When talking about Jews, you need to identify the real bloodline Jews from the 740 AD mass conversions of Ashkenazi Jews. 95% of todays Ashkenazi Jews are of Japheth (Gentile), not Shem (Semitic). Gen 10:2-3 shows Ashkenazim to be the grandson of Japheth. For this reason, may Japheth live in the tents of Shem where they currently reside. at the church. from then on I always depend on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. never drugs or alcohol.

The pre-tribulation rapture theory was introduced in the 1830's by John Nelson Darby who was considered be the father of Dispensationalism and Futurism. The pre-tribulation rapture theory is not scriptural no matter how a person attempts to "sell" this theory. Jesus said in Matthew 24:13, "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved". But don't stop there, because one needs to read verses 10 thru 16 and beyond in order to read it in context. Let God be true and every man a liar.

This Psalm was written in response to the destruction of The Temple in 586 BC by the Babylonians. The was God's own temple, and the psalmist is crying out to God to strike back at the Babylonian heathens. But this attack and the 70 years of captivity, were all part of God's plan to punish the Jewish nation and its people for straying from true worship of Him.

After the 70 years, some of the people returned and tried to rebuild the temple, but the results were disappointing.

God had warned them centuries before in Deuteronomy, what would happen, and it did.

Jews were often also referred to as Hebrews since they spoke the Hebrew language.

Gentiles were what the Jewish people have called non-Jews. Anyone who is not of Jewish ancestry would be considered a Gentile. Gentiles were also referred to in The Bible as the nations, that is, the people from every nation other that Israel.

The Jews are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God promised all three that He would bless them and make of them a great nation and that through a descendant, the world would be blessed. That descendent is Jesus.

God also promised that Israel would have a land. After Jesus died and arose, in about 30 AD, the Jews were driven out of their land after The Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD. Jews were without a country for almost 2000 years, but in 1948, they became a nation again in the land that God had previously promised. Most of the Jews today, still don't believe that Jesus was their Messiah, but that WILL HAPPEN, and I believe that it will be soon!

So, taking a little more time and looking into Acts 9:26-27 and Galatians 1:17-18 it does seem to be the same experience. It just got a little confusing as it goes directly from Paul preaching first in Damascus and getting let down in a basket by the disciples to save him, not saying he went to Arabia or three years passing, then saying he came to Jerusalem in the next verse in Acts 9:25-27.

This does seem to be where he only saw Peter and James, only noted as apostles in Acts 9:27, as Barnabas took him to them. A little detail we don't get in Galatians.
