well: [and] it was about the sixth hour.

7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? (the woman said Jacob [Israel] was her Father and Jesus never corrected her)

Art thou greater than OUR FATHER JACOB (who was Israel)

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

She was indeed an Israelite who was of divorced Israel

    Jeremiah 3:8

"And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also."

    God divorced Israel, not Judah.

    Jeremiah 31:31

"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:"

    Israel AND Judah both

  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 8 - 5 years ago
    Darlene,

There are many verses that prove Jesus is God. John 1:1 states that Jesus is God. In Hebrews 1:8, Jesus is called God. Jesus Himself claimed to be God. Jesus also said before Abraham was, "I am," the name God used. Jesus also said I and my Father are ONE. Jesus said "if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. I agree that there is only one God, but that one God consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all three being God.

It is a blessing to sing not a right. The Lord knows who is actually singing praises to Him from their heart under any condition and those making excuses that this particular condition limits our praises by song. In the 1500's people sang as they were being put to death often by torture by the Roman Church and the State because of not accepting infant baptism as salvation. Even young girls were buried alive vertically so that they had shovel full after shovel full of chances to recant. Instead of recanting some sang as Christian witnesses. Jesus knows!

    T39Ann,

If "Once saved always saved are for those who stay in the Faith and do not sin again," what happens to a saved person that sins?
  • Jesse - In Reply on Matthew 27:25 - 5 years ago
    Dennis,

Matthew was written by Matthew. Matthew was his Greek name. Matthew means gift of Yahweh. His Jewish name is Levi. And because his name is Levi, that tells us that he is from the tribe of Levi, and he is a priest of all people. Priests come from the tribe of Levi.

In Acts Chapter 12 Verse 12, we are introduced to Mark. He's in Jerusalem. In fact, Acts 12:12 tells us that his name is John Mark. Many people in the scriptures that are presented in detail, they have two names. One is a Jewish name, and one is a sir name, or a Roman name. John is his Jewish name. It is Yochanan. And Marcus is his Roman name. His name is John Mark.

Luke wrote both the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts. He is only mentioned three times in the New Testament. Luke is a Greek name, not Jewish. Many believe that he was a Gentile. I also believe that to be true. Luke was the only Gentile to be used to write a book of the Bible. The best evidence of him being a Gentile is in Colossians Chapter 4 Verses 11 through 14.

John was written by the apostle John. He is a different John than John the Baptist who is introduced to us in John Chapter 1 Verse 6. This is the apostle John. John the Baptist, and the apostle John are two different people. John also wrote 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and the book of Revelation.

  • Trusting God - In Reply on Leviticus 19:28 - 5 years ago
It shows in Genesis, when God concluded creating, He called all that had been created VERY GOOD. No mistakes.

You have to realize we are living in a Designer World. I am not mocking. Satan thinks he has you for keeps. He doesn't think you'll dare go to God and ask forgiveness for ALL sins (not just the surgery).

We see now on tv, people who become very depressed afterwards, mostly because their parents can't forget the baby they brought home from the hospital and nurtured.

Some transgenders commit suicide because of that spirit of rejection that comes in and makes his home in those people. Holding on to that soul with its claws hoping to take it to hell.

But people are able to come to their senses (Repent) and ask God to forgive and save their immortal souls.

Jesus died for all of humanity, from Genesis until now. No life was counted as not worthy. God so loved the WORLD...

Even now God stands ready to welcome those who receive His Son Jesus, as Savior and Lord; and be born again. John 3

Jesus gave us all He had.

Satan loses ownership of your immortal soul. The only way you can enforce your freedom from the darkness is to massively consume Gods Word, the Bible. There is NOW no condemnation to those who are (hid) in Christ Jesus.

The world system does not want anyone to get freed from it. The only lives that matter are the ones whose name is recorded in THE LAMBS BOOK of LIFE.

If you have to choose...choose Jesus. In heaven you will receive a NEW TRANSFORMED body and a white robe of righteousness.

Open the link above and read John 3 now.

Back at this websites link page; scroll down until you see Become A Christian, and take the steps. Believe what God says about himself and His Son.

in the bible Jesus plainly states their are five step to salvation 1.hear the gospel which is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. 2.believe the gospel. 3. repent of your sins.4. confess that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God.5. be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins.God is a forgiving God he loves us sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us . but we must obey what he tells us to do.
  • T39Ann - In Reply on Romans 6 - 5 years ago
Hi, God bless and I hope I can help you understand via the Word and Holy Spirit. It is of a truth the Holy Spirit is being poured out opon all flesh, but that does not mean a person is saved. And Christ can not be with a person if they are NOT saved. So the answer would be: correct, recieving Christ comes after salvation.

The word is very clear that even evil spirits know who the Son of God is. They do not worship Him, and that is why we must test the spirits. If there is no truth in a person then by thier words, as it is written, we can learn of what spirit they have or if they are lacking the Holy Spirit. Recieving the Holy Spirit can only be done by Christ, Jesus.
  • NO SINGING in USA CHURCHES on Matthew 24:9 - 5 years ago
I have to show this. Jesus is coming soon. Our freedoms are being stripped away. Guess we'll have to sing on the front lawn?

    *****

The radical Left is desperately exploiting the Coronavirus pandemic to expand their extreme agenda. This is what we warned you about.

California used the pandemic as a pretext to ban singing in church. Telling churches how they can worship God is an unthinkable abuse of power.

We're working night and day to fight back. Last week, we filed a MAJOR lawsuit on behalf of multiple churches; and just hours ago, we filed a critical motion for a preliminary injunction to quickly block enforcement of the singing ban. (ALCJ) Our fight DOES NOT STOP.

But we face a significant challenge. We're taking on a formidable state government (California) and its vast resources. And this case could quickly head to the Supreme Court. Sign the Petition.
