Find your favorite preacher on youtube to view some Revelation 12 teaching. You'll have to put the 12 in the search box. My personal favorite on revelation is Oral Roberts. I lived in Tulsa 3 yrs. People there made jokes about him every day mercilessly. One time he said something that caused huge uproar and the Christians said they were going to hide under rocks. Something boiled up in me (Holy Spirit) and I shouted, are you all going to turn on a brother?! Makes me think of apostle Paul. Everybody just kind of melted around a corner. We gotta stick together. (It was Jesus not me.) we don't get to shun...

All Christians are called to peace. Also, as much as is possible within you be at peace with everyone.
Caution: do not tell little children who ended it. Not till their 30's.
Personally, I think grounds for irreconcilable differences (as per Bible) is adultery (with either sex). and physical battery. I highly reccomend that you should seek Christian counciling first. Sometimes the couple can be reconciled to the marriage.
My personal thought is don't marry unbelievers! God forbid the Jews/Israelites to intermarry with other tribes. He had a good reason for saying that (idolatry).

No women pastors, however Deborah was a judge (leader) and prophetess. When the Lord can not find a man with a heart as pure as a woman the Lord can and does use a woman for his purpose.
Judges Chapter 4: 3 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.

4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. (she was the leader)

Nimrod just had too much money. What he meant for evil was altered to be a blessing. Imagine if the whole world didn't have diff. Customs, music, clothes, travel. We'd never go anywhere.
  • Mick on Psalms 19:13 - 6 years ago
This is for everyone: we're not under the Law.
However in Matthew chapter 5, Jesus reviewed some laws and stated some that are still in force. It's all in red ink, Folks. It's not meant to constrain, but to protect.
What Jesus gave us was 2 new commandments.

Noah didn't have anymore sons. Genesis 10. Generally daughters were not mentioned in recorded genealogy; unless in the genealogy that led to Jesus Christ or Son of man.

I need prayer for God to give me the right words to say to the Interviewer of Aerojet Rocketdyne of East Camden, Arkansas on my telephone interview Tuesday morning, 4-7-20, at 9am central standard time. This my 2nd interview for the Quality Inspector job that was postponed in March because of the coronavirus and social distancing. Pray that I win this interview and get hired as soon as possible. I need this job because it pays more money. I am struggling financially because of my present job which is paying minimum wage. I can't live off of that with all the debts, my rent, and other bills I got to pay weekly & monthly. Thank you in advance for praying with me and for me.

New Testament Scripture, "If you love Me, keep my Commandments" ( John 14:15); in these types of discussions, in general, why aren't the two Great Commandments also mentioned since they are mentioned in the NT also? Getting tired, Are the 10 commandments part of the Mosaic Law and if so, then one must keep the whole law, true? If one lets God empower them to keep the two Great Commandments, will it cause them to obey the Ten Commandments also?

  • Neil MacEwan on Matthew 1 - 6 years ago
Re Mat 1:17....the genealogy...start with Abraham as 1, Isaac 2, etc, and since there were 3 batches of 14, that would make Jesus the 42nd...but continue with the count suggested above...and you will find that Jesus is 41!.....?
So there is a missing generation?
    Any thoughts on this?
    Who is the missing generator?
I have an answer that satisfies me....but what say you?

Some things never change. Just like Nimrod who had the tower of babble built to try and take over Gods kingdom. Lie to the people of that time period and gave another reason why he wanted the tower built so he could have his way. he was the 1st.Freemason' that ever existed, he invented the craft, the whole doctrines from 1st.degree Mason to 99 degree Mason. Witchcraft to the max. He became very arrogant and thought he could win a war against the most high. Satan controlled him 100%. Centuries later year 2020 the same people, same luciferian spirit, same Freemason's, and illuminate members relatives are going to try it again ! Didn't learn a thing from the first failed attempt to take over.

Are there any women pastors in the Bible?
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 5 - 6 years ago
My initial comment disappeared. I did state that a wife would not be required to remain with an abusive husband. Though both the OT and NT are silent on this aspect of marriage, largely because women in that era were expected to be in the background and suffer in silence, when a believing wife has to undergo such suffering, then the option remains open to leave. 1Cor7:13 speaks of a woman's choice to leave an unbelieving husband (no indication of abuse here). She is advised to remain in the marriage if the husband is pleased for it to continue. But if she chooses to leave (then read on in my next comment)....
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 5 - 6 years ago
So this verse allows for the wife to leave her husband if he is unhappy with her (maybe because of her spirituality or references to his ungodliness), but v11 of the same chapter admonishes her, that if she were to leave, that she should remain unmarried. I understand that the Lord does not regard divorce after a lawful marriage but that the spouse is still married in the Eyes of the Lord. If he or she remarries, then adultery has been committed. So, I understand, that a wife can leave an abusive marriage but she should also choose to remain single.
  • Chris on Genesis 5 - 6 years ago
If someone is suffering abuse in a marriage, I don't believe that the Lord would have that relationship continue. The Bible does not speak on this subject, as with the customs of that era, women generally remained silent in their suffering. The Bible does speak on divorce (both in the OT and NT) but not specifically on abuse in marriage. 1Cor7:13 refers to a Christian wife who is married to an unbeliever. The apostle urges her to not leave him if he is content to continue the relationship. And the blessings of that unequal yoke is described in v14. (see following comments).

I read half of Lamentations night before last. God has bent over backwards to bless them. The apple of his eye. Known the world over as his peculiar people. The envy of the nations. It hurts me that they hurt Him. Resist Him. It gladdens me that many returning Jews that have been saved are evangelizing. Hard to do when you are sheltering from a viral pestilence. May be this disease is from the I WILL that is loose in the world? You can't read Lamentations and not miss the severity of emotion. The last grains of sand in an hour glass fall real fast. Makes me wonder? Let us all pray for a revival. Now when we are confined. I hope you will. Some of Stan Telchin's testimony is on YouTube.

There is several counterfeit CHRIST coming first to this Earth one to get the whole world to take that Mark for Peace & Safety ! That will not just give you grievous sore and make you like the walking dead, but damn your souls to Hell forever with them ! That place not originally prepared for us but the Fallen Angels for doing all this ! When beheading is going to be only other option for not taking that Mark ! Why Jesus already made that way, and even way of escape, from that hour that is coming to try the whole world but is not satans counterfeit/s coming to take the world souls if not their heads ! What exactly do you want to know about rev 12. My opinion is the woman is symbolically eve/ mary / church.
most of the symbolism of revelation comes from the old testament. IF you have never read the entire Bible then the
references to the symbolism makes no sense. hard to cover it all in 500 words of less.
