I can attest that there is such a person or two that was once baptized even as the Word states in His Holy Precious Name, but they were not sincere in thier salvation and loved wickedness and even one of them denounced "Faith", turning to worshipping idols, will for sure see Hell. Once saved always saved are for those who stay in the Faith and do not sin again. All Sin is unbelief and all unbelief is sin...without belief and salvation (both are obedience) a person has no hope for eternal life. Then all that is left is a fearful waiting for the firey indignation as the Word states. That was thier choice, God abliged. Infirmities and iniquities are different. We still can make mistakes.

please pray that God and the Holy spirit help me open my heart. Due to my upbringing I have learned to guard and shield myself. I am desperate for my heart to be opened to let Jesus come in and heal me. I hold nothing back from him. I want to give him all my painful memories, my clinical depression, my shame, everything. I also have a hard time receiving because I have felt or told I was unworthy many times growing up. I ask that you would help me to recieve the unconditional love of Jesus into my heart. Lastly, my trust has been broken. I don't trust anyone and its so painful and lonely. I've been betrayed and let down by family and people I thought I was close to. I need to trust God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help me. I want so badly more than anything to be able to trust and let go and recieve and heal my heart. I can't live with this pain and burden anymore. Please pray God helps me. I am so lonely. I don't have any friends. I lost my job and am trying to sober up out of a meth addiction. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I hope it gets easier.

    Dear Teresa

I was raised in a devout Catholic Church. As I grew into adulthood certain things caused me to question the RCC. My father a devout catholic left the church over the sex scandals. It caused me to further seak the truth. I visited other churches and talked to their members and still never felt comfortable. One day I was teaching my almost stepson the Ten Commandments from my catholic catechism book. My boyfriend, his dad at the time, said" those are not the right commandments" I was shocked and he gave me the KJV to check it out. That really infuriated me when I learned the RCC has changed the Bible. Both my husband and I felt like we needed more( he was baptist) and decided to pray about it. A few weeks later a prophecy seminar showed up in the mail. It looked awesome saying we would learn from the Bible.

We went to the month long seminar and it changed my life. I have learned how to read the Bible, decipher it's codes, precept by precept as Jesus has told us to do. Both historical and biblical fact prove the RCC was founded from paganism, is responsible for the murders of millions and is now furthering its evil intent on the world thru the pope. We continue to honor the Ten Commandments including the fourth, Remember the Sabbath! What a blessing to finally know the Bible truth. From the early Christians to the Waldenses to the Adventist's we must keep Gods word alive especially in these times. I will pray that God will show you the way as he did for me.

JESUS AND GOD ARE NOT ONE

Folks need to know some facts. We are living in the end times. Many people have been misled and need to know some facts. Do some research and learn the truth before it's too late. The Father and the Son are not one.

    1) God is the Father. Jesus is the Son.

How can we be sure? Scripture proves it many times over.

    There is One God, Deut 4:35, Isa 43:10, 44:6, 45:5-6, 18, 22

There is One Mediator between God

and men, the man Christ Jesus,

    1 Ti 2:5, Ac 2:22

Jesus was "MADE" of a Woman, Ga 4:4 whom God said:

"and he shall be to me a Son" Heb 1:5

    God Was "MANIFEST" (revealed)

"In The Flesh" (the life of Jesus), 1 Ti 3:16

Understand that God was "IN" Chr

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Note:17 above GOD warns us (we the brethren) that the dragon has declared war on us which keep the COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, and have The Testimony Of Jesus Christ.

Note: 11 above assures us VICTORY through THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB as it relates to SALVATION (see John 3:16-21 or similar WORDS OF GOD as it relates to SALVATION).

Note: when we accept THE SALVATION OF GOD through JESUS, the Whole Armor OF GOD is made available to us for both our defense and offence during the daily war /battles against us from the dragon. Battles SHALL comes and must be fought because we are in a war, and battles SHALL be fought daily especially our personal /individual battles. Never-the-less only being equipped with the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD which comes through JESUS is our daily battles won.

Note: Through JESUS we have the VICTORY in this war from the dragon according to 11 above.

Note: Dining at The Marriage Supper Of The LAMB is very near.

The Meaning of Matthew 24:40-41 and Luke 17:34-35, "Although many assume that those taken in Matt 24:40-41 and Luke 17:34-35 are taken to be with Jesus and those left behind are left for judgment, this interpretation should be rejected." Throughout the context of these passages Jesus uses judgment language reminiscent of the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem and the subsequent exile of its inhabitants. Those who were taken away were the ones judged by God whereas those left behind were the remnant who received grace.

Furthermore, the teaching of Jesus confirms this thesis. In the Parable of the Weeds the Son of Man sends his angels to gather out the children of the devil and throw them in the fiery furnace whereas the wheat is left behind ( Matt 13:36-43).

The context of Matt 24 and Luke 17 also suggests Jesus is intentionally using judgment and remnant language. Such language naturally brings up images of the former destruction of Jerusalem where the enemy came and "took away" (i.e., killed) those in the city.

Finally, the parallel with Noah and the flood in the preceding verses strongly confirms our thesis. Just as in the days of Noah the people were taken away by the great flood, so those who are not prepared will be taken away when the Son of Man returns.

I am awaiting with bated breath the return of Christ. However, those who are praying for a "rapture" should not. The "rapture" doesn't take place until AFTER Armageddon.

I have lost my job due to covid 19. The people in my apartment complex have been having parties in the parking lot until 3 -4 am and the landlord has done nothing about it. When I called the courtesy office at 3 am in order to get some sleep. The Tenants slashed my tires because he told them I called. They also inflicted $3000 worth of damage to my car and the landlord knows they are selling drugs as well. I gotta move and get the car fixed. I need a job ASAP. Please send up prayers for me.

No physical distance in workplace by emeshed couple who backstab everyone and were assigned for the backstabbing to work together for 2 yrs prior to COVID 19. No boundaries, each coworker has entered my workspace, the spouse attempting to take over my assigned work several times abandoning his own work assignment with another coworker in another location. I can not go to the bathroom, get a cup of coffee, or complete a task without getting the permission of the controlling coworker who has slandered me to every management or coworker on the entire shift because I told her to stay 6 ft away from me out of my physical space. The dysfunction of the lack of boundaries when assigned working together with the spouse or cohabitating partner does NOT WORK with independent coworker who needs 6 ft physical distancing. Other coworker taunt me publically. I have 4 more weeks. Pray those taunting me will be the next to get assigned to these coworkers to experience lack of boundaries.

Christians are in the mess we are in because of the Jehovah's Witnesses. The first Jehovah's Witness was the Devil himself, the former Archangel Lucifer with first hand knowledge of GOD.

He deceives EVE who persuades ADAM to eat the Forbidden Fruit from the tree in the Garden of Eden and put us Christians in the mess we are in.

Thankfully God helped me choose my wife in the faith and after a while God helped her choose me to be her husband in the faith. If there was matchmaking it was of God only and across several thousand miles of country between us!

25 years now of Holy Matrimony. I believe God once believers are on His same foundation can and will bless any marriage between one woman and one man.

    Luke 8:11

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."

    1 Peter 1:23

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

    Genesis 1:31

"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."

    Psalms 119:107

"I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word."

    Genesis 3:14

"And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

    Genesis 3:15

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

    2 Timothy 4:1

"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;"

    John 6:63

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

    John 20:29

"Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

    1Cor 15:45

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

John 10:36 Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God?

    Luke 3:38

"Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God."

I had a church tell me I was going to hell.

I told them busting peoples doors open early Saturday mornings for to evangelize, was not kind. I told them they would harden their hearts against God. They would "pray" anything to get us to leave. I had to stop going.

Next church believed all single people should be married ASAP. They did their own matchmaking.

You need to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the Pastor He wants to be your shepherd. He actually said turn here, go up 4 streets, turn left...I walked through the doors and Holy Spirit said there's your shepherd. I learned a lot there.

Pray. The Lord will find you the best, no matter how far you have to drive. :D

Dear Jesus make this easy for her and may her faith increase in your Goodness and Truth.

1 Corinthians 7 is the marriage chapter.

I'm old now so I can say outrageous things sometimes. I've been divorced 36 years. Live alone. I married for all the right reasons to the wrong person.

Mary and Joseph we're engaged. Supposed to be a year, but she had to tell Joseph she was pregnant. He sought advise from his pastor, who told him all the laws for "putting away" Mary. Then advised Joseph to accept it. Joseph had a dream and was told about Jesus. Book of Luke.

Dating would work better if we would take a year to really get to know who are we thinking of marrying. Everybody puts on a good front when dating a short time. It takes time to see the real face. Believers are NOT to marry unbelievers. We have no assurance they want to be saved, ever.

Date long enough (no sex) till you can determine if they are interested in sharing your love for Jesus.

This world system with its belief that 'anything goes' is NOT the voice to listen to.

It has a devil running around seeking someone to devour.

You need to be in prayer. Confess what happened. Ask for forgiveness. Ask God to help you. Christians are called to be at peace. If he is cruel mentally and emotionally and has ever threatened you; God may forgive the vow. I don't know.

I would go see my Pastor and give him a list of reasons to seek divorce.

I will pray for you to clearly hear from God on this issue. Read that chapter I gave you, slowly. The Bible does say God hates divorce. You can use the search boxes on this website to look up: bow, oath, marriage, divorce, put away. Your only safety in life will reflect how much of Gods Word you have in your heart (not head).

The strongest motives against sin, and to enforce holiness, are here stated. Being made free from the reign of sin, alive unto God, and having the prospect of eternal life, it becomes believers to be greatly concerned to advance thereto. But, as unholy lusts are not quite rooted out in this life, it must be the care of the Christian to resist their motions, earnestly striving, that, through Divine grace, they may not prevail in this mortal state.

Romans 11:1-19 is inspiring as well.

Sometimes I think of Jesus at the beginning as a spring that became rivers that flowed all the way to Jesus the Christ Child. The banks of the river belong to God too, inspiring the flow of Truth all the way to the Savior.

20 Well; because of unbelief ISRAEL were broken off, and thou (WE) standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

21 For if God spared not the natural (Israel) branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on THEM, which fell, severity; but toward US, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in AGAIN.

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this MYSTERY lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that BLINDNESS in part HAS HAPPENED to Israel, UNTIL THE FULLNESS of the Gentiles (US) be come in.

26 And so ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer (JESUS) and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob (ISRAEL).

27 For this is MY COVENANT unto ISRAEL when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they (Israel) are enemies for (US) your sakes: but as touching the election (US), they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

30 For as ye (US) in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through (ISRAELS) their unbelief:

31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through (GENTILE) your mercy they also (ISRAEL) may obtain mercy.

32 For God hath concluded them (Israel) all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all (Israel and Gentiles together).

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things:

Comment: Would be great if we'd just let God bring this Mystery to fruition.

Also not the same info that was in my moms bible. O well , still think this is what John probably ate. Who would chase bugs for breakfast. Plus God forbid his people to eat certain things, bugs is one of them, so I think.

Your testimony. I mean wow, I'm blown away at how Jesus Christ has worked in your life. And honestly I think people mistake alot from the bible, when it actually is the manual for living our lives. (You often hear "well, kids dont come with instructions" but, yet they do!.) Now I'm a sinner, been baptized in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Yet I stray. And sin. I did not heed the warnings God bestowed upon me, and now I'm asking for his help once again, hopeless to the idea of being able to leave my narcissistic husband. We are toxic together. Not only him but me as well. Please pray with me!
  • David A Man After God39s Own Heart - In Reply on Ephesians 5:26 - 5 years ago
The life of King David represents what a lot of people go through too. You'll have to search back through the comment room history pages 1-100, to see a study I did on Tamar; David's daughter.

David was "a man after Gods own heart." No matter what happened, or collapsed like a pile of leaves, David always turned towards God for his help/understanding.

"The Poet King" is how I've thought of him at times. Read his heart.

He praised and sang his heart out to God at every twist and turn. It gives me much comfort to read the Psalms Of David in his older life. His kids just wouldn't sit still. His enemies railed on him night and day.

Some people react to that by getting stoney in the heart; blaming God, their dad, Mom, The President; life in general, future in doubt. Blame is a vortex (like a tornado) that just spins around eating up your happiness and future; until you realize that YOU are the problem. Leave all the mess on the Altar of God and turn back to Him.

Walk BESIDE Him. Not dragging along behind Him. You know...when life gets so painful and it never lets up; pulsating with lost hope and plunges into darkness. Like driving a toothpick under a nail kind of pain?

Turn back to the one who has loved you so much, He was nailed to a cross for you!

Return to your first love; when you met Him the first time. Confess your meandering and be restored.

Grow up and move into son/daughter status. God isn't going to chase you down or drag you back home by the collar. You turn back to Him!

If you want to love people, family, fellowman; much better than currently: Grow up in Christ. Get off that blame train.

Be a person after Gods own Heart. Let Him be your Daddy.
