    They are the Godhead.

Happiness is good. It makes people smile.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

I am beginning to understand what Jesus meant with this

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

    what is a dog?

Deuteronomy Chapter 2317 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God.

    Parallelism this is called.

One never knows when a sheep will clean off the filth of this world and be strong in Christ.

Glenn, Hoarding? What did Joseph do in Egypt? he saved food for hard times. Jesus in Matthew 24 warned of famine so what should we do? Some will claim this does not apply to Christians, I beg to differ. Jesus was not speaking to unbelievers.

We should plant the seed and pray and trust the Lord to provide the rain.

    Look up Holodomor

I need prayer for God's Protection around me daily as a Quality Inspector at my new job. I was moved to another building for some reason I don't know. Two coworkers are being evil towards me for no reason & doesn't want me to make it as an Inspector. I'm getting to the point that I don't want to work with people anymore. Pray that God blesses me with a work from home job as a Customer Support Representative & need prayer for a Huge Money Blessing to come to me now so I can buy high speed internet, to buy a New Computer or a New Lap Top & New Office Equipment to work from home. Thank you in advance for praying for me and with me

Greetings Adam, interesting name this one commented on has. I looked it up and this is what I found.

Wickedpedia: Anri Okita is an English born Japanese actress, singer, songwriter and former p ornographic actress.

what a name to take. someone that takes their clothes off and calls it acting.
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 5 years ago
    Hi Anri,

I'm not sure if you mean that or if you're attempting to show the thinking of a non-Christian?

If the former, then these false assumptions are based on false info. The Bible isn't corrupted. I don't know what you mean by 'stained' part of the Bible, either?

I haven't heard many people say such things recently, as the dead sea scrolls debunked the critics' lies and conspiracy theories. People used to make those claims that there were errors, etc. until they found the scrolls in the 1940s that were nearly 2,000 years old and today's translation compared to then matched perfectly. This means the Bible has been accurate the entire time. It is the most sold, read, inspiring, motivational, transformative, challenging, given away, and life changing book in world history. Nearly 2/3 of the population of the earth believes it's God's word, the rest at minimum recognize its profound historical value. So, I'm not sure what you're talking about by 'corrupted'- where's the evidence of that and who is making that claim?

Thank you Chris for the very helpful, thorough and expansive answer to my question. Truly appreciated and I do believe it gives me closure to my question. I know it is faith that is dominant in following Jesus. At the same time, when doing a deeper study questions do come to awareness and while my faith was not disturbed I could not get closure on my reasoning with it being an assumption that it was Mary's lineage in Luke 19:23.

Hello, usually someone with an addiction puts that first in their life above other things, above God. If you put something above God that is called idolatry. Also, our bodies are holy temples loaned to us by God and are made in his image. So, there's more than one angle that shows addictions are bad and sinful. God bless...

No, Jesus isn't 'above' the father. I don't think its a hierarchy. John 10:30.

    >Then in fact if u get God the Father to say it

Yes, God is perfect and doesn't lie or sin. I don't understand what you mean by your comment. You can't trick or manipulate God into anything, if that's what you mean.
  • Adam - In Reply on John 3:16 - 5 years ago
Who told you that? You can see the other translations for yourself by clicking on the verse and scrolling down to 'other translations'. All of them are nearly word for word and the meaning is exactly the same. So, whomever told you that was a fabrication.
  • Spade on John 3:16 - 5 years ago

The present wellbeing in a person's life is no indication of their future disposition:

    Ecclesiastes 8:11-13

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

    See also Psalm 73.

There are 5,000 Greek manuscripts of the new testament and ZERO Hebrew ones. Show me from the Bible YESHUa anywhere in the new testament and I know it does not exist.

Greek was the common language of business in the days of Jesus. Even many Romans knew Greek.

Alexander the Greek conquered the entire area and insured this happened. Alexandria Egypt was named for him.

Rome only recently conquered Israel prior to the days of Christ. Do you really think Pilate spoke to Jesus at the trial in Latin or Hebrew? Mostly likely they spoke Greek.

In Matthew 27:46 and 47 Jesus spoke Hebrew and the Jews did not even understand what he was saying.

Paul said this about this YESHUa stuff

Bible book of Titus 1:14 - Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?

A: Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I (Jesus speaking to the Jews) unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (So what nation spread the news of Jesus?)

Certainly not the Jews, so it was Greeks.

Corinthians, Ephesians, Thessalonians were all Greek churches in Greece who spread the gospel, not the Jews.

King James Bible book of John 5:16 - And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

John 7:1 - After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

1 Corinthians 16:22 - If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema (CURSED) Maranatha.

DO JEWS LOVE JESUS OR ARE THEY CURSED?

If you want to call Jesus by a Hebrew name use Emmanuel / Immanuel since that name is in both new and old testaments.

People google this " NOAHIDE YESHU" see how they feel about Jesus
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Psalms 25 - 5 years ago
Mamma T You are on the right track about sodomy. The King James Bible is clear, new Bibles are not.

Modern media is pro everything God hates and calls abomination. Find out who owns the media is a worthy step toward identifying the antichrists.

Zondervan is the exclusive printer of the NIV Bible.

Zondervan is the largest printer of Bibles in the English speaking world.

They are owned by Harper Collins which prints gay porn and the Satanic Bible for the church of satan.

Their parent company is the News Corp we know as Fox TV.

    Bad tree = bad fruit.

They are changing the word definitions. Gay used to mean happy, now it is a sodomite.

A nation that tolerates things the Lord calls abomination brings curses upon the nation.

    Sound familiar?

The question or comment I have to state is since the Bible Says that "...IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE?"CORRECT Yes ? Now if In the beginning was God and the Word was with God and the Word was God And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us ? So Jesus being the Word of God and The Father God cannot Lie GIVES NE THE conclusion IN MY MIND IS AS FOLLOWS -If you get the Father God to say something then he must honor his Word and do it whatever he says he does by his Word? Then in fact if u get God the Father to say it then according to this Word even God the Father becomes Subject to his WORD FOR HE CANNOT LIE .?Jesus is above all even the father in power or am I mistaken?

" Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is LORD?"

Praise God for your love and kindness to those in need of a friend and some kindness.

I write all my Bibles until I can barely read it. I cannot toss them. They're like elderly "friends". I'm thinking about taking them to the park and leave them on a park bench. Gotta pray for the Lord to let someone in need find it.

Makes me remember an old song by Mac Davis: Whoever Finds This - I Love You.

Have a listen on YouTube. So sweet.
  • Mishael on Health and Healing warfare - In Reply on Matthew 24 - 5 years ago
I'm getting up in age and I hear a suggestive voice say I'm falling apart, but I know that's a lying spirit. I don't receive that suggestion. I do what I see Jesus do in the scripture. He tells all those spirits to: LEAVE me. (Then send them to a place they despise) ... go into DRY places and stay there! In the glorious Name above all other names: Jesus! (It hurts their feet.)

Harassment and Hindering go together like fire + brimstone. Call them both and send them out to the dry places.

One good thing is that our faith in Jesus is being enlarged. We see how HE does it and we Copy what He does. I don't talk to them. I see their "fruit" and it gives me their names.

Carman has a new CD of the old gospel tunes. You can play it on youtube. I make those spirits listen to gospel music all the time. They hate it and leave....because the angels love it. We hang out.

Jesus gave us power from Him to tread on "serpents" and exercise authority over them. They don't have AUTHORITY to trouble us anymore; or cause illness (spirit of infirmity) or weakness (spirit of wasting).

Someday we'll be in heaven skipping around like deer and all those demons will be in hell, bugging Satan. Praises to Jesus :D

I'm going for a 15 minute walk to keep my muscles & tendons moving around like me.

I'll keep you in my prayers for the Prayer Request room.

My adult children are pro homosexuality. The way I read the bible as quoted in Lev. A man should not lay with a man nor a women with a women. That to me makes it pretty clear.

I was also looking for the quote that says that a marriage should be between a man and women, but with these "New revised" versions of the Bible that are made more socially acceptable they have taken all of the meat and potatoes out.

    Can someone help me.

So many teachers say that China and The United States are not mentioned in the Bible.

Who do they think the Bible is referring to when it says ALL NATIONS in prophecy ??
  • Diane on Psalms 25 - 5 years ago
These few verses let's us know if we truly love and personally, know the Lord Jesus as Savior or if not, we are found liars: John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." 1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
