Around 1100 AD, the bloodline Jews were kicked out of Spain. They traveled east across Europe and were surprised to see a different people calling themselves "Jews". The Jerusalem Post wrote a full length article about it. History, research and science played a big part of uncovering what the Bible bears out.
Since the Ashkenazi Jews worship the Lord in synagogue, they have the right to be called Jews, but not recognized as genetic Jews of Abraham, Issac or Jacob.
I would drown myself in alcohol everyday after work. I was introduced to every kind of drug, but when I turn 26,
my brother told me to try heroin. immediately I thought, at least I won't have these hangover's anymore from
alcohol. but then I endured the worst addiction I've ever experienced. for three years it took to get off it.
in 2005 I was homeless on the streets of Santa Monica California, sleeping at the courthouse hoping to see a
judge about a ticket. 3 days without sleep I started crying, I found myself crying out to the Lord Jesus.
then I found a magazine from the Salvation Army, and I opened it and it had a picture of Jesus talking with a
child. this picture touched me, and all of a sudden I found myself walking to Venice California, someone along the
way referred me to the Bible Tabernacle Church near Venice beach. I met a man named Rico there, he told
me to come back in an hour and you can have dinner and spend the night at the men's house. so the next morning, I
met with another person. and he evaluated my skills, and told me I can join the ministry program. the next
morning I was told to read the Bible, I had received the Holy Spirit that morning, and a week later I got baptized
at the church. from then on I always depend on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. never drugs or alcohol.
Book 1: Psalms 1-41
Book 2: Psalms 42-72
Book 3: Psalms 73-89
Book 4: Psalms 90-106
Book 5: Psalms 107-150
It appears that each of these five books ends with a doxology or a praise, either "Praise the Lord!" or "Amen."
of your calling; ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, ONE God and Father
of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Eph 4:4-6
ANSWER: Yes, there is one body, a Jew Gentile body; the Body of Christ.
One faith, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and one real baptism. There are seven baptisms in the New Testament, but only one real baptism, and that is not a water baptism. And there are ten Gospels in the New Testament, but only one saving Gospel during the age of Grace.
Sorry, there's ONE Gospel:
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach ANY OTHER GOSPEL unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be
accursed." Gal 1:8. There is an Angel in the book of revelation, that preaches the everlasting Gospel, but he won't be accursed because it is a different dispensation. And during the Great Tribulation the Gospel of Peace is preached but no one is accursed, because it is a different dispensation.
I strongly doubt that Paul believed that Peter et al were ACCURSED. ABSOLUTELY NOT!
If you read carefully, the death, burial and resurrection ARE in the
apostles teaching. I think the difference is in signs and wonders and
in emphasis on OT fulfillment. Jesus needed Paul, with a PhD in The
Gospel. ANSWER: The death burial and resurrection is in all the Apostle's Gospels, only Paul has a little more that the rest don't have "how that Christ died for our sins". Here is the Gospel that the Here is the Gospel that most preachers preach today: Romans 10:9-13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Compare that Gospel with Paul's Gospel: NEXT POST:
Charles,
Paul, who you claim, preaches a different gospel than the apostles,
made it a practice to preach in synagogues in the cities he enters.
"And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into
the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both
of the JEWS and also of the GREEKS believed." Act 14:1
"And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the
JEWS and the GREEKS." Act 18:4
"And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which
dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both JEWS and
GREEKS." Act 19:10
"Testifying both to the JEWS, and also to the GREEKS, repentance
toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Act 20:21
ANSWER: Yes Paul preached to both Jews and Gentile. That what the Lord Jesus Christ told him to do. Acts 9:15 "But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:"
Neither Jew nor Greek... ANSWER: Romans 10:12 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him." Notice that the verse didn't say what they believed, but only that both had the same Lord.
"There is neither JEW nor GREEK, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus." Gal 3:28
"Where there is neither GREEK nor JEW, circumcision nor
uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all,
and in all." Col 3:11. ANSWER; Romans 3:30 "Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith." MORE: Galatians 2:7-8 "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; 8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)" NEXT POST:
"Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them MALE and FEMALE, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be ONE flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but ONE flesh." Mat 19:4-6
God made marriage and sexual union between MALE and FEMALE.
Jesus went on to say in essence that...
Marriage is ONE man and ONE woman becoming ONE flesh for ONE lifetime.
Any sexual activity outside of marriage is in rebellion to God's Design. Rebellion against God is a sin.
This Psalm was written in response to the destruction of The Temple in 586 BC by the Babylonians. The was God's own temple, and the psalmist is crying out to God to strike back at the Babylonian heathens. But this attack and the 70 years of captivity, were all part of God's plan to punish the Jewish nation and its people for straying from true worship of Him.
After the 70 years, some of the people returned and tried to rebuild the temple, but the results were disappointing.
God had warned them centuries before in Deuteronomy, what would happen, and it did.
Jews were often also referred to as Hebrews since they spoke the Hebrew language.
Gentiles were what the Jewish people have called non-Jews. Anyone who is not of Jewish ancestry would be considered a Gentile. Gentiles were also referred to in The Bible as the nations, that is, the people from every nation other that Israel.
The Jews are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God promised all three that He would bless them and make of them a great nation and that through a descendant, the world would be blessed. That descendent is Jesus.
God also promised that Israel would have a land. After Jesus died and arose, in about 30 AD, the Jews were driven out of their land after The Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD. Jews were without a country for almost 2000 years, but in 1948, they became a nation again in the land that God had previously promised. Most of the Jews today, still don't believe that Jesus was their Messiah, but that WILL HAPPEN, and I believe that it will be soon!
This does seem to be where he only saw Peter and James, only noted as apostles in Acts 9:27, as Barnabas took him to them. A little detail we don't get in Galatians.
The Flood lasted 5 months. No one, even a huge man who might climb a tree, could survive without food for 150 days.
"And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days." Gen 7:24
