Mike, the answer to your question would be no. Getting a vaccine is not the same as taking the mark of the beast. If the person who's giving the vaccine tells you that you need to make yourself an image of the beast and worship it, I would not take the vaccine. Getting a vaccine is not the unpardonable sin as Bob mentions and gives an excellent description of. Please know that a believer who has been born of God's Spirit will never take that mark anyways. And as far as forcing the vaccine on everyone, that goes against people's constitutional rights as American citizens. There would have to be some major changes in order to force a vaccine on everyone. You have nothing to worry about if you are in Christ and Christ is in you!

Of course Jesus would not take the Mark of the Beast. He warned us not to, in his Word. That taking it, would separate us from Him, and doom us to hell.

3. Maybe I misunderstood what Gen 2:9, Songs 2, Revelation 12:9, Lk 10:18, Isa 14, Ez 28:13, 17, Eze 31. The images presented in these verses are of the devil being banished to the earth and more specifically the Garden of Eden. The imagery of Ezk 31 compares the Tree of KGE with Satan. But let me change my position a little. Perhaps, as you pointed out, the Tree was a real tree. However, it represented Satan's corruption. My thinking is the Tree represented Satan's Kingdom, his realm, where he ruled with the other fallen Angels. I am expanding on the imagery. Trees in the Bible are used, as I previously mentioned, to connote empires, governments, great leaders. Because of the nature of the 2 Trees in the Garden, I think the same applies. I think Songs 2 reflects what happened in Eden.

I disagree that anyone or anything can interfere with God's Plan. He is God and His Will stands. You say Satan successfully ruined God's perfect creation, but I don't see that in the Bible. Just the opposite. What can separate us from God? Nothing, Rom 8:35f. Our confidence is that nothing can ruin God's Plan. If a created, being can ruin what God does, we are in big trouble, Dan 4:35, Isa 14:24-27, 2 Chron 20:6 Isa 43:13, "Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. Matthew 5:38-42 is the correct understanding of revenge and this is important. Jesus said in Matthew 5:38 you have heard about eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth?

That's found in Exodus 21:24. This law was actually given for restraint. In other words you are only allowed by law that if the man injures your eye, you can only injure his eye, because the desire was that if you injure my eye, you die!

Hi Shannon, I believe that you have thirst for Truth. Perhaps my answer will trigger more questions than answers but this is a healthy sign actually. Answering Gen 1:27. This is a very common mistake that people make that they think that the creation in Eve in Chapter 2 happening outside of the original 6 days of creation. But in reality if you notice there is a pattern that God is working with. 1st day is corresponding to the 4th day, 5th day is furtherance of 2nd day and the 3rd day is further improved on in 6th day. It would be safe to say that each of these corresponding days match each other with relevant creation. For example God created light in the first day and then made sources of light.

Same way Chapter 2 is actually the partial details of 3rd and 6th day. Gen 1:27 nowhere says how did God create them i.e out of dust, plants, or magic. Then Gen 2:7 then clarifies how did God created the man and women mentioned in Gen 1:27. Genesis Chapter 2 is actually details of creation of 6th day and not outside the original creation.

The legend of Lilith is actually part of Plan of prince of the air. He always introduces confusion and alternative stance to confuse. That is why Word of God titles him as father of lies and confusion. Paul clearly says that our fight is not of blood and flesh in Eph. 6:12. This confusion is part of the battle.

Thank you so much for taking time to put all that together. That is a whole lot to chew on, and I did read it all. First, I want to make myself clear. I never said that Matthew was written only for Jews. I said Matthew wrote his gospel to the Jews. And yes, I agree that the entire bible is written to learn from. It's all God's word. I would not dare discard any of the books, as I find value in every book. I just wanted to clarify that. I don't want people thinking that I am saying that certain parts of the bible are not important. People should hold the entire bible dear to their hearts.

I think a lot of misunderstanding of the prophecies of the last days is based upon combining Luke's account with Matthew's and Mark's account as if they are the same message. But they're not. It sounds like you spent a whole lot of time (years maybe?) on just the rapture alone. I would have to assume that there are some who once believed in a post-trib and have changed their minds after spending years in careful study alike? I definitely appreciate your response and the time you put into it. However, I am still Pre-Trib.

I do have a couple questions if you don't mind. How are you 100% certain that Paul wrote the book of Hebrews? And when Jesus said "This generation shall not pass until all these things be fulfilled," do you take that word generation as being applied to a number of years, or a race of people? You've shared some Greek words, and I appeciate that. Do you read Greek?

I would say that this is after the rapture of the church because I believe in a Pre-Tribulation rapture. The miracles being performed in Verse 14 are being performed by the false prophet in order to deceive those who are on the earth at that time. You have to keep in mind that these people are not saved. They were told not to take the mark of the beast. There were two witnesses warning the people, there were 144,000 Jews who were evangelizing, and there was an angel flying around in mid-heaven for 3-1/2 years warning people not to be deceived into taking the mark. So now they are stuck with a choice, they either heed to the warning to receive Christ and not take the mark, or take the mark, which would forfeit any chance of salvation. But those miracles are definitely going to deceive many at that time. It won't be the church. During this time, I see no mention of the church being on the earth, so I have to believe that we have already been raptured. I'm probably going to be criticized for this belief, but that's my understanding.

My wife and I, from the very beginning of our marriage, 32 years ago, made the Lord the foundation of our marriage. We have not been difficulty free all these years and what compounds our lives is; my wife has a twin sister and she is not a believer. She has tried at times to come between my wife and I however, my wife is a strong Christian woman that put her sister in her place! My definition of "family is; you, your spouse, and your children. Everyone else is "extra!" My wife and I are very happy. We love Jesus, we attend church regularly, we love each other, and we have a solid marriage thanks to the Holy Spirit. None of my wife's family go to church nor do any of them believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as savior. We finally moved away from both our extended family and are doing well. Thank you, Jesse. I appreciate your humility and Christ-like response. But there is no need for apologies. We all have regrets. We all change our minds. And we all defend our positions with fervor. That doesn't mean we don't have open minds. Most of Philosophy and Theology, and they are inseparably tied together, involves an exchange of ideas, controversy, intellectual frustration, research and regrets. I have come to believe that none of us has the whole truth, aside from the fact that Christ is Truth. But, for whatever reason, as someone explained before, in response to my question about so many denominations, it is like with the Tower of Babel. God confused their languages and dispersed them.

We all have different points of view. Good thing is that a Forum like this one gives us a chance to discuss and compare. Our views may either strengthen or change. Some Christians worship on Saturday. Some Baptize by immersion. Some believe in transubstantiation. Others believe in Free Will and some don't even believe there will be a Tribulation or Rapture. And they all get that from the same Book. So, in my opinion, no one has a lock on the whole truth. God has given each one of us a little bit, so we don't get puffed up with pride.

Jesse your points well taken and I feel the same exact way on preachers on TV. TV is filth and then for a couple of hours on Sunday they allow Jesus to be preached? I do not think so. Especially the big names on the airwaves are the ones I trust the least. Many churches are state incorporated 501 C 3 IRS approved tax exempt businesses, esp the larger denominations. They must agree to never teach against "public policy" to keep their tax exempt status. Things like legal abortion, sodomite marriage, etc you get the idea. So basically many churches are actually state chartered corporations with the name "church" in there somewhere. You can look this up with the Department of state (your states) division of corporations or businesses.

Jeffrey, sometimes Israel is referred to as Jeshurun. Apparently, used affectionately with poetic connotation. (see also references to this name in Deut 33:5, 26; Isa 44:2).

The message in the passage you referred to, is that God has cared for His children, Israel, right from their beginning, feeding them the best of the earth had to offer. But they committed spiritual adultery & turned aside from the Lord, & so they are thus described in v15 (that they became lazy & insensitive to the things of God & turned to the gods of the nations).

So; I would say that God created the family; and therefore, if anything takes from that, it is wrong even if it is considered a christian thing to do.
