The Bible is replete with the LORD's name: Jehovah (YHWH). There are of course other names that He is known by, according to His Position & Work. You can Google 'The Names of God', to learn more. But you mention Baha'ullah: his name means "glory of God". He is seen as the latest prophet of God & has a good following. However, when you examine his teachings, you will see that hidden behind his praises of God, he has a low regard of God's Son, Jesus Christ, treating him as just a prophet, as Mohammed & others do. When this happens and the Bible is reinterpreted, then falsehoods arise & we no longer have a true message from God for us but a lie through negation of Jesus' Sacrifice.

An interesting subject for thought. My personal impression, as part of my musings, is that spirit beings were not governed by natural physics of movement but rather like the teleporting observed in the series: Star Trek! In that show, men had to de-materialize, go through a teleporter, & re-materialize at the destination. Of course, spirit beings have no physical material to 'de-moleculize', but the manner by being in one place & in the next moment, in another, seems logical to me. The fact that even evil spirits can inhabit both man & beast serves to describe not only their substance but power to move (at an inconceivable speed) according to their will.

There are Scripture references to this which are general warnings. The first one we cite is: Ephesians 5:18 "Be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit". Apostle Paul warns of high consumption of alcohol which leads to loss of self control & sin, but rather to be filled (drunk) with God's Spirit. A believer filled with the Holy Spirit is truly a joy to be near rather than one who is inebriated. Other references: Luke 21:34, Romans 13:13, 1 Corinthians 5:11, 6:10, Ephesians 5:18, Genesis 9:21, 19:30-36, Proverbs 20:1, 23:20,30,31, are some for you to look at. So, alcohol is not prohibited per se , but warnings are given which should alert us to its use/results.

I totally agree with the scripture you sent. I used to wonder what apostolic ministries were about, but I have enough problems with the Jehovah witnesses that drop by. I tried to share Jesus with them but their eyes kind of glaze over. I pray for them instead now. He's not willing that any should perish; but that all would come to repentance. Amen.

I do not know about all that speed of light stuff. I do know Paul spoke of a 4th dimension that may just be where the spririts have access to. Ephesians Chapter 3: 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

When preachers teach on the subject of the Great Tribulation & of end times, they will touch on some or all of these associated chapters in the Book of Revelation. Maybe some preachers believe that Christians will not be around to experience this horrendous time on Earth, so there's little point in making a major study of it. I would be interested to know which cults you refer to that "dapple with it"? And what points do they make from it? Revelation has a lot of imagery, as revealed to the apostle John. He reported what he saw by vision/dream from the angel; he probably had limited understanding of some things, but he recorded what God wanted us to know.

Yes it's very evil it is not a black or white thing. We are to forgive no matter what But not used as a rug mat! Although, Some may need counseling from a preacher or someone that is qualified and that can be trusted. Lots of prayers are needed. But with God all things are possible.

Bearing in mind also that women played a very important part in the Church & most definitely as mothers in raising godly children (e.g. Timothy). Based on what the Scriptures say on this subject & without any further details elsewhere, it seems that apostle Paul does require the silence of women in the Church in regards to teaching. Of course, to sing and pray is allowed, but teaching is the responsibility of men. I know women now pastor & lead & blessings have flowed; but there is a biblical warrant here.

A disciple is a follower of Christ. An apostle is someone who was sent out on a commission. All true believers who are following Christ are called disciples. There are no more apostles today because the qualification of an apostle was that he had to be there from the time of John's baptism and had to be an eyewitness to the resurrection of Christ. Therefore, we still have disciples today, but no apostles.

To add: Jesus' apostles also were filled with the Holy Ghost so that with their lives and ministry it was said, "that they turned the world (sic) upside down" ( Acts 17:6). Whereas His disciples were empowered at special times (when they were to told to go out and heal the sick, raise the dead, etc. ( Mt 10:8). Today, there are no apostles in the strictest sense of the word (some would disagree, of course), since we have not seen the Lord, but we are His disciples as we learn from His Spirit and do what He asks of us.

God, I pray for healing, physically and mentally for myself and the entire world. I pray the coronavirus leaves this Earth and from this experience, we all become closer to God and to each other through love and understanding.
