    1 Peter Chapter 1

Jesus is the mediator between our Heavenly father and humanity 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 peter 1:3

Adams sin brought a curse upon all humanity. Sin and death or( a separation from God and humanity.) Jesus death was a sacrifice for us all to be reconciled back to the father

    1 Peter 1:18 Romans 5:19

Jesus was baptized by his cousin John the baptist Luke 3:21,22

Jesus received the Infilling of the Holy Spirit (Jesus did what was pleasing to his father)

Jesus human nature was transformed and his divine nature allowed him to be in harmony

with our heavenly father so that he would to be victorious over the weaknesses of the

    human flesh. 1 peter 1:16

Our hope is in the victory that Jesus demonstrated to us( Jesus is our example )

We can be reconciled back to God our father if we submit our minds over to him, just

as Jesus submitted his mind over to the father

According to your faith, you can submit your human weaknesses over to our Heavenly Father and Jesus, whose Divine Power is greater than our human weaknesses. 1 peter 1: 21, 23

You can obtain salvation according to the word of God.

Emma, I wish you could move in with one of your kids or a nursing home. BUT, if not I would buy protection. I would suggest a 410 shotgun. They don't kick much and will do enough damage that they will run. Nothing wrong in protecting yourself. Go to a firing range to try it out.

    Praise the Lord,

The five smooth stones are part of a Rock ( 1 Corinthians 10:4) i.e. Jesus Christ . So Jesus Christ is nothing but word of God ( John 1:1 & 14). Matthew 21:44 Its a weapon and Lord has given us spiritual weapon to fight against all demonic powers against us. They are 1. Faith : Hebrew 11:1,6 Hebrews 12:2, Galatians 5:22(F.O.S), 1 Corinthians 12:9(G.O.S) Ephesians 6:16(A.O.G), Matthew 17:20 2.Word of God: John 1:1, Psalms 107:20, Isaiah 55:11, Hebrews 4:12 3. Prayer : Jeremiah 33:3, Matthew 17:21 4. Anointing : Isaiah 10:27, 5. Obedience : 1 Samuel 15:22. If we have this five spiritual smooth stones which formed from Jesus , we can overcome this world. ( 1 John 5:4). David had faith in the Lord and put it into action, also had the special horn anointing to break all the yolks by obeying to the voice of the God. David was a man of prayer. Big things comes in small packages. Victory is ours.

Robert, that was a lot of work you put in, so my thanks. But I'll keep my comments to the point.

Re: the Fig Tree. I agree with you that in these portions ( Mt 24 & Lk 21) the Fig tree is not Israel but used as part of Jesus' illustration to reveal the signs pointing to His second coming, though I don't see those devastations happening 'all at the same time'. If one had to consider the rate of time between the two, I would think that a fig tree in its season, would bud & fruit far quicker than the fulfilling of all those occurrences prior to His Coming. So I just accept it as an illustration rather than to apply a time rate to it. So "Behold the fig tree, and all the trees": I understand the "all the trees" as Jesus' emphasis as to the abundance of evidence that 'summer is nigh' = His Coming.

And of course "generation" ( Mt 24:34) can't apply to only those living at that time, but to the 'Jewish people' who experienced the start of their troubles from AD 70 (v 2) & onwards. His disciples must have thought at the time, that Emperor Titus' invasion was about to fulfil Jesus' discourse, but of course, it was only the start of their troubles, with much worse to come, climaxing in the future.

Re: those who are "taken away" ( Mt 24:39-41). If those who are 'taken away' are those who receive the beast's mark, then to where are they taken? Is it to their death, to some other location awaiting sentence or with mark removed, now comprising the 'nations' after the Tribulation? ( Rev 20:3,8; 21:24)? We understand that many will die during the Tribulation period & the Lord Himself will destroy the beast, the false prophet & the armies that come against Him ( Rev 19:19-21), but can we assume that all human life will perish at this time, or will there be some that remain to re-populate the Earth (& noted what you suggested in this regard)? So, I'm unsure whether I've adequately responded to your pages of comments, but wanted to condense it all to one page.

    Part 2:

We would still be plunged into the ditch. It means that no matter how hard we try to clean ourselves or wash what we do in our lives, we are still dirty and have no ability to remove every sin in our lives that's why we need the saving grace that Jesus provides. Only Jesus can deliver you from the power of addiction/shame/guilt/pain/suffering. His name is a strong tower that everyone can run into. He is so powerful that's why you see people change lives when they run to Him because He is someone who is an absolute one that we can rely on. You will not rely your life or lean on to something that is not strong enough that you will lose yourself in the process. Don't trust me but you can trust Jesus!

    Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I lift up this person to you in your mighty name. Let Flossy experience your unconditional love full with joy and peace in this person's heart. Lord touch the heart of this person so that she will understand that love is not something to be earned but freely given by You. Father let this person experience an encounter with You to experience the true living GOD and not the one that people placed in their heads, the god that is not real or limited but the Jesus who has the power to save even the most wicked of souls. LORD I repent in this person's behalf on what this person did to you and plead the blood of Jesus all over this person. And right now every inch of demonic plans and activities I break them in Jesus name! Every path of addiction and curses laid upon this person be broken in Jesus name! Every spirit of depression/loneliness Be gone in to this person's life in Jesus name. Every works of the devil into this person's life be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus. Holy Ghost fire be into this person's life in Jesus name! Let her experience healing and every spirit of hindrance/bondages be broken in Jesus name! Father may this person found the way in you. In Jesus name. Amen!

    Dear Flossy,

I might not understand what you are undergoing clearly in your life but when I was scrolling down some of the prayer requests in here, yours caught my eye. I want to say to you that what you are going through is not the end of it all. Everyone becomes depressed as a way of attack from the enemy. What the LORD wants for your life is to set you free! In the bible it says who the Son sets free is free indeed in John 8:36. Also the bible is clear with the instruction of those who call upon the name of the LORD will be saved! You are experiencing trouble on trusting on GOD because of the way you were raised in your home. For people who were raised in performance based house tends to do everything to earn the love of those who they want to experience love as well. We cannot blame the situation or the past for something that happened. What you can do is to start asking GOD for strength to forgive those people too. It is also said that Jesus died for all of our sins so that we can be forgiven and experience a life of eternity with Him. When we ask for forgiveness from Jesus, we can be confident to ask for the blood of Jesus to cover us as well thus cleansing us completely from everything that we had done including shame or any condemnation on our lives. No one comes to GOD except GOD came first to us, that's why we love GOD because He first loved us. No one can demonstrate how to love the right way unless someone shows it to them. It's applicable to everyone especially you! It's free that's why you can get it! If everyone needs to earn the love of GOD then all of us are dead before Him. No one is worthy to face Him and "NO ONE" can match the love that the Father needs because He is love already.

If there is a way for us to be saved apart from GOD then He is not a god at all. I would like to encourage you to read Job 9:25-31 if you can. It says in verse 30 that even if we wash ourselves with soap and clean our hands in verse 31 still we would be plunged

I pray that you will have a deep and personal relationship with Jesus. He gave His life to give us eternal life. He suffered for our sins so that we are forgiven. He stands at the door and knocks, waiting patiently for us to let Him into our hearts. We simply need to accept Him and let him take the burden of our sins and know that He is our Lord and Saviour who will wash away our sins and help us to walk with Him every day.

It seems you were correct as i did not leave everything at the foot of the cross, unconfessed sin, hate for a certain person that i had trusted. I did not want to let go of it and it was eating away, I have repented of it and I do feel better but still struggle with self condemnation, but i found a scripture in 1st John If our heart condemns us God is greater than our heart. Does that mean that the lord knows my heart and even though i condemn myself he still loves me and knows i want to live for him? I really could use some help with this.

Dan. 9:24, 25 and 26a and 27a and 27b is all about the Messiah Jesus.

Dan. 26b and 27c is Titus and the roman army. YOu can say that 27c is both Jesus and Titus because God always used Israel's enemies to punish them and Jesus pronounced that punishment on the nonbelievers. Hope this helps break it down for you.

Dan 9:26a And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:

Dan 9:26b and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

B= General/Prince Titus who led the armies of Rome to destroy Jerusalem in 70 AD. He became a prince overnight when his dad Vespasian became Caesar of Rome. All historical. Has nothing to do with a future antichrist.
