The Bible says of one comments adultery, ot ok with God to divorce. Does that mean it's ok for the non-adulterer to remarry?

Why do people ignore the name Emmanuel / Immanuel? it is in both the old and new testaments.

Yeshua or Jesus? Heresy or Hebrew roots? Is Yeshua a denial of our English Bible that was new testament that was written in Greek, not Hebrew. No one can show us from the Bible alone that Jesus was ever called YESHUA.

Luke Chapter 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.

28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

(Angel Gabriel gave JESUS his name from the Lord)

so by what scriptural authority does anyone have to call him YESHUa?

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his

    father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

YESHU is a curse that means may his name be blotted out. This is commonly used by those who claim to be Noahides.

They claim Noah was given a set of laws, yet they exist only in the minds of Rabbis. I can not find Noah being given any laws in my King James.

Contrast the flight from Egypt at the Passover

Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I (God) bare you on EAGLE eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

With this Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great EAGLE eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

I say the woman is the church, though most will disagree with me

He who is without sin, cast the first stone.

We are all imperfect and unworthy. It is through the blood that was shed for the atonement of our sins (which is the breaking of HIS commandments, statues and ordinances which WERE and ARE given to us as guidelines) that we may seek redemption. The New Testament (written by the apostles and St. Paul )DOES NOT CANCEL OUT that which is written in the TORAH or PROPHETS.

In our present state of "unholiness" we can only pray that our LORD helps us and gives us the strength to avoid temptations. Probably impossible because there are so many "things" that surrounds and fulfils our earthly life, that is why there is repentance and forgiveness.

Yoke not yourself with unbelievers and pray, pray, PRAY for we will be judged according to our works, but we are all HIS children and through HIS SON our MESSIAH, HE is merciful.

May the LORD bless you and keep you safe.

Comments by Alex about the lineage of Christ. Scriptures say that Christ was the Word made flesh and blood. JESUS was not of this world i.e not by any mans seed only by the living WORD MADE FLESH AND BLOOD the living WORD is Gods seed. He tells the Jews you are of this world i am not of this world, you are from beneath i am from Above, he was a celestrial being not a terestrial being. God almighty was his absolute Father thats how he had the power to sow that Good Seed the very seed of God in humanity.Jesus asked the pharisees what think ye of Christ whos seed is he? they replied Davids seed then Jesus said if David calls him Lord how can he be his son his lineage etc. then they durse not ask him any more Questions he was only the son of david SIMBOLICLY i.e this relationship between david and solomon was just a metaphor of Christ and his son the H.G. tHAT IS GONNA BUILD A GREATER TEMPLE THEN SOLOMON IN OUR HEARTS. As the kingdom is gonna be with in US SINNERS. IN OUR HEARTS ETC. GBU

I googled the blood factors and you're right. He has his fathers blood and an alelle factor from Mary.

His blood type can be the Fathers blood.

We do know the Bible says that Jesus is WITHOUT sin right up to the Cross.

I have a couple of those genealogy charts from googling. You have to save it to your photos to be able to enlarge it so you can read it. Just google "genealogy of Jesus".

For the person who was looking for the answer to Abigail being called Nabal's wife, Chapter 25 explains that she was widowed because the Most High smote Nabal for not showing David hospitality and helping him.

Because she was not a virgin bride and the genealogy would be confused by using a different title, she is called Nabal's widow, who later married David. Does that make sense?

    David's wives so far:

Michal, Saul's daughter and first wife of David

Abigail, Nabal's widow, and the second wife of David

Ahinoam the Jezreelites, and the third wife of David

One can assume the other two brides were virgins at the time of marriage.

    Mishael,

I do understand that Joseph is related by blood to David but that has nothing to do with Jesus since Joseph was only a step father, no blood relationship. I also understand that a baby has his father's blood. That is the original point of my question. The only blood is this birth is from the mother, Mary. The father is our Father, God Almighty and his spirit came upon Mary to conceive Jesus as scripture says. So, the lineage of Joseph is immaterial. God's Spirit is the father and Mary's blood is necessary for Jesus to be blood lined to David. But there is no mention in scripture of Mary's bloodline. I guess I have to accept that the lineage told in Luke for some reason just does not mention Mary and we are to only assume it is Mary's.

Lead me in thy truth - In the way which thou regardest as truth, or which thou seest to be true. Truth is eternal and unchanging. What God sees and regards as truth is true, because he sees things as they are; and when we have the divine estimate of anything, we understand what the thing is. It is not that he makes it to be true, but that he sees it to be true. Such is the perfection of His nature that we have the utmost assurance that what God regards as truth is truth; what He proclaims to be right is right. It is then His truth, as He adopts it for the rule of His own conduct, and makes it known to His creatures to guide them.

And teach me - Since this would be understood by the psalmist, it would be a prayer that God would teach him by His law as then made known; by His Spirit in the heart; by the dispensations of His providence. As applicable to us, it is a prayer that He would instruct us by all the truths then made known, and all that have since been revealed; by His Spirit in its influences on our hearts; by the events which are occurring around us; by the "accumulated" truth of ages; the knowledge which by all the methods He employs He has imparted to people for their guidance and direction.

For thou art the God of my salvation - The word "salvation" is not to be understood here in the sense in which it is now commonly used, as denoting deliverance from sin and future ruin, but in the more general sense of "deliverance" - deliverance from danger and death. The phrase is synonymous with "preservation," and the idea is that the psalmist regarded God as his preserver; or that he owed his protection and safety in the time of danger to Him alone.

On thee do I wait - That is, I rely on Thee; or, I am dependent on Thee. He had no other source of reliance or dependence.

All the day - Continually, always. He was really dependent upon Him at all times, and he felt that dependence. It is always true that we are dependent upon God for everything.

Comments about that 3 rd Heaven Paul saw. 1st of all that 3 rd heaven is in humanity as Jesus said the tabernacle of God is with man, and i will dwell in them and have my being in them and i will be their GOD they shall be MY PPL ETC,And if any man ( humanity ) hears my words and keeps them MY FATHER and i will come and take our abode with him thus that 3rd heaven is within mankind, abide in me and i in you But it was unlawfull to speak this in the o.t. as God was in the ark of the covenant in the most holy place not with in the levitical priesthood. the ark was the 1st heaven, the 2 nd being in the tabernacle that Solomon built. But Solomon said the heavens cannot contain thee , How must less this tabernacle that i have built ,But the 3 rd heaven is in mankind thats y he refers to himself as the Son of MAN. Jesus said not here nor there but with in you. The Tabernacle of God is with man and he shall abide with them and be their GOD ETC Thus the 3rd heaven is God /Christ in you the hope of glory, Remember Rev 11: 15 the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our lord and his Christ. This is the final and the 3 rd heaven God Almighty living with in his ppl .via the NEW BIRTH. THE Tabernacle of God is with man. He dwelleth with you but shall be within you. When God described the new covenant he said he wd put his WORDS ( HIS spritual SONS ) the H.G.IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS AND I WILL BE THEIR God and they shall be my PPL. GBU

    Alex,

The legal term for adoption can be found in Luke 3:23. The term "as was supposed" is defined as "as reckoned by law / "to lay down a thing as law" / "to hold by custom, or usage." This is the legal term used for adoption.

The father of Joseph is Jacob, as can be seen from Matthew 1:16.

The father of Mary is Heli, as can be seen from Luke 3:23.

The lineage of Jesus goes from Mary, through David, through Adam, to God Himself.

The birth of the Savior of the world was promised long before prophecy of David came into light. ( Genesis 3:15). The birth of this One will defeat death itself.

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Comments about the Godhead which is Father Son and GRANSON that is gonna result in an Israel of God a heavenly nation that is gonna be born in US. A lil one is gonna become a 1000 AND A SMALL ONE A STRONG NATION I the LORD will hasten it in its Time,Thats y jesus refers to the H.G AS THE PROMISE he is truly the Granson the beginning of an Israel of God The result of that good seed the Word the seed of God, our new heart and new spirit our new innerman which is the H.G.Being born again of an incorruptible seed etc even by the word of God,Just as Solomon came out of the loins of David,Solomon means Comforter in hebrew. Bathsheba was comforted at the birth of Solomon. In the spirit the H.G. comes out of Christ loins ( his Word was his breath ) the good seed that PRODUCES A BIRTH OF CHRIST IN US the new birth. The H.G. can only come via his seed the Word.At pentacost the H.G fell on them that heard his Word initiating a birth of Christ in them. Thus the H.G is truly the granson an Israel of God simply b/c Christ is the sower of that good seed the Word which makes Christ the FATHER OF THE H.G.Thats y isaiah calls Christ everlasting father he is the father of the H.G. A BABY Christ remember what jesus said unless you receive the Kingdom as a lil child you will in no wise enter there in.Isaiah says there shall come a rod a (child) outta of the stem of Jesse/ David, CHRIST JESUS was that Child that came outta of God Almighty AND THE H.G is the Branch that comes out of Christ LOINS HIS WORDS ETC HIS BREATH .Remember Jesse David and Solomon was father son and grandson. Also Abraham Issac and Jacob was father son and granson the begining of the nation of natural ISRAEL and GOD tells Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob that is my name FOREVER and my memorial to ALL GENERATIONS God could not say that if his Kingdom were not a trinity of Father Son and Granson AN Israel of GOD that is coming soon when the woman gives birth to the manchild which is the H.G. Gods Israel

  • Mishael on Fools - In Reply on Mark 7 - 5 years ago
I think the word you wrote is misspelled.

The Bible has much to say about fools. The word fool today usually means "a senseless fellow, a bad character. The biblical definition has the added dimension of "someone who disregards God's Word."

The Bible lists many characteristics of such a person, often contrasting him with one who is wise. Ecclesiastes 10:2 says, "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the FOOL to the left."

A fool is one whose wayward heart turns continually toward foolishness. "Fools speak foolishness and make evil plans" ( Isaiah 32:6).

Proverbs 26:11 says, "As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly."

Fools do not learn their lessons from the mistakes they make. They continue doing the same foolish things over and over again, to their own destruction ( Proverbs 18:7).

The following is a partial list of some characteristics of a fool from the BOOK OF

    PROVERBS:

    A fool hates knowledge (1:22)

Takes no pleasure in understanding (18:2)

Enjoys wicked schemes ( Proverbs 10:23)

    Proclaims folly ( Proverbs 12:23)

    Spurns a parent's discipline (15:5)

Speaks perversity (19:1), is quick-tempered (12:16), gets himself in trouble with his proud speech (14:3) mocks at sin (14:9), is deceitful (14:8)

Despises his mother (15:20). A foolish child brings grief to his or her parents (17:25; 19:13)

A foolish man commits sexual immorality (6:32; 7:7-12)

A foolish woman tears down her own house (14:1).

(The worst of all). Psalm 14:1

The fool hath said in his heart, THERE IS NO GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; there is none that does good.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to look that up.

I preach against abortion frequently. I tried to appeal to our greedy sides: that America is aborting FUTURE taxpayers that would be alive, educated, earning income and paying taxes; so that those of us that bought into that silly dream; could retire and eat.

It might have worked except people are having their futures scraped out. Many years ago a friend admitted she had 6 previous abortions and asked me to give her a ride to get #7 !! I begged her to let me adopt her child! She refused me, so I refused her. Broke my heart. I wept before the Lord till I ran dry. I asked Him when He would stop the murders? I'm crying again.

He said He would take care of it. I'm looking...but people don't seem to care.

No legislation passes Congress. They will have to give an account for it someday.

I preached that all those little babies are in heaven NOW. Anyone who ever had an abortion, will see their child with their Heavenly Father. It's the only peace I have concerning this.

Please keep letting people know what their babies bodies were used for.

MY COMPLETION ON LEITICVUS: This was the way that God sanctified or separated His people making them holy people, for He is Holy. This would continue to make a distinction between them and the world, at that time, and above all to give Him glory. Everyone knew them because of God's grace and mercy He gave to the Israelites. In their obedience, which they had t6o be, would bring them blessings. They were to remain unspotted from the world, as we should, today. This is why it is written, for our admonition/learning. Of course, these things changed after Jesus came on the scene and gave His life for us. AS Psalm 118,8 says, "It is better to trust God than to put your confidence in man.

Adeleye, we generally understand that Paul was referring to himself when he described this vision & revelation given to him. The reason that he speaks this way was probably because of the sights & sounds that were open to him & what he shared in his letter might cause his readers to think of him as more superior to others (vv 5,6). So to counteract that sense of superiority, he's diverting their attention off himself & speaking in the 'third' person. In fact, just so that he wouldn't sense any personal superiority & fall into sin, the Lord had given him a 'thorn in the flesh' to keep him humble (v7).

The "third Heaven" being referred to is Heaven, the place of God's abode. The first heaven being the sky & the second being the universe of planets & stars. So Paul is saying that the Lord gave him the privilege of looking into God's Abode with all the angelic host & what he heard & saw was unutterable to mankind because of its glory & splendour.

After all the plagues you would think he'd know Moses's God was doing it.

He was raised Egyptian and he only worshipped Egyptian gods. His gods couldn't bring his son back to life.

First thing God Created was Time. He set a clock in motion for people, animals, everything. God lives outside of time and inside of time.

He's the Alpha and the Omega: the beginning, and the end.

He doesn't chart our lives or our choices. He gave us a free will regarding choices.

As you can see with the plagues presented to Pharaoh; God was at work in Pharaohs will to help him change his mind. But he was greedy and wanted free labor forever.

God knew which way Pharaoh was going to choose.

He knows which way we're all going to choose. Look up reprobate. Some people just will not choose To seek God: no matter how many times God reaches out to them within their wills.

Satan is the bigshot I WILL in the world. That's his speech for everything.

So do we sometimes: I will do what I wanna do no matter who I hurt!! Ever heard that fly out of your mouth? I hope not.

God wants us to choose Jesus. It's out there. The good news. Question is... are we going to accept the free Gift of God?

    Have you?

Ther is so much that can be expounded upon. it would take over the number of characters, so I will try to make it simple. All of what we have read are God's laws, judgments, ordinances, statutes, and commandments for the Israelites in those days. Altogether, these terms, being used interchangeably, were for the people of God to be obedient in keeping them. These things were a type of rituals to be performed as God had instructed them, including the strangers among them. The cleansings were not baths like what we do today to be lean. Nor were any of His ordinances or statues were to be taken literally. They were ceremonial and definitely spiritual, and holy. See my next completion.
