    Sorry for that mistake.

    Genesis 2:16

"And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:"

    Genesis 2:17

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

    God Morning:

Take the test in Psalms 15 and let us each see where we stand with the Lord. If our individual standing does not meet the lipmus test found therein, proceed to Colossians 3(1-5) and follow those instructions and pray and retake the test daily. ( Psalms 77:13) Loving God and your neighbor is the lipmus test, and the test is an open book test, which merely says: prove yourself by dividing the word of God,hear a little and there a little, and always remember Psalms 23:1....

    Jesus is Lord and Testator.

    Shalom

    Genesis 1:17 KJV

    (17) And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

God sets His 2 greatest commandments in the firmament of Heaven.in our opened, expanded hearing (HEAR, O Israel..) of the Spirit that comes from there. We are to do what He has set/established in the kingdom of God so that others see His Light shine in the darkness of this earth.

    Mark 12:28-31 KJV

    (28) And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

    (29) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

    (30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

    (31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Thou are not far from the kingdom of God...

    Mark 12:34 KJV

    (34) And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

When we do His commandments, we shall shine as the stars giving His Light upon this dark earth.

    Daniel 12:3 KJV

    (3) And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

The nations shall come to His light/glory that they see arising upon us...

    Isaiah 60:1-3 KJV

    (1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

    (2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

    (3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

The lights (the 2 greatest commandments) in the firmament of the Heaven (the expansion of the hearing of Heaven) are for signs, seasons, days and years.

For days and years..they will prolong our days upon this earth.

Deuteronomy 6:2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

For length of days and long life (literally, years of life) the doing of His commandments do add unto us.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

    (2) For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

They shall multiply our daysas the days of Heaven upon the earth:

    Deuteronomy 11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

The doing of His commandments shall give us fruitful seasons

    Leviticus 26:3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

    (4) Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

They are for signs.you shall bind them for a sign upon your handremembering to do them always.

Deuteronomy 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

In doing so, we shall shine as the stars turning many to His righteousness.

We shall be His many infallible signs to this dark world that Jesus is truly alive as we live.

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

    Hi Aidan,

Can you show me 7 years somewhere in the New Testament. I see 3 1/2 years in Revelation. Am I missing something on that? You are correct. 70 weeks were fulfilled. that is how I see it. The word AFTER in verse 26 puts Jesus' death right int he middle of the 70th week in verse 27 because 7 weeks were already fulfilled before the mentioning of the next 62 weeks.

I believe a double fulfillment of the time of jacob's trouble is coming but we are the ones already beginning to be persecuted. There are three things Biblically we are persecuted "because of".

    1. For MY NAME'S SAKE. You have to be a follower of Jesus.

    2. For godliness sake. The new US Embassy in Jerusalem just blessed the gay pride over there.

    3. For my word's sake. They follow the modern Sanhedrin 70 just like they followed the oral law of the 70 elders instead of Moses most of the time throughout old testament history. Modern Judaism is Talmudic and kabbalah.

I don't see how a natural nation fits what Jesus said was true Biblical persecution nor does the modern state fit any of it. Most pre-trib teachers do what I call "Newspaper Eschatology" but when you do it and bring stuff like this up, they ignore you and act like what you are saying is not true. Chris, when you tell them there is more natural Jewish blood in Palestine than in Israel, they don't know what to say but two DNA tests done by two different Jewish DNA scientists have proven this over the last 20 years. They plan on doing a study in Iran. That is a whole other subject that isn't going to be talked about by Perry Stone, John Hagee and others who want to ignore the 16-legged, 5-eyed pink elephant in the room. If it doesn't fit their theology, they won't talk about it nor do they want their followers to learn about it. They purposely keep black Jews from Ethiopia and Etrithea from moving into Israel. I can go on and on. This stuff is written in their own newspapers like Hareetz, Jerusalem Post, etc. A good example of a famous pre-trib teacher that did this was Jack Van IMpe who I watched blindly for years. He always quoted what he wanted to quote out of those two newspapers but when I started seeing what else they said in their own newspapers I came to realize Van IMpe didn't want his audience to know the things he didn't want them to know because it would have created problems for his ministry.

    you:

Then Mt 24:15: "the abomination of desolation, spoken by Daniel" arises. Is it referencing Dan 12:11 or Dan 9:27, or both? You mentioned that Dan 9:27 applied to Jesus Who "causes the sacrifices to cease, etc.", so the mention of the 'abomination of desolation' in Mt 24:15 becomes intriguing.

    Me:

Yes, abominations is plural in Daniel 9:27, not singular. Can't use that one and stay intellectually honest. I don't have all the answers. I just try to never add or take away from the word of God. And there is that nasty "S" in the original manuscripts in Daniel 9:27.

What do you think of the eagle symbol the Roman Army had? Could that be the where you see the eagles gather? We take it as literal eagles. But Jesus is going to incinerate the earth which wold cleanse everything. Just a thought I just thought of so as Inigo Montoya in the Princess Bride movie once said to Vizzini, "I don't know your thinkum is what your thinkum is" or something like that. LOL.

    YOU:

Those in Judea are to 'flee to the mountains, etc.' ( Mt 24:16-20): reference to the Jews. And after this, there will be Great Tribulation ( Mt 24:11). Of course, this Tribulation hasn't happened yet, unless the rest of us missed it altogether. So all these show me that Jesus was applying His prophecies specifically to Israel, with the broader implications to the rest of us."

Me: Fulfilled in 70 AD with signs as historically written of outside of the Bible. ALL the Christians in Jerusalem escaped when the Roman Army made its last push. 1.1 million unsaved Jews stayed in Jerusalem and were slaughtered, and 90,000 were sold into slavery, some mothers were eating their children to feed their other children. About 2 million were killed leading up to and including this final battle. So about 2/3rds of the Jewish population worldwide was wiped out. Many scholars believe this was the time of Jacob's trouble because percentage-wise way more Jews were killed than the Holocaust and in a much much worse way.

Good Morning Chris. WE finally got a much-needed all night shower up here in the north.

I was jsut saying that it would be a day late and a dollar short if the antichrist has already risen to power for an unsaved Jewish person to read what has already been mostly fulfilled in Matthew 24. Remember there are three different greek words in Matthew 24 for the word WORLD. The word oikenume means Roman Empire so the apostles did preach the gospel to the entire Roman Empire by 70 AD. That has been fulfilled. But like I said, I believe there is a double fulfillment with many things in this chapter that we in our time will experience, one of those being preaching the gospel to the whole world.

I have evangelized many of Jew, and they hate the New Testament. They call the Old Testament, the ONLY Testament. I hit them with "Then why does the Bible Numerics phenomenon underlie the entire text of the New Testament which proves God's authorship?" I don't get an answer. Try that some time when trying to reach them whether converted Khazar jews from southern russia from 800 AD that are the ones who mostly live in Israel today or the more natural Jews, most living in other countries. Pre-trib teachers don't like mentioning that one to their followers.

get back to you on the other thing you said.

LORD is the interpretation of The Tetragramaton YHWH Unpronounceable in Hebrew, meaning; did exist, exists and will exist. KJV interprets YHWH as LORD.all capitolized. So my question is; Who has made the LORD. Help!

Also, after you read what I sent earlier: you need to remove anything from your home that could be considered an idol. The first thing the Holy Spirit did WITH me was to get rid of anything I had that was occult (because that is what I was delivered from).

Some had to be burned so no one else would read the books. Acts 19:19.

Most likely you'll do a walk through in your home and He will show you what has to go. Fire is dangerous & illegal, so I tell people to fill a box and purchase a can of paint and pour it over books, etc. You will feel Him helping you to be free from spirits of confusion. See... Satan is the author of confusion. That was his doorway into your mind.

I'll write again later. May God bless you with Mercy and Grace.

True, many who are 'saved & baptized' show no evidence of it except by an appearance on Sunday. But lest we fall into sin, we are not called to judge others in their behaviour, rather to judge ourselves in the matter of our faith & Christian walk ( Mt 7:1,2,24; Romans 14). No one can live in sin (i.e. make sin their way of life) & still get to Heaven. A life of sin proves that there is no regard for Jesus' Sacrifice & either they are kidding themselves or have a warped view of the Word if they believe that Heaven is their hope. Read 1 John 3 where the message is about those with God's Seed in them (the Holy Spirit) cannot sin (v 9), but in the flesh sin can occur but is dealt with & we are forgiven. Those who disregard sin & live careless lives believing that being saved means that they are secure in spite of anything they do, are in grave error.

I've kept this response lengthy, hoping to give you a firm basis on which to build your knowledge & faith. Keep your eyes affixed on your Saviour - in Him is joy & victory.
  • Chris - In Reply - 5 years ago
    Page 2.

Regards to dealing with sin: purpose in your heart to hate that which keeps you lukewarm & estranged, repent & seek daily strength to gain victory over sin & the Enemy that fosters it.

Briefly: Salvation. Eph 2:8-10. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Few things in operation here: 1. it is only by God's Grace (i.e. His calling & drawing you to Himself) that you are where you are; 2. your salvation is wholly faith dependent (i.e. your trust in God that Jesus is the only Way to be forgiven & accepted); 3. and to make all this so special, is that the 'whole deal' is God's Gift to you (i.e. both His Grace & your Faith are gifts from God to someone specially selected to be His child). You could never earn what He has given - Man has tried over the eons through religion & self-effort, but to no avail since God's salvation can only be designed & given God's Way. Not even water baptism, partaking at the Lord's Table or any good works can help to secure that salvation: salvation is all of Grace through faith alone. Of course, spiritual works do follow a spiritual salvation but that comes from the indwelling Spirit of God.
  • Chris - In Reply - 5 years ago
    Page 1.

Confused: I was in a slightly similar situation to yours, in that I too grew up in a Church but went away from the Lord completely: my sin knew no bounds. I was then saved by the Holy Spirit many years later in the late '70s, (by that I mean, no one shared the Gospel with me or made me recite a prayer of repentance, or guided me for my next steps, etc.). I had to go it alone: had to seek out a Church, listened to various messages (didn't have internet or much by way of Christian tapes (cassette variety), etc.) & try to put together all that was coming to me into a sound, meaningful, God-intended manner, just as you are trying to do now.

I was all over the place in my belief as to what took place (which in itself was quite dramatic, when one encounters the Spirit of God descend upon you in convicting power). My only answer from the Lord in all my personal struggles was: "attend ONLY to My Word". I had never read the Bible at all, except for the Gospels & the usual Bible stories children read, but after some years as a Christian, the Lord put it on my heart to study His Word. Giving up work for six months, I got down to it & learned much. Church teaching of course was necessary & helpful, but ultimately it was (and is) God's Word that spoke & interpreted itself to my heart.

Reading your testimony, I picked up on a lot of self-effort from you (trying to pray, trying remove sin). That might be a worthy desire to get closer to God, but the old Christian adage: "Let go & Let God" is applicable. This is not to say, that you remain stagnant & motionless in your faith, but when you are focussed on knowing God's Mind on matters, then in the study of His Word & prayer, God sees your sincerity & love, & His Spirit will teach you accordingly. In regard to prayer, remember prayer is simply talking to God; no need for special words or being in a special state of mind, just talk to the One Who hears the cry of your heart rather than the words.

First I want to tell you that just now, Jesus showed me you are much beloved. I thought of John 4, about his meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well. He is meek and humble of heart. He had this conversation (you read it too) and he gently dealt with her about her sin. He didn't rail on her. Just simply stated what she already knew. She was so overjoyed she ran to town and told friends, Come see a Man who told me all things! The whole town gets saved. The disciples tried to get him to eat & take a nap, but nothing doing. That's what he is Like.

I met Him; face to face, for seconds. You met him too. Never doubt what you know to be true. The wonderful part is that The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Jesus wants you to be sure of your salvation and of what the Holy Spirits ministry is...for you. You have expressed some confusion and I will address that. In your Bible read John 3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus about being born again. You should see the links to press on to read those chapters on here now.

You can pray this prayer to be sure. "I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. That Jesus was born by Mary, a Virgin. I believe that Jesus lived a perfect sinless life on earth. I believe he was crucified for the sins of the whole world, throughout all time. On the 3rd Day, God raised Jesus from the dead. Where He ever lives to make intercession for all Saints."

    John 3:18, 6

Acts 2:38 Hold up your arms and say: I receive the Promise of the Holy Spirit. I am born again.

Acts 2:1. You've been quickened and your spirit is alive to the Holy Spirit, and you are baptized.

How do you know that Jesus and the Holy Spirit just came into your life?

Because God promised it. God never Lies and never changes His mind. "I change not".

The Holy Spirit will help you understand your Bible. He's your Teacher. Your Helper. Your Comforter; He tells us when we are wrong: convicts us in the heart. He speaks through the heart.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
