Hello, yes, I believe the whole Bible applies. I've heard people claim that Jesus fulfilling the law is abolishing the law, that it no longer applies whatsoever. Jesus already said that is wrong in the exact same verse of Matthew 5:17. He said he was not abolishing the law. So, I believe Jesus over what random people say. Fulfilling the law was through his death to pay for our sins, so we have grace as long as we follow Jesus- this is an active pursuit though. But that doesn't mean the law is gone. Keep in mind that Israelites has more than just moral law, but civil law, and ceremonial law. We don't need to follow the Israelite specific laws, just moral law. For example, 'do not kill'. Are some claiming that it's now just fine to kill your neighbor because Jesus fulfilled the law? That would be a very difficult argument for one to make that it's totally good to kill, when the Bible clearly says the opposite.

Jesus already said what happens to people who are inactive, who do nothing, who blaspheme, who follow the world, who use grace as an excuse to sin as much as possible Matthew 7:21-23. Jesus says if you love him, then keep his commandments. John 14:15. If you don't keep them, you don't love him. If you don't love him and don't follow him, is it likely you'll be invited to spend eternity with him in heaven? Jesus warned his followers repeatedly through parables that most people will go to hell. It's interesting how some Christians are trying to claim sin is okay, that it doesn't matter and that it's wrong to say it's wrong. Satan is the great deceiver and even works within the community of believers to spread his lies. It's clear what Jesus already said, so I'm going to believe and follow him and his words, not the words of man.

James 2 and Romans 6 explain this.

Note that this is my belief through years of Bible study and prayer and you will have other Christians claim otherwise. I already know all their arguments and find them unbiblical. God bless...

Jesus loves children! Remember how he blessed them when the disciples wanted to turn them away. Let's be like Jesus. We don't have any record of how Jesus' influence affected those children, just like we don't know how we will influence the children we love today. But no doubt it can only be good! Blessings to you and your family.

    Extend the Hand of Christ

In this chapter we see Amos morns for Israel as they believed their wealth and religion made them secure while suppressing and victimizing the poor. In making application we see that many today follow in the same path of preaching prosperity while ignoring and suppressing the poor. Today our focus should be on Ministry or Service to restore the poor, needy, and sin sick showing them the way to a better life is Jesus-Christ. How about you? Do you Restore the needy or are you too busy to help others who find themselves in sins pit? Let us learn from our text today and the warning of Amos to extend the hand of Christ who find themselves in a pit due to their sin.

I would take it to mean that if you show mercy to others, you will receive mercy from the Lord.

Just as those who want forgiveness from the Savior, must forgive those that have trespassed against them!

Don't forget, we are to strive to be Christ-like; mercy and forgiveness are attributes of Jesus Christ.

The Bible has not changed. What God did on the Day of Pentecost He is still doing today. God is still pouring out His Spirit on hungry souls that desire Him to fill them. The Nine Gifts of the Spirit are in operation in the church. There is still the fivefold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. God is still healing and delivering people. Signs and wonders are still in operation today. It is easy for people to believe in the Wright Brothers and their ability to fly. But it is hard for people to believe Jesus. We must proceed with caution when it comes to God; however, we can believe in everything that is natural without question. Man 's knowledge has brought us many great inventions, but man's limited, finite knowledge still cannot heal a broken heart or save a soul. I used caution in this pandemic. I use caution when I am driving. I use caution when I am approached by people who might do me some harm. I use caution when I listen to political candidates. But I do not use caution when I apply the Word of God: I use faith. I could share some miraculous testimonies where God has wrought miracles not only in my life; but in the lives of other believers. One thing I cannot change is the way someone else thinks; I can only help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world. I have witnessed and experienced things: the miracle of salvation where people who want more out of life turned to God; and He, not I, poured out His Spirit upon them. Christ went to the Cross for the whole world. I am so grateful to have been a receipient of His love. I did not find Christ; He found me. I believe in miracles; not because the Bible is full of them; I believe in miracles; because I have seen them with my own eyes. I have experienced the miraculous power of the HolyGhost change my life. I know God is still working miracles. The angels in heaven rejoice when one sinner repents. That is an awesome miracle to me.

What is the difference in the spiritual gifts we see in chapter 12 of the book of Roman's and chapter 12 of the book of 1 Corinthians. Is correct to say there are 15 spiritual gifts and that each one of us is gifted in one of these areas?

Greetings Peter And my god richly bless you! - Thank for YOUR INTELLIGENT reply!

I will try to address your quires as best I can - possibly not all in one email - If I do manage to - Well and good!

Firstly what do I think God would say to a person asking God "Do you hear my prayer?" I think he would have said - "Of course I hear your pray Peter! My Holy spirit dwells within you! I hear your every word speak, in prayer or ingest - Your every thought, and in fact, I know exactly how many breaths you have taken , and exactly how many you have left.

Do not think that you were stupid asking that question! - Even David in the many Psalms he wrote kept crying out "Hear my cry oh Father, hear my cry oh Lord. Even though the Lord had done many things for him,

I believe that the scripture "where two or more are gathered etc" is related to the prayer of agreement in the verse above

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

I'm am not a bible teacher by any means But - I am sure this means that there is more power for God to act when two or more UNITE IN prayer As in -

    Deuteronomy 32:30

How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

You see there is power in numbers - when people get together pray and do anything in the name of the Lord

    But!

Even when you are alone God still hears you - Did he not enter you life when you asked for salvation?

    Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive, and you shall have them

Well Mate! I will leave it there for now and work through your questions slowly - you will hear from me tomorrow -

Gods blessings to you and your family

By the way - Where do you live?

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law ( Gal. 3:13 NASB).

The apostle Paul said the Law was added only until Christ comes:

Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressionsuntil the seed should come to whom the promise had been made ( Gal. 3:19 NASB).

Paul goes on to say the Law was our "tutor to lead us to Christ"; now that we are justified in Christ, we are no longer under the Law:

But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor ( Gal. 3:23-25 NASB).

While the moral principles expressed in the Ten Commandments are reaffirmed in the New Testament, the command to observe the Sabbath is the only commandment not repeated. There is no New Testament command for believers to set aside the Sabbath as a day of worship. Exodus 31:13 says the Sabbath was a "sign between God and Israel," not God and the church.

The first Christians were, of course, Jews, and when Gentiles began to enter the church, some Jewish Christians (Judaizers) tried to force new Gentile believers to follow the Law and observe the Sabbath (among other things). It became such a problem that Paul warned that no believer was to judge another believer with regard to the Sabbath:

Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ ( Col. 2:16-17 NASB).

A shadow is only an image cast by an object which represents its form. Paul said the Sabbath was a "mere shadow" that pointed to Christ. Once a person finds Christ, he or she no longer needs to follow the shadow.

I hope this helps, God bless you.

Christians have never worshipped on the seventh day. Christians have worshipped on the first day of the week since the church was born on the first day of the week at Pentecost and Peter preached the first sermon on a Sunday. After that first Sunday, those same Christians continued to meet and worship regularly on the first day of the week ( Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2). Sunday worship can be historically traced in unbroken succession all the way back to the first century to Jesus' disciples in Jerusalem meeting on the first day of the week. For two thousand years, Christians have faithfully followed the New Testament pattern given by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and practiced by the apostles, the first Christians, and the early church.

Some believe that Constantine and the Roman Catholic Church changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday, but the church had been worshipping on the first day of the week hundreds of years before Constantine was born and before the Church of Rome ever existed. Constantine only declared officially in the fourth century what the church had been doing since the first century. There was no change in the day of worship for Christians because Christians had never worshipped on the seventh day. Christians had worshipped on the first day of the week since Pentecost in Acts chapter 2.

Believers are not under the Law. The requirements of the Law were met in Christ ( Matt. 5:17). Believers are released from the Law, believers are dead to the Law, and believers are redeemed from the Law ( Rom. 6:14; 7:6, 9; Gal. 3:13):

You are not under law but under grace ( Rom. 6:14 NASB).

But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound ( Rom. 7:6 NASB).

For apart from the Law sin is dead. I was once alive apart from the Law; but when the commandment came, sin became alive and I died; and this commandment, which was to result in life, proved to result in death for me ( Rom. 7:8b-10 NASB).

i do not want to add even one word to the Bible; or take one word that is in it away: but I do respond to things that i think I know about and I do make mistakes in typing; and when I said 3 on my last message; I meant 2 as most people would be aware of and so I usually may not repond to obvious errors; and of course, I did respond to an evolutionist remark as I did not agree with that particular remark and ideas as I know that the Bible tells it differently and that the Bible tells the truth. The Bible also says we are born with a mind and the brain does not create the mind as evolutiom believes. They like a lot of other people also don't realize that we only have a tiny mind when we are born and we must develop it and once we are stimulated with enough stimulations to be associated into one thought; you are ready for development and as long as the stimulations are right; you will have a right mind.

Sean, have you admitted that you've sinned and desire to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

After the new birth begins, the Holy Spirit will be in your life to help you pray, get free from things that hold you back; read a Bible and understand it. Start in 1, 2, 3, John in the back of the Bible (in front of Revelation).

If you have YouTube you can watch some ministry programs by Charles Stanley. If you have any fears or questions, you're person to run to is Holy Spirit. He will never leave you or forsake you (quit on you). He will give you strength. Confess as you feel the need and you'll be free of it forever.

Ask Holy Spirit to help you find a church nearby.

I heard about 2 hrs about those scriptures. The detective in me wanted to know where this other person found them. I had never heard this before.

It is just connecting all the center column referencing to other scriptures. They point to other references, that in turn point to others. It's a personal quest that takes time and prayer with Holy Spirit. I'm not a scholar and I don't know Hebrew word interpretation. The thing that interested me was all the conflict on the age of the earth. Not in here, but in what sciences say.

Today I realized that it's not In my calling. I've been sheltering past few months. I need to leave this and do what I know to be doing. I do not mean to cause conflict.

Jack, as you know, in Psalm 111:9, the word 'Reverend' is given as a descriptive word for God. The word is taken from the verb, to revere. And used in its purest sense, that word can only be a applied to a deity, as some pantheists apply it to worshipping their god & of course, as Christians, to worshipping our God. Some also take umbrage to the word 'awesome' as it is used so liberally these days. As they say, that the word is to be applied to God only, as His people can only view Him in awe & wonder to His Holiness & Glory & not to be used to described another person or object.

So when we read of Reverend So & So, it is sadly a title given to one who has qualified through biblical studies or in such a position in the Church that demands such a title. It is not used in the NT Church & yet the use of the word 'bishop' in Phil 1:1, 1 Tim 3:1, Tit 1:7, etc., is simply the English form of the Greek, Episkapos, commonly used generally for an elder, pastor or overseer of the Church. However, it has now become more of a high-ranking Church official who governs a large number of Churches.

Thank you for referring me to Job, I loved that chapter. I always thought that job was the man who got sick and when his friends sort of mocked God by saying things to Job; jpb would not against God and in this chapter God says so many things that he knows of course is true whule at the same time He asks Job so much like for example when I prayed years ago " father in heaven i know that when 3 people are gather in your name, you will hear their prayer but i am only one; and have noone to pray with and so i don't if you can hear my prayer???? do you know what he said to me. what would ypu say as I did say that you sound like an intelligent man and you were from Australia. and I wanted to ask you about "the ape people who remains they found in Australia and they were even a couple of millon years older than cave men. Do u know anything about them; and what answer did you have for my first question> What do you mean you didn't know? and after that I changed or he changed me; and i won't tell you or anyone what else he said. It is too frightfull; and i don't think anyone will believe me and i am afraid that they will. would you believe a mental patient? I don't think that i would believe them all without God; and when I consider that; i don't know what i would do? Let me know abput those ape people.

Jack in Psalms 111:9 He (Lord) sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

per my understanding only the Lord is to be called reverend.

It comes from this root word: REVE'RE, verb transitive [Latin revereor; re and vereor, to fear.]

To regard with fear mingled with respect and affection; to venerate; to reverence; to honor in estimation.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

    >If Adam and Eve were the first two humans on earth, where did Cain find a wife?

The Bible already answered that. The land of Nod. Either Adam and Eve's children and grand children populated in that area or God may have created more people after Adam and Eve. But to assume that just because something is unspoken that there's automatically contradictions or multiple accounts sounds like a false assumption to me. For instance the Bible is a limited book to only so many pages. There's no room to document every single detail of everyone's life. For instance there's ages of Jesus' life that we don't have any information on, and it never said once that he went to the bathroom or took a shower. Does that automatically mean he didn't or that since the Bible omits it that it's untrue? No, that would be a false assumption.

Jews were God's chosen people which is why its distiguished from others. I don't understand why you think that discredits the book of Genesis.

    >Why do we have different races on the planet after 6000 years of inter-breeding? A change in the location of a person does not make him a different race!

Why would you assume there's 6000 years of interbreeding? Have you ever read about the Tower of Babel? It says different languages were created and they were dispersed throughout the world. It seems likely to me that God also made different races/cultures and the Bible just doesn't mention it. So, Africans to Africa, Chinese to China, Indians to India, Russians to Russia, etc. To me that is most likely and just because it's not mentioned doesn't mean that the book of Genesis is flawed or has multiple accounts or contradicts itself. I think it's unlikely that 8 people on Noah's Ark covered all the variety of races and cultures and were separated geographically too. This happened post-flood. That's all I will answer at this time. God bless.
