    Proverbs 6?
  • Chris - In Reply on 1 John 3 - 5 years ago
Eugene, Rereward is an old English word taken from the French word (from my search - I don't speak French): arriere-garde. And this means, rear-guard. So in Isa 58:8, 52:12; Josh 6:9,13; Num 10:25 & 1 Sam 29:2, the thought is of someone or something coming behind you for protection or safety.

If an army troop or any foot patrol went through a possible hidden enemy presence, the formation always had a couple of scouts way ahead to check out the forward position of the main body of men, & a rear-guard (affectionately called, Tail-end Charlie) who constantly looked behind him for enemy presence following them. These positions assisted the main body to check their flanks & in the trees, confidently putting their trust in Tail-end Charlie to keep their backs secure. One slip up by him & they could be all dead. Even on the sports field, no man plays the game on his own - he's part of the team, dependent on others to secure a win.

And so in Isaiah too, it is God's Glory that would follow Israel, as He was the reason for Israel's existence, her confidence & security, & He would be their Rear-Guard if only they would abide by His requirements upon them. Yet, how often they failed Him even with the Promises of God their blessed possession.

Did you see the comment AFTER that?

Go to God and complain. He'll have to deal with me. I spoke of having a deepening relationship with the Godhead.

Tomorrow, I'll do a study on debates, strivings, disputes. Lots of scripture on that!

    volution is a false religion.

Archaeology, geology& other sciences prove the earth is billions of years old.

Science has proved the Bible is accurate.

Nothing evolves; it adapts to change; environment.

Between Genesis chapter one, verse 1 and 2, maybe billions of years passed. HOWEVER, God did not Create TIME recording until Genesis 1:1: "In Beginning"

In the Hebrew that verse does not say: In THE beginning. God set TIME in motion before he began creating.

IF you have a Bible with the center of each page, references to other scriptures that backup, explain or reference to even more scriptures: you'll get a glimpse of the pre-Creation things that God made.

Scientists have found whole skeletons of dinosaurs and other creatures, and say they did not die by fire or asteroids. They died rapidly: as if frozen fast. I've seen many scriptures that refer to ice, hoar frost; Job refers to Gods storehouses of snow, hail, etc. All planets show evidence of once having water; but not anymore. Except earth. The Bible says God SHOOK the earth and turned it UPSIDE DOWN.

If it's necessary for you to be born again after all this is proved; then get after it. There are no more debates. Let God be true, and every man a liar. God cannot lie.

Don't delay being born again. Time is almost done for this Age.

I do not dispute with science. I do dispute with evolution.

I believe that Jesus does not want me to be ignorant of the ways of the devil. Knowing the truth about the u.s government along with Hollywood's subliminal campaign has changed me . I declare that peace and joy come from only Jesus and his gift of the holy spirit that is in me, on me, and around me. I pray that we all wake up. Thank you.

My husband suffers from severe migraines but refuses to go to the Dr. or the E.R.

Tonight as I type this, he is laying in bed in the dark. A cool compress on his eyes. He just informed me that the washcloth feels like a brick on his eyes.

Before going to church I prayed for him. I went to church and we anointed a prayer cloth in oil and prayed for him. As soon as I got home, I prayed for him, got my Oil of Moses out and anointed him again, and then I placed his prayer cloth on his forehead and prayed once again.

It is now midnight and no relief in sight. He still resists me in going to E.R.

    God please help my husband.....
  • FALSE GENUINE Conversions by Mishael - In Reply on Genesis 3 - 5 years ago
They didn't. God formed Adam from the dust. Later He did surgery on Adam and created Eve from Adams rib bone.

The only created pre-Adam beings were satan and the 1/3 evil-turned angels that were thrown down to earth. At that time they had bodies. Satans body had been changed to a serpent. They co-habituated with descendants of Adam and Giants were born. The Bible calls them inhabitants.

Noah built the Ark and people not on the Ark were DROWNED. The evil angels had no bodies again. But their Invisible demonic spirits were able to Enter into evil sinful people who may or may not have known they were possessed. That's how they get around. They can get into creatures and animals. Example: when Jesus cast them into pigs that leaped off a cliff and died. No bodies again.

The only way to be free from that cycle is to be saved and born again with the Holy Spirit of God living on the inside of you.

That's why so many people are afflicted with illness, sicknesses, depression, mental and emotional afflictions. Drug abuse is a demonic invasion of the spirit of Death. Which can influence the afflicted person to end their life. The Holy Spirit will eject all those spirits in an instant: but the accepting of Jesus has to be genuine. God isn't a quick fix for a demonic problem; like an aspirin for headache.

No one who is born again can call God accursed. No one can call Him Lord.

You must be born again. Believe. Repent of sins past and present. Receive Jesus as Lord. If you get saved and go back into sin as before; you will be worse off than you were before. If you Blaspheme the Holy Spirit, you'll be doomed to hell as before. You can't fake out God. He sees the intent of your heart.

Today is the day - I am pleased to see someone who gets it. many thousands of children are kidnapped every years with most around the satanic sacrificial days. They infiltrate churches and poison families. The Lord told us what to do with them and the lukewarm ignore his command.

Soon they shall find out there is a severe penalty for disobedience as a curse if you will. Christians tolerate openly satanic "churches" who will soon not tolerate them. Thing is church goers are so sure they shall escape those wicked things they tolerated that the Lord hated. The wicked shall surely repay the tolerant church goers for their unfaithfulness.

We are to love OUR enemies, are we to love the enemies of the Lord?

Daniel, this age-old question can find no answers amongst mankind. Simply because for us to correctly answer any question, we must have sufficient knowledge stored in our brains to be able to process that information & give out some answer (whether correctly or not). And since we are 'mere' humans with great limitations, there is no way we can fathom God's eternal Being in our minds simply because we have reached the limits of our knowledge & understanding. All we can ever know in this life, is that God exists, always had & always will and even with this knowledge, we have to confess that we cannot know any more than this. This is why atheists maintain their belief in the non-existence of God: simply because they have tried to figure Him out & since they can't find answers, the belief that there is no God must be the correct answer. We cannot trust our human minds at all on such matters - it's better for us to stick to the knowledge that has been given to us over the ages & work through them only.

Mennonites, like the Amish community, generally refrain from being photographed as they believe that the photograph might be considered a graven image which could also lead to vanity as they might look at it in other ways than for purer reasons. Therefore, no pictures are found in their homes & some select few, also forbid the use of mirrors, for the same reason. Of course, we know the meaning of the First Commandment applied to the Israelites, that they not create any images to represent God to worship it. But this commandment is carried over incorrectly to a personal application. Vanity & pride are spoken of in the Bible as sins, but dealing with it in the mind is more important than representation in a photograph.

Their whole focus on Christian living is based on 'simplicity' without any of the 'modern' paraphernalia that would cause our minds to become distracted from God's intended lifestyle for us. There is merit in a lot of that when we look at the manner of living of many these days with our penchant for material goods & display of our bodies.

The Bible doesn't address that and I think most people know that. The interesting thing about this question is why is it being asked, and does the answer change anything? First, no one knows the answer. Second, even if you knew the answer it shouldn't change anything and if it did, then there's a big problem. Let's say you're invited to go to be in live in eternity with your loved ones in absolute paradise with total unconditional love beyond your comprehension and a level of fun that is high beyond your wildest imagination. Imagine your best day on earth and multiply that by a billion. Then let's say while you're here on earth someone shares an opinion that dogs won't be in heaven, will that then change whether you believe and follow Jesus Christ? Would someone seriously be willing to throw their eternity and salvation away based on someone's unsubstantiated opinion on something? What if your love of your pet was a 10/10 on earth, but in heaven it's considered 1/1,000,000 level of love and that something a million times greater was prepared just for you. Would that be rational? These are just questions. If someone follows Jesus as a Christian they will find the answer out for themselves after this life.

William, as much as we would like to think that our loving faithful pets will also be with us in Heaven, the understanding of God's creative Work, His Designs & Plans & Scripture itself, suggests that just won't happen.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 tells us that even though mankind & animals both return to dust from whence they came, it is only humans whose spirit is preserved that return to God Who gave it (Eccl 12:7). It is true, that all creatures have been given life (breath = spirit) from God, but to mankind, God has given a spirit that transcends anything given to any other creature.

Here are some other verses that lend support to this:

    a. Gen 1:27: we're specially made, created in God's Image unlike animals.

    b. 1 Thes 5:23: man is comprised of spirit, soul & body, unlike animals, & all three parts of the human makeup will be required by God at their specific times.

    c. Mt 6:23: only man can commune with his Creator & has the ability to know, worship & serve Him.

    d. Gen 3:4-6: humans have the power of using free will, discernment & choice (all attributes of God) whereas animals exist by instinct without the power to reason, calculate, effectively communicate, create, culturally develop, etc.

    e. Rom 3:23: only mankind had the ability to sin against his Creator (re: his the special spirit given him). And that life of gross violation to God's Holy Standards & Character, prompted Him to pursue man to the point of offering up of Himself for man's redemption & restoration.

Animals simply don't fall into the same category as God's specific & special Work of creating man: we were created to love Him, serve Him, to enjoy His blessings & to one day return to Him. Why? Because we were specially created for Him to one day join the Heavenly throng in everlasting worship. Unfortunately, animals (& our beloved pets) don't become a part of this in-gathering after their death as they weren't created to this end - Heaven is not filled with beasts but holy beings.

Question : Why are so many college age young adults accepting Evolution in place of Creation ? Bible clearly shows a Young Earth of 6000 yrs from Now to Adam.....in Peter it says ...do Not be Stupid / Ignorant in this One area....The Area of TIME..Total Time is 7000 yrs of This Present Creation with Jesus Ruling the World during the Last 1000 yrs of Time...Yet We dont bother it seems to Study and Show This World Proofs of a Young Earth showing BIBLE is Factual in ALL it Declares...Evolution is pure Atheism and Its King is Satan...

As for the killing of witches. Have you ever encountered one? Has one ever been truthful with you and disclosed what they really do? If you were told the truth, you would find that witches cover bad deeds with foolish spells. A witches deeds can be anything from, breaking in and putting"potions" in your food to sprinkling anthrax in your undergarments.

If a scientist would break down those drops he would find a myriad of poisons. This is just one example of a witch. The Lord refers to it as of the sin of rebellion. The sin of witchcraft is as of the sin of rebellion. That sin of rebellion in the above example would be: That witch that walked through your door did not regard the law as pertaining to them, with that vile of poison, when committed over a long period of time, can kill you. A long and slow death. Of which they watch as ritual, a person dying directly of that deed. Did they know there is a law that regards unlawful illegal entry as breaking and entering, now with poison, is an intent to kill? And how many times was that act committed against an unwitting person? And the higher a witch gets into politics, the more above the law the more the deed is covered by other members of the community, law enforcement, etc. It becomes an object of fascination, which leads to more acts of the same kind, against more unwitting participants.

If you found that your heart attacks were not natural events, but as an act of poisoning what would be your reactions. Or that cancer, leukemia, stroke, lung diseases, crippling "arthritis" because that witch had their way with you. The Lord protects. But witchcraft is of the sin of rebellion. Meaning, defiance. Many have defied the Lord. So, to rephrase it, witchcraft is defiance of all laws, Gods, Mans, and against the unspoken bonds of trust. A child, a family pet, your Mother, Son, etc. Now, if you were watching a loved one dying a torturous death, knowing, would you want to kill? God gives permission.
