The whole Book of Romans describes our present day realities of what we see happening all around us.

To choose to deny Gods existence shows that people are reprobate in their minds and hearts. Homosexuals where it says, "it's not meet", points to illness of their bodies.

If you read Acts 15, the disciples actually simplified the requirements of the Gentile converts. Paul himself upheld the Law of God, the 10 commandments. The decalogue was and will never change, they were written by God himself and He never changes. Without Law there is no sin. Without sin Christ died in vain

Christ preached the gospel of Grace. Even though I am a sinner, through Christ's death I am declared righteous. The death of a lamb signified the death of Christ, Col 2:16,17. And that is why when Christ died, being the ultimate sacrifice, there was no need of another. Mosaic laws dictated that if you sin a lamb had to be sacrificed and this is what Christ nailed on the cross Col 2:14

the dead is unconscious and knows nothing

My ammo is the Love of God. The Lamb could have defended himself but for love he chose to give Life, even his own.

These died refusing to worship the beast and take the mark 666. They are with Christ and will live with him for the thousand year intro to the kingdom.

I would find another church if the pastor is that ignorant of scripture.

The few that did go around to where Paul was in gentile nations, they went in their and was telling Paul's converts that they had to follow the law still.

The disciples were still preaching the gospel of the Kingdom. And Paul was preaching the gospel of Grace. 2 different gospels in time. Cause up until Christ came and died on the cross for all of us, it was the gospel of the Kingdom. But after His resurrection, it was the gospel of Grace.

Maribell, I believe that the Devil created evil by his first action to oppose God. Jesus said in John 8:44: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." This verse tells us that from the very beginning the Devil's sinful condition & existence was evident.

Also read Ezekiel 28:12-19 & particularly verse 15, "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." Though this discourse is directed to the King of Tyrus, it clearly has a strong reference to the wicked spirit within the heart of the King (read from verse 2) that has its root in the Devil (formerly an anointed cherub in Heaven).

We don't understand the mechanics of the actual start of evil since something pure (e.g. a glass of clean water) doesn't magically become dirty unless something dirty is added to it. But we believe that in spite of the Cherub's purity in his creation by God, something entered his 'heart' to want oppose his Creator, to be like God (pride), to be disobedient & to start his own following of angels that sinned with him. And aren't these the very reasons for Adam & Eve's downfall & all of mankind? We are disobedient & want to believe that we are 'demi gods' who are equipped with God's Wisdom & Power & can do anything we want, even in opposition to God's Will & Design. Yet, we soon find that we fall woefully short of perfection & the Devil himself knows that he can never be like God & will one day have to pay eternally for his wickedness & leading so many people into Hell with him. That's why God in His great Love sent His pure Son to save us & forever defeat the works of the Devil in us.

My son, Drew, needs enlightnment to the truth of his family. He is being brainwashed and believing the evil. I thought he was saved as a child, but now I am not so sure. Pray for God to love him and show him truth and to be a Christian example to his children and to heal his relationship with his parents and brother.

Will people be saved during the great tribulation? I heard a minister say that anyone left on earth after the rapture are finished.

From my reading of the word, with the Holy Spirit's help, there seems to me to be nothing that says we will be taken out of here before Christ's return. The question of two being together and one taken away is answered by Christ with his saying that the one taken is taken to where the eagles gather and where the eagles are, there the slain are. Also Job 39:40 talks about that place of the eagles being where the slain are. Ephesians 1:20 says when we are saved, immediately we are seated in

Christ in the Heavens (the New Heavens ) where we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in high places. Although we don't feel it right now, we're already there. We are Christ's bride. Rev 21:2. We ARE the New Jerusalem so when Christ returns, there we are with him. Rev 21:10. He comes here to earth WITH the New Jerusalem, gathers up to us those who are remaining here on the earth and CONTINUES to come down to the earth where we will rule with him here on the earth and kings and judges for 1000 years. Nowhere does it say he comes down and then returns back up, but rather proceeds to come down here TO RULE for 1000 years. This is the truth as I have read it from the Word of God, Jesus Christ. He IS the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, and he is alive, the living Word.

Brian, first of all, there is only one earth. God created the earth with a Purpose and that Purpose is Christ ( Col 1:16). Everything happened here. With respect to the days of creation, St. Augustine and many of the Church Fathers questioned whether the 6 Days of Creation were literal 24 hour days. In Genesis 2:5-9, for example, tells us plants and trees took time to grow. God, we are also told, planted a garden in Eden. The implication is that planting, watering and cultivating a garden takes time. So the question is, do we do Scripture justice by insisting that God created everything in 6 literal days?

The Days of Genesis are probably more than likely periods time, phases of development, stages. This is not a new thought. What has confused many is the fear of accepting that the word 'Day' is not literal. Many Christians fear God will not be happy with them and think admitting it is tantamount to denying the infallibility of Scripture.

But take a peek at Hebrews 3-4. There Paul explicitly tells us that we are still in the 7th Day of God's Rest. And that Day will come to an end at the coming of Christ. So, if the 7th Day can be 6,000 years old, why can't the 1st Day be as long? Now, St. Augustine believed God created us imperfect (able to die, experience pain and suffer). We were supposed, he said, to work our way into Paradise. But when man disobeyed, he failed to perform the works that would lead him to Paradise.

What I want everyone to think about is that God created everything that exists, not for its own enjoyment or road to Paradise. God created for Christ to enter creation to eradicate, annihilate, destroy and put an end to corruption (physical, moral, spiritual), pain, suffering, evil, death and to establish eternal perfection in all things God creates. That is why God stopped creating on the 7th Day, to resume creating a new earth and universe, after His Purpose for this existence is accomplished in Christ, who is the Tree of Life.

Psalms 95 Really is one clear scripture. Most humans have busy lives and at moments they forget that God even exist.

I think this scripture is about how God is reminding us to take time and come to our senses, praise him every chance we get. Worship like it's no tomorrow & be humble to are God for he is are king creator and everything above.
