Required to walk with Jesus?
So that says you don't believe! No one has authority to take from or add to --
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Genesis 7:12
Genesis 8:2
you seem to be and I would say that you are right on; but I don't know how long that was after Adam as I have never read the verses between Adam and that flood; and it probably does not list every generation and maybe only the relevant ones. very interesting
Are these stars maybe referencing angels and not people? In the book of Revelation, the stars are making reference to angels, spirit beings. It is interesting that Jesus had a star, and it was a special star. In Matthew Chapter 2, it was called "His star."
I am wondering, and I have no scriptural evidence of this, but I am just wondering if that was the same star (Angel) that ministered to Jesus while He was out in the wilderness for 40 days? Honestly, I do not know the answer to that. It's just a thought!
I don't think Romans 9:13 has anything to do with predestination or salvation. God doesn't determine ahead of time who will or will not be saved. He knows who will receive Him and who will reject Him. Predestination is never associated with salvation in the bible. You will always see the word associated with those who are already saved. It's what has been predestined or chosen for us as part of our inheritance. Predestination in the bible never has anything to do with predestinating people for Heaven or Hell. It's never used that way.
Every time the word predestinated is used in the scriptures; it always makes reference to part of our inheritance in Christ. If He did not choose me and predestine me to be holy and without blame before Him in His love, I'd never be able to stand before Him. But I've received Christ as part of my inheritance.
Christ died for everybody. He knows ahead of time who will receive Him. He never forces anybody to receive Him or reject Him. Because I am in Christ, I have been predestined by God to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren, that is, the head of the body of Christ, as He is.
As far as free will goes, you're going to upset a lot of "free-willies" here if you are telling them that they don't have a free will. Everyone has free will, and as long as they live in a body of flesh, they will always have that free will. But what is free will attached to, your flesh or your spirit?
It is the flesh that has free will. But God could care less about our flesh. He didn't save our flesh. He saved our spirit, our soul. Our flesh will NEVER submit to the things of the Lord because it will always be in opposition to Him. But our spirit, our soul, as Paul says, we are slaves to Jesus Christ. No free will when it comes to our soul. Our soul is saved forever if Christ is in us. He does not give us eternal life. He gives us Himself, and He is eternal life. That's why we have eternal life!
Matthew 5:17, 18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled". Rev. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments , that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city".
I do believe in keeping the Sabbath, but keeping the Sabbath is only one of God's commandments. We have to obey all of God's Commandments. Jesus died so that we may be saved.
Abba Father, bless everyone here today, meet every need. If some are sick, heal them, discouraged and downhearted, lift them up and help us to be all that You created us to be, whole in You, and united in Christ, and full of the Holy Spirit in all knowledge of You, and strengthen us in these evil days to stand tall, fully equip for You have called us to do, in Jesus Name I pray amen.

Genesis 2:4
and then ADAM and Eve was the first generation; and God walked with Adam and gave instructions to him; and created Eve for Adam etc
I hope that my comments come out in orders and that they are helpful in understanding these 2 chapters of the BiBle
You have a noble desire, and I trust God will help you.
This website's verse of the day is beautiful. "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3 God bless you in your battle!

Revelation 9:1
God bless according to your need.
People sometimes have trouble with chapter 1 and 2 and so maybe it is best to take it from the beginning, and look at one verse at a time. I love this particular one as it could not have been said any better. In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. It doesn't say when the beginning was, not yet; but later we will see He created "lIght', and dIvided it from darkness and so the beginning was the first day. Genesis 1:5
But is that what Christ was referencing in Matthew 24, when He spoke of stars falling to earth?
Is the reference to stars a reference to actual meteors, or is it a metaphorical reference to something else?
I think a study of Revelation and other passages in Scripture will lead us to the conclusion that the stars, in the context of Matthew 24, was more a reference to people in positions of leadership. Don't we often, for example, refer to someone with great talent or accomplishments as a Star?
See Numbers 24:17, for example. Here, Jesus is described as a star. See also Daniel 12:3. The reference to the stars, just as to the Sun and the Moon, might best be understood as a reference to people, governments, heads of state, people of influence.
Jesus was the Bright and Morning Star.
God created, one must know how to create in our own lives. Speaking those things into existence that one truly desires, then knowing what is good and speaking good over our creations
It is unquestionably the case, that Matthew is written for the followers of Christ. Whether the theme is the Jewish lineage of Christ or fulfillment of OT Messianic prophecy, Matthew was written for the Believer.
And that is how the Chapter begins. Christ outlines the events preceding His Return and the end of the age. These are two conjunctive events that are dependent on eachother.
This is the only place in the entire Bible where it identifies a specific time for the Return of Christ. And it is Christ Himself who tells us, His Disciples, when He will Return.
First, He identifies several things that will happen. One is the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. Then the Revelation of the AntiChrist, as he sits in the Holy of Holies in the Temple in Jerusalem and proclaims himself God.
Daniel 7-9, 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation 13, among others, help put this in perspective for us. The Abomination, the AntiChrist enters the Temple to desecrate it, in the middle of the week. That is, 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation.
The act that desecrates the Temple, initiates the Great Tribulation. That latter half of the 7 year Tribulation will last approximately 3 1/2 years more.
Then, Jesus emphasizes, then and only then, you will see me Return. Don't be fooled, Jesus cautions. I will Return IMMEDIATELY AFTER all these things. Not before, AFTER. IMMEDIATELY AFTER the Great Tribulation of those days.
Keep in mind that this is the only place in the entire Bible were we are given a specific time for the Return of Jesus. And it is Jesus Himself who tells us. Don't be fooled, Jesus cautions.
After the Great Tribulation we will be gathered up to meet Jesus in the air. See similarities in language with 1 Thess 4 and others.
Note: I was so busy with 8-5 /job making sure money flowed to maintain the american dream. 75% of the dream was having perishable stuff /idols that rust or moths eat up. I was so busy I did not realize the TRUTH in 28-29 above. Thank GOD for HIS WISDOM. WISDOM to both know and understand TIME is NIGH exactly like 29-29 bare witness to. Never-the-less John 3:16-21 is waiting on all who is willing to follow IT's instructions because The return of JESUS is NIGH. Also 31 above is TRUTH.
