Gordon The bible does not indicate there were angels prior to Genesis 6. So my answer would be no.

But there were giants after the flood think David and Goliath and the philistines.
  • Gordon campbell on Genesis 6 - 5 years ago
were there giants on earth before Adam and Eve?
  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 1 - 5 years ago
My apologies for giving you Exodus 12:4. I meant to give Exodus Chapter 12 Verse 46, not Verse 4. Exodus 12:46 talks about the Passover Lamb, that they were not to break the bones of the Lamb, even after they kill it, the foreshadowing of the fulfillment of prophecy that when Messiah comes, the Lamb of God, to die for the sins of the world, that there was a prophecy about Him that not a bone would be broken.

LET US (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) crested Adam from dirt. Dirt because he would eat of the earth. God breathed into Adams nostrils & he became a living soul (mind, personality, will) and he was connected spiritually. As people who are born again are now.

We don't get to become angels; on earth or in heaven. People don't have power to order the angels around. You have to ask God for assistance.

I don't know what you read but some of the info is scrambled. Use the search box at the opening of this website and type in angels.

I read this scripture almost every night. It reaffirms that as long as I stay in God's will, I am protected Even though people may fall all around me, the plague shall not come nigh thee (me). The safest place in the world is in the will of God.

The coronavirus is not end times. The world has gone through numerous pandemics, some of which continue yet today. To name a few pandemics...The 1918 flu, polio, malaria, SARS, MERS, AIDS. The Bubonic Plague killed 74 million people. That is only to name a few, there have been many more.
  • Light warrior - In Reply on Genesis 1:4 - 5 years ago
Absolutely incorrect... Light and dark does not reflect Good and evil. This is a misnomer. Light and darkness are both two equal parts of a whole. God uses these two elements to create space for growth and learning. we all spend nine months in darkness before receiving a light and coming from our mother's womb. I'll see you tomorrow planted in dirt into darkness to germinate. after some time they peek through the surface and receive the sunlight and finish their growth. Everything starts off in darkness.

Thank you so very much. No words can say how much it means to me that you answered. I wasn't expecting that. I do believe and all the more now. I have no one to ask things things since I have been saved but the Holy Spirit. If I am unsure again about something can I contact again?

He died on a Friday, sometime shortly after 3 PM in the afternoon. The Sabbath day was on a Saturday, and no one could be hanging on a cross on the Sabbath day according to Jewish Law. On the day of preparation, which would have been Friday, Jesus and two others were crucified. They had to be dead before sundown because at 6 PM, that was the end of the workday for the Jews, and they couldn't still be hanging there on Saturday, the Sabbath Day. It says it was about the ninth hour, or 3 PM when Jesus' Spirit left Him. They came by to break the legs of the other two, but when they came to Jesus to break His legs, He was already dead, so they did not break His legs. That in itself was the fulfillment of Psalm 34:20, and Exodus 12:4.

I awoke Wednesday 4-15-2020 to the words "come, let us reason together" ( Isaiah 1:18). My county and state (Jones County of Mississippi) just sustained a devastating tornado (4-12-2020 Easter Sunday) where many were killed and numerous homes were destroyed. This chapter is a perfect description of how the Lord feels about our present day church services (verses 12-16). It is a perfect description of the condition of mankind (verse 6). Much more could be said about this chapter, but let each one seek for himself/herself. God will reward one with knowledge as one seeks knowledge and understanding.

  • Brooke on Exodus 20 - 5 years ago
Thank you to those that took the time to help me understand why, after telling us to have no other god before him, he would send another god his son, for us to worship. Is the trinity the only biblical reference to this? I do love the Lord and Christ, I'm having difficulty understanding this that I have asked, and your input is very much appreciated.

    Thank you so much.

Read Revelation 12 and you'll see Satan kicked out to deceive those on earth. Now read verses 3 and 4. Let's remember the time was shorten for the elect sake because no one could put up with Satan for 3 an a half years so from the Revelation 9 we know

It's 5 month. When you see a supernatural in Jerusalem stand up and clam he's God don't go following him like the rest of the world stay home and have your bills paid and have food and wait. Half of 5 months and when the two witnesses are killed in a place all can see so watch the news and 3 and a half days later they will Stan up and then you will hear the 7 trump. Oh, there ain't no rapture until all are changed at the 7th trump. Oh, someone should tell the rapture people that Christ is coming here where would the rapture fly to and then think! Gods elect are here waiting for Christ and they think they get to fly to the moon.

Dispensation has reference to giving out something, nothing to do with a period of time. Ever hear of a soap DISPENSER it gives out soap. Webster dictionary 1828 DISPENSATION, noun [Latin See Dispense] the word appear 4X in the KJV bible

Definition: That which is dispensed or bestowed; a system of principles and rites enjoined; as the Mosaic dispensation; the gospel dispensation; including, the former the Levitical law and rites; the latter the scheme of redemption by Christ.

There are two dispensations 1. Moses and LAW and 2. Christ and Grace. Moses gave us the law from the Lord and Christ gave us the gospel of Grace. There is only one gospel of Christ.

Paul taught repentance also 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

    Jesus Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works;

or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place,

    except thou repent.

Rev 2:16 - Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Rev 2:21 - And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Rev 3:19 - As many as I [Jesus] love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

    Very important doctrine

Reading Ezekiel 28:12-19, Matthew 25:41, Hebrews 2:14 and Revelation 20:10, it is apparent that the end of Satan is destruction in the lake of fire. There is no savior for fallen angels. Thank the LORD that he so loved us and provided his Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sin.
  • Bob on Psalms 2 - 5 years ago
Verse 2:12 just blows my mind... the Bible is an incredible book, God is totally AWESOME! David, alive 100s of years before Jesus Christ, and human (like us), is telling us to "kiss the Son". Wow! Talk about God's goodness to give him that kind of revelation. David loved the Lord, and for 150 Psalms you can see it in each one.
